I hadnt been here in a long time....mostly because of the pandemic. Happy to report most people were wearing masks, per State of CA mask mandate.Happy to see very few empty stores....a really nice variety of retail stores.Food area doing well and varied food items.Always appreciate the art in unexpected places.
This mall has to be one of my favorite malls that I have ever been to. I just love how everything is so organized here and the service is just fast everywhere. The stores themselves are all very nice and there’s always a great variety of things to buy. I just love this place and it’s a mall that I will always cherish and come to visit whenever I have the chance. I’d highly recommend this mall to anyone in the Coachella Valley.
Though the Westfield name is removed the Mall is still open and operating as normal. The Strong retailers and restaurants are still quite busy. Hopefully new ownership in the near future will help bring a new wave of redevelopment and energy.
Nice and Clean, glad to see many shops still open after the last shutdown due to Covid
Nice big mall. Lots of shops, no luxury stores, though. All the basic everyday stores. I wouldn’t necessarily call the Westfield Palm Desert Mall high end. However; it was nice with lots of selection and variety of stores to find anything you may need. The food court was okay. There was not a huge selection of restaurants to choose from. What I enjoyed the most was finding shoes that I am unable to find in my local malls here in LA.
Its amazing, love all the shops. The girls at Windsor is so nice 🙂
This mall has been here forever......Westfield did a nice job when they remodelled. They added sum very good stores as well.
Its a mall. Crowded, people not paying attention. But was clean and rhe stores I went in wewre wonderful.
Love this place. Excellent store varieties . Lots of food choices too. Some unique stores as well. A cool Native American one downstairs by the Macys. Cant wait to go back.
The mall seems like its gone into the abyss....all anchor stores only. Might be on its way closing completely. Time will tell. Id say support them but not sure who it would support in its forclosure status.
Havent been there in years audits still the same place jt always was......quiet and not fun at all anymore so! But they did a good job 9on the remodel after Westfield bought the mall!! It was cool tho bringing back alot of bad memories and a real nasty taste in my mouth! Lmao. Its a good spot to shop still and get away from the riff raff and the days cares!! Lol have a great day all!!
Passable...for a mall. Sees Candy, Macys, Record Alley, The Moccasin Shop, and other great stores. The Food Court is so so, the Movie Theater is notable for serving soft liquor. And the ice rink is amusing...id youre 12...
This mall is hot inside 😰😓The only reason I went over there with my 2 teens midweek, was to walk and stretch our legs in a cool place (so I thought) and also grab a bite at the food court. The only cool places were inside the stores but I wasnt in a shopping mood.I notice the issue is not only that the mall management is trying to save energy but also those skylights let too much heat sneak in. They should get covered during the hot months. Thatll make the mall space much cooler.
Ive come to the Westfield mall since I was little and have always loved it. Such a great place to go shopping.
This shopping center astounded me because I can do everything here, particularly for a leisurely stroll as well as shopping. I will definitely give this place a five-star rating because the salespeople here are very supportive and attentive to all of my problems. A must-visit location for family and friends! Strongly recommended!
Like going back to the 1970s-1980s. The PA plays Commodores, Bee Gees, Barry White, Blondie. They have the pretzels, cinnamon rolls, ear-piercing, & every store you couldnt afford with your allowance back then. I thought I even smelled incense on the lower level, but not sure.
Nice shops. Cant understand why people buy online.
The weather there was magnificent! The people or so friendly and kind! I was there on vacation and all the time I had spent their I wished I could live there everyday of my life. There is truly something special about Palm Desert that words couldnt simply describe. There is a certain atmosphere that it encompasses. Truly one of a kind place and if I could find a new job and move out there I would do it almost instantaneously!
Great job on my ring sizing and dip
Westfield mall with typical mall stores like Macys. Across from the mall; Whole foods, Nordstroms o/t Rack, major bus transfer area.
Nicley built with a ton of outlets. A few food outlets have been closed down. Mall prices are a bit incoventient, but to be fair it is expensive for a business to run a store.
Average mall with the usual stores. If you are looking for a regular mall this is your place. If you’re looking for different and unique you’ll need to keep looking. Restrooms were fairly clean and food court had a few more choices than most malls.
Okay place but theres no where to walk cuz it is beyond pack and barely any shops open and I can tell why cuz no deals and sales and employees are not very polite
All Stores were Open, Great Sales too.Clean inside and outside, feels Safe.
Went for food truck fest but that was no good so went into mall found some items and ate there much better.
This is the first time I visit since the pandemic started, the gym and Macy is nice and clean, people shopping in the mall seems happy some wear masks, few still dont.
Lots of stores. Good food. You can be here for hours
Our Westfield mall is very similar to other shopping malls, mainstream clothing shops, but also has some cool local spots mixed in there . Its not humongous so walking around and getting to see every store isnt much of a hassle. Food court is nice and eating area is modern and usually kept clean!
Great shopping done and also lots for the kids to not get bored!! Perfect for shopping with littles!
Its just good enough to spend some time with my grandson!
Please dont close this place alot of business flow thru here and needs to keep flowing just whent and theres still alot of store to shop from ..
Pretty decent place to do most of your shopping but I only wish there was more gothic clothing and hippie
We only shop at DXL there which has outside access. And we love DXL there!
Great place to shop specially Macys not many people loved it.
Ive been shopping here for 20+ years love it
Macys had great sales all wknd. 50 per cent off
A bunch of things are closed but other than that it is nice to get some steps in
This mall had plenty of stores and food places. Very nice and clean.
They removed the nursing stations by the food court as well as baby changing stations. They removed the chairs and curtains so breastfeeding moms no longer have a safe zone to nurse their babies nor do we have access to comfortable baby changing stations.I understand they might say this was done as a Covid precaution but how about encouraging employees to disinfect these areas often instead of making it such an inconvenience for moms with young babies to visit this mall? Very disappointing.
Its a Gigantic Mall.CAUTION: If you dont Drive.. Be prepared to WALK. The distance some stores is 1/2--1 Mi. Outside the 🚌🚐 bus stop there is very little Seating or a shady place to take in the Mall Experience..
This poor mall has seen better days. Four years ago I would have given this mall a 4 star rating, but today more than half of the eateries are shuttered, there are only two remaining anchor tenants, JC Penney and Macys, and 25% of the tenants seem to have left. Other than nice walking spaces, a Barnes and Noble and a few other tenants, the mall is not the great place of variety it used to be. The beloved store Record Alley has also closed!
I love the mall and everyone is polite. I have never had any problems.
The weather there has been dazzling! The human beings or so pleasant and kind! i was there on vacation and all of the time I had spent their I wished I may want to live there ordinary of my existence. there is without a doubt some thing special about Palm barren region that words couldnt honestly describe. there may be a positive surroundings that it encompasses. clearly one in every of a kind region and if I could discover a new activity and flow obtainable i would do it almost instantly!
This is a good mall. Sorry to see it close.
A great place for all of your retail experience, fun for the whole family
Nice clean mall but quite a few smaller stores didnt survive the pandemic. Hope some of them eventually come back.
Same stores, little changes, needs more new stores to come in. However great place to walk, hangout or just stop by for a quick meal.
This shopping center is so big and tidy. Well-arranged goods and easy for shopping. Many of their items seen are of high quality and have been really affordable. Nice facilities and the room isnt that busy. I still have to go to this spot to shop. Theyve got plenty of options to pick from. Its highly recommended!
Westfield Palm Desert Mall is the place to shop. Great fashion selections at Macys, open early for mall walks, many selections at the food court and kept very clean. Lots of parking all around the mall.Macys has two stores: fashion clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, home goods and the other store is furniture. There is also a Worlds Gym attached to the mall and movie theater. If you are looking to shop, exercise, eat and watch a movie go to Westfield Palm Desert Mall.
Fantastic shopping mall!Great bargain deals / watch repair service and accessories.
Nice, clean and very open. Many stores to look at!
Nice mall. Saturday afternoon,April 3, 2021. Big crowds unseen for a year. Everyone wearing masks and being civil. Went walking in the AC. is 101outside. Was great..
As it has shops for everybody, this shopping centre is highly recommended. There are many places to eat, but if you want to avoid busy restaurants, decide when it is best to eat. Another benefit is that there is ample free parking, including places for disabled people. It had all the shops that we needed and more. Good shopping place!
I love the variety of stores at this mall- they even have decent prices! I hate that they close at 7pm, though... 9pm would be perfect! Ive been going to this mall-got so long, that I remember when there used to be an ice skating rink on the bottom floor! 4 stars based on hours and a good portion of the staff any where in the mall are kind of rude...
Great mall with some good stores, bottom floor felt less full of life though
Nice indoor playground. But unfortunately closes at 7 P.M. Way to early.
For the most part everything was closed but some of the stores had some fun stuff or interesting things.
Great mall lots of stores closes pretty late
This mall is nice. Its not too big that you feel like youve walked a football field just to shop. Theyve gotten a some new stores in the last year, which is nice since some closed down. Definitely one of the better malls Ive shopped.
We spent most of the time in Macys, which was fantastic. The rest of the mall was very nice as well.
Its nice to see malls occupied again. People bustling here and there. Could be cleaner. There were a couple spots that had dirty streaks along the floor.
Fun to walk through and see businesses survived.
Needed somewhere with A/C for the kids to burn some energy, figured a lap or two around the mall would work. Really liked how many hand sanitizer stations there were throughout the whole mall. Several food options in the food court were gone, but not missed, replaced with sanitizer stations, and seating was cut about 50% in the food court which is great for covid precautions. Honestly weve avoided the mall like the plague since the start of covid assuming it would be packed with the squads of people (a majority of antimaskers/antivaxers I feared) but it was quite the opposite. Masks are required for entry into many of the inside locations and there just wasnt that many people during our visit. Seeing that the entire facility is taking the pandemic seriously while still allowing businesses to remain open and customers to still shop for leisure was nice. Also no kids at the playground inside, and it looked super clean and again had sanitizer stations so the kids got to burn a little energy there before we left to allow another family playtime.
Wow what a fun filled exiting experience.
Its a really nice mall. They have a lot of the general stores that you would see in other malls. The only bad part is that the food court doesnt have much a selection because its always changing.
I tried to purchase a gift for my lovely wife at JC Penney but the line As the register was 3 deep and not moving after after 15 minutes I gave up Only one person Workings to check out Ridiculous
The property is well kept, pretty good selection of stores but like many malls these days, a lot of vacancies
Found my store of choice easily and was a fun experience.
Only concern is the lack of parking other than that great experience
Its a beautiful mall but the parking lot was empty nobody was in the mall at all I just happen to pull in answer my phone and place was like a ghost town hopefully itll start to reopen soon and we could do it really good assessment of it
Macys Backstage has awesome deals
Different stores..Good best for supplies
Mall was okay. We went in May 2021 and at least a third of the shops were closed. However, my sister was able to find a dress. The food court is bomb though.
This is Stuff Pizza in Palm Desert. Great food and Beer!!! Very friendly place! No drama or Karens!
Not crowded some people wearing masks cool in the summer heat easy going shopping experience
So sad to experience our once bustling mall turning into a ghost town. One store after another is shuttered. The mall closes at 7:00 M-Th. Thats too early for many weekday shoppers. Perhaps this is a sign of the times? With all the online shopping and the past Covid lockdown how much longer will the mall experience last?
Best art store in the desert is here so the whole mall gets 5 stars
It’s the mall we all went to has kids, the one that had an ice-skating rink. It’s the mall we all go to because it’s the only one we’ve got. I will be back many times and so will you.
Great place to get sports equipment.
It’s sad to see my favorite places didn’t reopen. Like Coffee Bean andTutti Fruity Yogurt 🙁
Great vibe here today.
Great location. Very convenient for anyone in the Coachella valley
Nice enough to shop love barns and noble
You will find all kinds of stuff here, and I have to say that the content was fantastic. It was yesterday that I purchased a necklace for my younger sister. It wasnt too costly. When I gave it to her, she felt so blessed that she said that the jewelry was so exquisite and shimmering. Thank you very much for that.
The mall was clean & they had cleaning stations at every directory. The staff outside stores (encouraging people to come inside) were courteous & friendly when we got lost without a directory. We felt safe & knew the mall staff cares about our safety & theirs. Thank you!!!
Has a couple of my favorite shops in here.
Always a great selection and friendly service.
Great indoor shopping center lots of choices.
This is the only major mall in the valley, and does have the typical stores needed if you are from out of town and need an additional outfit. The stores are COVID clean and the mall also has two or three restaurants inside. There is also Dickys sporting goods if you left your golf clubs at home. Also, it is centrally located near many other food places, shopping centers which one includes Nordstrom Rack, and other local retail places. I gave it three stars because the mall is not in a major city so your not going to get that BIG shopping experience.
Nice place to get in out of the heat. You can do a little shopping, people watching and get something to eat
Fun place for shopping.
I always enjoy shopping at Forever 21 for the very latest mens styles.
A great place to hang out with friends!
