Used to be my favorite target in the area. It’s big. It’s in a nice part of palatine. And the people in palatine are just good people. There are better targets tho just having more options and selection.

Started with online pick up order. A notification came to my email saying that the order was ready to be picked up. I went to the location & the app directed me to confirm my parking spot number. About ten minutes of waiting, I walked inside & found multiple workers standing around chatting. When I approached a group of workers inquiring where the order was I was told the order was still being processed. I arranged my lunch break around this pickup order. So, now I wasted my entire break for an order that was not ready. Obviously there was an issue with the online system for the false notification. Isabel stated that I can go get it myself...I did not have to do that. I called around 6 to confirm that the order was finally ready for pickup & was told it was. When I returned later, Isabel was at the counter again with another coworker. Took her time greeting me, was greeted with an attitude. Gave my information & she went to retrieve my order. While she walked to get the order, speaking out loud to her coworker “don’t even get me started, because I’ll get started”. I don’t know if this was directed towards me but it made me feel very uncomfortable. Completely unprofessional. If I wanted to be mistreated & around ghetto people, I would have gone to Walmart. What type of people are you hiring at Target. I will NEVER be returning to this location!- my girlfriends review smh.

No one can pick up the phone at this target apparently. Absolutely ridiculous. Ive called 5 times!! And no one has picked up the phone.

I havent been to the Palatine location in years. Im so glad that I decided to check it out. I found a lot of great deals and unexpected treasures. The store was clean and organized which made it easy to shop too!! Im definitely going back but Im not going to subject myself to the young girl cashier who couldnt keep her personal opinions to herself!! She was extremely unprofessional and needs to be re-trained. Her customer service skills are lacking on so many levels. I knew that I should have used the self checkout!!

The store is not that bad, but their restrooms are terrible! They smell like someone poop in the whole restroom and nobody clean it up, Im not gonna say much about it but I got some pictures of the sink. I dont remember why but we say we dine wanna do anymore to that store unless we really have to get something there.

Found what I needed. The patio umbrella and base are great! The one disappointment was not being able to use a fitting room to try on a dress.

Terrible guest service and employees harass guests

Overall the store is good like any other Target store in the area. Well maintained and employees helpful to some extent. During this pandemic time, I usually check the inventory online or in app before I make my visit to the store to avoid in-store time searching for the item. BUT I would not recommend doing this for this Target store at all. The online inventory is just not updated regularly, I would say not at all. My instance was looking for disinfectant wipes or spray or even sanitizer and this store showed available in limited quantities. Even after being there at 8.30AM I did not see the stock available and when I requested an employee I was told that stock is being fulfilled since the store just opened an hour back. I waited there for almost an hour and then I approached the person updating the aisle and was straight way mentioned they do not have in stock. But online or in-app it still showed as available. To give it a try again, I checked the inventory online few days later and still the same situation even in mid day. During this pandemic time, stock inventory is very important especially for such items which is not available that easily and people are ready to drive long to get even a single box of it. I did not notice such thing in other Target stores.

The store overall is clean and organized. They don’t have a large inventory and have rude staff. I was attempting to price check at customer service got turned back to the check lanes just for them to pull up the wrong item and price so they didn’t have to match it. A joke. No worries I’ll be shopping at Walmart then.

Worst customer service ever.Always packed not enough cashier the little Hispanic blonde girl who i think might be the team lead for guest services is always rude, I ordered stuff for pick up one of the things contained a different product then what was supposed to be inside (make up, used, ew?)So I went to return it and they where trying to argue with me.There is like 2 people cashiering who don’t know how to do their jobs and 20 people standing in each line .Jesus hire some people with experience and a more courteous and professional guest services lead. Makes me want to avoid this target.

Target is a superstore with state-of-the art merchandising and friendlycustomer service.

Product was as described. Online referring and pickup went smoothly. Great deal on the printer that I was looking for. Friendly staff when I went to pick it up.

Target is 100 times better than Walmart

Could pretend like they wanna be there. Workers standing around talking. Giving attitude to coworkers when asked to help. Ordered pickup to save time. Took over half an hour to get my “ready” order. Gal with red hair up front complaining she had been there since 8 am.Pickup order was given incomplete. Instead of checking the mistake right away the workers talked about food and finished their side conversation while I waited. Will not be shopping here again.

You have to watch signs posted to get money back. Not shopping here again.

Sold me a $65 defective, used/filthy product, which was missing the most important part, and I didnt realize it until I got home. So now I have to waste my time to go back and return it

This Target is excellent as they are fully stocked with anything you could want . Everyone who works here is nice and their jewelry counter is great as I found some unique pieces here and anyone I dealt with has been so helpful . The Irish cashier was so funny joking with me . They are one of the best targets I have ever been too . It’s nice Starbucks is in here too . Highly recommended!!!

They are fairly busy, I asked for a specific Webcam and they told me to wait for someone to assist me, waited 6 - 8 minutes for attention, not sure how they check inventory but he scanned and told me they dont have the one model im looking for. The electronics and clothing section were fairly occupied or empty. Only the food and self care sections were very occupied.

Favorite store to shop for groceries, toys and the use of the CVS pharmacy inside. Over the years Ive noticed the lack of mens clothing and sunglasses. Checking out isnt the easiest/fastest compared to other stores but its not a big issue for myself. Its great to go to a store like this and know what Im looking for is almost always there and easy to find. Oh yeah, one more thing. They have the Target app which you simply scan at the register. Im not quite sure how it works but there always seems to be rewards as in store credit added on for every single visit.

Lol a limit on cards.... Never going here a again. Never seem to have an issue at Walmart!

Didn’t argue or question anything and helped me figure out the best option to fix the issue! She was also very pleasant and sweet. I wish I got her name because she was great!

My wife and I came in at 1020am on Saturday the 1st of February and we were treated to the nicest cashier. She was so friendly and helpful with a huge smile!

I am loving the car pickup option! I just wish even more items were available with that option. (Staples like bread and more grocery items for example)

Target was having a great one day sale on men’s T-shirts. Couldn’t make it to the store that day so I purchased online for pickup in store. They emailed me when my order was ready and I stopped by to get it. It was that simple!

Steer clear of this place! Very rude staff and literally make up rules on the spot. What a joke this place.

Restrooms are really really gross. There is usually feminine waste that rarely gets changed. Also, all kinds of waste on the floor.The electric scooters are dead every visit.Issues have been reported and nothing changes. No one cares there.

Customer service and store appearances - its very clean and well organized.

I did not like the service of the employees at the front at 1:00-1:30 p.m. today, especially the supervisor. The clothes were in clearance and also in the clearance section. There was supposed to be 20% extra discount with cartwheel. One of the clothing was an online item, and in the clearance section. They had a sign right above the section 20% extra with cartwheel. We told her but she did not even discount the 20%. Moreover, they were the two exact pants, still different price. They do not care for the customers in the palatine store, which should be their first priority.

Customer service is excellent in this target. Very happy to have it close to home. Stephanie is very kind and professional. Great to have people like her whenever you have any concern.Wonderful service!

I went here yesterday to g get a few items after being terrorized by the medical records supervisor at northwest community hospital doing fake wellness checks and let me tell you they were so helpful as they knew I was shook up as I told everyone the story about. her too all of them.This staff was compassionate and very helpful in this as I was so distraught. . The store is so well laid out and so well stocked. They are a wonderful store with wonderful people.

Decent Target location however they lack the skills to clean. Mostly every time I go there, the bathrooms stink and the floors are dirty

I placed an order for drive up and waited over an hour outside and no one was even doing anything so I went to grabbed the items myself. They’re are being difficult, especially karina. It took me less than 5 minutes to grab the items. They refuse to just scan it from my cart and let me be on my way. I had to call corporate and they’re still being difficult about it. They want me to pay for the items again and wait over a week for me to get my money back. Absolutely ridiculous.

Overall the store is fine. They messed up my return and tried to get me to call customer service and mail my return back.. yeah, how bow no. Eventually was able to give me a Target gift card for the return amount. Also watch for creepers trying to steal from you. I was shopping with a open-top tote bag with my work laptop and my smaller purse inside. I felt the presence of another person behind me in the otherwise empty store around 8:30pm, low and behold, some creepy dude is like two inches directly behind me. When I looked at him and he immediately went in another direction.

Great store for basics. Prefer this store over the dirty Walmart nearby. They carry every item that you need and they have a great Starbucks inside of the West entrance. The store is very clean and there are enough people to answer questions or help. The food section has your basic needs also.

Oh my Gosh, The womens bathroom at the Target on Dundee Rd, Palatine, is one of the most disgusting I have been into. It is old, stained, floors are filthy along with the toilets. I will never go in there again. I hope you dont consider this good customer service.... Not sure I ever visit this store again. Do you read the reviews written???

Its clean, people are helpful, and its always well stocked. Great prices on cereal, soup, boxed foods, and personal care products. I do a lot of shopping here and their Cartwheel app helps me save money. Havent had a bad experience and Ive been shopping here for years.

I ran out of an ink cartridge and needed to print. I looked at Target and they had one. I ordered it and within 30 min. they got back to me and I went to get it. When I arrived at the store they asked if anyone was there for pick-up They were great I was in the store for only 5 minutes. I will do this again.GREAT!

It seem all of the Targets are mort interested in the liquor department then the grocery. Sadly in the last 5 years their grocery have declined

Not my favorite target, signs for deals can be old, then you make your purchase choices and go to the register and get confused and they arent particularly nice. Once the signs must have just been wrong because I took a picture of it and went to check out and they said no that cant be right that promotion would be bad for us, they must not have meant this item, the item was clearly stated on the sign card. They refused to give the discount.Its a smaller location so the fresh food isnt as good.All that being said I still love target and come here fairly regularly, I just expect service to be a step or 2 down from other targets

It’s okay for a target. More recently finding a lot of past year clearance items back on shelves with the stickers half ripped off. Not sure if that’s normal or just due to what’s happening.

I love our Palatine Illinois Target. HOWEVER the bathroom is disgustingly filthy. Not sure how that happens when the rest of the store is always on point. I literally just came from the airport and the bathrooms there are 100% cleaner. And the filth begins before you even enter. The red door is black from filth around the push plate. Please clean your bathroom.

Easy ordering online and pick up without any hassle. Customer service was very quick and workers there very friendly.

This Target is BY FAR the worst Target I have ever went to. I first wanted to buy a video game that was limited to one person. There was 2 left. An older lady said i will buy it and they said no because they feared it would go to me. The kid behind the counter, Id say around 25 thought he was the CEO of Target, which he would never be as his customer service was the worst I have ever witnessed. He took the game I had out of my hands and said now you dont get any game. I got 2 managers involved and I was able to purchase the 1 game and even then, the guy manager was terrible and had a bad attitude, but the girl had a more pleasant attitude. They said they have the right to refuse to sell anything to anyone, which I know is a law, but do they want to make money? Do they want customers to come back? Or do they want to leave a SALTY taste in their mouth forever. Seriously, I will NEVER go back to this store. The whole Management team and staff are the worst I have EVER witnessed. It was like I was in a different country. Last time I checked this is America. SO they sent the kid on break because he clearly had issues, saw him go to the bathroom, maybe he was holding in a dump, and I proceed to exit the Target. While I was leaving the parking lot... someone slammed into my right side of my rental vehicle while backing out and didnt look. Not only are the Staff terrible,so are the people who shop here. Now my neck aches and I have to deal with insurance. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN AND I WARN ANYONE WHO DOES, THEY MAY EXPERIENCE THE SAME LEVEL OF DISRESPECT I DID. TO MAKE matters even worse, I called the store back and asked for the manager. I waited and he said we are busy call back later. I then called back and asked for electronics I think it was option 2. And got a manager on the phone. Her name was Brittany. She as well had attitude and just made me want to scream as she cannot resolve any issues what so ever and is completely incompetent in customer service or calming down a customer. I WARN EVERYONE, never again. It was like I was in a 3rd world country. IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD BUT 1 IS THE LOWEST I COULD PUT. I HOPE THE CEO of Target Brian Cornell reads this and makes a change at this store. I FEEL LIKE THROWING UP. never ever ever ever again will I visit this store or recommend going.

I love to order things online to pickup, the time it takes for order to be ready is outstanding!! My Walmart takes hours and hours to get order ready, where as Target has it ready within about 30 minutes!

Target is a decent place to shop. The store I went to was a bit disorganized especially in the shoe department. The first aid section did not have a good selection of Ace bandage wraps and the pharmacy staff was too busy chatting with each other to help out. There also is never enough registers opened it seems. They are always calling people up to the registers.

The store is a joke none of their equipment works. You cannot check the registry section because their tablets never seem to be charged. The only thing that gives me joy, is knowing that the sun will explode eventually and it will get rid of Target forever

This isn’t a super target so don’t anticipate variety when it comes to their produce section. You can however find plenty of boxed and or frozen food items.The check out lines are a hassle. It seems most are closed at times and there is always a wait to check out the self check out line.

Place is unorganized and restrooms are unsanitary.Clothes on the floor everywhere and very poor lightening. This place is way overdue for some remodeling.The security officers that wear “security” in big bold letters that stand at the exits are tasteless can’t you use a little discretion, I mean I shouldn’t feel like I’m a criminal every time I exit this store.

The only downside is bad cell phone come connection.... You have to connect to Targets WiFi.... Also associates look always tired... doesntTarget dont give a 10 mins break??
