As good as it was 5 years ago! My nephew devoured the Thanksgiving Sandwich. Said it was delicious and filling. Of course, I happily ate the Basil Veggie Sandwich. Not to crowded, which was nice.

The people working here are always super nice and the food is amazing! The wait is never more than 10 minutes. I recommend the Mexican Omelette if you like jalapeños (what I always get). I hate eggs but this place makes me think twice! 10/10 recommend 🍳

Food Always Done RIGHT ✅ & Fast💪

Reviewing a location based on a single visit is never something I like to do, but I was waiting on a glass of orange juice for 25 minutes, at least. I dont know if they have to peel every orange by hand and make the ice fresh or not, but its not okay to watch a few dozen people come in, get their orders, and leave while waiting for one glass of juice. They did attempt to make it right with a refund though, and their staff was friendly, if a little awkward. Not likely to ever come back, but at least they tried.

I luv their oreo cheesecake,and their pumpkin cheesecake.its a nice and quiet place to eat,and I recommend it.

I love this place! They made fresh bread and desert everyday. They have sidewalk tables if you want to enjoy the weather, inside sitting area is huge.Clean and spacious. Food is good and staff are courteous.

Its a hidden cafe away from old town Pasadena. The bread is exceptional, and they even have table service for your sandwich if youre staying.We go here for the breakfast sandwiches, burritos especially, and the classic eggs and bacon. They have plenty of seating and internet. I wish the chairs and tables were a bit more comfortable.A caution: aside from their pastries, it takes several minutes to get any made to order ; its not a place for an in-and-out snack other than pastries.There is a little parking in front on the street, but its not long enough if you want to set up shop at one of the tables.

Very cute. I had a nice fruit tart. It’s very open. It makes for a nice place after a meal when you want a little snack.

Ordered take out from Lovebirds Cafe a while back ago when the pandemic began ... they are open for dine in now and the food is so good !! I ordered the same thing as last time which was the egg white burrito and I couldnt finish the other half 😅 but its really good . I also got the Belgium waffle and the Horchata cold brew latte. you order first, then they give you a number and bring your food to you. 100% will come back with a friend.

The baked goods and coffee are really good. It can take a while for things to be prepared, but freshness is appreciated. I had to correct the cashier for the right amount of change, but thats at a lot of places, unfortunately. Employees are friendly and thoughtful, though, so it balances out!

Great Place to get a sandwich. I usually get a wild salmon, caper, onions, and light maya on sourdough or gluten free bread. Sometimes organic coffee, and a sugar free cookie. Ben and staff are great to order from on phone or live during the great reset. They follow all restrictions and social measures so you can be safe and grab a lunch and a little dessert!

Pleased. I got the French Dip and the au jus was 11/10. I would say though, they were a little light on the meat, but for the price and size of the sandwich, it was filling overall. Friendly staff and CoVid compliant facility !

Love this place! The bread is amazing! They bake their breads in house every day and they have a huge selection of flavors! and some fun pastries! I really enjoy their french connection sandwich and their Wild alaskan salmon sandwich that I get on Rye bread (but you can do a bagel). Open and airy interior, this place has exposed brick and high ceilings. Great location in downtown Pasadena.

They make excellent breakfast especially the breakfast burritos. The atmosphere is relaxing,calm and very appealing. It truly reminds me of the cafes I used to go in NYC. It doesn’t have the fancy and hipster atmosphere like most places have these days.

I got a breakfast burrito with ham and a tall black coffee. My partner got a cappuccino muffin. The breakfast burrito was very good, the black coffee tasted fresh, but the muffin was overall pretty average especially considering the price.

Lovebirds has been a local favorite for a long time and they recently revamped their interior with new tables and chairs as well as comfortable booths against the wall.I come in often and always get 2 or 3 cookies, a latte, and their Wild Alaskan Salmon sandwich on ciabatta. Always the total is under 20.Love this place and hope with the interior update more people populate it!

Been coming here for 5 months. The first month or two I really liked their chicken noodle soup (believe its homemade) chicken sandwich, pasta salad and everything bagel. I was getting the same thing for a while and it was good for the price and location. I wanted to try other items so I started getting the pastries/cookies. The first time I got a Palm Leaf and Almond Pastry and it was delicious. I went back on another occasion and got a Palm Leaf and Checker cookie, this time it tasted like a week old, like cardboard and had a weird smell to em. I went back to return the pastries, I asked if they bake em daily and counter lady said yes but I REALLY do not think they bake em daily. I think they bake em as they are sold which means on an unlucky day you will get stale disgusting pastries. Their chicken noodle soup seemed to have changed from what tasted like homemade to canned soup. You can tell because it had a thick yellow consistency to it versus that aromatic smell of fresh chicken noodle. I asked the counter lady if the yellow thick one is homemade, she said yes but again I REALLY dont think it is. I decided to give it another shot, got the leek soup one time and it tasted like just a cup of chicken stock. Writing this post so you know what to expect versus wasting your lunch time like I did.

The new coffee from Ground Works is cheap. Flavor terrible. The espresso is weak compared to Urth Cafe in Pasadena. The Italian coffee they used before was excellent. If they dont change the cook and the coffee soon they will be closing. Im telling everyone not to go there.

If youre in the mood for classic sandwiches and super yummy baked goods hit up Lovebirds! The staff is attentive but could be sightly friendlier. But I dont go for the staff, I go for the food 😊

Great Sandwiches! To be honest with you, I didnt get what I ordered but I got what I wanted. So, I am sure you can have just about anything on the menu and it will taste good. This helps for the times when you are indecisive and just want something tasty to eat.

Half-portion shredded chicken Caesar was adequate as a meal and tasted great (I think adding a cup of soup would have been a good addition. Next time.). Day two: Delicious French Dip. Ill visit again the next time Im in Pasadena!

Great find. I stayed at a hotel across the street but came every morning for a week. Big menu and not too crowded.

Not a good place after noon. There was a skeleton crew working there, not the best service. I asked for a few items off my sandwich and they brought it to me with everything I didn’t want on it. I’m sure this place is better in the morning, seeing as how they close at 3pm.

Tuna sandwich was very good, as was the garden salad. And unlimited refills on fresh brewed tea. Helpful service even past closing time.

I was a little disappointed there were no birds. I was left a little confused. Great sandwich though. Note to managment. Get a parrot or something.

I love this bakery for their tarts and croissants. Their coffee is mediocre but if you need a quick caffeine fix, it will do. The prices are reasonable and they will give you samples. Customer service is eh but if you catch them on a good day, youre in luck.

Foods decent. Wait was too long quoted a 15 minute wait over the phone took 37 minutes to receive my order.

No one came around to see how the food was, they served me burned toast,and sausage, the tea I ordered was to hot Im still waiting to drink it. The food wasnt all that good dont waste your time at this place.

Been a few times and enjoyed a coffee and pastry. Ordered a soup and sandwich - will not order cream of broccoli again . . . ever, but the sandwich was fine. Fresh bread, lettuce, tomatoes. Service was excellent. Tables are small and 2 out of 3 times sat at one which was not balanced. I will return.

I like their specialty menu but its no fun when they run out of their own specialty menu ingredients. Not particularly thrilled about their salads but their sandwiches/paninis are good and stacked. Desserts look good but have yet to try any.

Sadly this used to have freely sliced meats for sandwiches that were pulled high however the last turkey sandwich was gross luncheon meat that was several days old. Im not sure if they are having financial issues or what but that isnt relevant

Prices are reasonable and worth it. Get a simple ham and swiss on a crossiant and its delicious every time. Can get a bit busy and parking isnt the greatest but a to go bag is just perfect.

Spacious, fast, friendly waitstaff. Sandwiches are great. Breakfast pastrys hit and miss.

It literally just took 15 minutes to put 8 bagels in a bag and there was nobody else in line. They warmed them up and cut them without asking and then individually wrapped them, wasting a huge amount of packaging.
