This was our first time renting a storage unit so we were a bit nervous with the process. However, Bambi made us feel right at home. Her easy going and friendly personality made the entire process easy for us to digest. She also did a great job explaining and showing us everything. There are no hidden costs and Bambi explained every cost that could be incurred or could be added on.Note, insurance coverage for stored items is required. This is usually included in homeowners or renters. But if you dont have either, you can get insurance through Bambi and Safeguard.

Highly recommended! Very clean facility. Staff was very kind and helpful (Mike and Bambie). Several carts available for you to use. Super easy access to storage unit. Just some minor issues using elevators. My experience at Safegaurd Self Storage was excellent!

I was a Palatine Safeguard storage customer for more than 10 years and I cant commend the facility or staff highly enough. The facility was always clean and convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful. My needs have changed recently so I no longer need the facility but I am pretty sure I will be back sometime soon.

This is a great storage facility with reasonable prices. Bambi was fantastic. She explained the sign-up process, took us on a tour and explained the how to access the unit. She was so nice and understanding since this was our first experience with a storage rental unit. The facility itself is set up so nicely. There is a covered bay for unloading, carts to use and roomy elevators. I’m very happy we chose this location.

Bambi and Mike were extremely nice and helpful! Bambi explained everything to us, walked us to different units, and explained all of the deals to us! My husband and I wanted a new storage facility, and this place has everything you need to keep your stuff safe and secured! We loved the fact all of the units were inside, had alarms, and that there is a garage to unload everything at!

I thought the registration experience would be long and tedious but I was wrong. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Bambi at the front desk. She went over everything in a timely manner and answered all of my questions and was very helpful. The storage facility is extremely clean and appears to have a great level of security. Bambi made the experience very positive! Her engaging personality and witnessing her actions overseeing the property is an example of someone who likes her job and cares about the customer. Based upon the buildings security and internal/external cleanliness there is no doubt the owners care about what they do. I will definitely recommend this storage facility to others.

We recently decided to put our excess household items into storage and selected Safeguard because of its convenient location and its very positive reviews. After visiting and securing a storage unit, it is clear why customers were so impressed. The building is clean, well lit, and extremely well managed. Bambi took care of us, and she was thorough and professional-and also genuinely kind and friendly. She showed us the different units, explained the procedures, and even asked me questions to make certain I would have no problem accessing the unit should I visit alone.We are first time storage renters, and this experience made us feel like we made a wise and excellent choice in selecting Safeguard.

The facilities are very clean, well designed and maintained, and protected by what seemed to be a sophisticated physical security system. The staff in the office are friendly and knowledgeable. The office also sells locks and packing supplies, which is very convenient. Minor negative is that access to the unit is only allowed 7 am to 10 pm, though I think after hours access is available on request.

This is a well maintained storage facility with a courteous and knowledgeable staff. The manager, Mike Mattey, went above and beyond to ensure I had all the facts to select a unit that would meet my specific needs -- all within a price that fit my budget. I highly recommend this business!

Wouldnt store my stuff anywhere else. Not only is this place clean and very secure but Bambi and Mike are amazing and care about all of their customers. I would trust them with my life and not just my stuff! Cant recommend enough.

Mike Mattey, the Facility manager was great to work with. he helped us save some money. We recommend them. Very close to Highway 53 and Northwest Highway. There have a drive in drop off which is great.

We got a storage unit the other day and I have to say Bambi was amazing! What great customer service! We never used storage before so we had no clue how it worked. Bambi made every thing so simple and easy and explained everything about our rental. If you need storage and are close to this facility, rent here. Bambia smile and welcoming spirit is why we did. The facility is extremely clean too which was just another plus.

I have been interested in self-storage for some household goods for several months. After evaluating a number of self-storage facilities in the area, I decided to sign with SafeGuard Self Storage for three reasons: 1) the cleanliness, security features, and apparent quality of the facility, 2) good pricing, and 3) most importantly, because of Mike, the Manager of the facility. Mike impressed me with his professionalism; his obvious desire to understand and address the requirements of the customer; his thorough knowledge of the facility, its security features, and its benefits for customers; his intelligence; and his personal involvement in the smooth-running of the facility for the benefit of his customers. As examples of his helpfulness, Mike explained that he himself stores items there and provided a customer perspective on its benefits, suggested ways to optimize the storage of my things, and helped me understand the benefits and limitations of the various add-on items. I dont often write reviews, and rarely feel as enthusiastic as I do in this case, but the impression made on me by my visits to this facility and my conversations with Mike, were extremely positive, and I am happy to endorse this facility to anyone looking for a great storage facility.

I was moving and needed temporary storage for my excess stuff so my condo would show well during the sales process. I have stored stuff in the past in another city where the storage unit was more like an outdoor garage, i.e. everything got dirty and dusty. Safeguard Storage is pristine in its cleanliness!Its kind of like a creepy horror movie when you take your stuff up to the third floor. There are no humans around, music is playing, and its not well lit as you step off the elevator. As you walk down the hallway, the lights come on automatically, following you. EEEEE! I felt like I should look out for Jason coming around the corner, LOL.Actually, its a great place that makes it super easy to load and unload your stuff safe from inclement weather. I couldnt be happier with them - Id use them again in a minute!
