Came here after dinner nearby with Genesis and Gabby and love it! Tasted many flavors and landed on Hazelnut! Come here often and always enjoy eating here! Very friendly family and enjoyable for all!

This place was amazing! I had the best hazelnut gelato I’ve ever had. Gabby was the best and she definitely gave the best recommendations.

I came here with my family after dinner for the first time, and were helped by Genesis and Jasmine! They were super busy, hardworking and gave us great recommendations. There were a large variety of flavors to choose from, as well as multiple drink options! I ended up getting the pistachio and the last of the hazelnut chocolate. I will definitely be coming back here with my family soon!

Not a huge selection. I had 4 samples and none tasted like they were supposed to taste. The flavor I wanted was out. They had other flavors in the back that wasn’t offered to me. The crepes tasted fine but was undercooked and missing the powdered sugar. One worker was friendly and the other was NOT. Prices are too high. Not worth it. I don’t recommend.

Good gelato, very creamy. I like the atmosphere and that it sells some typical Italian beverages that I grew up with back home. I got Rum&Raising and Pistacchio and my daughter Mango and Blueberry. The limoncello flavor is phenomenal, very rich.

For those who really know and appreciate a gelato, this place lacks a lot.We left the Mall at Millenia very excited to find a gelato in the Dr Phillips area. Arrived there and there are only 2 freezers with gelato: one based on fruit and the other on creamy flavors. Fruit one was all empty - it was 7:00pm on a Friday.The creamy one did not have one single flavor of chocolate.If you like ice cream, you can go to Publix and buy a Hagen Daas or even a gelato pot.If you are really into an Italian gelato, don’t waste your time and money.

There were two ladies at the counter when I visited (08.17.2021 between 1930~20:00). It was my first time visiting so I asked for recommendation to the asian lady. She sighed, rolled her eyes, and said “depends on what you are looking for”. I am good with that answer since it can be difficult to give recommendations to the random person. However, she could have delivered that with different attitude and tone.I picked the flavor and she left the ice cream cup on top of the counter and just left to the back room. There was zero effort given to customer service or what so ever.My husband got his gelato from the other lady and she was good.

Me and my boyfriend went here after dinner for a sweet treat but received nothing but bitter rude service by two young ladys. I ordered an açaí bowl and boyfriend had Italian ice, after putting in my order the one girl rolled her eyes and didn’t say anything afterwards and left my order on the table to serve others with out telling me my food was ready and as the other lady was serving they completely ignored us or cared to help my boyfriend place his order as they are in the back . Top of 6 people in the shop total . Never cared to write a review but this left me for no words

I have to eat dairy free and I have never been to an ice cream place with more than one dairy free option. I was very satisfied with what I got which was the black cherry amerena.

This place was great before the pandemic. We just visited and none of the gelatos taste good tables were dirty bathrooms a mess, such a disappointment since my kids loved this place. Not sure what happened but is sad. No good gelato places left in the area.

My roommate and I were out exploring and he wanted to stop for Gelato. This place was nearby and I’m happy we went! I got two flavors in the small cup, which is actually quite a bit of ice cream. I got Banana Banana Chocolate and I think the second flavor was Vanilla Raspberry (can’t remember exactly). Both flavors were great, but the Banana Chocolate was incredible. The shop is small inside, but its decorated very nicely and has a couple of tables to sit down at. There are also tables outside which are covered from the sun, so even on a hot day, its still a great place to cool off and enjoy your treat. Awesome staff too!

Few ice creams, staff with little desire to work

Nice selection of sorbet and gelatos. It is a tad sweeter than I would like, but delicious nonetheless.I recommend the gelato over the sorbet if there is a choice like the cherry flavors.

It’s in a quiet place and not too crowded, we liked it, there is lots of choices, just maybe little bit expensive!

Very generous portions, interesting flavors, nice staff, great location, with plenty of outdoor seating. Recommend to try the espresso with a scoop of ice cream or the Hazelnut(Rocher) flavor.

Its some of the best Gelato we have ever had! We have it at least once a week if not more. Always tasty, fresh and very authentic along with friendly service... Definitely a must try!

Drove all the way up from Walt Disney World to get some Gelato. Man is it good. Nice place on the corner of what looks like an outdoor mall. I’d for sure come again.

What to say about Gelato La Carraia?What a nice surprise to see that they opened a US store right by where I live! It was like a deja vu of when I lived in Florence.The true gelato experience is here.They also have adapted to the current US market and food tendencies by having around 6 or 8 vegan options and even açaí bowls.They change some flavors from time to time to keep things interesting and the staff is always nice and attentive.Oh, they have crepes too!!!Amazing and delicious!

Flavors we tried were excellent (tiramisu, pistachio, strawberry). So smooth. Served correctly. Delicious. Equivalent to the gelato we had in Rome. I noticed some boxes had shipping labels...they import the ingredients too! Authentic as it gets.

Never had gelato prior to today. The service was great, the worker was helpful in explaining the product and allowing me to try what I wanted before purchasing.

A happy little gelateria tucked away in a quiet corner of the shopping center, youre not likely to stumble upon them by chance. But it is well worth the stop! Their creamy and smooth gelato is available in a delicious variety of flavors - enough to give you great, authentic options, but not so many to overwhelm. We were served efficiently by the friendly staff, and the only problem was that our gelato melted too quickly to truly savor every bite! Still, a perfectly indulgent cool treat on a hot Florida day.

The gelato was pretty tasty, tried three flavors plus a waffle cone. All were good, but none were exceptional. I just didnt think it was 4.8 star gelato, per all the reviews on here.

Its a good place, with good flavors and a nice localization. The costumer service is good and the price is middle, not expensive.Have a few chairs to sit because the place is small, but is a good option to go single or with friends or family.

Great gelato at this place. At some places the gelato is gritty especially for fruit flavors. But here everything is perfectly creamy and smooth. I had the mango and passion fruit ones and it was a good combination to get. Also a good place to stop in for desert after eating at one of the other restaurants nearby.

This place us great. They have a lot of delicious flavors, ( mine us peach/ mango) like wild berries, chocolate/ peanutbutter, orange chocolate, tiramisu, coconut, and more. The owner is super nice. He will let you try several flavors. The scoops are large. I will definitely be back.

Me and my wife had an excellent time here after having sushi down the street, this was a second visit for us after not being here for 2 months and this time was even better than the first! Maria was very sweet and helpful since we did not know what flavors we would like, and she let us try several flavors, and she was just overall great to us! The quality was only good, but price was very high.

Big flavors (that was great!), but also big crystals (that was not!).It qualified as very good ice cream, but very poor gelato. Gelato has a very distinctive CREAMINESS, from VERY tiny ice crystals formed by a very rapid chilling & freezing of the base, and slower churning, which results in less air being incorporated. That means that it should be much denser than ice cream, yet creamier, which is what justifies the higher cost.This was a very flavorful ice cream... but not gelato.Also, please reach your employees NOT to touch the credit card terminal after my card has been inserted. That is the equivalent of putting your hand in my wallet. Im sorry if I dont move fast enough for you, but as there was nobody in line behind me, you can bloody well wait until I push the buttons myself.

I enjoyed my visit here. The gelato was delicious. Very smooth. The lady who was working this evening did a great job. This place was jammed packed and she seemed to be working alone, and this was her first Saturday.

SO DELICIOUS! Every flavor Ive tried has been fantastic! The strawberry cheesecake is my favorite followed closely by the milk chocolate. The texture is PERFECT. It is dangerous that this is on my way home from work, because I now want to stop every day!

All you can eat with the flavors of grandmas home cooking. Worth the price and service. Went there twice in the 2 weeks in Florida. Another local hangout.

Went here after finding this place on google. Thats the first real gelato I ever had in Orlando. The staff was very nice. The flavor I wanted was not available so they made it especially for me. Ill definitely come back!

The gelato was probably 4/5 stars. It was good, but really not as good as Italy. The hazelnut in particular tasted like it was made of nuts that had gone off, but there others werent exactly sublime.Im also deducting a star for really poor service. Very sullen teenager quality of attitude and serving up the gelato.

We went in tonight after dinner for my daughters birthday. the 4 of us walked in and were not greeted by the 3 teenagers sitting behind the counter. We asked what was in the case by the door and no one responded. I asked again and the 3 of them just looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders. It was laughable. We stepped up to the counter and they stood up, but none of the could manage to utter a word. Not even hello. We are Italian so we picked our flavors in their silence. It was really a put off. Most of the flavors looked old and several of the the containers were empty. Not appealing at all. So my husband ordered and again they all stood there and looked at each other. The older girl moved and asked him again what he wanted....yes words!! She slapped the gelato in the cup with chunks dropping off mixing in the other flavors, on his hand and the floor. There were no napkins in the dispensers. The other 2 still just standing and staring at us didnt speak or move. The young blonde just stood at the register staring at us like a zombie. My son addressed the male teen working and gave his order and he just stood there and pointed to the girl that just did my husbands order, my son asked him if he should ask her and the teen just shrugged. Forever and a day later this one girl scooped 2 orders and the guy did 1. Still no words. My son asked if I ordered, since my husband was now done eating his, and the girl with long blonde hair still stood at the register staring at us. None of the asked if there was anything else. I asked if I could order and again, they just stood there staring. The same girl said sure. I gave her my order, she scooped it handed it to me and all 3 simultaneously sat down. I asked if we could pay and again they all looked at each other to see who would move. It was literally the worst customer service ever. Terrible management!The gelato was MEH. One was tased freezer burned, one had sandy ice crystals in it, another was slimy with a gummy coating on top. The other cup had a variety of different gelati that slopped out of all the other orders previously that you could tell what flavor it really was. It was not good gelato or a good experience. Bar Taco has better gelato! We wont be back. My teenage kids said it was like meeting our clone is the movie US. They just stood there and couldnt speak! lol Just awful.
