I was recommended to AAR by a friend because my usual shop could not get me in for 5 days, I called Jerry and he was so great! A calm confident voice on the phone, clearly he had been around the shop a time or two! :) He had me in that morning, and had me on my way! Replaced my parts with better than he took off, and even showed me the damaged parts! I am so glad I called, I definitely have a new shop!

I came in today (Super Bowl Sunday!) because while I was running errands to prepare for the evening, my vehicle started vibrating and smelling of something burning. I googled “auto repair shops open today” and American Automotive came up. I drove up on a whim. Jerry asked me what he could do to help. I said that I wasn’t sure if he could help me, but I relayed my car symptoms. He took a quick look and in under 3 minutes was able to tell exactly what the problem was. My brakes were malfunctioning and a couple parts needed replaced. The vehicle was not drive-able without causing further damage. He was very busy, but allowed me to run to get the parts and he fixed my vehicle in a little over an hour. I couldn’t believe his kindness. To top it off, he is so smart. He told me in detail why things went bad. I will always come back to American Automotive when I need things fixed on my vehicle. I told all of my friends that I had over for the game about my experience, and made sure they knew where to take their vehicles for repair. What an amazing human being Jerry is! Thank you for saving my day!

Jerry has always been so helpful Every time Ive needed him. He is a good dude with a great personality. We have had alot of car issues and he has always been honest with what needed to be fixed compared to what ALL needed to be fixed. He is trustworthy and honest.

After my truck sprang a coolant leak, I searched all over town and read reviews on every mechanic nearby, which that led me to Jerry at American automotive. I was extremely pleased with my experience with Jerry and American Automotive. My truck was fixed in a timely manner and Jerry was a professional all the way around. I prefer keeping my business local as much as possible, so I will certainly be returning to Jerry with whatever work I need done again.

Pretty much exactly what others have said. Decided to go there to have him look at a used up truck. Jerry shot me straight and couldnt have been more pleased with his advice. He certainly could have advised some costly repair work, but he didnt. Other places in town would have charged even for a diagnostic visit but he didnt even do that. Upfront and honest person who could teach a lot of other people on how to run a reputable place.

I have always had great experiences at this shop. He is very honest and that is hard to come by in a mechanic. This is the only place me and my daughter will take our cars. As a woman it feels good to know you are getting treated fairly and with respect.

Ive had two different vehicles worked on at this shop. I had an excellent experience both times, Jerry is a straight shooter the only tell you what needs replaced as opposed to what could be replaced. Some shops will tell you something needs replaced when in reality it could be replaced and theyre counting on your ignorance. Not here, I had a major suspension failure after sliding off the road during a snowstorm Im Jerrys estimate and repair was half the price of another shops who were attempting to pressure me into replacing additional parts. I of course went with Jerry; the repairs he made 5 years ago to last to this day without replacing additional parts like the other shop were attempting to pressure me to do. His prices are extremely competitive how always shoot you straight on what needs replaced versus what could be replaced. An overall excellent experience;hes also honest about what a vehicle is not worth repairing i e an older used car that has several major issues. this is the only place I will take my vehicles and I also recommend it to all my friends
