Very pleased with the customer experience, the price, the speed of repairs, and the expertise of the team. I own two older-model Diesel Mercedes-Benzes. I enjoy working on them myself when I can. And it is reassuring to know there is a locally owned, well-managed shop nearby for larger repairs and maintenance from people who care about building trusting relationships with customers.

My check engine light came on last week and I was driving out of town for the weekend. I called to see if I could drop my car off for a day so they could have time to look at it before I went out of town. I was told to bring it over and they asked me to wait while their mechanic checked it out. I assumed that meant a quick look and then leave it to pick up later. About 30 minutes later the mechanic came over to me and explained that it was a minor issue and he had reset the check engine light. He also reported that my license plate light was out and that he had taken care of that. I was amazed that he stopped everything he was doing (and he was very busy) to diagnose my car on the spot. I didnt mention the light as an issue but he proactively took care of that. I expected to pay, of course, for this extremely customer oriented service but was simply waved off and was thanked for coming by. Let that sink in- their busy mechanic stopped everything, diagnosed my car, fixed something I didnt mention but he found and charged me NOTHING! If you are sick of being overcharged and disrespected at our local Audi dealership I suggest you come home to Empire Autohaus because they treat you like family. They are the best.

These guys are great. Friendly, courteous, professional, and went to bat for me with my extended warranty. Great folks, if you have a German or other European car I would highly recommend them.

These guys are awesome 👏. Very professional but with a comfortable family atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. I had a very frustrating issue with my 1993 BMW 318I. I was very lucky to find Empire Autohaus. Last year I purchased a 2007 (now 13 year old) VW Jetta, and I have had really wonderful experiences having it cared for here. I am amazed how I am treated like royalty despite the advanced dilapidation of my vehicle. They always treat the car with great care, and have wonderful communication with me about any ongoing repairs, and the mechanic himself will call to explain to me my options to keep my car running it’s best. I love that they respect my car’s condition, and have never suggested spending more on the car than it’s worth. But at the same time they give me more than my fair share of attention on the phone at at the office. I feel like I must be driving a million dollar Ferrari by how focused they are on taking care of me!I can’t say enough good things about Empire Autohaus. I’m getting tired of my VW, and have been contemplating a purchasing a new car. The service I’ve received has been so positive I am considering purchasing a European car just so I can continue to use this shop for maintenance!

Called in for service on my 17 Golf R, wanted an independent mechanic to take care of the car out of warranty. Scheduled me quickly and spoke details about the Haldex service, even though it was not common. Great service and I think I found a new shop!

Incompetent Buffoons.It has gotten to the point where I now would refuse to take my car to Empire Autohaus if they volunteered to work for free. Every time I have taken my car there recently It has come back with a new and often worse problem. The final time the owner said he would personally fix the problem but another incompetent employee bent part of my top and messed it up. I now believe that it would be less expensive to have the work done at The Porsche dealership itself than at Empire Autohaus simply because at Porsche I only have to pay and go once whereas here I have to go once initially and then however many times are then necessary to fix the problems that they create while fixing the initial problem. It is pointless, and becomes expensive. I expect my car to come back from the shop in better condition than I brought it; That does not happen at Empire Autohaus.

Alan and Karen truly are wonderful, genuine people who take pride in a job well done and always try to do the right thing. We have used them off and on for close to 8 years now for vehicles ranging from modern BMW E46 3 Series and Mazdaspeed MX5s to classics such as our MGB GT V8 and Fiat Spyder. The staff is always courteous and forthcoming with detailed information regarding the repair work they perform and the costs for the services and parts.
