Looks like nice place with alot of selection. Man at counter was clueless to what I was asking for.Looking for outside box with one spot for a breaker and one electric plug.Thought he would have at least made a few suggestions as to what they stock that would work. BUT he did not ??Lost my business - will NOT recommend this place !!!Going to camping supply.

I absolutely love coming to this electrical supply company. Always friendly, helpful, great customer service, and great employees that always go above and beyond to help their customers.

We went into their showroom today, at 1030 AM to purchase a floor lamp for our home. There were four employees siting at deals, doing nothing. Not one of them got up and greeted us, even though there was no one else in the store. When one of them did ask what we wanted, we stated we were looking for a floor lamp for our home. They said thy did not have what we wanted but we could look at the catalog and order one. I can do that at. Home! No help, no one ever got off heir butt! No wonder brick and mortar stores are failing. His one should close now! We will never return.

The counter help is awesome. Sometimes when I dont know the correct name of what I need they instantly do. Very nice, polite, down to earth southern folks.

I buy from Mathes Electric because I get good service and fair pricing as I am a buyer for Faith Baptist church of Pensacola. The clerks behind the counter are friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful.

Well they did answer the phone...I was looking for 1-1/4 & 2 1/2 EMT in 20 sticks, They told me they dont carry EMT in 20, ask if they could order it for me as Wheatland and Western Tube both make it, I was just looking for 6 sticks to start, but would need on a regular basis for my business. Was told Id have to buy a whole truck load, Really a whole truck load ??? Way to earn a customer guys!

I called to see if they had a tool I needed. I need this tool to use once in a while. Tom ( I think that was his name) said they have a version of this tool in stock but it was well over $200. The version I am looking for is only about $40 or so. He said the tool I was looking for is for people that could not afford the real tool. Needless to say, I think saying that to a customer is not appropriate and very poor customer service. I will make sure to NEVER call or purchase anything from them.
