My favorite place to shop! Aldi makes things easy, very organized aisles, easy to find whatever I need. Im able to pick up my staple items as well as take advantage of whatever weekly specials are going on at the time. Employees are super friendly and the prices are fantastic. Only warning about Aldi is some of their offerings are limited-time so if you really like something, you may choose to stock up as it may not be there the next time you visit. The cheese department is impressive as are the meats, including many grass-fed organic selections. They dont have things like offal (liver, brains, bone marrow, etc.) that I have to source elsewhere, but thats OK, Im able to get over 90% of my shopping done here and can get the rest from WF or local ethnic grocers, of which there are several.

My favourite place to shop! I honestly enjoy coming here, they have a great variety. Some of the things i have tried and loved: the almond bark chocolate is the best for melting chocolate, sweet Hawaiian crescent is perfect for sweets i like it more than the original. The calzone and the stuffed chicken are sooo goood 🤤 also there is a lot of organic choices with a great price. Overall great products great price.

My favorite place to get grocery staples. Recently reorgaized with wider aisls and perimeter refrigerator cases.Worth noting: Half the code-required handicapped parking spaces were replaced by seldom occupied pickup stalls. Large delivery trucks frequently block traffic near the building by parking in the fire lanes instead of using the rear loading docks.

8/2021 First time in the store. Clean and orderly. Similar to other stores. Staff was friendly and helpful. I am sure we will use this Aldis again in the future.

I Just left the store may 1. 2:39pm I was treated horribly by one of the young cashiers with a ponytail and Brown/yellow glasses. She needs some serious psychiatric help. I have three things in a little paper box she made take The items out on the belt Then proceeded to throw them in her cart. And when I asked for the Receipt she said I have to wait until she finished the person after me. Total psychotic behavior she definitely does not need to work with customers.

I really like this Aldi store which has the newest format. Bright store with good looking produce. Love all the cheese and deli options at great prices. Fresh Tilapia and Salmon. Good selection of Chicken, Pork & Beef also at good prices. Large wine and decent beer options. Will travel a bit further to go to this store.

I swear this ALDI has EVERYTHING I need. I found things I couldnt even find in the local Marianos, Jewel, and Walmart! (Plus everything here is significantly cheaper!)

One of the best Aldis in the area. I have been to two others and they just dont compare to this one in Palatine. Clean, well stocked store with fresh and delicious food with more variety. Staff is quick, efficient and friendly. I get all my groceries here and the meals I prepare at home are delicious, tender and flavorful.

Check the receipt before you leave the cash register, once again I paid for something that I didnt have in the basket, additionally the cashier counted 4 packages of mushrooms and there were 3.EX4: DB: Meal prep 4.99I did not have it.

Was there Saturday the cashier charged me for 3 loaves of bread when I only bought 1. Didnt look at my receipt til I got home. She voided 1 out but still charged me for 2 loaves. Is it worth going back for $1.39? I think they r rushing as there r only 1 or 2 cashiers

I stop at this store every now and then on my way home from work. Its a great store. Its very roomy. At the time I get there, its never really super crowded.

Make sure you grab a cart!!! I always say just picking up a few things no need and end up with arms full and dropping items so I need to follow my own advice. They have a great clearance section you can find anything from kitchenware to cosmetic items. I particularly like there gourmet label. Great prices and excellent return policy they take back anything no questions asked no receipt get a store credit.

I love shopping at this Aldis. Its always so clean and organized. I started shopping at this one because they were one of newer format stores. I always love the limited items because it gets me to try stuff I wouldnt normally buy. This is where I do my primary grocery shopping. Great place to shop!

We hadnt been in Aldi for almost 40 years. Gave it another try and it was good. Didnt have a couple things we wanted (ginger root, single onions) but almost everything else. Our thanks to our son and daughter-in-law.

This is the best Aldi Ive seen. It being so new has a lotto do with it Im sure. My only complaint is that they always take away certain items that are considered staples for a lot people. But I think thats part of how the whole company operates to keep pricing low. Cant complain too much.

Ive been to this Aldi about a dozen times because its near my job and it all good before the pandemic. I couldnt find few things they were out of stock but okay.I know about the 6 feet rule, I was in the check out line and since the cashiers are good at scanning quickly, I was trying to get my stuff on the counter while providing much space as possible. I think the cashier guy (I didnt see his name) assumed I was going to step forward into the people infront me and abruptly told me Hold on maam I need you to step away for a min. which to me came off rude. Could of came off nicer about that but whatever. Im currently pregnant and am at higher risk so of course Im going to take precaution. The man cleaning and disinfecting the carts at the entrance was really nice though.

This Aldi location is newer. It has great product offerings and great prices. The store is always well stocked and clean. The employees are wonderful and friendly.

Recently remodeled. Really great lighting so everything is very Bright. Theres a lot more produce. Everything is organized nicely. Overall great experience and Aldi low prices.

Somewhere along the way, this Aldi lost their way. I had the rudest employee ever. I always put boxes in my cart so I’m in and out especially given the pandemic. This lady took the boxes out and put them on the top basket. I asked her to put them back and I didn’t care how the landed in the boxes. She said no way, I rated on time and how many pieces I check out. Then she started throwing my groceries in the cart. I asked her to place them in there. Aldi has seemed to forget that we have choices and customers should come first. It was a small ask!!This lady was clearly following the leadership in the store. Just plain RUDE!The worst part is you can’t call Aldi- they don’t care either.

Verbally harassing a cancer patient, yelling at them in the middle of the store because they forgot 1 item at checkout and you are closing. The mexican lady who is supposedly a manager allowed thia teenaged kid to continue yelling at me she just stood and smiled.They all refused to give me their names and the manager locked the door when we left, waved, and smiled.Absolutely disgusting you hire people like this in your stores. I will be filling complaints everywhere I can find including the bbb.

Been shopping here since it opened. Nice open store, cheap prices, wide selection and they have these fashionable freezer doors that are really nice to use. I can get a lot of goods that arent stocked elsewhere, definitely cheaper than any place nearby and they have a better selection than walmart. I plan to keep going.

I love this aldi so much. I get all my food here! Clean establishment and always well stocked. I wanted to mention one cashier, Sarah, who really blew me away with her customer service and all around personality.She was so genuinely kind and sweet and had such a welcoming smile. A lot of aldi employees throw your groceries around and seem really unenthusiastic during their job but Sarah was so warm and sweet. I was already sold on coming to this store because of the products but amazing employees like Sarah really make a simple mundane errand like getting groceries so much nicer.

This is a great location. Aldi did a great job - this is larger and better stocked than the older stores. Typically, I find Aldi has a nice selection. While the older and smaller Aldi stores are still well stocked, the larger location allows them to have a greater variety.Location is pretty good, too. Its on Dundee Road just east of 53 and West of Arlington Heights Road. There is a smaller Aldi closer to my home which we frequent. But, when we are up near to this store, we always stop by.

This location is cleaner and more organized than any other Ive ever been to. If you have been turned off by Aldi in the past, try this location and you will change your mind. Just dont forget bags and a quarter for a shopping cart.

I think I have a love-hate relationship with Aldi. Aldi is a typical no-frills supermarket. They are not large scale like a Jewel or Marianos, but they have a good selection. Overall, their prices are good. Most items are significantly less than the larger stores, but some items can be more expensive so you have to watch out for that.They have a great selection of prepackaged, fresh meats. Their produce selection is small and the quality was only fair. They have a great selection of dairy products, with prices for milk and eggs much less than the larger chains. They have a large canned foods section, breads and a pretty good selection of Mexican goods. Interestingly, they have a wide selection of electronics, Christmas decorations and candies.To keep their prices low, they keep only a small staff. Lines at checkout can be long. Also to save money, you have to deposit a quarter to get a cart. (It is returned when you return the cart.) They also do not provide free bags, but offer them for sale at checkout if you dont bring your own.It is clean, and you can save a bunch of money there. Just watch the pricing on all items and remember to bring your own bags.
