I had made a few calls to have my car looked at at different places but either no one would return a call or couldnt see me right way. I found Midlands Auto Repair. They got me in right away. Apparently, I had a few things going on with my car. I ended up with a tune-up being done for now. I was given a clear option to do some of the other work at a later date since they werent as urgently needed. Generally, I feel pressured to get all of the work done immediately causing a major stress on my finances. I really appreciated this breakdown of information. The whole process was was great. I got text messages throughout the day showing pictures and descriptions of what the mechanic was seeing and what the diagnostics findings were. Everything was very clear and concise. Absolutely, loved being able to have that information in real time because it helped me make a better decisions about what I actually needed to get fixed on my car instead of hoping I was being told the correct information as in the traditional way of taking your car in for service. The staff was friendly and I will definitely go back to Midlands Auto Repair to get the rest of the work done. I dont know how I could go back to any other mechanic that didnt use the text messaging system because I feel as though I was there at the shop looking at everything myself - it was just pretty amazing.

I previously used Midlands Auto Repair but transitioned to a local dealership when I purchased a new car while it was under warranty. As weird as it sounds, I was happy when my warranty expired recently on my Nissan so I could transition back to Midlands. They took care of my car today and provided exceptional, transparent, and fair priced service on my car. I am glad to be back at Midlands Auto again.

Ive been taking my cars to Midlands for a couple years now and have had a great experience. They are very thorough, transparent and they do good work. I like that they do a full inspection of your car and list out what needs attention immediately, needs future attention, and what is in good condition. It gives you the ability to better plan for future maintenance and they do a good job of explaining why theyre recommending each repair item. You dont have to choose to complete anything but what you came in for (usually an oil change for me) and they arent pushy at all. Highly recommend. I drive all the way across town to use them!

She may not look like much but I rely on this ol truck to help me feed my family. When it’s down it makes working much more difficult. I have a large family of 8 and these guy at Midlands never let me down. Zach is who I trust with keeping my trucks running right . Travis always makes sure I pay a fair price and helps me even when I call him frantic ! I can’t stress enough how awesome they are to me, my family, and our family business ! I came to Midlands with a blown engine. I have an unusual vehicle, a Type 82 VW, it was a challenge to find an engine for it. They did a grreat job finding one, and once it arrived installed it in a timely manner including some custom fit issues. They did an excellent job, attention to detail, and they listen to customer needs. As a veteran, it was a nice bonus to give my business to a veteran owned company. I would recommend them, and would definetely use them again.

Excellent service from just having them do a thorough inspection to detail any areas needing repairs through the entire process of having them fix all that was needing done. They made me feel comfortable in talking to them about my vehicle and what Im experiencing with it and provided excellent feedback and answers that were at a level I could comprehend since I am not mechanically inclined. I have never experienced such great customer service from any repair shop prior to this. The most detailed inspection with pictures they send via text with a complete personal vehicle breakdown so you truly know whats wrong and can see the repairs needing done. Unbelievable service and exceptional people working there. I couldnt be more impressed and satisfied with my entire experience. I look forward to coming back to them for their thorough honest inspections all the way to the warranty backed service and repairs they provide.

I purchased a 2004 Audi which had been sitting for a while, it needed lots of work. Most shops won’t even work on them because they’re German and hard to work on but midlands does and they do a great job. They’ve replaced the clutch, multiple vacuum hoses and fixed plenty of electrical issues for me and for a good price. The car now runs and drives like brand new. Eric in particular is very skilled and has always found the issues right away on my car and fixed them. Strongly recommend!

I have had my car worked on by them twice, both times I was in dire need. They were able to squeeze me in and repair my car getting me back on with my life with minimal inconveniences. Midlands does an exceptional job assessing the vehicle. We didn’t have a check engine light but knew the engine was running rough making noises. They are honest and fair pricing. Immediately helped identify a engine failure that is being covered by our warranty with a dealership. Safe location and excellent timely communication.

Im always very pleased with the friendliness and service Im given from the moment I make my appointment up until I leave. I had rain guards installed which I struggled to do on my own. The employees are always friendly, willing to accommodate me and explain the service the was performed.

We are very impressed with how they do things at Midlands. They take care of their customers and respect their timelines and budgets. I especially like how they send you a detailed report with photos. This makes it impossible for them to be dishonest just to make more money, because you can see for yourself what they are inspecting and recommending. I’ve never had a mechanic do that for me. We are glad we found Midlands.

Midland Auto Repair was above & beyond amazing! We brought in an older vehicle with deep sentimental attachment & they were very blunt with us on how much everything would cost; they did a full inspection and all in all did right by us. We didnt end up utilizing their services this time; however because of how our situation was handled, they will get our business in the future.

Midlands is the best car place in Papillion. I have taken my cars here since moving to Papillion in 2018 and today they not only squeezed me in for a much needed oil change but also got my drivers side window rolled back & didnt change me. Its an electrical issue which will require the panel to come off but they are fabulous at what they do and have excellent customer service. Highly recommend them for all your car needs. It may take a but for your repair to be writen up if ya get squeezed in.

I noticed my son’s car began to have an audible clicking noise in the steering wheel. So we decided to take it back to the dealer we bought it from to have it looked at. They told us the whole steering column needed to replaced and it would cost $2199. We decided to get a second opinion so we took it to Midlands... they discovered we had a service bulletin for the problem and if we take to a Hyundai dealership it would be fixed free of charge. Also, if they were to fix this issue it would have only been $265. One trait I truly value is honesty and this place is all about putting the customer first. Thank you!

Super friendly, super fast! I dropped my truck off without an appointment on a sunday, was in no rush to get it back but they had it done Tuesday morning. Staff is exceptional and very thorough, really appreciate the work the work by the whole team. I typically do my own work whenever possible but will not hesitate to take my vehicles back to Midlands.

This auto shop has an amazing very nice staff. They let me borrow their own personal charging cord while I was there and even gave me a ride home while their loaner car was out and also picked me up when my car was finished. Amazing customer service and great work ethic everything was finished very quickly.

I had a tough situation where the truck wouldnt start but the battery tested good. These guys spent a ton of time troubleshooting exactly was was wrong with my truck and did their very best to only replace the defective part. Im impressed with the level of effort these guys put in to make sure my vehicle was working and would not have issues going forward. These guys have earned themselves a new customer with me.

I was helping my friend who had car issues get to/from here. She needed a clip for her headlight. They ordered the part for her. All well and good so far, but the wrong part was shipped. It would have been fine had they contacted her about it, but it took her calling them several days later for them to tell her. Then, when they had the correct part she came in for the repair... but they misplaced it. So she had to come back again. The third time was the charm, but I know that I wont use this place.

We have taken several family vehicles to this location over the past years. They are close and do a great job. Have never had a problem with any service work performed. If you are ready the review and worried they might be one of those auto repair shops, they arent. Ive never had any pressure to perform a service. I love the quotes that include the final price. They also send inspection reports with pictures of problem area. Weve had them replace most fluids, theyve fixed wheel bearings, replaced an engine. I have a prius an they did recommend having the starter battery replaced. Because of the location and difficulty it was something they said they didnt do. I appreciate statements like that. (I should have done immediately and not waited weeks and needing a tow).Followups May 2020. We continue to use their services. Most recent major repair was shock/strut replacement

I have been using Midlands since 2009 and have gotten excellent service. They have saved me a ton of money by showing what needed to be fixed now, what will need to be fixed in the future so I could plan for fixing it in the future and what might be a small problem, but was not worth fixing. I highly recommend Midlands to anyone that doesnt want to be ripped off.

My 82 YO father paid $2000 to have an oil leak fixed in his Cadillac, still leaked as much after the so called repairs. We took it to a the Cadillac dealer to have it fixed properly. I believe he took advantage of a vulnerable adult.

Most inconvenient experience ever. my vehicle was there for good part of week and felt I was getting a run around from the front desk man and owner. The tires were not even inflated to proper psi and fluids were never even looked at!

Great place! Midlands has always been and will always be the place my family and I take our vehicles!

They gave me red antifreeze then told me the wierd leak I was having that was red was transmission fluid. I went to Bauer Built for a new tire and they looked at it and informed me that it was a loose hose on my radiator reservoir and was infact antifreeze.Slimy stuff going down in this place.

I hit a pothole due to trying to avoid a snowplow which caused a huge bubble in my tire. I went to midlands from a friends referral and they had me in and out in no time and everyone there was really nice. A day earlier Took my truck in to have a front wheel alignment. It was going straight down the road when I took it in which I informed Owner Ray Leblanc. We talked about price and he said if it was a full alignment it woud be approx. $79.00. If not a full alignment, it would be a bit less. I paid $59.00. The next day durring the alignment I received a call from the shop to inform me my brake lights on the drivers side did not work and it would cost me $90.00 to repair. This was an upsale tactic. Since I was just down the block I drove to the shop only to find my entire tail light fixture off without asking form my permission first if I wanted it fixed. The next day I took the truck back and he accused me of trying to get something for nothing and asked me what I do and I told him it was none of his business. It now pulls to the right which I informed him and said he realign my front end put it back where it was before he touched it. Guess they dont guarantee their work.Before I talked to Ray, his service manager informed me Ray was not in, he was at the Chiropractor. When Ray arrived, he was very angry that I pulled him away as he said his grandmother died. I told him I was sorry to hear that.This same day, before I spoke to Ray, I had my car in their shop to have the spark plugs changed. The service manager told me the mechanic took out all 6 plugs and informed me the plugs were fine but I had an oil leak and it would cost $600.00 to repair. When I arrived at the shop the mechanic told me he had only taken out 3 plugs. He showed me what he believed was an oil leak as Ray took me back there to show me also when he arrived. It may have looked like an oil leak to them but I knew it was Purple Power engine wash I never completely rinsed off my engine. We went back to the office and the converstation soured so I was going back to the shop to get my car. I attempted to go through the swinging door and was stopped by Ray who said youre not going anywhere, I said you dont tell me what to do..He was yelling and very angry and said you are going to pay to have your plugs checked even though they did not change any and only checked 3 plugs. So, I ended up paying $40.00 to check 3 easy to get to spark plugs which a monkey could take out. I left. But, they never got the $90.00 for the tail light upsale and they never got $600.00 for the oil leak upsale. Andy the service writer did apologize to me about telling me all 6 plugs were checked when only 3 were actually removed and visually checked. The next day I took my car to H and H Chevrolet and had my plugs and wires changed. They did not mention anything about and oil leak. I will never return.

They have been nothing but fantastic to me and my husband. There was a lot of things going wrong with our car and they checked it for free and was 1/3 of the cost of other places on what actually needed to be fixed. We havent had a problem since, and we are just waiting for our free oil and change from our car dealership to end so we can start bringing it here.

My car broke down on the interstate and based on the recommendation of my dad I had it towed to Midlands. Over the phone asked what was going on and seemed to value my own opinion of what the issue was, and were very transparent with the fact that they were all booked a week out but they would try to see it as soon as possible. 3 days later they had my car in and sent me a very impressive online file that documented their detailed inspection with pictures! Out of all the auto shops I’ve been to, this is a first.They called me back with their recommendations and gave me a realistic timeline of when the repairs would finished. I’m a college kid who normally does all my repairs myself but based on my circumstances and their fair prices I was happy to let them service my car. They didn’t take any short cuts and made sure my alternator was actually faulty and not some other issue. I felt informed during the whole process and that means a lot to me. I will definitely be returning for future repairs.
