Joe and his crew are an amazing group of individuals who were able to assist me with issues I had been having with my PT Cruiser. Bought from a mechanic, it had been rigged to sort of run until it didnt for me anymore. Joe was able to determine all the issues, explain everything throughout as to what was wrong, and get me back on the road. I was expecting a crippling bill because of what was needed, but was very happy with all that was done for a very reasonable price. Everyone knows how difficult it to find an auto repair shop you can trust. My MILs car was leaking transmission fluid and needed to be repaired. I checked reviews of several local shops and ended up calling Aamco. I dropped off the car and the shop called a few hours later with the diagnosis and estimate for the repair. They suggested one additional repair and two service items, which I was already aware of. They didnt try to over sell or suggest repairs that werent needed. I authorized the repairs and service and they finished by the end of the day. Price was also considerably less than I quoted at the dealer. I recommend this shop. The shop also practices safe COVID procedures.

I went there knowing the repair I was asking for would be a temporary fix. They took care of my request without making long faces. They gave me a discount and explained exactly what it would take to do a permanent repair, detailing parts & prices. Ill be going back in a couple of weeks when I can leave my vehicle for a whole day. The Ford dealer wanted me to leave my vehicle for whenever they could get to it. It could sit on the dealer lot for 3 to 4 weeks waiting for the cars in front of it to get done. No way. AAMCO wants your business. They do the quality work you ask for without a bunch of up-sell. Im going back to AAMCO for my repairs.

The few guys that worked there on Saturday saved my whole trip. They knew the severity of my time crunch and really took the time out to really help me out. I had the initial work in the surprise location and this place easily surpasses the quality and customer support.i recommend this place anyday over the one in surprise. I really wished I had these guys worked on my car first. Anyways They brought me back showed me what was wrong, explained while showing so it clicked better for me. Unfortunately with time crunch and the last minute the only thing they could do was a temp fix. However what they came up with to fix was genius. I have a feeling this temp fix will carry me a long way. They did all this from free of charge. Super glad these guys are passionate and actually cared to do the job right.

Joe Declined to even provide quote and service because we bought used vehicle and unable to answer when vehicle was serviced last by last owner. Its one thing if he was courteous about it or explained why but after only giving him info on vehicle just said he was going to decline doing work. Called another company and they explained why in nicer manner and said they can look at fluid first to see if it can/should be done.

Steve, the owner, gives exceptional customer service and strives to accommodate his customers. I have had a hard time finding someone that could tell me why the Service Engine light was coming on in my 1990 Oldsmobile. They were able to do it with no problem.Jason, the mechanic that worked on my car was wonderful! He was able to fix my car with no problem. He also went above and beyond to explain things to me and make sure I understood.This is the most honest shop I have been to in quite some time. They are focused on quality service at a good price and customer service is the utmost importance. I will be using this shop from now on!!

I have had my truck in this shop twice in one month. Both times my repairs were affordable, fast, and fantastic quality. Great place to go to when you want a human who is also a professional in their field to take care of you. I use the word human to clarify that they see you as their equal as a friend someone who needs to be taken care of as such. Joe at the front desk makes sure to explain what he sees is wrong with your vehicle why its happening and all the options available to you. I had my car serviced today at AAMCO. They changed the transmission fluid and replaced the fuel filter in my 2006 Mustang GT. I was extremely pleased with the service provided. Steve Hosick was very professional and courteous. The work was accomplished quick and cost was very reasonable. I had been looking for a repair shop with honest workers for a long time and I am sure that I finally found one. Steves attitude was excellent and that made me feel very comfortable. The service wasnt half bad until I brought my car back for a minor issue. They tried telling me it was my fault even tho the issue didnt begin till the day I got the car back. They fought me very hard to get out of working on it. So they ask me to leave my car...no problem. They call me 2 hours later to tell me the car is ready to go. It took them longer to tell me it wasnt their fault than it did to fix it. When I got the car back it had trash in it that I know I didnt leave in it. Also the issue I brought the car in for was not fixed. They said they cant fix it. Guess Ill take it somewhere that can. I very much regret bringing my nice new car here.

Had repairs done, and they were not done correctly. Had to go to another repair shop where they were honest did the repairs correctly. The best part of this all is my battery work just fine before I had my repairs done at AAMACO, the day I came to pick up my vehicle the battery dies and it worked the whole time my wiring hardness repairs were being done. Just when I came to pick my vehicle out of nowhere its completely die and needs to be replaced. Funny how that works out. IF I COULD RATE A ZERO I would. This shop is not trustworthy, dishonest and I wouldnt recommended to anyone.Samantha M.

These people are absolutely wonderful, they kept us updated every step of the way.They are honest, friendly and very reliable. Our 2010 Chevy Cobalt was in and out in 3 days, and have had no problems.I cant say enough, you all know how hard it is to find good, honest mechanic in general to do any kind of repair on our vehicles.They will be my go to shop for any future problems that may arise. In November 2011, my 97 Honda Prelude was towed to the dealer. They could not replace nor repair the transmission. Larry was a great help getting the car towed to AAMCO and they rebuilt the transmission. Prior to that, all my service work was done at the dealer. Since that, I have only used Peoria AAMCO for ALL repairs and maintenance. I ask a lot of questions and they spend the time explaining whatever to me. They are always polite, knowledgeable and helpful. They are a considerable distance from my house; but, their work ethic warrants the travel.

Great service!Came in specifically to a transmission shop thinking our vehicle would be needing trans work, turns out it was somthing else and did they sure save us 100s and didnt take advantage that is was a smaller issue. Joe talks to you like a personal friend, very knowledgeble and hears you out carefully to what the issue is and doesnt make hasty assumptions. We live pretty far. But due to great service and quality repair. Well be coming here from now-on on any other repairs that come up.

Steve and his team were outstanding to work with. Steve kept my Aunt Ann posted on what they had to do with her transmission and before she drove away they kept it an extra day to make sure everything was working right and going through the rest of the mechanical system to make sure everything was good. The quality of customer service is above the norm in comparison to their competitors. Just last week her brakes on her truck broke down and they were able to take care of her immediately and did a great job. My Aunt is very happy with you and what you have done. So I was recommended by pep boys to call this place because AAMCO specializes in transmissions. I did and boy I was in for some mechanical education! I called AAMCO- Joe answered the phone and asked a few questions about the vehicle I have and really just from a consultation he informed me about the Jeeps transmission faults made on the behalf of the manufacturer ! They are nice people and know what they are talking about however when you wait 20 minutes to get acknowledged for your 1:30 appointment and then they say it might be a couple hours cuz they are busy, okay fine. But 2 hours and 10 minutes later I have my husband call and they didnt even do the test drive yet... a little quickness would be nice considering I had an appointment.

My transmission went out on me on my way to work early Saturday morning. Aamco was the closest and the only repair shop open on a Saturday. They were able to look my transmission and let me know how much it was going to cost me that same day. Steve was friendly and took care of me. My transmission rebuild cost just over 2k, which I thought was a little high in price, but Steve said on Saturday that the cost was going to be in between 1600.00 no more that 2100.00, and of course when everything was said in done the total price for the repair was 2049.00 the high end of the estimate. The service was great and finished my truck in the time frame they told me it would be done. If you have the time to shop around and get a better price I would. But all in all I have no complaints.

I drive from Anthem to have my vehicle serviced here, theyve helped me so much, everything from oil changes to replacing my front struts. the staff are very respectful and understand the value of customer care, something ive noticed other shops have forgotten. i know when i stop by to get work done on my car or truck they get it done in a timely manner. Steve works the front fairly often and he always makes sure your taken care of. id give them ten stars if i could. if your looking for a shop to bring your car too, you wont be disapointed.

Went in to get a new transmission installed on my Nissan Sentra and working with Joe over the last week, I gotta say he’s no better than a snake oil salesman! He’s very pleasant and polite to talk to, but that’s to distract you while he tries to rob you blind. Talked him into lowering the price after I found similar transmissions for cheaper elsewhere, but when I went to pick up my car he proceeded to add on costs that we didn’t agree on. Absolutely shady!

I visited this AAMCO after being put off by two others, (Surprise & Arrowhead) which were closer to my area, Surprise, Arizona. I spoke to Steve on Saturday and schedule an appointment for my 34 foot, 88 Mallard Motorhome. This was a routine 10 day checkup and linkgage adjustment which brought no fresh revenue into the shop.Steve and his staff were very professional and ensured my RV was in and out in a timely manner. From the time I walked into Amco I knew I was in a place that would treat me right. I just wanted a transmission service, lube oil and a filter.I explained that my truck was shaking when it tried to go into 4th gear. Oh it has 204,000 miles on the original trans.Joe said he would perform a free inspection, computer test and road test of my truck.I also had some load cracks and pops in the steering and asked him to check the ball joints and front shocks.Joe kept me informed immediately after they had tested the vehicle and got it up on a lift.I had them rebuild the transmission, put on new tie rods that luckily hadnt come apart before and caused an accident.They also found a cracked transmission mount that was part of my cracking noise.I highly recommend the team at Amco, Joe, Jason and Steve are going to have my business for a long time.They treated me fairly and no high pressure.My truck now drives like a new vehicle.I am 71 years old and have been around the car industry for many year and have owned 77 vehicles.So I think I know the pros when I meet them.Thanks guys.Brad

I took my daughters Jetta in for an AC issue. I left it with them and told them I was not in a big rush. The next day I got a call and was told that it appeared to just be a small leak. They where putting some dye in the system and I would need to come back in a week or so, they assured me that the compressor was fine and just a small leak.
