Ima try to make this short and sweet I went to these folks to get my catholic converter done. On sept 9 I was charged $653 for it to be fix by the way. Went bk twice to get these redone so after the 3rd time I just too my suv to my mechanic. He told me they didn’t put it on properly and he sent me photos. These folks told me to junk my car soon because of xyz smh my engine light was on because they couldn’t properly fix my car. 🙄🙄🙄 Ull be wasting ur money

Stay away from these crooks! They replaced my catalytic converter with a used one that was completely hollow. Paid $467 for nothing. Dont go here whatever you do.

I purchased an exhaust cut-out valve (bypassing the muffler) and needed it welded into place. I got there early, got taken care of quickly, very happy with the quality of the weld and they have fair prices. My only problem, if you can call it a problem, the parking area is tiny but it wont keep me from going there again.

The staff there is awesome.. they will show you and also recommend parts that needs done.. they make sure you leave their shop with 110 percent customer satisfaction.. bascily they wont let you leave unless your safe.. best place to get your car serviced from a simple flat tire to a basic oil change.. The service was horrible they didn’t know what was wrong with the car charged 300.00 car still does not run and had no answers as to why? Or what was wrong with car! Total disaster !! Thieves!! If you don’t know what is wrong why charge anything give the car back! Do not go here they are the worst !!

I took it to them to replace the clutch. They tried to over charge for aftermarket oem part. That was 200 more then the dealer oem part. I then bought it my self they replaced it. They called and convinced me my transmission mount needed to be replaced. Makes sense they couldn’t see it before I guess. They replace it for $100. Weird cause the parts is $250+. Drive the car and I hear this weird noise. Tell the owner and he drives it and just complements my car and says he “can’t hear it”. Says it’s my ac or gears grinding. Weird cause it happens at idle. I drive the car for less then a weak and something shifts and starts banging in the engine bay. Long story short the transmission mount they installed or didn’t. Broke and broke my transmission housing for the bolt. I get it towed. They fix what was broken. I go to examine and vs replace the transmission part that holds the bolt that cracked they just weld over it. After I confront them they tell me it’s fixed. And that’s as good as it was when it first came in. Refusing to do anything else.

They did pretty good on my new exhaust install. Later, I brought my car in for service due to squeaking brakes. They turned the rotors but the noise is still there. Now I have a problem with the calipers making a snapping noise when I stop. The rotors really dont feel like they were turned which may be why they still make the same noise. Paid lots of money, didnt seem worth it.

They were very profesional!!

I called and got a price to have a Flowmaster muffler installed with a tip. It was initially $250. I was told if it had a resonator they would just simply remove it. Nothing was mentioned about an extra charge to that. I was called 1/2 way into the project and was told that it was now going to be $355 total to remove the resonator. This to me as a business man myself was akin to a bait and switch. You can’t give one price then bilk the customer for more later after you tear it down. When I didnt budget for that exact price for a simple muffler job. i was told I shouldn’t have bought a muffler then. I went ahead and allowed the repair. I as a first time customer and had many things lined up for future work in this shop, with cash flow coming into their doors, all of that flew out the window with today’s experience. I know for a fact I paid $190 more for something a competitor in Hunters Creek said they would have done fully for $165. We live and learn. You can either provide a pleasant experience for the first time customer to win them over for life, or you can take advantage of them. I was taken advantage of, Plain and simple! I don’t recommend this shop to. Anyone, they are many more reasonable options believe me!!!

Muffler Man is the best mechanic I have been to. Great prices, and they stand by their work. I have never had to leave my car there over night. They are quick and do the job right the first time. Ill start with Im a young women, but I went in to get an estimate on brakes and rotors and was quoted by Jefferson 350$ for JUST LABOR. If you know anything, brakes should only take a hour not 3 and the crazy up charge made me sick. Will not go here ever, please do your homework they really thought they could pull a fast one on me. Everything about my Service at Muffler man was great. Walked in not really knowing what I wanted to get done, I just knew I wanted dual exhaust, and wanted a sound. JT got my 03 Explorer in the air within minutes of being there and we walked under and came up with a few ideas which all were great, picked one and it was done in a few hours. My SUV is sounding mean!!! Definitely exceeded my expectations. They definitely have a repeat customer in me. I will be bring some other vehicles as well. Tell JT I need that video!! I always have a positive experience when having my car serviced at the Muffler Man. I feel the technicians know my car better than I do and treat my car as they would treat their own. The service is always fast (depending on how slammed they are) which is a good sign they have a large repeat customer base. They never try to sell me repairs I dont need and at times go above and beyond with a free tire rotation and complete car check up. I hope this business stays around for a long time because I may never find a reputable mechanic to trust with my car.

I publicly want to thank Darrell and the staff of the Muffler Man for their professionalism in handling my situation. I was in Orlando for a convention. While driving down, I heard a horrible noise and the exhaust was loud and the smell entered the cabin. As a tourist quite frankly I was expecting to sign the deed to my house over but this was not the case! All it was was a small flange, 1/2 hour work, and $70 out the door!To say this is an honest shop is a total understatement! I HIGHLY recommend this shop for your muffler repair. In closing... Above and beyond and more with customer service knowledge and work ethic I took my car there to fix a lot of mistakes that were done to the piping by previous owners and I got to say it was well worth every penny. If I could compare the welds on the piping Id say it was looking like something out of a NASA spaceship well-executed to the point where I cannot see a single flaw these people know what they are doing not to mention their Management who was well-spoken with me and gave me the most best price I probably would ever see

Very impressed. I called on Wednesday after they closed and someone answered the phone and instead of telling me they are closed, he answered my questions. I showed up the next day at 2pm to have the mufflers taken off my Charger and get the exhaust hangers mounted. Very friendly welcome and asked to speak with the same guy, he came out and told me that they can get the work done before they close at 5pm (they were busy!) Not only did they get the work done, they gone it done way faster than they said. Great prices, great service, great environment!

First time to Muffler Man. Got there place was packed. They parked the car for me. My A/C stopped working. Gentleman said it be .30 minutes before they could look at it. 30 minutes later the same man said we are swamped. You can wait or bring the car back and drop it off. Chose to bring the car back. But at least he was honest. Judging by the number of cars they had there they must be doing something right.

I had purchased some used tires and wheels off Craigs list because I wanted to go back to the stock wheels for my Chevy Tahoe. I didnt know about Muffler Man at that time, and the auto shop putting them on said that I didnt need to balance them. He had the front of my truck jacked up and pulled my wheel left then right to show me that there was about 4 inches of play, and told me that I needed some extensive front end work done.I looked on line and saw that Muffler Man had great reviews and decided to give them a try. I called and spoke with Daryl, and explained what the other shop had told me, and he told me to bring it on in bright and early in the morning.When I arrived he gave me a warm welcome, offered me coffee and put the truck up on the lift. He informed me that my front end was tight, and there were no problems. And when you pull one wheel side to side, the other will move as well. I already knew that so I guess the other guy was trying to play me.I thanked him and told him that I could now afford new tires. Daryl helped me with installing 4 new tires, he also fixed my AC which hasnt worked in over a year. he looked the whole truck over and saw a piece of plastic trim that had come loose from my left bumper and fixed that.I had a great experience. So much better than a dealership. I could tell that Daryl and his team cared about customer service and had passion for their job. I have not seen that at dealerships that I have been to, and I truly believe I would have paid almost twice as much at a dealership. Somebody has to pay for all that glimmer.I couldnt believe what Muffler Man can do.....Oil changes, AC, Tires, transmission and cooling system service etc. Not like a regular muffler shop.Thanks for all the help guys...and I told Mama about this minutes after I arrived home, and she wants Daryl to put new tires on her car next month but he doesnt know it yet.
