My credit card was refused (I later found out I hadn’t activated the card). This was Friday late afternoon. A nice man took me to a branch of my bank I don’t use, I didn’t know it was closed, just the ATM was open and the line ended in LA. We went to my regular bank by then the bank was closed. You can only get so much cash and I was $408 and change short. We went back to the store. I called my sister and she was going to put the rest on a card. They told me I could bring the rest of the money in Saturday morning, and let me take my car home. To say I was shocked doesn’t cover it❗️❗️I had been getting my tires there for a while but WOW! I was there with the cash next morning . Also my ride was much smoother with the “struts “ and new tires. I know they went above and beyond for me and I really appreciated their kindness and the work on my car🙂

Needed new tires on labor day weekend and the staff was very helpful in getting that done. Got a set of Nexen p5000 plus tires and they are very quiet and smooth. Only problem was the price, I definitely had to pay way too much for a budget brand set ($940.00). Was definitely way cheaper everywhere else for the same set of tires, wish I got some sort of rebate to remedy this wallet dent. 😅

On 8/16/2021 I went to the Oxnard store to get an Oil change and have my tires rotated and re-balanced per the road hazard warranty I purchased when my tires were replaced at this store several years ago. After a brief period of my car being in the service bay the person manning the front counter asked me to come into the service area to look at something. He showed me the edge of my front drivers side tire and said that it was worn out and that my tires needed to be replaced. I declined to have my tires replaced because I work from home now and no longer do I drive all that much. Besides, these tires are only 40000 miles into a 60000 mile life warranty, and only have been worn down to 7/32 of an inch. I stated that the only services I wanted that day were the oil change and tire rotation/ balancing work that I originally requested. He agreed. When my car was checked out I noticed that the tires were all in their original positions. When I went back to the front counter I was told with the corners of the tires worn that they couldnt be touched. At no point prior to me checking out and paying for the oil change did he ever state that the tires couldnt be rotated or balanced. At no point was I offered the sale of replacement tires with a prorated discount for the balance of the life left in the warranty for the tires purchased at that store. I believe that the salesman was on a fishing expedition for a big sale and when that failed, customer service and respect were taken off the menu of services provided to me.

Larry and his team did a great job representing American tire depot. I’ve recently acquired a 2003 Ford which eliminated a car payment but requires much work. I needed a whole full set of tires and of course later found out (although I suspected) brake work. Doubling the initial large ticket purchase price this was a necessary and mandatory purchase. American tire depot had some of the best prices and best warranty for the work completed. It was a tough pill to swallow but Larry communicated the entire process and made sure I was taken care of. I’ve been a customer of this company at various locations for over 15 years and they’ve been consistent competitors in the industry.

Friendly assistant, fast check in and out. I didnt feel pressure to buy other tires at higher prices, the front desk assistant (I forgot his name but I think he said Oscar) stayed within my budget! Low prices guarantee. I will recommend this tire shop and will go back again. Awesome!

Clean store, restrooms. Needs more sitting area and maybe a vending machine. Got my tires replaced. Slight delay in getting tires I ordered. 1 day late. Staff is friendly and polite. Offer to check charging system for free before just replacing battery.

I have taken 3 vehicles to this shop and they are always very knowledgeable and their prices are usually as low as something you might find online. Recently I had trouble once they installed 4 tires and did alignment. The next day I noticed it was pulling to one side I called them and they told me to come in and made it top priority to fix it. They test drove it and fine tuned the alignment twice on there machine. Got it back and its never been more stable. Larry will give you a great deal and is always honest about prices.

Larry is THE BEST!! I came in with a questionable tire. He quickly looked inside to see if it really needed replacing. Then took the safest route to keep me safe. He ordered the tire for the next day and did it all under my warranty. I cannot express how thankful I am for him and American Tire Depot. Go see Larry and his team! You won’t regret it! He has a customer for life in me now!

I dont usually post a review unless my experience is really good or bad. Unfortunately in this case, its bad.My wife bought four tires from American Tire Depot and free tire patches are offered with the purchase. A nail was lodged in one of the tires so...The portly gentleman at the front desk of the Oxnard/Vineyard location told me I would have to wait 3-4 hours to get the tire patched. Perhaps understandable, but I didnt notice many customers or vehicles that would justify the long wait.The next day I dropped my wife off to have the tire patched. She was called thirty minutes later and told the tread was too low and not only couldnt they patch the tire, she needed four new tires! Not entirely shocking for anyone who has ever dealt with a dishonest auto service shop. This, however, was a particularly egregious lie and one easy to disprove.So we took our car to a different shop in Oxnard and the tire was patched for $10, lol. Its simply amazing to me how little business sense so many people/companies have. Theres so much competition in this space and we wont be doing business with American Tire Depot again, all because this location is dishonest. Caveat emptor dear readers.

The staff were all very friendly. The service guys were fast and competent. They were not pushing for additional services but did make me aware of, in my case, that brake pads and rotor service will be needed soon. Again nice, competent and not pushy.

On August 22 i went to the store on Main Street the tire installers to not follow guidelines on how to balance tires when i talked the the manager there he told me that how his guys do it i ok and he trust themWith that saidToday August 24 i want to the oxnard location completely different experience.When they rebalance my tire none of them where at 0 (zero) reminder just had them in stalled Sunday and not more then 25 miles driven all tires where at .25 and some up to .75Larry and the other gentleman at the counter where very friendly. Took care of the rebalance for free and because of the treatment i got at Main Street locationGave me a free Oil chanceI can highly recommend the Oxnard location

Excellent customer service, not only for me but everyone there. One lady came into the front office 2 minutes before closing with a nail in her tire. Staff greeted her politely and offered to fix her flat on the spot. Her tire depth was not up to code to fix the flat and the service rep professionally went over her options. I also liked how the employees interacted with each other. One employee tapped another on his shoulder while saying “I appreciate you”. That was awesome. Over and above that ; my tire replacement was at the very end of the day too and they stayed open to take care of me. Thank you very much. I appreciate the service.

I went to get a quote for some tires and brakes now here’s the thing I do not drive no fancy car nor does my car have or need fancy or expensive tires. I feel like I was over charged $900 for 4 tires and front brakes. And my car is 2015 sonic chev. I was also told my car needs some additional work and I was quoted 1900.00 dollars so I came home and googled the parts and labor to get an idea and just to check more or less if the price I was given somewhat match and hell no it didn’t. For the kind of car that I have parts cost no more then $450 no more than $500 and labor cost more or less $300 or so let’s say $800-$950 for everything where did the guys that gave me the quote come up with almost $2000 dollars and I truly feel I was overcharged for my tires and brakes. My co worker better car than what I drive he paid $500 for his and manager drives a Camaro and he paid $600 for his work and both got the same work done tires and brakes. These guys ROCK! I’ve been there 5 times in the last 1 1/2 year for different services and always have excellent service. No one is sitting around doing nothing. Never there longer than 1 hour (the key is to call ahead and they will let you know how busy it is). My free tire rotations only take about 30 minutes even on a busy day. They are up front and honest, which anyone that has been to other shops knows, places try to up sale you with other services. Unfortunately I’m moving, or else I would always get me work done there.

Kind service representative that saved me money from online pricing and also got me a tire that was in stock. Timely service and I’m absolutely satisfied with the tired and drive after the alignment.

I have taken multiple vehicles, for many years. Service has suffered, as of late. Took a vehicle in for nail removal. It was close to the sidewall, so I figured I would need to replace it and one other tire...at minimum. Damage was on a rear tire. I purchased two tires. I assumed balance and rotation was standard to installation. No rotation was done. I have no idea if tires were balanced. Both new tires were installed to the rear. The newer tires should go on the front wheels. When I brought it up, I was told I had to ask for those services to be done and if I would like it to be done now. These are not practices that I am used to from Americas Tire nor American Tire Co. I am questioning my loyalty.

Called them in the morning to ask if they had the tires I needed. They didn’t have them in stock but they could get them the same day and installed them. So I dropped my car off at about 11:30 and it was ready 15 minutes after the time they told me it would be. Only reason l don’t give them 5 stars is because they were a little late and they didn’t call me when it was ready. They were very busy, so I understand. I’d recommend this place for new tires.

I have been a customer here for a while. The customer service that I get from everyone here is amazing, including Larry. He always welcomes you and always has a smile. Larry always answers all my questions and concerns regarding my vehicle, which makes me feel comfortable knowing that I can trust this place and always me the best deals in town.

Down side is I was kinda left in the dark about warranty information and benefits after buying all 4 tires. Ill be calling later to ask about it. 5/5 because i was still happy with service.

I first contacted Mr. C. Mendez, of the Oxnard, CA store, over the phone and he was very helpful. Initially, my order was going to be in two parts, due to readily available stock. But Mr. Mendez never settled for a two part order. He continued to work my order and was able to get the entire order filled the same day. Mr. Mendex went above and beyond making sure my order and installation were complete and correct.Thank you Mr. Mendez and thank you American Tire Depot.

2 Alignments in a Day. I could not be happier with how the cars feel now. Martin was fantastic rep and made the entire process quick and easy. I took in a 1996 Corvette and a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring. Both left feeling fantastic. High Recommended.

Went in with a near flat tire and asked for help. They took a look and put it on the rack, took the tire off, plugged 2 holes,Midway through i asked if they could add an oil change,L no problem they said less than hour later they were done with both, didnt charge me for the tire repair and the $20 oil change is a rarity. I had a very positive experience here. I needed very specific Goodyear tires that they were able to obtain within 24 hours for me. They scheduled my installation time, but called me to inform me that the tires had arrived earlier than scheduled and that I could come any time that was convenient for me. They only took 90 minutes to install everything. They guarantee their work. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating. So far, no problems with my tires. I don’t know why my google account did not change, but this is Tori Rogers, not my associate Lisa Chapman.

Booked a last minute online appointment for a tire change a day prior and was assisted by Larry, who is the supervisor and was extremely helpful. After booking the appointment, I actually received a call from him to confirm everything, after store hours. One downside was that I couldn’t get the ‘buy 3 tires and get 1 for free deal’ due to the tires not being in stock, although it was advertised as so. Regardless, Larry was able to special order it and have it delivered before I showed up for my appointment the next day. The service took about 40 minutes and he found it helpful to show all of the wears and tears that my old tires had just for knowledge. Although I didn’t get the 3 for 1 deal, the customer service, warranty, and timing was top of the line, and look forward to returning here for future repairs.

Went in for tires and perhaps some suspension work and was helped by manager who shared extensive knowledge of suspension and tire work to answer the many questions I had. Larry was direct about benefits and drawbacks of several tire+suspension builds that I was interested in. He clearly enjoyed the technical aspects of his profession but made no attempts to over promise or up sell me on any aspect. He then found a promotional discount for my order and the work was completed in time promised. I left feeling satisfied I had purchased the appropriate setup for my personal needs.

Went to get work done and initially was quoted a bit over $700.00. Eventually the discounted it by $100.00. When they ran my credit card they charged the original quote. When I caught it they said they couldn’t back out the charge so they would issue a $100.00 refund which I’d receive by the next day. When it didn’t show up in three days I called and suddenly it would take up to three weeks. At four weeks I called and was told it should be coming and someone would call me back. No one called me back so a did a one star review on Yelp. Got a response to call the District Manager which I did but had to leave a message. He never called back so I kept calling until I reached him and he assured me I’d get the refund in the next day - within 24 hours. It’s now four days, 96 hours, later and no refund. I’m writing a review here and making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Need work done on your car? DON’T GO HERE!

Made a same day appointment to have slow tire leaks patched and a brake inspection. Work was finished in the amount of time quoted, and I was charged a fair price for front brake replacements and tire repair. The only problem was my brakes still squeaked for two months after. After I took the car back in, they said I needed new back brakes, four new tires and some other repair I cant recall. I declined and said to just fix the squeak from the front brakes theyd just put in. Thats when i was told one of the employees liked my car and had been looking for one in such good shape! Needless to say, I left and will not return.
