We were visiting family in California from Texas and needed our brakes resurfaced and changed. We were limited on time and J &E Automotive was there to help. They did the work same day and within a few hours we were back on the road. Great people that do excellent work for a great price. I highly recommend this company for your car needs. John has done most of the repairs on it for the past 5yrs some major some minor never any issues with any of the work they have done. I have taken my Lexus to John twice for repairs. He is wonderful! Each time he diagnosed the problem quickly and made the necessary repairs in a timely manner. I highly recommend that anyone having a problem with their car take it in and have him look at your car and give you an estimate as to the repair cost and the time it will take to repair. I am sure you will be pleased with his work. On 5/30/2018, I had a starting problem. I stopped in to see John and his advice was excellent and solved my problem of having a dead battery. I am scheduling an appointment to have him install a charging device on my new battery as this is my second car which means I only occasionally drive it. He is knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

The most honest auto repair shop I have ever been to !!! These guys are the best, I have taken my wife and my cars here and they have fixed the problems. I dont go anywhere else. The are honest and up front about all their repair work. I cannot recommend them enough.I have been to many different auto repair shops in my life, as most of my cars have been older models, and some were good, some we horrible, but only one is excellent. 2000 miles from home our truck stopped working. This shop had us back and running within a day and everything seems to be working great. Very thorough diagnostic and competent repair.

Great service, honest and fair price

I was from out-of-town (1500mi away, ha) and had a rear brake that was smoking badly.Called J & E at 8:00am Monday and was told to drive it in, if able. Brake problem was quickly diagnosed and repairs made... before lunch...for amount quoted, (a very reasonable number). Staff were excellent, friendly and business like. If I lived in Palm Desert they would do all my work!

The service here by the owner was awful. He was rude, obnoxious, and down right weird. He wouldnt give me any straight answers when asking about diagnostics and repairs. He went on and on about having more than 30 years exp but I dont care if you are a jerk you wont have my service...NO THANKS!!!
