I had my car painted and a little body work done at this shop. I paid $2300 and the car is still under warranty. The owner refuses to fix the chipping peeling paint. Instead he painted over it and told me i would have to repay for a paint job if i wanted the chipping peeling paint gone. I refused to pay knowing my car is under warranty so off to the proper agencies I go to get this dealt with. My advice would be to go elsewhere to a better PROFESSIONAL shop who cares about your vehicle and thier quality of work. I have multiple pics to show you i will post them for public view. Last but not least this company is just overall poor service is every aspect ownership, time, quality, and customer service in general. Thanks for reading I hope I helped anyone looking for information. As I seen and read other 1 star reviews it seems like the owner doesnt seem to take credit for anything truthful. He repeatedly states his shop did not do work for that Customer. Im sorry but as someone whos personally seen/had this happen to me and been treated unfairly I had to make the community aware of this thanks again.UPDATEThe owner response to this if you cant tell once again trying to take the attention off of his quality of work. My past has nothing to do with the money i gave you to do a job and as everyone see the results of the work in the pics. I paid $2300 for this poor work sorry but not sorry the community needs to know this shop is not good at all. I have phone calls into the appropriate agencies to resolve this matter hopefully. Also the owner saids it not under warranty, I attached a picture of my gloss and peeling warranty anything under 12 months is free no charge. I personally want to remind you this is 9 to 10 months into the paint job so it is under 12 months

Very slow, service wise. It took them almost a month to repair and paint a series of small scratches on the passenger side of my car. Once getting the car back my passenger door wouldnt unlock, the technician had screwed something up and I had to take it back to them.If you want service and quality, take your car somewhere else.

I made an appointment to have rust repair done to my truck. I was told bring it in on June 7th and I also was requested to put $200.00 down to order parts. I took my truck in on the appt. date, 6/7/21. They now have had my truck for a month and have not started to work on it yet.

This was my 1st visit I was pleased with the manager Todd over the phone. When I took my car in I met the owner Bob which was great with helping with my needs. He worked hard 2 help me save wherever he could. I visited this location from Davenport, IA I drove 100 miles 4 great service and good prices... I cant wait 2 c my new color on my car yay!!!😁

BEWARE!Took my truck in for repair. The estimate was for 12.2 hours. They had my truck for 14days. Ask several times why. Got no answer from them. They didnt work the dent out, just filled it. The paint work was no where near the standards pertaining to their website. Over spray on weather strips, accent panels, door jambs and in the cabin of the truck. Had to take truck back to be repainted. Left a list of the issues pertaining to over spray. Still was not dealt with. I am seriously considering contacting the Attorney Generals office and filing a complaint, as well as to the Better Business Bureau. Will not recommend this shop to anyone.

I had a great experience with MAACO. The staff were professional and informative. They provided excellent customer service even through this Covid-19 situation. I took my vehicle to he shop to repair my bumper. Throughout the time they had my vehicle, the staff communicated with me on a regular basis updates on the repair progress. When I picked my car up, Mitchell and the staff provided a clear overview of my repairs. They were friendly, outgoing, and timely. I appreciate the courtesy drinks and candy. Always a plus. When I went to my vehicle, I couldnt locate it because it looked like a brand new car. It was shinny and sparkly white. I walked passed it because it look so good. I was amazed by the detail of the bumper repair and my trunk was able to shut properly. I swear they waxed or painted the whole car. My car has never been so sparkly white. Thanks for the extra detailing of my car. I have referred both my daughter and my sister to the shop and I will continue to refer friends and family to the shop if they need body repair.

They did an awesome job fixing my F-150 without having me buy all new parts after I got into an accident. Thankfully a nearby mechanic shop wasnt able to fix it because they were going to replace 2 power steering lines and a trans line that ended up not needing to be replaced.

Our collision damage was fixed beautifully! Our car looks like new and the customer service was superb! We picked Maaco over a different local shop based on the customer service alone. I definitely recommend them.

My father had some work done through maaco on his truck I never really bothered looking but let me share what I saw first of all there was overspray of clear coat that was easily noticeable, second on the passenger door window where the work was done the gasket for the window was not corrected put back on as you could easily see it sticking out, third after only a couple months the spots that has to be fixed the paint is peeling off, I could keep going but at this point i recommend going somewhere else if you expect quality as this place doesnt show it. Thank you for responding but he longer has the truck but I respect you replying and offering to fix it

Ive had my fender and window regulator replaced, and corrosion and a dent removed as well as my whole car painted. At first I thought I was unable to afford it but they worked with me and gave alternatives to find something closer to my price range. They have amazing customer service and their job is phenomenal. Had my hood touched up due to dings in the leading edge and the roof was re done due to delamination. Looks great, great paint match. Service was very good. Found a fresh scratch on the quarter panel that didnt see at first since car was picked up in the rain. Took it back and asked if it was possible they did it during the process and they stepped up agreed and said bring it back any time. Not only fixed it like new but touched up another spot, buffed out some other areas and made the car shine, no charge. Very pleased with the service and would recommend these guys. Great experience. They seem to like what they do. Car is silver and 11 years old.

Needed one door painted on my older car...stopped in here after getting serious sticker shock at a couple body shops. The owner was very understanding of my desire to just get a basic inexpensive coat of paint on the door so it would look presentable. While he made sure to explain all my options, he did not try and pressure me in any way to upgrade from the very basic, bare bones paint job I wanted. The quote was a small fraction of the body shops I had visited. He got me in very quickly, and the door looked amazing!! I am thrilled at the results for the price I paid, and I received a lifetime warranty in spite of getting the basic bare bones paint job. DONT GO HERE ...save yourself....read the reviews. I experienced the same treatment. There’s no need to complain because they don’t care. What a waste of time money and had to pay to get the paint job fixed. I wish I saved the money I spent with them and took it elsewhere in the first place. Had to share a car with my wife on both of our work schedules while they had it an additional 5 weeks. I think they just take so many vehicles they are all just sitting around. What are they working on? Or do they just work that slowly? Or do they put you to the side til weeks have passed? They probably only do a good job for insurance companies, because as a customer off the street they don’t care to keep their word or have good service.

I inherited my fathers truck and couldnt afford new paint at any other local shops, so I called Maaco, and Im so glad I did! For $10-20,000 less than other quotes, I got a fantastic paint job. My dads truck sparkles like new. They even found new pinstripes that match what he had perfectly. As if the quality of work isnt enough, they also know how to treat a customer. The service that I received there when my brand-new paint job got damaged was second to none.I would never trust one of my cars to anyone else.

From the moment I called Macco to inquire about repair work on my 2005 Volvo XC90 I felt that I was valued as a customer. They were able to get me in the next day to discuss the job I needed done and give an estimate. They charged me way less than I was anticipating. Which is great because I was expecting to to get an insane quote that would put me in debt for a long time, but they are nothing like that. They are helpful, very nice and they did a great job. They have a customer for life and I will refer anyone who needs autobody work to them!

Went in for estimate was treated very badly after asking questions which made me uneasy to use this facility. But after reading the reviews they are up and down. I did not have work done here so I can not speak to their workmanship but from what I did see and talk to I have to say will look else where to re paint my vehicle

Bob the owner and his team at maaco in Peoria Illinois are awesome. They fixed my Malibu for cheaper then anywhere in town. They could of easily charged me for a grill that was not broken instead took the time and found out what was wrong and called me first to tell me what they were doing.

Took my gto there for a full repaint and fix some dents and dings they beat the local shops estimate by about half sure there was a little overspray here and there and some rubbing compound as expected but after a day of detailing the car looks great for the price I paid they did great very pleased will do business with in the future, thanks

My car was all sorts of different colors, my mirrors were broken, rusted, and big dents were on the side of it. They did an amazing job getting the big dents out of it, getting rid of the rust, and I had bought new mirrors that I was planning on putting on after they were done painting it, but they were so kind and put them on themselves! Do NOT go here. They treat customers horribly. They lie, theyre unprofessional, they take MUCH longer than they say, and once they have your vehicle they dont care if youre happy or not. They make no attempt to resolve issues theyre attitude is just deal with it and pay us. It seems as if you have anything negative to say they either say, we dont have a record of you or berate you in their reply. That says more about the business than a review ever could. If you go here you WILL be sorry. Dont say you werent warned.

Car was in a 7 car accident back in July of 2017, after paying $5,000 and actually having to pull my car from a shop (elsewhere) I was driving with a black bumper... & the car was silver, got several estimates took the car too macco I was skeptical from the price beign so slow but I was wrong it came out amazing. now it’s just about good, if not better then it did when it was taken off the lot when I first bought it very cheap and reasonable highly recommend 10 stars

The head painter is an awesome hard worker and the best painter ever. His name Is Bob Cisneros and if you guys love your car after it is done painted. Ask to thank the painter too because the painter is the best worker there and they or he also deserve to be thank for the awesome job they do.

I will NOT recommend anyone I KNOW to go to this location.Went back because I noticed some damage done where the work was done. Took it back in to show the owner & his assistant. They tell me the damage was small but gave me a quote to replace the damage but will go half on the damage w/ me lol. After reviewing the damage they go the back & come out w/ the worker who I guess did the work on my car. This guy had to be at least almost 80yrs of age. The owner & his assistant asked him does he remember working on my car & does he remember doing the damage of course the worker says no (sigh). The owner tell me well.... hes been working for me for years & years & many more years to come that he blvs his worker over me pretty much. I SAID OK.

First off the owner BoB tried to bribe me to take down my post..telling me he would cut me a deal if i deleted my review.Maaco messed my car up so bad my windows are painted Bob and Jesus also broke my windshield while it was there,there is paint all over my trim n everything..paint n my car all over my interior my dash my plastic in the back, its everywhere..runs on key lock on driver side.HUGE RUN down the passenger side. Fish eyes all over the vehicle..2 pieces of what looks like black hair in the paint there is literally a piece of something in the paint on the truck..Ive never seen anyone do so bad..I balled my eyes out all day of my 21st birthday after maaco had my car for over a month painted it multiple multiple times..my boyfriends truck they painted is so hammered nobody will buy it and they ask where it got painted and there like ohh..I know to not to go there now people ask where my car was painted n j tell them n they tell me how horrible the paint job is which gets me very upset cuz this was my dream car before maaco got ahold of it..all kinds of my chrome has paint.my grill.I had to put new rims n tires on my car cause they had paint n primer all over my rims n tires...and now there bashing others business because of them doing us wrong,thats one of their workers that made a review just like there family members have trying to make them look better then what they truly are.my car makes me miserable to look at it,I cry every time.just like I did when I called corporation whom Im dealing with now to figure out whats going to be done..they waxed my car the day they painted it when there own pamphlet says DO NOT WAX FOR 4-6 WEEKS..BUT THEYBDID MINE THE FIRST DAY IT WAS PAINTED.THE RUST SPOT THEY GOT PAID TO FIX ON DRIVER SIDE IS COMING RIGHT BACK,THEY DID NOT DO IT PROPERLY.MY 80 YEAR OLD GRANDFATHER DOES BETTER THEN THAT..

Maaco does a very good job and deserves to be rewarded for it they do exactly what you ask and they are very good they painted my 2000 Dodge Dakota it was all rusted out and I got a new bed for it and they repainted the whole truck and it shocked me how good it looks now! Thanks Maaco!

Lets be clear i had a blue truck done here 2 weeks after my girlfriend had her car done here. She use one of my phones sometimes she posted frist about her car then i posted about my truck 2 different people. Bob charged me oversized vehicle price. They did not paint the bed of the truck. Then told me that was not in price. Well then why wouldnt you sell more to the person? They broke my step to get in the truck. I even told them when i dropped the truck off. do not step on this its for looks only. Then they broke my driver door handle barely works. now you have to pull it real hard. the painter got blue hand print on driver door and steering wheel that will not come off. The battery was dead when i picked it up. They had the dome light on and AC on full blast and the truck smelled like cigarettes real bad. Like someone was taking ther lunch brakes in my truck. I also had a 10% off coupon from them that they did not take. So lets talk about the actual paint it has fish eyes all over. The passenger side looks like hammer paint. Theres spots where ther is no paint and you can see a different color like where a scratch was. they just didnt wipe the truck down befor they painted it. When i call to talk to bob or Ryan. They like to start an agreement with you and will hang up. I talked to them calm and peaceful yet they have major attitudes and will hang up on you multiple times. All i wanted was my door handle fixed. my step i told them i would fix it myself. that i would like the bed painted. bob the owner told me $300 just to paint the bed. I wish i could post pictures of this truck. If you wanted more $ to paint the bed why wouldnt you tell me that when i dropped it off and told me. Hey you want the bed painted? Its extra. No he dont. Because hes a scammer thats how they work. Get you for more $. Charge me for oversized vehicle but bed not included. Wow.(((( NOW THIS GUY BOB IS CALLING ME AT 1PM HARASSING ME. After Seeing the prior reviews, the 4.5 rating (was 4.8 before the last two) the fact that Maaco Peoria was just given the Journal Star Best of The Best 2016 Award (100%customer write in voters) the fact that I took my Brand New 2016 Camaro SS to them. Ryan and Bob were nothing but professional, curtious, knowledgeable, personable, and honestly, it was the easiest collision shop experience ive ever had in my life. Not to mention my car was done just as promised and looks flawless.So being a concerned customer I begin to look into these reviews.... Jim Smith, Absolute AutoWorks, Absolute Automotive, Absolute Tire, are all the same person. (Although none of these are his real name) Some Stroke that owns a wannabe tire shop in Pekin, IL. So i google this place, Wow... Talk about some unhappy customers! Looks like he has opened multiple pages, and facebook pages trying to dodge pissed off customers!! It really bugs me to see some dirt bag, that rents some dive and changes tires, call himself a business owner. from the reviews and the looks of the place I would recommend staying as far away as possible! Seems to me this guy has some serious issues.I would recommend Maaco to anyone, those guys get it, they care, and it shows!! As far as this creep bashing them on the reviews... I can only imagine that Maaco has bent over backwards trying to make this guy happy... Sorry you guys have this douche bag harassing you.
