If I read those reviews before I would never use this company. $14000 for two windows. (See the picture that after they installed the new window). After one week of install the windows. It caused My roof leaking. Contact them right way, they sent the local installer after one week. The installers did some patch job and told us they are not suppose to touch roof. Contact our sales person JAMES, told us we have to wait and see ?if the roof is leaking again. (Trying to kick us to other person “ the installation manager”)???? If I could, I would like to return the windows. Forget about the 10 years warranty and customer service. They can’t not even do windows job properly.
Still waiting on Jason to respond. We gave him a check as deposit, told us he would dispose of it after asking if we could use a credit card instead, well he didn’t. He deposited it, it bounced, we got charged overdraft fee. Told us via email he would send his personal money as it was his own fault (admitted it). Told us he would tell the company, he didn’t, as they tried to redeposit the check and got hit with an additional fee (now totaling 2). He said that was on the company, but we’re still waiting months for any indication that we’re going to recover that. Also Jason never followed up. Multiple times, in his sales speech, said he would. He didn’t. We have a ripped screen, which we told him about during installation that has yet to be addressed. Still no answer, again, months later. Have all documentation. Will have to go a different direction for assistance.Edit: pending!
Had a surprisingly very positive experience here. This is a showroom - no salespeople, so they are not salesy and there’s no pressure. You can browse to your hearts delight, no appointment required. Definitely going with pella.
Stay away from this company especially the Paramus store these people are crooks and love to harass senior citizens. I canceled an order but they still have it on the books and they’re trying to intimidate me into going through with the job even though there was never any money exchanged I already had to contact my attorney
I couldnt be happier with my new bay window. The sales rep was great to work with and very thorough. The window is just as I had imagined - blended perfectly with my knotty pine walls. The installation team was efficient and professional. I have since ordered other windows for this old house and cant wait for them to arrive.
Store is closed. Drove an hour to get there based on the advertised hours. Locked with a sign to visit other locations.
VERY EXPENSIVE! Each window came to $2300. when the total of $32,000 was divided out. Insane! I thought Anderson at $2000. per window was bad! & they use wood, not Fibrex material which lasts longer. No is the answer.
Pella was amazing: they came promptly to give me an estimate, and soon after that, I got my appointment. I had to wait a while, a month, but that was okay. Quality of product, quality of care, quality of Pella technician. (The only thing I think needs tweaking is how they contact you through out the month to make sure you know they havent forgot...I could not call them back with ease). I AM SOLD ON PELLA!
The representative explained how the windows are made the price was was great also. The installers where excellent left no mess.
I called both Pella and their largest competitor, the one that advertises constantly for windows. Pella responded promptly, and sent out Jason Rouse to do a site visit. He was professional, VERY knowledgeable, helped me tremendously with a lot of decisions, and NEVER pressured me to buy. The competitor sent no one, despite repeated calls, insisting instead to just talk over the phone, which i was not interested in. Jason stayed with the entire process from beginning to end, keeping me informed as to status, checking on how things were going, visiting to ensure the install went smoothly. Perhaps these windows are more expensive, but they are beautiful, surpassing what i expected, and i have already seen the impact on my heating bill (reduction!). I would never consider another brand after this experience. If you value service, and quality, and prefer a vendor who is an expert consultant rather than a salesperson pressuring you to buy what they want to sell, then call Jason. I could not be happier with this product. And i am not an easy customer to please.
Jason Rouse recently met with us to discuss replacing the 26 windows in our townhouse. He was extremely knowledgable and pleasant. He answered all of our questions clearly. He did not pressure us to purchase immediately but explained succinctly why it would be in our best interest to replace our windows now, rather than do some of them now and some later. In short, our experience with Jason was excellent.
I recently had a large picture window replaced by Pella. I was completely satisfied with the experience, from the initial phone call to the installation. No hassles just reliable support and service.
The whole experience with the Pella group was outstanding. Bill Padgett our sales rep did a great job coordinating the sale and the install of the windows. Brian and his install team were clean, professional and fast. I would highly recommend Pella for a fantastic window experience.
Very impressed with the experience! The salesman Jason Rouse was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products. Will definitely be calling him again when needed!
I met Pella representative Jason Rouse at the Orange County Home Show. He visited our house and gave us a through and knowledgable explanation of the products and options. We were pleased with all our interactions with Jason. Now on to installation.
Bill Padgett was our sales rep. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Pella windows and got us a good deal. We highly recommend him!
I recently had 9 windows installed at my home in Bergen County and had an outstanding experience working with the Pella folks. This is a fully customized product, which was not clear to me until I began working with my salesman and designing each window (and one door). For example, in the entrance area, we selected a golden oak finish for the two windows in order to match the moulding around the doors and baseboard. Elsewhere throughout the house the windows were white on the inside and red-brick on the outside to match the tapestry brick facade. The door to the backyard was white on the inside, brown on the outside to match my neighbors door as my home is one of four townhouses. The crew which installed the windows were remarkable, courteous workers. They put down clean drop cloths throughout the house each day and removed them when the day was done. They worked behind a plastic enclosure to reduce dust and exposure to lead paint found in the window jams. They worked with great poise to reach the second floor by climbing two ladders (remarkably NO SCAFFOLDING NEEDED!!) and finished the trim neatly. What a remarkable crew! Finally, I successfully worked with my salesman to address an issue that arose with the door to the backyard. We learned that the door was oversized for the opening, in part due to the tricky frame around the existing door, which is adjacent to blue stone. It became apparent that conventional framing principles were not applicable (the house was built in 1931) when the workers began removing the old moulding around the door and found a 1-inch cement overage was part of the door frame. I attribute the success of the project to a combination of the integrity of the product and a client-focused sales approach.
Low staff. Made selecting windows too complicated.
They outsource installation to local installers. Find local door/windows carpenter and save money on installation. Advisers tell one thing and installer tell other - place is a mess. Pella makes great doors though
Sales representative was very good .Ordering process and the scheduling of delivery were handled very professionally.Installation team was excellent and the work was done in a very systematic manner. Cleanliness was maintained.Overall work from beginning to end was very professional and systematic.
BEWARE: We bought a door with a lifetime warranty, the claim starts 7 years after the purchase in November 2017. After many calls, the inspector that came to check the door said it was not repairable that it had to be replaced. After this we had to wait until April 2018 when they came with a door that was not the door that we paid for but a very inferior door with a very inferior glass that already stopped attracting attention. When changing the lock of the old door to the new door they broke the lock and the employees said that we better not use the lock on the outside because we could get stuck, that we could only use it inside. That led us to call a professional locksmith to put another lock to get out when we needed. Pellas service employees said they would notify us when the new lock would arrive. That notice took three months, when the new lock came, a new employee changed it and it turns out that the lock in the door only closes from the inside but does not close from the outside. And with that we want to warn all the people to think well before buying Pella. If it were for me I would not give it a star because the service is terrible. This is the most expensive type of door that Pella has with a lifetime warranty, they gave us whatever they want as long as it is much cheaper that what we paid for. When they replaced it 7 years later they broke the lock and they left us again locked inside our own house and they do not care. When they are called, they say that they are going to send someone but nobody ever appears, yet we are still in this tragedy since November of the year 2017 being that we are two old people, we realize that they are abusing us in an incredible way. Pellas warranty for life is a game, there is no warranty since the products with which it is replaced may be not worth half of what you paid and on top of that the locksmiths they send do not know how to do the work. Nobody puts a new lock without trying it and see if it opens and closes inside and outside with the key that comes with the lock. Looking from outside the door now it looks like a prison with so many locks: the two of them that do not work and the one that we put higher up. And inside they left two holes in the door because the original lock was different from the one that they replaced it with. Now the one that they replaced is completely different and of very inferior quality. Do not buy Pella, I have to give them one star because you can not give any less. But I repeat again do not buy Pella, read well what the warranty says.
Great staff with awesome prices !
Excellent very professional
Terrible customer service. 3 months and counting waiting for a price
Great products and installation
The windows take 3-6 times longer to arrive than promised (depending on the kind). I understand supply chain issues were real but astonishingly bad communications made it all infinitely worse. We spent an absolutely fortune as well and they just could not be bothered to call us back or update us. Meanwhile, all other work was stalled and severely compromised.
