Had an appointment scheduled at this location today at at 800 am. I was late getting to the location and was told by Trent that I would have to wait 2 hours. Ok cool. I had to leave for about 10 minutes to pick my child up since it was a 2 hour wait I made him aware of my situation. Upon my return he told me I had a 3 hour wait time now. But why? I’ve only been gone 10 minutes. I guess he didn’t like the fact that I was questioning him and he told me that he wasn’t going to service my vehicle. I will be in contact with my attorney because he refused to complete my service. Worst FIRESTONE EVER!!
Tuesday 11:00 appt for oil/filter change & tire alignment/balance, arrived at 10:30. Returned at 1:30 and vehicle was still in same parking spot, was pulled in bay as I waited onsite. Left and advised I’d be back within an hour, returned and vehicle was now parked behind shop. Neither service had been completed in approximately 4 hours. Terrible communication, would recommend another location.
1st and LAST time getting serviced by them. My car was LITERALLY 3.8 miles down the road and the towing company they recommended charged 100 bucks to go through two lights and make a right into their location. My bill is 1683.41, and as long as I’ve had my car I’ve NEVER had to pay that amount for any issue I’ve had. These people charge the MAXIMUM amount of money for anything they can and I really regret taking my car there. I’m a 8month preg female and if I wanted to spend that much money FREELY I could get me a new car.
Manager Trent is very nice. He ordered the tire for me and installed on time when it came to his shop. Didnt waste my time. I have been using this location since they opened by Manager Bill.
We had serious car trouble on the way home from vacation on a Saturday morning and got off the Interstate in Pelham. This Firestone was very busy but worked us in. They replaced the alternator and battery and got us back on the road. They identified a couple other issues that should be checked out soon but did not pressure us to do anything additional. The price seemed reasonable and we felt treated fairly. The people working there were friendly, professional and really helped ease this stressful situation our family was going through.
Well never come back took them over 4 day to do tires brakes and a valve cover gasket

Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else. I noticed the many recent 1-star reviews of this location when searching for a tire shop, but I figured theyd be able to get a tire patch job right. Plus it was close and I could go by on my lunch hour. Turns out I regret the decision. When I got my car back the techs had over-inflated the patched tire to 58 PSI. There is a warning clear as day on the side of the tire not to exceed 40 PSI. Come on guys! Also, they didnt put the valve cover back on, so now I dont have one. A small thing perhaps compared to the pressure issue, but it shows their lack of attention to detail. I wont trust my car to this location again.
We ordered tires from TireRack. The service on the tires was great. My wife took our Jeep over there and was going to get them to change the oil while it was there. When she got home they called and said they could t do the oil change because the plug was rounded and they would have to replace the oil pan for a small fee of nearly $2000. I thought this was ridiculous so we said no and went to pick the Jeep up. The next morning I took the Jeep to Express oil in Helena. They had the plug out in 20 mins for a $50 fee. Seems like they were trying to take advantage of my wife.

I made an appointment for an 11am vehicle inspection for Uber. On arrival I asked how long it would take and the man up front said “1.5hrs tops”. I gave him the paperwork that needed to be filled out and sat down. After about 30 mins they put my car on a lift in one of the bays, so figured I would be done soon. I was wrong. After 2 hours I asked the guy up front “how long”, he replied “no idea”. I watched through the glass from my chair in the lobby as my car just sat there for a total of 3 hours. I got up and told them to cancel my inspection. I asked for my blank Uber inspection form back but they couldn’t find it because the mechanic was at lunch and not sure where he put it. Never going back there and I’m easy to please. All it would have taken is “let me find out for you, sir”. Just something. Anything!The thing is they had like 8 mechanics working so they weren’t understaffed. My day was pretty a wash after that.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Will advise of repairs needed but never makes you feel pressured to commit to service. Will continue to patronize business.
This is the second time i have to come back because of their negligence! They are not professionally trained! I had learned my lesson now not to come back. I have to take some time off from work just to bring my car back for them to check again what was wrong. And all they say is Sorry and that it was their fault! I wasted time and money!
If you want your tires and rim damaged come here. Also, its pointless to schedule an appointment because you wont be serviced at that time.

3.5 hours to change a tire that they had in stock and did not make us aware of the status. If they had told me from the beginning that it was going to take this long I would have make arrangements to be picked up. My family usually comes here all the time and the service is never this poor. If I had known that they would take this long to change a single tire, I would have gone to one of the other three auto shops I passed on the way here.
Last week, I was on a 7-hour trip with my 3 kids when, not even half way through, I realized I had a nail in my tire! There was only 1 tire in my size in stock (normally I have had to order tires so I wasn’t surprised), but Joey made sure that it was put on quickly and we were on our way within the hour. Joey and his team saved the day! I’ve never had a better experience at a tire place. I appreciate Joey understanding the situation I was in and for him getting my family back on the road so we could enjoy our vacation!
Rude at the front desk. I called yesterday for an estimate an was given one then got to the front desk today an was told the female who gave the estimate to me was “new” and they couldn’t service my vehicle. Please Have the correct people working these positions so people time won’t get wasted.
All of my car care is taken care of at this location. From tires to under the hood. My kids cars are also taken here. They are always respectful, honest and the prices are great. They will always get my business!
Made an appointment at 9am . Left four hours later . They will try and charge you for things you dont need . The workers now dress like they just got out of bed . My car is still messed up and they dont know how to fix it and they dont know what they are doing . I left paying $600.00 for a car that still is messed up . Contacting lawyer tomorrow

I had a problem with a part repaired at the Pelham store. I must say that the Manager Mark handled the issue as fine as anyone could. This is a top notch Firestone location. Wendel was awesome. Very helpful staff. I had purchased a set of tires from them and they did not honor the warranty since I did not have the tires serviced by them. This is just a warning and not a slam. Stopped in cold on a Friday night at 5:00 and they had the oil, wipers and new tires done by 7:00. I was impressed. Lots of service locations around birmingham.
My daughter had a screw in her tire they removed it along with a nail we couldnt see and sealed the tire all for a reasonable price.
Experience here was bad had an appointment for 8 am oil change left at 9:41. Bad service two people came in after me with no appointment they vehicle was service right away left before me. Wont return to firestone . Not even 1 star service

Went here for the tires balanced. Bad decision ever made. After balancing the car vibrate at high speed. Brought it back again told them what happened after i got the car back and i was told by a mechanic that the tires got uneven tread wear need go buy a new tires. My tires got only 15,000 miles on then. So i went to a different auto repair let them check and find out 3 out of 4 tires were out of balance from originally done by Firestone auto repair 2 days ago. Luckily i got fixed and dont need new tires.
I have never felt so degraded as I did today. I have been there before and had great customer service. Sorry it was almost 6:00 when I noticed my tire indicator came on in my car. I stopped and noticed I had a bolt in my tire. Not sure if the gentleman was the manager working the front. He was so rude to me and another customer that walked in the door when he was talking to me. He yelled at the customer will be with you in a moment ARE SHOULD I SAY SCREAM. I was told I needed a new tire, I was not prepared today to have to spend $150...I get the tire could not be repaired. He asked me if I wanted the tire put back on or the spare. I ask him if it would be safe to put the tire back on and his reply was, we sprayed water on the site and no leaks. I asked him would you put the tire back on your daughters car??? His reply, what tire do you want us to put back on? I am single and did not have the money to buy a new tire until Friday. I said if you feel the tire is safe for me to drive until Friday put the tire back on.. He did as I asked....The minute the tech drove my car back around, the tire was completely flat. I get its not good to drive around with a nail or bolt in your tire. But dont you think he would have had some compassion or said put your spare on until you can come back on Friday its not safe. This is his job to inform you. I have a job to inform my patients of treatment that the need. The tech was the only one I have respect for today...He assured me I would be okay driving on my spare until Friday. I will never go back there, not just because of his actions with me. The way he screamed at the gentleman that walked in was the icing on the cake. And of course he could careless he was putting back that tire on my car that could have caused me to have an accident. Glad Im not his Daughter.
I have come here a few times now and I am happy with the work I have received. Normally I make an appointment, but even when I do not, they work to accommodate my service needs. I appreciate how quickly and professionally all of my service has been, as well as how friendly, courteous, and helpful, all of the employees have been. They gave me confidence that they were doing their best to serve my vehicles needs.To date I have purchased a set of new tires, gotten my tires adjusted and re-aligned, and had an oil change.This location has free coffee!I look forward to working with them in the future for any automotive services that I may need while I am in the Pelham and Alabaster area.I definitely recommend this location to anyone who is in need of automotive service.Its also worth noting that my experience with Firestone Complete Auto Care now includes 3 locations in 3 different states, and my experience at all of them has been above what I expected. There is not a location that I would not recommend. Of course a time may come when everything does not workout in my favor, perhaps a part may be delayed through no fault of the employees, but when it does I will remember the excellent service they have provided so far.
Other than Eddie, the guy at the front, this is a terrible location. There is no communication between those in the shop and the customers. I waited for 4 hours for an oil change and coolant system change, only for them to tell me they won’t work on my vehicle. Lied to and horrible communication. They took my oil out and left the car there for an hour before someone went back to it, OIL CHANGE!!!Instead of looking inside at me and judging my boyfriend and I, maybe working on the cars is good idea!! Come to this location if you want to be lied to, get no communication about your vehicle, and deal with racist men!!

They destroyed my engine thanks to faulty parts/service. At my 1st oil change at 3k miles on my 2020 Hyundai Veloster N they installed a faultily oil filter. By the time I noticed the oil light 20 miles later my engine had to be replaced. They admitted fault but then stonewalled me on communications so long I had to file a claim under Gieco comprehensive insurance. My advice is that you never go to a Bridgestone / Firestone for anything. Ever.

Ive been to this location a couple of times now. I actually called and schedule an appointment two days prior to arriving. As I waited in the lobby, I noticed time was passing by. Im thinking surely it shouldnt take this long. I requested service on a part that is located on the left side of the vehicle. They tested the car and the mechanic noticed that the right side was even worse than the left. Not realizing that I requested the other side, he did the right side instead. They came out to inform me of the mistake. I was like well crap. They offered to do the left side like I originally requested and the price remained the same. They were even nice enough to give me a ride home which was about 15 minutes away. My whole point is this location does great work. They had no problem owning up to a simple mistake and they took care of it. I am more than satisfied with this location and Id recommend it to anybody who needs work done on their car. They were also the most reasonably priced and they are open 7 days a week. You really cant beat the convenience factor. Also I recommend calling and asking for a time quote on the service that you think you will need. If you receive an estimate of an hour or longer, just drop it off and get a ride back later. Its best not to rush repairs on a vehicle. Great job guys!
Overcharged for repairs that didnt fix the car. Left without a car for days, and when we finally pick it up, it breaks down withing 10 miles. Forced to get a rental, and pay for more repairs that still didnt work. Ended up fixing it on our own for less than 300 bucks after paying these jokers more than $1000. If youre looking to throw money away, this is the place for you!

It was the worst experience Ive ever had getting any kind of service done on any vehicle Ive ever owned it was ridiculous had an appointment at 10:30 just to get two tires put on the front it was 1:30 before I got out of there Im just saying I Retarded Monkey with no prior training could have done a better job there is no excuse for something taking that long but half the base or empty and the workers are running around doing whatever not changing tires its not even mechanical Im a female 41 years old I could have done it in 20 minutes its beyond incompetent its just badly mismanaged I would not take a bicycle there to get serviced I would never go there and I will never refer anyone to go there not ever. and the only reason they have one star rated its because I couldnt post this without giving them at least one star thats the only reason that got one star

Everything!!!There will always be someone to complain. My experience was great. Needed a new set of tires, alignment, oil change and thought brakes turned out my brakes were fine. Everyone was polite and professional. Christy was my sales rep and she even helped me find a rental. She was very knowledgeable about my SUV as well. When I picked my car back up they even helped me correct an issue with the spare tire holder.

I will NEVER go to walmart again for a tire patch. Firestone is THE place do go! My family got on the interstate for about 2 minutes (headed to the beach) before realizing that we had a very quickly leaking tire! After a lot of work to get packed bags out of the car and getting the spare on, we made it down the street to walmart in Pelham. They all seemed to hate their job and were unwilling to help. Luckily, Firestone was right down the street! Everyone in this location was pleasant and helpful. Not only did the repair only cost us $20, but they had it finished in LESS than 30 minutes!! This was such a huge blessing and we will forever come back when we need something and refer people to your location!

This is my home Firestone. Always great service from friendly staff and everything we have had done to either of our vehicles is done right the first time.This location does get a great deal of traffic (pun intended), so make sure you utilize the appointment feature online or on their mobile app to avoid a longer-than-anticipated wait time.I have popped in to get a new battery and have been out in 30 minutes and I have waited for a couple hours on a really busy day for an oil change. But I still trust the crew and staff with my vehicle maintenance so it’s always worth the wait. And they are always looking for ways to help you and will be upfront about discount eligibility and coupons for services too! I don’t even have to ask most of the time.
Over the past few years, this place has gone down. The mechanics attitudes have changed. The entire staff use to be friendly, however, after my past 3 experiences, I might find another place to get my car serviced. About a month ago, I got all of my brakes replaced. Not bad, right. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed my brakes acting weird. So I took the car back and was told that i needed new rear brakes and the brake calipers went bad. Thats an unusual issue. Especially considering that to replace the brake pads, you have to unhinge the calipers. When I dropped the car off to have it fixed, I couldnt drop the key in the dropbox for some odd reason, the bay door was opened so I walked to it and called out someone. The short Mexican mechanic came over with a clear attitude and I told him I was trying to drop my car off to get fixed. With an attitude, he told me that i needed to go to the dropbox. I explained to him I had issues with the dropbox and he took a few steps towards me and told me that he couldnt help me, but he was more aggressive. The black mechanic came from behind something and took my keys and talked to me like he wanted my business.Considering all of this, I might have to switch to a new place. The whole brake issue doesnt sit well with me.
My family was traveling from Birmingham with four more hours on the road before we got home. A passenger window motor malfunctioned and would not go back up. We made it to the Firestone five minutes before closing time on a Sunday, and the guys helped us with a temporary fix at no cost! Tremendous customer service.
I visit this place often and lately they have seemed like they were understaffed or the staff was not knowledgeable of the services that they provide I have been going to this store more than 18 years I do like the new management because the previous management was not as understanding to peoples needs

Used to take my car(s) here for all of my oil changes and tire/wheel needs. Last incident: techs over filled my oil during a routine oil change (didnt know at the time, just noticed oil on my garage floor), I brought it back and they said I had a seal leak that they couldnt fix & I needed a second opinion, I took it to The Garage and they discovered the overfilled oil and no seal leak, took it back again to Firestone and they not only denied the oil was ever over filled but I had to discuss with the employee why they needed to re-do the oil change to fix the problem. I told the employee to call The Garage to confirm and he wouldnt and they had the tech come to the lobby and argue with me that he did the oil change correctly; when I told him what The Garage had said, he acted offended and rude. Havent been back since and probably wont go back. I just felt like being a regular customer, the situation should have been handled a lot differently & professionally.
Always keep theirs promises, convenient hours I like the unattended drop and pick up possiblities. They also always call if some additional problem needs attention.
Great service, I had a nail in my tire and was in and out in 15 minutes, tire repairs are typically about 20.00 here for nails screws etc.

Had an appt. missed it because of dead battery, Lewis said no problem, made me another appt. for two hours later. Had two new tires put on, oil change and alignment. All done in under 2 hrs and a reasonable price. I also witnessed a few people come in for an oil change on the spot and were accommodated. I would recommend this location based on my experience.

Just went in for an oil change on a busy Sunday. Was in and out of there in about half an hour. Plus they had Wi-Fi to keep me busy while I waited. The guys there are great. I will definitely be going back there again!

Really nice folks but either theyre understaffed and overwhelmed, or just lack any sense of speed. If youre aim is a balance and rotate give yourself anywhere upwards of an hour to an hour and a half.
Replaced a bad battery under warranty with absolutely no problems, and they did it quickly...great customer service, which is sadly lacking in too many places these days. I will use them again.
Never use these people they lie and turn a 100 dollar problem into a 2,000 dollar one!

I tried to have my Vans brakes checked and serviced under their $99.00 per axle special and was told that the whole brake job would end up costing $600 + tax. But I still qualify for the oil change special :) Typical bait and switch - stay away.
