Bob Allen Ford may have the worst service center I have dealt with. I have had my work van In to their service department multiple times, once for a transmission light and once starting issues, both times I was told my vehicle was fixed, both times my van ended up breaking down for the same issue I brought it in to get addressed originally. 1st the transmission 2nd the thermostat was starting to fail. For the thermostat I was told it was only low on fluid, I ended up having to get towed back the same day after I was told it was fixed. I made the mistake of buying a personal vehicle there, they have had my truck since Wednesday night looking for a water leak because I was getting substantial water in driver side floor board. I was told after two days that they found the leak but I was on my own for paying the repair cost which it was surely leaking before I bought it I just keep it in the garage so I never have it in rain. Even if I have to pay to have it fixed that would be acceptable but the lack of communication from the service department is astounding, I never received a call once about an update on the status of my truck I had to call each time. Each time I called they service manager would stumble through the notes to try to figure out what was done to it. Today I pick it up and was honestly not that surprised to that my truck was in worse shape than I dropped it off. A pillar handle was loose, weatherstripping wasn’t reinstalled properly, I took the cover off they didn’t reconnect the wires behind the A pillar and the handle bolts were only finger tight. I am would rather pay to have my vehicle fixed than have to deal with Bob Allen Ford again.

I was having some trouble with my Ford Fiesta, so I brought it to this dealership and it couldn’t have gone smoother! They genuinely do not try and rip you off like a lot of car places do. Jeremiah in the service department was very transparent and genuinely cared about getting my car back to me as soon as possible. They also have a courtesy shuttle to bring you back to your house after you drop your car off or bring you to the dealership to pick up your car! Thank you Jeremiah and Bob Allen Ford for a seamless experience! I will definitely be back if I’m having any other issues with my car.

I have a great experience here at Bob Allen, the buying process is simple, straight forward, and relax. I swing by the dealer to look at the Shelby GT350 that they have in the showroom.I barely spent 10 seconds looking at the Shelby before Dylan McKee came over and said hi. He is friendly, courteous, give me time/space to look at the car. He told me what I need to know about the car and doesnt makes up random answers. I really appreciate his honesty and his approach in working with me.It took me about a week to decide on trading in my Lexus RCF for the Shelby. During that time, Dylan introduced me to my service advisor, Jeremiah Morgan, and gave me a tour of service area. Im glad to see that the shop is organized and clean; its a reflection that technicians and mechanics here take pride in their work.Jeremiah Bland (finance manager) got my paperwork done quickly, I was in and out of his office in about 30 minutes.I have purchased high-performance vehicles through many dealers in KC metro such as Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City, Superior Lexus, Aristocrat, and Shawnee Mission Audi. With that said, my buying experience here at Bob Allen is on par with these luxury dealerships.

We ordered a convertible mustang. The car is exactly what I ordered.But when they made an offer for our trade in, they were insulting. Then when the manager tried to explain and I asked him to stop, he wouldnt. The manager was rude and only thought about what he wanted. He had no concern for my feelings. Jerome the salesman was good and tried to cover and make up for his managers lack of care.I do not recommend this company.

Got oil change for my car, and then got back in my car and my seat my steering wheel and everything was moved! I understand they need to get in vehicles but it never feels like you get it back the same place driving away! And in my case it was not something was stuck when moving my seat back up, and they came out to fix said it was ok but its not so I have to make another trip over so I can reach the steering wheel! But other than that they always have taken care of everything nice, friendly, but a bit of a wait!

I received better customer service from Larry, the gentleman that drives the shuttle. I know we are all trying to make it in these trying times, but the technician thats taking the money out of our hard earned pockets should brush up on some customer service skills. You never know what other people are battling...If you dont make connections, you lose business.I pride myself in customer service and I do my best to go above and beyond... Im not looking for a handout, just wouldve been thoughtful to at least remember to put my car through the car wash instead of having another technician clean up the mess youve made. Offer my first oil change is on us, but instead I will no longer be doing business with them. The manager was very nice and listened, unfortunately it was not enough.Thanks...but Im also not independently wealthy to have my car serviced and to suggest maintenance with the current mileage when it isnt necessary... nice try!

I bought 4 new vehicles in 5 or 6 years. After taking my F-150 in for service the washer fluid quit working. When I took it back their service dept told me that I was to low on the priority totem pole and that they didnt have time to mess with me. Now I am paying out of my own pocket for the service I paid them for and the repair of the damage they created. I will never set foot there again.

Bob Allen is one of the only dealerships I will continue to go to. The entire team is so helpful. Mike Madrid is wonderful to work with. Went to get my transmission replaced because its under warranty. It was ready for pick up the next day which was nice. A few days later Im trying to go at a stop light and my car wont move forward. Transmission still shudders and crunches after the new one was put in.A month ago I brought the car in to have the AC motor fixed and they said they could fix it. They said they fixed it but nothing had changed. The blower still doesnt work while set to head and feet.

Just want to say the professional client services from Chris Galvan from start to finish at Bob Allen Ford was the greatest experience! We came in at closing time and Chris made sure to hunt the car down and give us a true salesmen layout of the car and make sure to go over the complete car (my sons first car) with the features and items we searched for that no other dealer could match in Bob Allens inventory. We had a struggle to get the car back due to my schedule and my son working all the time, but Chris Galvan said No Problem I will be happy to get it to you! First off this was a first and we will let all our friends know to come to Bob Allen Ford!

Never felt pressured to buy and when I noticed a problem with the truck I was looking at they took it into the shop to find the issue and never tried to hide the problem or up sell me. Updated Post: Bob Allen reached out to me promptly and offered to have me bring my car back in so they could spend more time on it and get it looking great. They seemed very passionate about their business and customer service. I will update this review and rating further after they finish making adjustments to my car. Its nice to know that they care about the customers satisfaction well after the transaction. Most places would not. For that reason I will continue to take my car here because I know that if something isnt the way it should be they will happily work with me on it to fix any issues. If everything looks good after they are finished Id be happy to recommend their collision repair center to others. Ill also post updated photos.Original Post:I went to Bob Allen because my insurance recommended them and they had good reviews on Google. My car was hit by a deer and needed both doors on the drivers side replaced, both quarter panels on the drivers side repaired, the front hood repaired, and a completely new rear bumper installed. It was approximately a $7000 job. It has been just a couple months since this work was done and already I can tell it was not quality work. As you can see on my attached images, the rear bumper does not stay latched to the body, the chrome stripe on the drivers door does not line up with the rest of the car, and the plastic seam on the window is popped out. Multiple seems on the panels do not line up well. I am happy with the paint job they did on all components that needed to be installed and repaired but the installation itself is not well done. It seems like it may have been rushed. Not what I was expecting from a dealership like this. At this time I cant recommend them or provide more than a 1 star rating. My car does not look like an accident never happened and I believe thats what youre paying for when you go to a body shop.

Probably the most pleasant buying experience Ive ever had and Ive probably purchased 15+ cars from different dealerships. Just over 2 weeks ago I was I combed in a MVA. I had my Explorer towed to Bob Allen’s body shop for repair. Chico in the body shop was kind and helpful, he kept in contact with me and let me know how the repair was going.I came down with COVID right as the repair work was being completed on my car. I stead of making me find someone to pickup my SUV at the dealership, Chico delivered it to my house.This kind of caring and personalized attention is just one of the many reasons to use Bob Allen. Had a signed document with salesman for purchase of 2020 truck after a lengthy but pleasant negotiation. Document was signed by me and the salesman. Sales manager then came out and tried to renege on the deal and renegotiate trade value and one other term. I stood up and walked out. Sales manager literally chased me to my vehicle still trying to renegotiate and eventually said he would honor original deal. Bob Allen Ford will never get one penny of my hard earned dollars. They just lost a potential customer and sale because of a few hundred dollars by playing games. Jerome the salesman is a very nice young man. The sales manager behaved like a fool, who for a few hundred dollars lost a sale and a handsome profit. Sticker on the truck before discounts was $45K. Sale and customer were lost over $250 in trade value and the cost to install a bed liner.

As a first time car buyer I didnt know what to expect from the car buying process. My first experience was really great at Bob Allen. Andrew helped me understand the benefits of buying new vs used and he made the whole process of purchasing a vehicle easy to follow. He was able to answer all my questions. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need, and the things that were offered to me were good values and a good investment for the longevity of my new car. I really enjoyed my experience and thought it was easy vs what I expected. One day when im in the market again im sure ill be a returning customer. I contacted several dealerships to help us and I have to say Bob Allen Ford was by far the best of any of the other Ford dealerships in the Kansas City area. Dustee was our sales person and did a fantastic job with her communication and follow up. She was out of the office for a couple of days and Kellie stepped in to help. Last year I went into Bob Allen Ford because I was having trouble opening my trunk. I left my car there for the day. I was quoted this problem as a $600 repair. They said an animal probably got under my car and chewed through the wiring. They called with the quote and I asked for some time to discuss with my family and think it over. They then called me 3 more times in a span of a couple hours asking if I decided. I told them I would pass for now while I looked for a second opinion and after having to mention a made up husband, they finally left me alone. A few weeks after my visit I realized my tag light was also out. I finally got around to getting my car to another shop. This mechanic found the wires that are pictured and cut right in half hidden under the carpet in my trunk. He told me that we didn’t need the parts he ordered because everything would work perfectly once these wire were repaired, all for $185 . Bob Allen fixed my trunk without my authorization, tried to scam me out of $600, and when I said “no” they cut all the wires including my previously working tag light. I am in disbelief that a company and the service department would approve of this behavior and work ethic. Disgusting.

Dealt with Mike Brown, expected my car to be down for at least 2 days. 2 1/2 hours later he calls and informs us that the car is not only ready, but that they ran a diagnostic that came back clear. Ive never had that happen before. He was professional, informative and didnt try to con us into unnecessary repairs. I know where Ill be taking my beloved fusion from now on

Im not one to pay attention to reviews. All the reviews of his dealership service department are spot-on. Extremely overpriced and I didnt even diagnose my vehicle properly. Ended up coming and picking up my vehicle and taking it to another repair facilitie. With my own eyes I seen a few things they lied to me on. So they cant come back and say they diagnosed it wrong. Got to love it when you pay $170 for them to diagnose your vehicle wrong. Stay away from the service facility as they will cheat you. I recommend using the better business bureau and disputing their BS diagnosis fee. Stay away!!!

Jerome T was amazing. He was so personable, and he was interested in helping me find the best fit for me, despite his opinions. He came in and helped out overtime just to find me the perfect match. He was available at all times of the day so I could contact him with any specific questions. Although he works in sales, he is genuinely interested in people and getting to know them. I ended buying a Ford Fusion Hybrid and I couldnt be happier. The day of purchase he personally took the car for a spin to QT to fill up the gas. Great experience.

She tried to book an appointment on 12/28/2020 and they told her just bring it by. So yesterday, she went to Bob Allen Ford and they were too busy to service her car. Got my windshield replaced, 1st windshield seemed to be on the low end. The logo was placed on it incorrectly and you couldnt see it from outside and the laminate had specks of dirt that could be seen when the windshield was wet. It was pretty bad and hard to drive with but thank God that it cracked. The new windshield was done correctly and you can now see the logo from outside and Jeremy was great to work with.

I’ve been extremely disappointed as a ford customer. On a nice day leaving the gym I came out to find my back window shattered. After making a police report and reviewing video tape it was clear that my window had spontaneously shattered. I was confused but apparently this is something other customers have been experiencing. Ford was unwilling to cover or assist with the cost of labor or replacement, even with a police report stating the evidence. I was told they would not cover it because I didn’t not purchase the car brand new. Even though I bought the vehicle less than a year old with 19,000 miles on it. So I had to pay $1,000 to replace the back window.Many people working at the Ford service center also informed me that back windows in many ford models are shattering, as well as the panoramic sunroofs! - How is this ok?? Or safe??Not too long after this, My back hatch refused to open. (There is no way to open it manually). After hours of trouble shooting, I had to take it back to Ford. They replaced the latch for a cost of $609.Ford should stand behind their vehicles.They were given clear evidence that the window they installed shattered randomly and they did not think to install a manual release for their hatch back.These are 2 examples of things happening to many customers. They are not making recalls or standing behind their product. They are charging the customer and I will not be Ford customer again in the future, unless they start standing behind their product.

I have to share the experience my son wife and I had this Saturday at Bob Allen. Gary was the first point of contact this morning when I was browsing the web doing my research on purchasing a truck. Gary was very helpful. When I got there, Kevin, the General Sales Manager greeted me and had no problem helping out until Gary was available. Team work!!! The whole process was very smooth. No pushy sales pitch very informative. I mean all the way to the end of the process with Steve. Man he was a magician with how he makes things happen. Steve is very helpful. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Bob Allen Ford. My salesman was condescending, and hesitant to even check my car out because “it’s going to be very hard to get it squeak free”. Even though my husband had called that morning and was told to bring in the car, the salesman had no idea I was coming and told me no one had any recollection of talking to my husband. I will not be returning to Bob Allen Ford nor would I recommend them.

This review is more solely focused the new Bob Allen Mobile Service - IT WAS AMAZING!! Shane & Travis were super helpful! My car died since I havent been driving much due to Covid. I needed a new battery, air in my tires, new windshield wipers, oil change, and a new air vent - they did it all so quickly!! All while I was still able to work from home. It was super convenient and Im so happy they are offering this service now. I will definitely continue to use it in the future. No more waiting in lines, having to sit and wait to get your oil changed, etc. Literally USE this service. You will be so happy.

I should start out by saying my first experience with this dealership was five months ago when I needed new tires. Great experience- easy to work with, my service consultant, Chase, was fantastic to work with. price was fair, as was the time it took to perform the service.On November 21st, 2017, I came in for an oil change and complimentary tire rotation. Chase was, again, very professional and easy to work with. As I left the dealership I heard a pronounced clicking when I would turn or hit a bump. Turns out my sway bar bushings rotted off, a common occurrence with the Focus ST at my mileage. But I grew concerned. I thought it must be something minor, so I checked the tire pressure. It was 4lbs over the manufacturers specifications, and in each tire (according to both the door jam and the sidewall). So I decided to check the wheel lugs to see if they were loose or too tight, as that can often cause a clicking like I heard. Turns out, they were so tight THEY COULD NOT BE REMOVED BY HAND. I am a 240 pound fellow, and applying MY FULL WEIGHT WITH A BREAKER BAR, THEY COULD NOT BE REMOVED.I grew increasingly concerned. So I also checked my oil. It was black after 70 miles. THEY DIDNT EVEN PERFORM THE OIL CHANGE.Several lugs were stripped as well. I contacted Bob Allen Ford twice over the next 5 days, leaving messages for both Chase Meier and their service manager, with no reply, at which point I showed up to express my concern to them. I spoke with Curtis Sanders, who assured me that tires need to be over-inflated in the winter because air pressure, but lets ignore that it was 65 degrees at the time, and that my tires are nitrogen filled, and that I had given no personal information at this point. He dismissed my concerns without any knowledge of myself, my car, or the situation, and seemed confused when I told him Im just concerned because I had bad experiences at other dealerships. He asked me if I wanted to pay for a diagnosis after I told him my sway bar bushing had failed, after I showed him a photo (attached), and after we took a ride together. He also complimented my aftermarket exhaust by telling me how nice the stock exhaust is. Somehow, a Ford service consultant has never heard a Focus ST or RS- and 80 decibels stock is definitely distinguishable from 110 decibels aftermarket.Attached is a photo of my oil only a few days after the service was performed as well as the broken sway bar link. I have since disputed with my credit card company and received a refund. I will never patron this dealership again.I sold cars for two and a half years, and NEVER did I see such blatant disregard for the customers safety and concerns. Over-inflation of tires coupled with the RFT (you know what that means if youve taken even a high school auto shop class, which, amazingly, their ASE certified mechanics seem to have skipped) of the lugs could have resulted in disaster. I was so disappointed given how awesome my first interaction with this dealership was.

I had a recall done on my two back doors on my 2014 Ford Escape. Flash forward two years, the two doors are coming off my car. I drop my car off and explain “I really don’t want to pay for this. My doors are coming off and I think it might be because of the recall work done on the latches of the doors.” They never call me and explain what is happening. Instead I have to pay for one of the doors to be fixed and the other one is going to cost $300. They also accused me of lying about the recall. They said I made it seem like the “recall was just done.” Uhh no. When I first dropped off the car, I waited forever to try to talk to Josh to help me. They paged him 3 times, and he never came to the front. Perhaps the message got lost in translation, but I never ever said that the recall was just done. Why should two doors be falling off my car? My husband and I have been taking both of our Fords here to get serviced religiously for 6 years, and I’m upset. I understand cars wear and tear, but these doors fell off because of the recall. Interior doors shouldn’t just fall off of cars, and customers should be treated better. Josh also suggested that my indoor plastic doors came off because I have a child. My son never messed with the door and to imply that a 2-year-old could damage two interior doors is offensive to say the least. Not built Ford tough.

I am extremely impressed with the service department at Bob Allen! I brought my Explorer there for its 3 month service and was treated with extreme kindness and respect. Louis explained everything to me and even took me into the shop to show me what they were talking about. It was so refreshing to be treated so well! We will definitely continue coming back to Bob Allen for further service and will most likely purchase any vehicles from them in the future whenever necessary! 100% recommend!

This is the best ford I’ve ever been to, and the only place I will ever trust taking my car to again. They have treated me so great since I’ve started going and have made me feel like a valued customer. We had my partner’s fusion in for an airbag recall and Rick Flaherty took tremendous care of us. The job was finished in the quoted time and they ordered the part ahead of time. I got new tires here and they did fine with that but wanted suggested I get things checked out due to how the tires were worn. I made an apt for 7:30 am and when I called at 5pm they had not gotten to my car yet. When I came in, they said they were wrong, and it was looked at. I was quoted a repair that was $800+. When I took it to a different place, they said that a bolt had been loosened but nothing was wrong otherwise. I would like to think it was just a mistake but one of my friends had an unfortunate experience too.

The staff at Bob Allen Ford was very effective and efficient with their communications. My salesman was extremely familiar with the two versions of Explorers I was looking at and was able to provide pros and cons to both trims. Unfortunately, Bob Allen Ford did not have the color I wanted but was able to locate and perform a dealer trade in less than 24-hours within deciding which trim I wanted. Chris was able to get the requested modifications/additions to the vehicle so quickly. The entire staff at Bob Allen took no longer than 90 minutes to get us in our new vehicle....and we love it.

Called to get an oil change, they had several issues just getting my information. I asked for Valvoline oil. They didnt know if they could do that or the price. They would have to call another place and call me back. Rodney calls me back and explains the normal oil change is $50 but for them to use Valvoline it is $90 at least. I asked why $40 mark up. He has to order by quart and pay the mechanics. I tried to explain there should be no reason its $7 EXTRA PER QUART to pour another type of oil in the car. He would not let me talk, kept talking over me telling me he is running a business and a retail establishment. Every time i would talk he would talk over me saying maam you dont understand. I understand perfectly. You are NOT looking out for the customer and are very rude! Ripping people off! I finally hung up the phone because I couldnt get more than 2 words out.

Poor communication and service. Took my F350 in for several fixes. Was told several different stories waiting on this one part, later waiting on different part then when I picked up my truck they mixed used parts with new on what was supposed to be a brand new freshly painted mirror replacement and was told waiting on parts to repair the tailgate. Tailgate was partially fixed but left unfinished. Never received any follow up call even after contacting them multiple times.
