Good vibes. Lots of video games. I went there for Magic cards. Seemed like a cool place.

I’ve visited a few times ever since I’ve moved up to Oswego. I’ve always had a positive experience. The owner is super friendly and the prices are fair. I definitely recommend this store if you like games.

Amazing gaming place, it has everything you could need for games, DS, Gameboy, playstation, Wii, it has it all. It even has drinks! All in all, great place with tons of gaming stuff. It even runs leagues and campaigns for different games, pokemon, magic the gathering, dungeon and dragons, Yu-Gi-Oh. It has a ton of uses and is just an amazing place

They have a wide variety of games and consoles and their prices are very reasonable. The guy working there was super helpful. I love that they have a pool table too.

With infinite lifes gone and GameStop being over priced. Convergence should be your go to for everything video games. However it does end there. They also have a metric ton of boardgames and books and magic cards. Yes the store is not in the most convenient location but if you make your way over you will not be sorry.

Good place to get old games, magic cards and figures, along with dnd stuff!

Even though I dont go there much anymore, its nice to walk in every once and while and see the store growing as a business :)

Best place to sell used games/consoles/magic the gathering cards, ect... They pay up to 40% of the value of any given item, as opposed to the pawn shop, who gives up to 20% or Gamestop who only gives 10% of the original value. Whether you have an old, dusty N64 or a bunch of Magic Cards, rest assured KJ will give you a good deal.They also have the widest selection of cards for Magic the Gathering, Yu-gi-oh, and so on in town. They have a wide array of everything for your DnD needs. They recently got a bunch of new Warhammer stuff... They even have family friendly board games. I wish I could give this establishment more stars. Great place. 10/10 would reccomend.

Honestly, it upsets me to see the bad reviews. Every time I’ve been to this store, I’ve received exceptional service, and the atmosphere is very friendly. People are almost always willing to play Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh! and I find it very fun to meet new people and learn of new strategies. Overall, I have to say that as a place to play games and meet new people, this is one of the best.

Great prices and very knowledgeable staff.

I have been attending the shop since 7Aug18. Mostly playing Modern on Thursday nights. I’ve enjoyed my time here quite a lot. The owner is enthusiastic about all games, and helpful with questions. The crowd that plays are all great as well, haven’t run into any characters yet. Good local game store.

The overall feel is that of going over to hang out at your high school friends house to hang out in their parents garage/basement playing games and watching TV (like the good old days). Events usually offer free food and guests sometimes participate in bringing a dish to share. Each event that Ive attended has been thoroughyl enjoyable, the store offers a great range of collectible and gaming products, and the community of people are so great you almost forget that its a store and not the home of a close friend. Everyone that works here or plays here are incredibly welcoming. I enjoy playing, buying, hanging out here and so does my fiance.

Great place. Staff is super chill and the events are fun. They have some sick $15 boxes for people new to Magic.

This place is great. If you want to go to a place where you can hang out with people who have similar nerdy interests, like Magic: The Gathering, or Force Of Will, or Board Games, you will find them at Convergence. I go there myself for board games and Magic: The Gathering and have a great time.

An incredible place to come and hang out to play any variety of board games, video games, card games or collectibles. Each day has an event to play in and have a great experience. This store is honestly my favorite place in Oswego.

Friendly staff, cheap venue fee for the ultimate tourneys

Pre-ordered a Ultimate Masters box a month before release ($260 via eBay), Convergence canceled/refunded my order 2 days before release without reason and without contacting me. I messaged them through eBay asking what happened, they didn’t ever respond to my message. Soon after, I get a PayPal message saying my refund had been declined by Convergence’s bank.I’m pretty sure Convergence used eBay preorder money as capital to pay for Ultimate Masters boxes to sell in the store.Don’t shop or game at Convergence Gaming.

Best trading card shop with (at least MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh and Super Smash Bros) tournaments in Oswego County. Also since Infinite Lives closed in Oswego, theyve picked up the slack for doubling as a used video game shop and other related gaming items.
