Peter Glenn has a shocking amount of knowledgeable employees for a winter sports store located in Florida.

This is an awesome place to go to if youre looking for winter clothes because weve been looking for a place to buy some winter clothes for like 20 degrees and stuff like that and when we found this place the workers they were very nice and you gave us very nice advice for when we go to Colorado so recommend this place if you are going somewhere that is snowy and you need to buy winter clothes.

Went in to purchase a set of K2 rollerblades, they were out of stock due to the high demand, but the store associate was kind enough to help me check out other brands to get a size estimate for my wife, even though he knew we werent going to purchase that brand. Great customer service.

Ordered a ski helmet on 1/27 that said would arrive by 1/29. Still hadn’t received shipping notification late on 1/28 so I called. They assured me it would arrive on the 29th as it was coming from a store close by. Just Received a shipping text.. will arrive on 2/1. Very frustrating.Edit:Thank you for the email and excellent customer service. While I was not looking for any benefit and ultimately only wanted the package to arrive prior to the weekend I certainly do appreciate you reaching out to me and offering me the gift card. There is something to be said for that kind of response and I really do appreciate the time you took to remedy the situation quickly. I will definitely give PG another try in the future.

Amazing Staff, got a new client for sure

Being from Michigan where snow sports were always the priority, I moved to Florida 13 years ago and had to say “goodbye” to a good quality ski shop, along with the sport itself. I sold my gear and a decade later found myself taking annual trips out west to ski and renting gear was something I couldn’t tolerate anymore. This evening we went to Peter Glenn on I Drive and we were not disappointed. We felt like we were in Bill and Paul’s back home in West Michigan! I think his name was Steve (I’m terrible with names, but he had a name tag on - yes, I’m rolling my own eyes for not being completely positive on the name- and he was from Germany... I remember that part because I wanted to ask him about skiing in Germany, but I couldn’t find a proper segway because he was so attentive to our shopping experience). I’m going to call him “Steve” for the sake of this review. He was wonderful. He was quick to welcome us in, quick to ask what he could help us with, and he knew his products. If he was up selling, I couldn’t even tell because the conversations were natural and the knowledge was genuine. He worked at the Altamonte/Longwood location for many years and is now at the I Drive location after their merger. We went in tonight with the intention of getting myself sized and gaining knowledge to buy later, but walked out with such comfortable ski boots. I mean not as comfortable as the ones I tried on for fun that were triple the price, but the pair I went home with were impressive. Then 45 minutes later, I’m online ordering my skis based on the sizes and type Steve recommended for me (they didn’t have them in stock at the store). The knowledge and information he shared with us was genuine and helpful. Our buying experience was fun, especially when the jokes were made and I am so thrilled they are nearby... in Florida. I will tell everyone to go to Peter Glenn before any other store. Tonight’s experience has made a “lifer” out of us. If I could give 10 Stars, I would. My buying experience this evening has made me even more excited for our ski trip out west next month. Thank you “Steve” from Germany! I promise, I’ll confidently remember your name when I come in to get my bindings done.

The guys who run this store are so helpful and friendly! Theres absolutely no sales pressure. They are easy going and knowledgeable. A great selection of skis. I needed a big Box to ship my skis in. Not only did they go in the back and climb up on a ladder and give me a Box, they took the time to show me how to use rubber bands to secure the brakes and properly pack my skis. They have won my Business. Its rare to find retail service like this! 5 stars.

This store is awesome. Very clean and well-stocked. I’ll start by saying that I called ahead of time to check the stock of the item I was looking for and Gary took his time to not only look up the product, but then set it aside for me. I was there looking for Rollerblade’s Twister Edge X which they only had one pair of (and was set aside for me). By happenstance I met Gary in the store and he grabbed the skates for me and helped me to the back to try them on. He then took the time to heat up the boots (highly recommend especially with this pair) and waited for me to try them on to make sure they fit and that I was happy. I ended up purchasing these skates and after testing them out for 2 hours I couldn’t be more impressed. Very fair price at $279.00 +tax. and an extremely comfortable “urban” skate. Thank you Peter Glenn staff and a special thanks to you Gary! I will be a return customer.

Prices are ok, staff were pleasant. Its really all on the name... If you want Ski & Sports equipment at a reasonable price go here. You will find cheaper if you look though.

The guy in the ski area (I forgot his name!!) is from Colorado and knows everything there is to know about sizing and ski gear. He is so patient, friendly, experienced and generally amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone because of him.

Had an excellent experience with Peter Glenn and absolutely recommend it. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable and the manager Gary took great care of us. I am from the mountains, so it is so nice having somewhere in Florida I can confidently take my skis to to get serviced!

Something is so cool. I travel from Scotland to Florida to buy ski suits to wear when we go to Austria. Somewhere in a different galaxy that makes no sense but here on earth thats what we do.

Come here for all your cold weather needs. They have it all. Saying that it is very expensive, and you could find better deals shopping around. But if youd like good quality equipment in one stop shop with knowledgeable staff this is the place. They will upsell you at times and found that after my trip I didnt need everything they recommended. But they do play great music in the store.

Kortne was absolutely fantastic with explaining everything about each product I was looking at, making recommendations for me based on what I needed while also being relatively price conscious (per my request) as I was buying a snowboard, boots, and everything needed plus other items too. I was very pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend everyone to come here for winter gear and sporting equipment!!

More options are needed for roller skating; but overall excellent

A good shop but I was really disappointed at the lack of attentiveness by their cashier. She left the security tag on a fleece jacket - had to drive while way back with the slip to have it removed.Arrived in Park City only to discover she did exactly the same with the Bogner pants I bought. So they too will have to be returned and of course I dont want to walk around with pants that have a security tag on them making me look like a criminal simply because she didnt do a good enough job.
