Value is great. Espresso is $3, which seems to be getting rarer these days. Beans are also in the $18 range for 1 lb, which is actually pretty good. They have a lot of options and also make custom blends for local cafes. They have a featured coffee bag that is discounted in their store - they dont have it online so I think theyre the last of the bags for that coffee (this time, it was a Nicaraguan!).They dont offer sparkling water with their espresso, which was surprising (but they sell some). The espresso blend they use is their JC Espresso, which is intense but floral and light at the same time. They have options for their drip. This time was their dark Madison blend but they also had a medium Colombian on rotation, which I got. It was bright...but thats about it. For $1.70 for 8 oz and under $3 for 16 oz, its a cheap and high quality coffee option. It looks like they might give you a free cup of drip with the purchase of beans, though they dont advertise that. Latte prices are about $5 with all the works, so pretty typical prices and good quality. They only have outdoor seating, but plenty of it. It seems to be a popular place so there may be a line, but service is very fast. They only have to-go coffee options currently.Overall, I would buy from them again to try their other bean options, but I felt that in-person service was a bit atypical or rushed and I didnt feel like I could talk to the baristas about coffee (but I went on a Saturday morning). (Tl;dr good roaster, okay cafe)

Want great coffee and a safe, comfortable atmosphere? Go to Jones. Their outdoor seating is shaded with plenty of spaced seating and the indoors is also spacious and open (literally, the entrance is wide open to the seating). Nice and seemingly experienced baristas. Take advantage of Pasadena weather and bike/walk here.

Sadly, they didnt have nitro cold brew but I ordered drip coffee and the flavor was interesting and pretty balanced. Not the best cup of coffee Ive had but for sure not the worst, it was just ok. Carrot muffin was pretty good too, not too sweet and had extra cinnamon in it.Cashiers were friendly. The atmosphere there is very cozy and they had a musician playing outside. I would certainly suggest to try it out.

Great coffee.Good pastries. This is a nice place to enjoy a morning cup of brew. The atmosphere is awesome. With plenty of indoor and some outdoor seating. Also many blends of coffee sold by the bag which they can grind for you there or you can grind at home. Easy access from metro gold line (fillmore stop). The staff is friendly. Had a great experience at Jones Coffee Roasters today. Parking is a little packed, but there are spots along the street—this place is worth the brief stroll! This is the kind of place you want to spend your coffee break. Great atmosphere, friendly patrons and staff, and tasty brews and bites.I ordered an oat milk cappuccino, and a “homemade” pop tart. Both were very tasty, and enjoyed along the veranda that runs in front of the pizza spot next door. Bathrooms were also clean (the one I went in to), and out of view of “prying” eyes if you’re the kind of person who hates knowing people can see them walking into a restroom.Matthew at the register was extremely accommodating and took a moment to have a conversation instead of just trying to rush me through. Can’t wait to come back, and will be telling friends and family to check this place out!

This coffee shop absolutely goes the extra mile for its patrons. Of course it has cool seating to lounge with your expertly made espresso (seating you can use once Covid is in the rear view mirror). Sure it roasts the beans. But Jones roasts coffee from Finca dos Marias, the family estate in the highlands of Guatamala. This estate has been in the family since the mid-1870s.Outta this world coffee.

This venue takes the prize for the most comfortable, diverse and pragmatic space to enjoy coffee. The selection of coffees on hand to be prepared was slim, yet the preparation was top notch. If you want a place to enjoy premium coffee and comfortable seating arrangements, this is your go to spot. If you are looking at more of the Avocado toast, minimalist scent, this ain’t your space. I definitely will return to enjoy this space more and more. I would like to award 5 stars, if the choices included a wider array of espressos

Parking is a little tight here so we decided to park outside in the curb. Oh man, while we were walking up you could smell the coffee brewing it smelled delicious. My sister got an Iced Espresso and I ended up getting an Iced Americano. After our experience in the morning we decided to get them without anything! LOL. We also got a tamal each, turns out on Fridays they sell tamales. By the time we got here they only had green chicken tomatillo and pork red sauce. The green was good, nice and spicy!

I finally went up to get my coffee and saw the coffee and asked if it was the one I got. Sarcastically she said yes.. Thank you... (At least sarcastic from my interpretation). I used their sugar and spoon that they have on the table where they make the coffee from since it was my first time and I wasnt aware there was a condiment section. They couldve also at least pointed me to the condiment section..
