Came in with a “No SIM” notification on my phone, I was convinced it was water damaged, took my case off and handed it to the man behind the counter, within a minute my SIM card was readable and my phone was working fine. Turns out it was the SIM card tray, he replaced it for me on the spot. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

I thought my original Xbox One was a goner when it wouldn’t turn on this morning. It isn’t being manufactured anymore and I was worried that I’d have to save up money to buy a new one. That wasn’t the case, thanks to this business! They called just 20 minutes after dropping it off! They ran a free diagnostic in that time and figured out it was the power supply. All I had to do was purchase a new one for $20. Picked the Xbox up right then and it’s working perfectly now. Extremely satisfied and will recommend this business to anyone who needs their console fixed!

Cracked my screen and took it here for a quick repair -- I dont have a standard phone and had to get the glass special ordered. They were the first store I called that was willing to work in my time schedule, and when the first glass was defective they quickly ordered more, and gave me a loaner phone to use for my vacation in case it didnt come in quick enough. Thankfully they got it repaired 2 hours before I had to leave for the airport. Very helpful, really went above and beyond, would recommend to anyone.

Visiting Hoover for a conference and the battery on my OG Pixel phone couldnt handle it. Roy ordered a new battery and when I came back two days later he installed the replacement within an hour and the bill was $10 cheaper than estimated. Im happy. Roys a good guy and Id recommend.

Great staff, the manager is a Navy veteran and is very helpful. This place is always busy and has a lot to offer from repairs or parts and accessories. They also can buy your broken items and help you out with new items. They make Geek Squad at Best Buy look like Carmax compared to an actual dealership, they know what theyre doing and dont scam you like Geek Squad does. Had a cracked phone screen and brought it to Roy and his team at iFix. They were VERY reasonable with pricing and fixed my phone in record time. I defensively recommend this business!

Extremely nice employees and excellent honest work. I bought a used Galaxy S6 off of eBay and I knew that I was going to probably have to replace the battery. I went to Phone Restore in Tuscaloosa and they charged me $90 how to put in a new battery. The battery that they put in was dated 2015 and was just as bad as the battery that came with the phone from eBay. It was draining at 20% an hour. So I walked into this place and told the guy my problem and without even asking he said well lets look and see what the battery looks like that they put in and started taking my phone apart. He discovered the dud and replaced it with a much newer and better battery and sealed my phone up and basically said no charge just pay it forward. The battery that he gave me is now draining at only 5% an hour. Im definitely going to return to this place and settle up and use them a lot in the future. I cannot recommend iFix and repair in The Galleria enough. Thanks guys!

Having gone to two other places before, I was beginning to think I would be without my phone for at least a week. I have a GooglePixel 2, and the first place I went did not have the parts needed in stock (big surprise) and iBreakUfix has a contract with Google meaning they have to repair every ding in my phone which would cost me twice as much as the screen! The man here had the parts and fixed it in under an hour for a cheaper price than I had previously been quoted. Thank you

The glass they use is so inferior to the normal iPhone glass that it broke in under a week. I had a brand new name brand case that offers full protection on it at the time. It cost me over $100 to get it fixed. I could have used that to pay for a new phone as it is almost half the cost of the newer iPhone. Dont waste your time getting it fixed with them. Of course it comes with no warranty. I could have bought a new phone with insurance on the glass and saved. Dont make the same mistake I did.

I sent my IPhone through the mail, and received it back a lot sooner than expected! Not only were they fast, but my new screen and screen protector make my phone look brand new! The package it was shipped back in was also top notch, very secure!

I brought my Google Pixel in to get the audio jack fixed; I came back about forty minutes later and it works great. They didnt even charge me, since it was apparently a really easy fix.

I LOVE ROY! And Matt. Lol. Such a painless, stressless experience. He didnt have the part I needed in stock and when he realized it was going to take a week to come in, he immediately started phone surgery. In a matter of minutes I was back in action, phone worked like new!

I had a problem with the home button. So I took it back in. Even though the screen had cracked he fixed the button and replaced the screen for free and put on some free tempered glass. We’re going to come here from now on.

Do not take your phone here! There are cheaper places with better quality and customer service. I took my iPhone here to have my screen repaired. After the process was completed, I noticed there was a dark area on my screen. I dont see how the tech or associate could have missed it. I noticed this as soon as I turned it on. I walked right back in the store and they accused me of causing water damage after the repair and originally refused to fix it. Id had the phone in my possession all of 2 minutes after the repair. Very rude technician as well. The glass quality is also very subpar in quality. Go somewhere else!

AWESOME service. The right half of my Iphone 5c display and touchscreen were not working and had stripes running across it. The technician was able to diagnose it as my digitizer (spelling?) and fixed it completely in less than 45 minutes. I was able to walk around and shop while I waited, and they politely called me (on an alternate # of course), to tell me it was ready. I would have wanted to pay a little less, but better than a new phone and very convenient!

My iPhone 5S charging port was not working so I went here. They took my phone to the back and got it working again in a few minutes without charge! The service was friendly and respectful. Could no have asked for a better experience!

This is the worst place ever. The first time I went I got my screen replaced and it was good because the man was very nice and helpful. I noticed the next day that my sensor on my phone wasnt working so when I was on the phone I would ear dial people. When I went back to get it fixed, the man wa very rude about helping me fix it. He gave me a whole new one and its still not fixed. I gave them a call and while I wa complaining THE MAN HUNG UP IN MY FACE. How you gonna mess my phone up then not even help me??

Not impressed with this place. In the past, Ive used it to get some advice on whether its worth my wild to get fixed but this was the first time I was going to give it a try for a cable housing that broke off on a tablet board. It was my fault as I was trying to fix a known Samsung issue with the screen display not showing. Web searches all pointed to disconnecting the power cable on the board to reset it. I accidentally opened the tablet and was trying to take the cable off when the housing came apart. Well anyway I decided to give this place a shot. It seems like only one guy works in there and his customer service skills are not stellar by no means. He has a very smart alecky attitude like, why are you bothering me with this? I had called to ask questions before bringing it in and he was just as bad on the phone. Im sure others work there, but this is my experience. I have been in there years past and it must have changed hands b/c I cant help but think this guy runs the place and it wasnt hopping when I was in there on a Saturday morning. Anyway the part wasnt going to be in for well over a month and he did let me know that after a few hours by calling me. I wasnt in a huge rush and $60 seemed fair for the total repair. Heres the thing, if youre good at soldering (Im not) then you can fix it yourself. They order off the web just like we do... (Amazon, Ebay, etc.). The part comes from China and he said as much and I found thats the case with what you order on Amazon for that particular part. Ive replaced digitizers and screens before but Ive never been good at getting modules soldered on a board..so paying a reasonable price to get it done is fair. Well this place just doesnt care and unless you yourself stay on it, youre liable to not hear anything. As a business, it has to be better at getting parts than the average consumer. I told him to forget it and I would just pick it up after leaving it there for a month. In fairness, he did say around Thanksgiving... i just didnt care for his attitude more than anything, but if you like to be treated like a peon, then by all means go there.*Update - During the week of 1/21/2019, I guess the guy that runs the place called me and said they still had the tablet. I had forgotten to pick it up after deciding to forgo the fix about 3 weeks out from Thanksgiving. Anyway he said he fixed it and since I didnt ask for it to be fixed that it was no charge. Well Ill admit thats a step in the right direction based on what I ran into so Ive modified my rating.

Ordered my screen from them on july 5th 2017 and was told it would only be 3 to 5 days till they got it in. Call them today on july 11 2017 and was told they didnt have it yet and they wouldnt have it till july 18 2017. If i ever need another fixed i will be sure to go somewhere else even if it means i pay a little more

This store replaced a charging port. The port was faulty and had to order a new one. In replacing the new one, they scratched my screen to where the buttoms arent visible and basically said thats part of having to replace the charging port and it sometimes happens. They refuse to change my screen. Will never use them again.

Cheap aftermarket screens . Owner is arrogant and tries to lie about what can and cannot be done to repair your phone. I have made several trips to the galleria location to only have halos reappear on my daughters phone again and again. Told me he put a manufacturers screen in my daughters iphone and it was just another cheap knockoff screen. STAY AWAY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE RIPOFF !!!!!!!!!!

It was quick and actually less than 30min for my lcd replacement for the Samsung galaxy s5 but it still kinda popping up so they didnt stick it really good so they should have double checked that but other than that amazing great customer care and support

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE !! went to get a simple screen replacement and they messed up the backlight in my phone . they claim it takes 30 mins to replace a screen yet my phone has been with them since last thursday ! currently stuck with a loaner phone at the moment

They repaired my iPad 2 and two 4th generation iPods that my kids destroyed. This was the third screen that Ive replaced on the iPad and second on the iPods. I had the others done at other places around town. iFix was the third place I tried. This was by far the best experience. The repairs were done quickly and of the best quality. My iPad had all kinds of dust under the screen from the last repair. Thats all gone now. Price was very reasonable. Next time my kids break one of my devices I will go to iFix again!
