Had a problem with a new Husky RV hitch so I called the place where I bought the RV and they recommended Discount because I was in Pasadena. Went over and they not only fixed my problem but noticed another issue I was having and fixed that as well. Said no charge, just come back if we can ever help you again. A great place to get a receiver hitch installed they even did me a favor by moving my 7 point trailer connector out to my bumper, and this is no fault of their own but I had A short in my Right brake light I had fixed I didnt know how I fixed it apparently it has a short somewhere in a wire LI just happen to push it out of the way and it worked perfectly for about 8 months and when they moved my trailer connector they move the wire and now I have to look for the bed wire again. Lesson here is I should have found where the short was the 1st time and not just been satisfied with pushing it out of the way and since it wasnt shorting out trying to find it And fix it. I am a totally happy customer.I ordered a gooseneck to 5th wheel hitch on line and received a call the next day from Nik, who wanted to let me know the item I ordered was out of stock until the next shipment, which was expected in 2 weeks. I was given the opportunity to cancel my order or I could wait. Had a brake control model go out. Alex was a big help. Had the brake controler tested and found out it was bad. Alex suggested a wireless brake controler that connect to my phone by bue tooth. I was skeptial. It works great! It can be programmed for several different vehicles and store the profiles. Thanks! They were even cheaper than Amazon for the module.

Great Service! Called on a Friday and had hitch installed the next day(Saturday) which worked great for my company vehicle. They did everything that was promised all while seeming very appreciative to have my business. Definitely recommend.

Owners were on site and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me while I asked 50 questions. I did leave without buying anything at first to make sure I wasnt getting ripped off and once I got home I researched prices online with other companies and boy oh boy those other places were pretty high compared to Discount Hitch!!! He was very polite and knowing of what work I wanted, Steve double checked that they had everything in stock before I drove to Pasadena. I was quoted the price and estimated time to complete the work, the price out the door was lower than I was quoted & I was told it would take 1.5 hours to complete the work. I was extremely impressed by their work & professionalism and they had my truck done in 28 minutes..... I highly recommend this place, & I will continue to give them my business & recommend people to them.

Arrived at 10 am today to have a set of Rocker Guards and a Leveling Kit added to my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. The manager let me know that it would be $125 per hour and would take a couple of hours. Knowing full well that it could stretch to 3 hours, I was willing to take that chance to get all of the work done. When I returned after personally calling at the 2:45 mark, I was told that the Rocker Guards could not be installed due to the lack of a certain tool. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was told they worked on the Leveling Kit for 3 hours. I am no fool, this is clearly a 1 hour job with a professional garage. He quickly agreed to only charge me for 2 hours. So, for the 2 hours of workmanship that I originally expected, I got half of the job done. Awesome, Ill never return.

Had the most wonderful experience with Jerry we needed a hitch installed. My wife was refferd to a competitor by her friend. When she got there they told her it was 500 parts and labor I thought this is a little high so I called discount hitch spoke to Jerry he quoted me 229 parts and labor. I dropped my vehicle off and by the time I came back from lunch his crew had already installed a hitch and I was ready to go in less than an hour. I will definitely do all my business in the future with Jerry. Thank you Jerry and discount hitch crew I wish I could give a 10 star rating.

I called around to multiple discount hitch locations and this location is surprisingly higher than all their counterparts. They charge $150 an hour while the others are $125. With military discount I can get the $125 rate... I did not use their services, just rating based on the higher prices and lack of explanation.

Hector went out of his way after hours to pick up the hitch I needed. Went above and beyond and he has my highest recommendation.

They were good accept they dont have the Parts in the store. Having to wait 2 to 3 hours to have delivered. But the service was very good.

For a full week I was quoted a certain price for a class 3-4 hitch at the Pasadena location. We had talked about a weight distribution system, which the manager IMPLIED came with the hitch, and they KNEW that i had to have a certain class to pull a certain weight!!. Well, when i finally call to set the appointment to come and get it installed, all of a sudden my price went from $189 to PLUS $289 PLUS electrical. He said that he was sorry for the misunderstanding... There WAS NO MINSUNDERSTANDING. He led me to believe that it was 1 price and in actuality it was WAY more. Its probably one of those bait and switch techniques just to lure you to the store THEN give you the bad news so that you feel obligated. I knew these prices were too good to be true. CHEAP is NOT ALWAYS BEST. Go with a reputable company. These guys are a joke and will try to rip you off too!!!!!4/5/13

I went as they said they could put a hitch on my Jeep. After they did, they then informed me I had to go to the Jeep dealer to have it finished. I hadnt had much prior towing experience before starting my contacting business. When I bought a new trailer I was referred here to get a brake controler. I was ignorant enough to buy the cheapest one for $180 before doing any research. The price does include installation, but its a $40 part! I couldve easily done it myself, but it seemed like a deal at the time and I was tired from trying to find the trailer I wanted. Again, I made the mistake of being ignorant and unprepared. I just have to look at it as a learning experience.

I would have given 5 stars as the install of the 5th wheel was great and clean looking. Their delivery guy (not dh employee) was late on bringing in my airbags. So I went with a different shop that could do it the same day and was closer.

Even help me after I left, my truck shifter was not shifting cable broke they helped me shift the truck so I could get to mccdavide Nissan dealer . These guys went far and beyond to help me they are truly professionals you dont find to many shops like this one great place to get your truck fix right . Good place to buy rings for a truck

I purchase at hitch for my 08 Mazda CX-9 a year ago, hitch is fine.I traded my 08 Mazda for a 2015, accepts same hitch I look it up. I call this location for estimate to remove from 08 then installed for 2015, I was quoted for $120.Went to oil change shop on Richey st, only pay $20, took him 30 minutes.

Quick install and they made everything easy

I called the online sales on a Saturday and based on the estimate, waited until Monday to visit the store nearest me (which was closed Saturday) only to find that the estimate was worthless to the guys at the counter. They openly laughed at it, asked if it had come from a girl! Turns out the guy on the phone hadnt asked me enough questions to determine what fifth wheel rails I needed. Too bad for me, I guess.But for a little fun, call around to the various Discount Hitch stores, give them the exact same information and notice how different the estimates are. It appears that each store is incentivised to extract as much money from each conversation as possible. Buyer beware of this company.

Second, I have had nothing but problems with a bed mounted 7-way plug since the day I got it they want to charge me to check it out all because I didnt bring it to them in the first 90 days.
