Had wide spread outage in Paris Texas area, tech needed access to a pole on my property, had to have another truck pull him out and as they got it out they damaged my pasture gate and never stopped by house to report it. Called to talk to someone about it, got ahold of a lady that gave a bit of a run around, having to relay to her supervisor back and forth, but when I asked to speak to supervisor....he/she was unavailable, but did assure me she would send this issue up the ladder....not holding my breath waiting to hear back from someone
There automated customer support is terrible! Then you speak with a representative from another country, English is obviously their second language. After wasting countless hours trying to get an issue resolved, they schedule an appointment during work hours. Their product is over priced, their customer service a joke and their reliability is on par with a Yugo!! All for the cheep price of a Rolls Royce!! What a wonderful business model!!
The service is fairly expensive, $135 monthly for phone and internet. The service just drops out pretty frequently. It will restart if I reboot the modem or call the company but that is a pain in the neck. I am currently researching other options and cannot recommend the Suddenlink phone or internet services. My service location is in Paris, TX.
Ive had their service for 9 days. I pay $48 a month for 150mbps. This morning I was reaching the lightning fast speeds of 0.15mbps. After rebooting the modem/router didnt work, I gave them a call. The automated help is a ridiculous waste of time. When I finally get someone on the phone, they tell me a technician will be available as early as NEXT Tuesday. I work from home a lot. I am a person in 2021 who uses internet a lot. Its crazy that a business as big as Suddenlink has so few workers, and retaining a brand new customer is so low on their list of priorities. If AT&T Fiber is available in your area STEER CLEAR OF SUDDENLINK. If a mom and pop telephone company is available in your area STEER CLEAR OF SUDDENLINK. Unfortunately for me, AT&T only has broadband where I am now, so the fastest speeds they can offer would be around 5mbps. Still faster than Suddenlink, and cheaper too.
No one answers the phone. Its all recordings and pushing buttons. Sometimes you need to speak to a live human being. My problem is still not resolved. They build my dead sister for a month of service then it had been cut off by my request. I sure would like to get that money back.
The worst customer service ever, long hold times, frequently transferred, repeatedly asked for the same information, hung up on, promises of call backs that do not happen, unexpected charges on your bill, how does a company this poorly run stay on business?

This nightmare started on November 6th. I received a flyer from Sudden Link. I shouldve known it was to good to be true. When I spoke to the representative she recommended Altice Mobile service, made it sound like it was such a good deal. Again I shouldve known it was to good to be true. I, change my mind about the service because I got bad vibes about both companies. Boy was I right! I cancelled the services the next day. When I received the mobile phone I returned the phone the next day. They debited my account. I have not yet received a refund from Suddenlink. I have called them numerous times in regards to this matter, repeatedly been hung up on. Im still receiveing Bills through my Email address. Today 12-29-20 I get Email saying Im past due and they will report me to the credit bureau. I called, asked to speak with a superisor. Their representatives refused to let me speak to one or give me their location tho it sounds like they are overseas. I dont, never did have service with either company. Sudden link or Atice Mobile.

My remote stopped working over the weekend so I brought it to the office to trade it in, only to find a sign on the door that they are temporarily closed. No mention of when they may be reopened. I called the company and after a long process of pressing numers for my selections, I was connected with someone with a accent so strong I had to have her repeat herself several times. I was told they could send me another remote, but I would be charged a fee, and it may not arrive for two weeks. I asked if they could just have a service person run one by my house, and again they said I would be charged for a service call. I asked to speak to her supervisor and conveniently they werent available and I was told to call back in a couple of hours. Ive been a customer since they came to Paris, but today I am looking at other options for my cable and internet services.
Quite possibly the most dishonest and corrupt internet provider in town but since they are the most widely available in town they sure let you know it. Had to canceled service a few years ago and they continued to charge me after the cancel date I told them they told me they would take care of it. I called later to confirm and they told me it was gone. Fast forward to now and Im back to a place where they are available and they are still trying to charge me and refuse to take it off since it has been a few years. If you have any company available to you other than these guys I would strongly suggest you use those.
Prices keep going up. Without internet for 2 weeks, call every other day to get my 600 and 900 channels turned on that I pay for in last 4 months. Call n always talk to computer. Over all piss poor customerService. Second time Ive tried use your service. Im not very happy with sudden link. Plus the bill has doubled.
Takes advantage of people, over charges people on their bill,when your told it would be a set price.
I have called this place over in over and over again for my mom and a steel will not return my phone calls and if they do come after the fix it they tell their can do one thing at a time where they could get more money for them to come out there each time they come
Run, run, run!The staff in the Paris location have been cordial and as helpful as their terrible company allows them to be. If you can afford another company, go somewhere else. This is one of the worst-managed companies Ive ever dealt with. Youre on hold for an hour, easy. Its almost impossible to get a phone rep in the U.S. If you choose for them to call you back due to the extended hold time, you may get a call back in a few days, not a couple of hours when they said you would. I have gotten one correct bill out of the five months Ive had service with them. I could go on and on about the various issues, but Ill spare you. Save yourself a lot of wasted time and headache and go with another company if you can.
Tried to let them know that my 92 year old mother’s phone was not working and was told by one of their employees that they DID NOT CARE . So we had phone service disconnected and if i can ever get a tech out here we are disconnecting TV service disconnected, Have already been lied to about what time the tech was supposed to be here.🤬 Would NOT recommend them for any kind of service. THIER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!
Poor customer service. It sounds like they do not to listen to you, put you on mute and does talk back even if you are trying to talk to them in a calm manner! They also increase your fee with no additional service! Worst provider I have ever had! 1 star just so I can post this!

Really terrible customer service. A bit more expensive than the competition, for the same speeds.Reliability is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. It is NEVER consistent, frequenting from pretty good to being god awful 90% of the time. Slow speeds, intermittent connections, high packet loss, faulty equipment, and way too expensive maintenance.Sometimes youre better off just doing everything with your mobile hotspot. Its at least more consistent.

Been out of WiFi for 2 weeks after power/cable lines fell then called Suddenlink as soon as power was restored and set date for them to fix cable wire which was set 7 days after I called the set time for repair was for 2-5pm and they didn’t show. I called them at 4:40pm and was placed on hold until they closed at 5:30pm which then ended call. Guess they just didn’t feel like showing up.And they still making me pay the whole bill for a months worth of service when in reality I only had service for 1 week out of the month. Good job suddenlink. Smh

So suddenlink was supposed to be here 8-11 am its 12:30 no call no show i have to go get my kids from school soon if they dont show im moving companies tell me who yall use. Ive had trouble with suddenlink from the first month getting them. My bill is never right, my internet turns on n off all the time, n now they dont even let you know their going to be late or not come at all !!

Prices are way too high. They start out ok then add on fees after fees and the internet speed isn’t any good either.
Have had intermittent service issues for months, called and even went to office. Last service “technician” that came out drove up, got out of truck walked around for a few minutes and got back in truck and left. Cable cuts out, internet drops several times a day. Didn’t mind the price but I am currently looking for other options.
My husband and I service is limited even though we pay for the sports package and HD channels. On our second Tv they said there was nothing they could do about us not getting HD channels. Plus we have constant digital interruption on lower channels. Now my internet speed is slow and I can no longer use my smart tv apps To watch movies on Netflix, Hulu YouTube and others. I’m shopping for a new cable and internet company. Any suggestions for Paris, TX. Thanks frustrated customer.
At the moment is the only high speed internet service in the area. Only use internet services now, dropped all TV. When I had TV service I didnt like it nearly as much a Direct TV. I havent had many issues with the the service, it has been mostly reliable with multiple streaming devices, including gaming, happening in my household.
The change over is not going good I think if they would of had one line for the ones that didnt have problems with there bills it took me almost and hour to make my payment it may help
Poor service for $$$$ most friends talk to say that they always experience internet connection problems with suddenlink saying it was the city problem not maintaining or clearing. AT&T is best, sudden link is blah,get dish, Paris never fixes anything till its too late
I cancelled my service and turned in my equipment two days before my bill was due but Suddenlink continued to charge me $152.00 for service I was no longer receiving. I called to ask why and the representative spoke fluent gibberish. She also said Suddenlink would charge me another $180.00 next month for service not received but not to worry because that would be my final bill. Warning, this is what happens when you leave Suddenlink. Best never to have it in the first place. At least, when I left Direct TV, they sent me a refund in the form of a prepaid credit card. I have Dish Network now and have found their service and prices superior to Direct TV and especially Suddenlink, the most dishonest company I have ever had to deal with.

Telephone and internet service interrupted days ago. Personnel told me numerous time to go online to fix. Perhaps mentally challenged personnel all the way up. Internet service not working, that is what I am calling about! Schedules repair and no show by Suddenlink.
The person who helped me was not straightforward about fees until after my credit was checked. I ended up leaving and signing up online. I saved over $100 by signing up on the website for the same service I was going to get in the store.

The staff in there office are always super nice and accommodating but they really cant make me understand why my bill continues to go up each month and the internet doesnt improve any.
Great customer service both in store and phone.The technician who installed my new service was beyond great. I had problems with cable channels when It started to rain couple hours after he left. Not long after he called to check that everything was still working good not affected by rain. Came back few hours later fixed everything getting muddy and very wet. But what impressed me most was when he removed his muddy boots at my door. My house was in total mess we were just moving in while making repairs. He just moved around everything.

Very expensive, channels freeze up sometimes, telephone service is bad, wifi goes out alot. There is no other cable company here so I pay for it. All good channels were taken off an replaced with Spanish channels.

Dont waste your money. We pay 100$ a month, new wiring, new modem/router only to get 2.5 mbps download and 140 latency/ping. I only want to be able to play Xbox online with friends but apparently suddenlink doesnt have the time to upgrade my neighborhoods Internet experience.We had a serviceman out 2 or 3 days in one week and ran wire straight from the pole outside to the modem and still its garbage. Get something else if you dont want to throw your time and money away. Also, im in the Reno area. Maybe if you live in a rich neighborhood like the Hills or Oak Creek (like a friend of mine does), then just maybe youll get some decent service.
