I took my 1950 Chevy pickup to Maaco in Overland Park to have the body work and paint completed on it. From day one working with Blue was a great experience. She was so thorough during our meetings and she provided excellent communication throughout the process. Her staff did an amazing job. They were so thorough on the body work (Pappy) and did an awesome job on the paint. I would highly recommend them for your daily driver or your classic car. I already have plans to take them another project.Attached are photos showing the truck. Restoration is not complete yet but I am just loving how it looks.

I had a full body paint job done on my mustang. The paint quality is very nice and looks good, but there were many mistakes made in the painting process. I had the car painted about 7 months ago. There was overspray EVERYWHERE, they dont spend much time or effort in taping off body parts and trim. There are several spots where they sprayed too much or too little. There is a spot on the front bumper where they applied to much clear coat and there is a dried drip there.Probably the worst of it is the roof. A few days after the paint job was completed, a crack in the paint formed on the roof. They claim there is a warranty, so I took it back to have it looked at. The manager tried to blame me and said I scratched it, but the crack was under the clearcoat! Once I pointed that out, she tried to tell me it has always been there and did not just recently form. But I THOROUGHLY checked the car the day I picked it up, and there definitely was not a crack there. The manager then went and spoke with the painters and she said the roof was scratched in multiple places and they just painted over it. They didnt fill in the scratches because I did not request it. IF I HAD KNOWN THERE WERE SCRATCHES, I WOULD HAVE REQUESTED IT AND PAID THE EXTRA. 7 Months later the roof is COVERED in the paint cracks, and they claim the warranty does not cover it SMH.I had to get the roof wrapped to hide these ugly cracks. Overall pretty poor service, the paint color is the only quality they possess. I would have left 3 stars if I had been notified about the scratches on the roof.Not much service or skills.

Took my project, a 1987 4Runner, to Maaco for body work and a paint job. Michelle in the office provided me with excellent communication and the gentleman who did the body work exceeded all of my expectations. I uploaded a couple before and after pictures of the 4Runner.

Worst customer experience we’ve ever had. Told 4 days. Took a month. Never called with updates. We had to hound them to get the job done and then when we expressed dissatisfaction with their level of professionalism they threatened to negatively review OUR business. Gen manager called four times, no call backs, corporate same thing...will never work with them again.

Told 5 days, got back at 8 days. Sloppy paint job. No update calls whatsoever. And already have to go to another body shop to get the paint job fixed. You can make your own assumptions from this review without me having to spell it out for you. Really research where you want body paint done because this is not the place.

Car was painted sloppy lost 2 decals from the back of my car..white substance on the fender and on the back and around the edges.. manager said it was wax from buffing.substance wouldnt come off went back manager said we didnt wax and buff..tried for weeks to get her to try and fix.. basically saying were short so I guest Im screwed...was going to bring another car to get painted..not!!!!..go somewhere else trust me!

They did an excellent job repairing my car. The car is kind of a different color and they took great care to match it. Cant tell anything ever happened. Second time I have used them and would definitely use them again!

I took an older car there to get repainted. Visited with the manager and came up with a plan. She thought the least expensive option would be fine. While I have only had the repainted car for a few days, I am quite happy with it. For the price charged it looks very good. Hopefully it will hold up for several years.

So far I have nothing positive to say about this company. I went in there and got a quote. I also requested to see some of their work, because of reviews about orange peel. Orange peel in a paint job, when paying $1,400 for a paint job is ridiculous. So I requested to see some of their work. They told me they do not allow customers to view other vehicles. So you have no idea of what your end result is going to look like after spending several thousands of dollars. I thought that was bad business and rude.

The painting job is very well done. The staff is courteous and professional. My work was finished early. I am very pleased with their service.

I took them my 1970 Chevy pickup to be painted back to its original colors and have body work/rust removal done, I can not wait for the classic automobile shows to start again so I can show off the quality of work that Maaco provided me!

I recently had some work on my car to repair some major rust damage, Im talking about a big hole in the bottom of my door and side skirt! Many places dont even offer rust repair and if so it was very expensive! Brent was wonderful, very friendly and truly cared about taking care of my concerns. He inspected the vehicle and got the manager Jarrod involved in helping me with a great price to get it fixed within my budget. They assured me that my car was still great and worth saving as many repair places said my car was just junk. Wow, they did excellent work! I am extremely grateful to them for making my car look brand new! Thanks guys, you truly saved the day!!

The main thing I’ve got parts missing from my car . Car was not cleaned had to go back more than once trying to pick up my car and still have to go back trying to retrieve my parts. Try to get the number to the corporate office lady said she didn’t have it but looked it up before trying to verify the work I had done before .Which I don’t think they honored my original warrantyPS didn’t want to give them one star because the only way I can post this review

Maaco, Overland Park, did a fantastic job repainting my 2001 Honda Odyssey that had a lot of clear coat failure and sun damage. The van looks brand new. The office manager was super helpful and answered all my questions. Although I live in Blue Springs, MO, I was willing to drive to this specific Maaco based on its good reviews. It was worth the drive.

I went in not sure how to proceed, as ive never had a full body paint job before. Blue was very nice and helped me through the process. I got to meet one of there mechanics and i was impressed by how enthusiastic he is about his profession, truly wanted to progress as an artistic custom painter. As with most 87 fieros, issues came up that they immediately got ahold of me, described my options and how i wanted to proceed. One accident did happen that damaged a small part of the finished paint job, i was told immediately with a sincere apology and was fixed at no cost to me. Very very happy with my paint job. It is outstanding. And will be back with anymore future project.

I had a great experience at this Maaco. Douglas was very helpful in deciding what needed to be done to my car & laying out all my options. They took care of the driver door replacement as part of collision repair, and switched everything over. The paint job is incredible! Douglas didnt pressure me to choose one option over another, and said hed make it as pretty as he could within my budget. I was impressed with the result! I chose the dual coat in one, and was a little worried about how it would turn out, but it looks amazing! I can be proud of my car again!

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the old franchises about 3yrs ago. Not a good experience. I went back a year ago and had them give me an estimate on my car that had been hit. Im soo glad that I did. I found out that the franchise had changed hands. What a difference! They did much more than bend over backwards. I was so happy that I brought them my truck. Another success story. What can I say besides thanks.

I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done on my daughters 2013 Hyundai. It looks like a brand new car now. Douglass was excellent and very professional to work with. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and I had a time frame I needed the car back and he made sure it happened. I wanted the seats cleaned and they normally they may not do that, but Douglass said they would do it and again did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them and when my daughter saw her car she just was so amazed how beautiful her car looked.

The most honest guys you will ever find. I will trust them blindly. All nearby collision shops gave me quote upwards $2000 but Maaco did it for free, turns out all others were just trying to fool me. I appreciate the honesty. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This store has the absolute worst customer service Ive seen in my life. They completed the repair and painting of my cars hood in a very reasonable time frame but we had a problem. The tape they used to protect my front left panel, pulled off a 2 by 5 portion of my cars paint. The manager claimed the front panel was previously repaired and painted over so they were not responsible for this new problem. After some arguing the manager did say he would cover half of the cost to repair and paint the front panel but I would have to pay the other half. I informed the manager my HOOD was previously damaged by someone using a sharp instrument on it but it was the only thing previously repaired. The manager started shouting at me saying why should he get stuck covering the whole cost of the panel. The manager, of Hispanic decent, repeatedly shouted at me and made an advance toward me in which I felt threatened. I did not raise my voice to him but held firm that I shouldnt have to pay for it. The manager started to retreat back into the building but then shouted at me to bring the car back on Monday and he would eat the cost. He then said I was never to come back to this store. I did not bring the car back to him as I felt threatened and didnt know what internal damage he might do to my car should I have returned to his store.

Blue is a great person, was very helpful, a person of strong faith, and was willing to work with me on what I needed. Im thankful I was able to meet her and was able to get my car worked on at her shop.

One of my worst customer experiences ever.Took my car in for some minor repairs on back panel and front bumper. When they were fixing my front bumper, they damaged the headlamp. The headlamp is a sealed/adaptive headlamp, very expensive to fix. When I called them back the next day and told them they damaged the headlamp, the manager vehemently denied it without asking for any details, almost as if he knew. He did not say let me check with the person who repaired it and did not ask me to bring it back in to look at it. He said they did not touch the light but they took the bumper off and it sits on the lower edge of headlamp, so they had to touch it.I told him the warning message in the car is very apparent. There was no warning message regarding my headlamps before I took it in and the headlamp was not fogged up (it was sealed tight) and now I have a warning message and the light is fogged up and clearly the seal is broken. He then said I should call the manufacturer, maybe there is a defective light/recall. I was incredulous. I asked him if he was suggesting that the light just happened to become defective while it was in their shop while they were repairing/removing the bumper and all of this was just a coincidence and he said I guess so.I then sent in a complaint on their website with explicit details of what occured and received no call or email back. This is a $1k cost to repair the light, which is twice what it cost to have the minor repairs done.The most tragic customer experience I have ever received, blatant incompetence and I will never take a vehicle to any Maaco shop again.

I had my car painted here about a month ago. In that time an area they repaired has sepereated from the metal and appears rusty now. The paint has 4 spots about dime size where it just began to separate from the body. Also my brand new soft top has paint covering it in multiple spots, and my exhaust is now blue along with rear axle, control arms, and gas tank from over spray.

Douglas has always taken good care of us when we need to get our service vehicle painted our custom big bird yellow. He has been great over the years delivering a consistent, beautiful product at a reasonable price.

Front office is clue less and makes excuses. What ever date they give you don’t trust it.

Told them when I dropped the vehicle off on Monday that I HAD to have the vehicle back by Friday. Was told on Friday that I would not have the vehicle back until the following week.No apologies, nothing but excuses. WILL NEVER RETURN!!!

Took my vehicle to Maaco for an estimate. Brent told me it would cost $530. I took the same vehicle to Eveland Bros. Collision Repair and the estimator there told me it was just a simple paint transfer and he would take my car and have it cleaned up right then and there free of charge. What a difference in service. Maaco was going to make $530 on something that took 5 minutes to fix.

We have done business with them on several occasions. They are always professional and courteous. We will continue to use them for all of our car needs.

Took my sons 1997 Camaro for a repaint. Ive dealt with body shops for a long time. Its about what youd expect for a $600 paint job. Car looks a lot better, but there were dust particles, orange peel and fish eyes and other imperfections in the paint when viewed up close. Id say the car went from its 20 foot paint job to about a 5 foot paint job. They sanded off some of the high spots and appears the tape job was decent...not much over spray. Shop did neglect to return the front license plate bracket. Now I have to drive back to retrieve it. You get what you pay for. For comparison, I just finished restoring a classic car. The cost for body and paint was close to $5K (at a MUCH better shop). MAACO is the Walmart of body/paint outfits. Again, you get what you pay for. No customer service to speak of. Would I use them again? Probably, if I need a cheap, quick paint job on a teens first ride or to freshen up a car to sell.

I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this bodyshop. My son got in an accident with his 2001 Camry. The first place we took the car gave us an estimate of $5200 to make the car look like it had before the accident. I took my estimate from that body shop to Maaco and talked to Daniel. He said they could definately slash a bunch off of that price. Maaco arranged for a tow from the first body shop for under a hundred bucks and put the car back together like new for $3200. Yes -- $2000 less!! So am I happy??Absolutely! My son is ultimately paying this bill, so needless to say hes extactic!” I have posted reviews elsewhere on behalf of this bodyshop to show my appreciation

I got the Factory Professional grade, the most expensive package. They painted my 2002 Camaro Z28 and it had imperfections such as chips and runs. Also, they damaged both driver side and passenger side windows and to cover it up, they tried to sand it down. I find out its damaged because I went through a car wash and waters leaking in!!!! For $5,000 spent, such a rip off

Great Location!

DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!!! They fixed our door and front fender but now our car leaks when it rains and they refuse to even look at the car, claiming that they did not do anything to our door. I want everyone to know that we had terrible customer service and want to warn people away from here.

Decided to not use them because they couldnt even PICK up the phone. I tried calling on a couple of different occasions to get an estimate on painting the hood of my car. I kept getting transferred to someone who obviously never picks up the phone. Very frustrating.
