Their dinner/lunch meal is real bad, chapati/naan is not fresh but frozen and I bet if anyone can eat it, so hard like stone. Better make sure you have dental insurance before eating the roti or naan from their meal.

Im a traveler. Someone recommended me to buy groceries from here but I also got to know that they sell halal food, too. I bought some dishes, the food was delicious! Now whenever I do parties in my house, I do catering from here. I would definitely recommend you guys to go visit Asian Island and taste their food!

Excellent food, God, these guys should open a restaurant, they have the best desi food I have ever eaten in Chicago during the past 30 years. And I eat out a lot. They do catering as well, top, top class quality of food and huge quantities with very reasonable prices.They are just THE BEST one can ever find in USA.Besides, their grocery prices are excellent, along with excellent service. They treat you with respect, courtesy and total professionalism. I highly, highly recommend this shop, try it out and you will also be their huge fans.

Clearly both Moe & Kevin have a very overactive imagination, considering that this location is a grocery store!!! And while they do offer a small variety of takeout food, they dont have a seating area. So, how about instead of spreading misinformation, or creating these farfetched stories, you actually visit the place!

I think Moe Asif is right it was a bit strange but I figured I was being over imaginative when I brought in my wife for a quick bite. I believe I also witnessed some sort of a drug deal it seemed like going on I have a brother who’s a detective I spoke to him about it and you have just confirmed my belief I can’t believe I was right that’s crazy seems like they got some big stuff going on there because I heard a similar conversation while I think the owner was behind the counter, but the numbers that were discussed were a lot greater and key word flower was used as well me and my wife love Indian Asian and Pakistani Asian cuisine but I won’t even start with how horrible the food tasted the nan was not soft the nan was super crispy over all bad service and quality I dont recommend to anyone. Regular Customer since the beginning in early 2000 (They are the 4th owner now). Very nice people BUT, they sell lot of Expired items from Hot Dogs to Noodles and Shan Spices and mix dry deserts. Ive returned so many times and they never even apologize instead, they try to sell for half price or put it back. Many of my relatives and friends went through same situation but this store never care. Yes, its convenient to get the Halal meat which is pricey but ok as they are in Suburbs But, NO to any other items as i bought many items expired from One year to Three years ago and they sell it. Read about someone wrote Drug Dealing so no, please dont make comment you dont know they dont do that as you are accusing someone without even knowing anything. Not, a eating area but carry out only.

Horrible food horrible place never go here don’t recommend for anyone had the worst experience had the owner greet us when we came in suddenly he gets a call answers and say okay come to the back there’s a lot of police around here and then he says flower or snow he gets a reply then he says half pound for 1400 and 8ball for 250 I was mind blown but I let it slide then the food comes out best part naan was so oily seemed like it was deep fried and the curry was warmed up in the microwave or something u can tell when I put the spoon down to the bottom of the bowl to get a nice scoop and pour it onto my plate the beef came out hard and burnt rubber like it’s a disgrace to Asian food or just food in general I’m not one to leave a bad review but this place is hands down unacceptable wouldn’t be surprised if it gets raided or closed down soon.

We ordered Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Karahi, however when went to pick up the order they gave chicken korma and Biriyani.Taste wise the chicken korma was good but the Biriyani was horrible,it was stale and unbelievable spicy.Me and my husband was feeling sick after having the Biriyani. we wont order from there anymore.

We just moved to the area and started our search for a desi (Pakistani/Indian) grocery store. After some disappointing stores we decided to try this based on great reviews. This is a meat lover desi foodie’s dream grocery store. Ready to go delicious biryani pretty much all the time need I say more. They also have kabobs, various popular dishes to go or you can place an order. Their dishes and kabobs are tasty without being killer spicy. The owners are super friendly and helpful. At times they let you sample their foods. I am so thrilled to have discovered them 3 miles from my house.

They all pakistani masala and groceries just not fresh veggies..and they do serve cooked food too..like biryani and curry and kababs..and more..do give it a try..

Usually get my raw meats from here. Chicken, beef & mutton are all okay here. Of the cooked food they offer, Ive tried the biryani & their chicken seekh kabab, both were good. They have a modest variety of desi groceries. The owners are friendly & accommodating, good customer service for a Desi place. Overall, a fairly good option.

In my opinion this is the best place for mutton(goat), specifically for those from bengal who cant eat smelly goats. Secondly they have very good varity of inhouse snaks, (chicken puff awesome!!). And they are very nice people very good customercare jabhi jaoge chai jaroor peena 😀
