I would give this place a 0. I went in yesterday to test my battery which was dead. And they do not install them their so I asked if anyone can jumpstart my vehicle since the salesmen (Edward) instructed me to turn off the vehicle and told me no they can’t jumpstart. I’ve gone to the cathedral city location many times in the past and they have helped me out. Why would I give this place my money for rude service.

They were such a good help here. We are in from Seattle,Wa. Great customer service from an awesome staff

I’m usually not the type of person who gets upset over things or posts reviews but the way I was treated in this store really ticked me off!I visited my neighborhood store on 5/26/20 to purchase a trickle charger & Auto battery. Given Covid times and respect for my health and of others, I always wear a mask as required by State while out and about.While entering the store, I observed that all employees appeared to be wearing masks and after searching for a charger, I was even directed by a salesperson wearing a mask, to a location where I could find them.Needless to say, while looking at several different types of chargers on a lower shelf, a female customer abruptly approached me (inches away) to view items also. In response, I immediately stepped back to distance myself and then was appalled to find that she wasn’t wearing a mask, nor was the Sales person that was helping her. WHY?While I stood back, alarmed and waiting for the person to move on, the Sales person just looked at me and did nothing. By the look on his face, he definitely knew what had just happened and continued to stand there, chicken hearted, and unwilling to tell her to distance herself, or await her turn as I and another customer (masked) stood back waiting for her to move on also.After a lengthy time waiting for her to make up her mind, I finally decided I didn’t deserve the “BS” treatment I was receiving and out of fear for my health, I eventually set my items of purchase down and headed out out of the store, telling myself to never do business there again!Needless to say, Lowe’s got my business that morning, $185 in purchases and my total respect for requiring all of their employees and customers to wear masks, and maintain social distancing while in their store. Interesting fact is that I didn’t see a single person in their huge store that morning that wasn’t wearing a mask!Stay clear of Auto Zone in Palm Desert!They don’t observe their own rules as posted on their entry door and only make matters worse, once you enter the store!

IV been going to this store for years every time that ordered my parts that were one point next day or that evening and they were the right parts...Well ..i ordered some parts that came in and I didnt varify them and the store didnt eather.i tore down my truck and started to reassemable it and realized the parts were wrong when I return to the store we got the right parts had to reorder them start another day down but it wasnt the stores fault if I was to put blame my day was my fault and their fault my point is everybody makes a mistake as a great store good people something that I dont hold a grudge or nothing but we all make mistakes the people behind the counter very knowledgeable very friendly so my advice is to always verify and identify the parts to the ordering so that dont happen to anybody else thats the first time I thinking six years that Ive been going to that store its ever happened I still give a them an A1 rating ... keep up the good work

I bought new batteries for my car remote key from them and out of 4 EMPLOYEES AND the parts department man they couldnt figure out how to replace the batteries.After 15 minutes they gave it back to me and told me take it somewhere else. I went out to my car Googled how to and did it myself in less than 3 minutes.

Auto Zone in Palm Desert...such a neat and tidy store with a vast array of really useful gadgets in addition to everything car-related. Best part is the staff! So helpful they even put my wiper blades on for me...that is high praise from me, a female with zero automobile knowledge. Love these guys! Also, great place to buy stocking stuffers for your guy!

Didnt want to give me refund cuz I forgot debit card. To much of an ego to just give me cash back instead. They ended up keeping my part and money. I called corporate, and hopefully when I go back I get my refund, but to waste my time is whats not acceptable.

Review of Palm Desert Resort C.C.Ive been going there as a guest for quite sometime, on Fri. & Sat. Guests are allowed in Clubhouse which may not be plush like some, but the staff & Entertainers are superb ! On Fri. Tommie Douglas sings Real Country from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm a nice way to enjoy a reasonably priced dinner on patio or inside,Saturdays Tony DeJerlando takes front stage singing Americas Songbook Everything from Sinatra to Elvis. A seasoned Pro Tony connects with members & guests on a personal level with his vocals, probably why he$ been asked back for 5 Seasons in a row!I cant think of a more enjoyable way to spend a Fri or Sat. Nite. Ill be back next weekend for sure....

Dont go here to load test a battery. I went in with a battery I suspected was bad and all the did was hook up a glorified volt meter and said it shows 12.6v its good. I said no I used a Voltmeter and when I try to crank I show voltage drop to 10.2 volts so I think its bad. Everyone other Auto parts store has a big tester that charges and zaps it with a load to simulate starting. Long story short I went to OReilly down the street and what do you know, I had a bad cell resulting in a bad battery that wouldnt support a load. Staff was nice but clueless about what I was trying to explain.

They did not have the touch up paint I needed for my car. They took the time to call around and find there was only one. They ordered it for me and I got it in 2 days. Excellent service.

I went needing windshield wipers for my van. The cashier helped me find the right ones. She also offered to have them put on for free. Even took the old ones for trash. Great fast, efficient service.

I had some parts ordered and was told it would take about 3-5 business days. I was called 2 days later my parts had arrived and were all the right parts. Autozone employees genuine positive attitude to help their clients is very much appreciated.

If I could rate it lower, I would. No one greeted or acknowledged me when I came. No one asked if I needed help. I noticed there were 2-3 seemingly available staff members. After I walked around the store 2xs I finally found what I was looking for. I sat at the register unacknowledged for a while. I was only acknowledged when I went to put the items back on the shelf to leave. After this experience Autozone . Theyve lost me a 10+year customer. I will not be spending another dime there.

AutoZone has many things for the car. However, everything is very expensive Oh, you can buy a cheaper at other places.

Well stocked auto supply store. Helpful staff. Had to return a regulator, no problems at all with that.

The staff here are courteous and usually knowledgable. But the real bonus is many parts are lifetime guarenteed, even brakes. I havent had to pay for brakes for 10 years. Gotta love that. And they store the info for you so you dont even need a receipt. Why doesnt every retailer do this?

This Auto Zone had 5 Employees working at the time I was there. The time I got in line to pay. One employee had his back facing me while he spoke with another employee. I was in line for about 5 mins before being attended too. Then when I was cashing out the employee that was cashing me out started to speak to another person then left me standing to answer a phone call. I will never go back to this Auto Zone. These employees need some additional training on how to treat a Customer.

ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!!!!!! Called in at 10am to order an air filter and a cabin filter for my car and was told that they would be there at 2pm. Called back at 2:45pm to check on them and was told they hadnt arrived and would be there at 6pm. Came back at 8am the next morning and they couldnt find them. They finally find one of them labeled under the wrong name and then tell me that Ill have to come back again later when the other comes in but they cant tell me when that will be. The staff was rude and couldnt even offer an apology or explanation of what happened. The gentleman that rang up my order once they found it was rude and disinterested in helping me. Once my purchase was processed he threw my receipt at me and walked away, no thank you no come again nothing. DO NOT USE THIS STORE! THEY CAN NOT HELP YOU AND THEY DO NOT CARE TO!!!!!!!!!
