I was a little nervous about ordering a cake from this place because the cupcakes were not as good as I expected them to be. They were cold and slightly stale but still I took a chance and ordered the cake. The cake was freaking phenomenal! I wasn’t sure what exactly I expected but it really blew me away, and more importantly, my mom was very, very, happy (it was a surprise birthday cake for her). I ordered a fairly basic decoration, all buttercream and it was absolutely stunning. The color was gorgeous, the cake was light and the crumb was perfect, not at all dense or heavy and the filing was perfect. 5 stars even with the subpar cupcake, because the cake was THAT GOOD

Hands down the best service I’ve received for a cake to this date. From the very first phone call to receiving the cake. Quality service at its finest the cake was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. I had an idea of what I wanted based on three different cake designs. The fact that they were able to take elements that I wanted from each picture and incorporate them into their own way is simply astonishing. This cake is exactly what I was envisioning for my daughter. It was so beautiful and delicious! My daughter was extremely happy and so was I. They were such a pleasure to work with. I mean, where do I begin?! This cake is literally the most beautiful cake Ive ever seen. And it tasted as good as it looked. I found the picture online and requested it to be duplicated. I was so impressed with Sugar Divas Cakery! I decided to order a cake for my godsons first birthday party and a smash cake to go along with the birthday cake. The team at Sugar Divas helped design a custom monkey themed cake and even match the theming to the smash cake. From the ordering process, to the cake tasting, to the pick-up and follow up, I could not have asked for more. The cake was amazing. Very delicious very moist. But..I had made an appointment for a “to go” taste test for my wedding cake. Was called the morning of to confirm my 11:00 pickup. Ended up waiting til like 12 til my cakes were done. Was told that on their schedule they had put me down for 12. What really confused me was someone called to confirm I was gonna be there @11 but I still ended up waiting another hour. I understand things happen, but I’m just kind of like…are you gonna be late to my wedding if I do have my cake made here?? Just a bad first impression.

I absolutely loved working with Sydney and Sugar Divas to come up with a cake and cupcakes for a themed bridal shower. Sydney had great ideas, the cake/cupcakes turned out amazing, and all the guests loved the variety of flavors! This was a surprise for our bride and she loved every single detail! Highly recommend!

Walked by and decided to stop in. We got one chocoholic cupcake to go, the cupcake was packed in a cute and efficient box. The cupcake was a little cold but delicious. The cake was moist and soft, the frosting was rich but not overwhelming sweet. It was honestly one of the better cupcakes Ive tasted.

The Divas were very hands on. Even though I was in a different state ordering the cake, they made the planning and designing of the cake easy. They matched the picture I sent them Perfectly. The cake not only looked amazing but also taste amazing. My niece celebrated her 35th birthday and she was overly thrilled. I will see you next year in July I plan to celebrate my 60th birthday in Florida and I would need another delicious cake. Thanks I really appreciates the Divas.

They executed my vision for my animal themed cakes and cookies for my baby shower to perfection. Not only did they do an amazing job with every detail but the cake and cookies were absolutely DELICIOUS that it was all gone that day. My guests and family could not stop asking where I ordered my cake from. Definitely made our day extra special! If I could give Sugar Divas Cakery 10 stars I would. Not only did they respond within 24 hours to my very lengthy email, but the lady I ordered the cake from was so nice, accommodating to all my requests, and helpful in making decisions. They delivered the cake in a timely manner. I was also told the cake tasted delicious! My friends and I were so pleased with the design and how it all turned out. Next time I visit Orlando, Sugar Divas Cakery is at the top of my list for places to visit.

My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our baby shower cake. It tasted great and everyone was impressed with the work on the cake. We had vanilla for the bottom tier and the berry flavor for the top tier. Hannah did an excellent job!

I felt very rushed on the phone with Hannah, as she was talking right over me at times - getting the next box checked, phone number, name, payment, etc. It didn’t really feel like I was talking with a cake consultant, more like a drill sergeant! I know they are busy and onto to the next customer order, but to me this is my son’s birthday cake and I want it to be perfect and at least want it to feel like they care just as much.I did not end up placing the order, so I can’t comment on the quality of their cakes, but I found it hard to spend $200 with zero customer service- that comes first for me!I’ve ordered custom cakes for my kids birthdays for several years from a place in Winter Park who since moved their location too far, so was hoping to find that same 100% customer service here, but not the case!

I was in a difficult situation for my Daughters 17th Nike theme Birthday Party. Their assistance even down to me running late to pick up the cake/cupcake was top notch and really CUSTOMER SERVICE :) They assisted me with the edible paper toppings for the cupcakes. Not to mention the cupcakes and personal size cake for my daughter was very moist and delicious. OMG! First of all as soon as you walk in get ready for the amazing smell of cake, vanilla, almond and sugar. Sugar Divas Bakery is conveniently located in the SODO DISTRICT of Downtown Orlando next to the Super Target. They make cakes of all kinds for all occasions. What I was most impressed with was the amount of layers you are able to choose, their airbrush skills and how custom you can be with your order. We had somewhere to be and then lied and said that i was yelling at her employee. Whoever i spoke to said she was the manager and i just simply told her that this is unacceptable. They need to take accountability for their mistake. Will never go to this place 👎

Not only was their staff helpful and knowledgeable but, they were so incredibly patient with my indecisiveness. The entire process was seamless and stress-free. I couldn’t not be any happier with the service and expertise provide.

Asked for a specific graduation cake in a short amount of time and they did exactly what I wanted. It was an interesting adventure to find the shop but the cake was top notch.

Ordered a cake for my wedding last year. It was supposed to be 3 different flavors but I only got 2. Raspberry amaretto, red velvet with cream cheese filling, and champagne flavor with strawberry filling. Never got the champagne flavor cake and the topper was supposed to include all the flavors. Then we didnt get the second topper to store so we used the one from the wedding. Come to find out, after a year of waiting, the topper was only red velvet cake! I thought this place was gonna be worth it. Completely ruined my wifes wedding cake moment.Edit: I like the response I was given. There may have been some confusion with my order but Im willing to forgive and will give a higher rating for customer service.

My daughter ordered a cake 3 weeks before the day it was needed for. Everything was set and done and we also called a week after placing the order to confirm the details once more and everything was correct. Come day of pickup we call around 1 pm to confirm we have pick up still at 3 pm as discussed. The person we spoke with said yes and confirmed the cake was done and that we can actually come now or before they close for the day. We arrived a little after 3 because of errands and as discussed we can come anytime before they close to pick up the order since it was already done before 3 pm. We arrived and the cake was not at all done how we ordered it. We ordered a cake in fondant and received a cake in buttercream, (also like to mention the cake was bland in design, none of the photo references were met) when asked we were told by two different employees the front desk person and apparently the baker it was made in buttercream because that felt better. Our paper work said to be made in fondant! Don’t know how this was a mistake when it was on the paper work and fondant and buttercream are completely different. Even tried to sell us on the buttercream saying it tastes way better and no one orders fondant. Like their whole Instagram isn’t filled with cakes made in fondant of some sort every other post. Spoke to the owner who is unprofessional and frankly likes to blame customers for their issues. Stating we were late to pick up the order. Not sure how being late to pick up has to do with the cake being wrong from the beginning. The cake was done by 1 pm the day of and we were told we can come anytime before close from there. They fixed the cake within 15 minutes but the point of the fact is the cake is not cheap and we had plans and places to be at a certain time. Also selling us on the buttercream first before offering to fix is crazy, it was supposed to ready as ordered. I get people make mistakes but it’s not a mistake when it was blatantly ignored that the cake needed to be made in fondant as they confirmed the day of pick up but the owner of course doesnt want to admit that.To the reply from the owner or whoever, by the photos sent in as reference they were nothing but simple and its nice that this shop likes to lie on what happened to make them look better. No one yelled at your employees when we spoke to them. We simple expressed that it was wrong we had to wait for a cake that should have been done correctly and the employees were wrong for not following what was written ON PAPER! Yes we wanted compensation and your place deserves the bad review for the lying and the smart remarks to our complaints. The owner wasnt even there the day of so the employees like to lie clearly on paying customers when then mess up to cover their behinds and lastly my daughter said the cake was okay. Not fine also.I highly recommend not doing business with this place cause clearly their staff cant read or follow directions. Imagine If this was a wedding cake.

I really loved the baby yoda cake they did for my boyfriend’s birthday. They did a phenomenal job and had great customer service throughout the ordering and pickup process.

We use Sugar Divas for every single birthday and special occasion. They really did the best on my daughters 10th birthday cake A very special Lilo and Stitch edition which was so yummy. We had the chocolate with chocolate icing and it was perfection!

We ordered a gender reveal cake. It was pretty last minute and they were able to fit us in which was nice. I thought it was pretty pricey considering it was just a simple, very small cake with colored icing and words written on top. We didn’t get anything crazy with like shapes or design. I wanted colored candies on the inside for the gender reveal which I was told I had to provide. Overall the cake looked good and was what I had wanted for the most part, but it didn’t taste good. No one liked it, taste wise. So that was disappointing. Spend over $100 on a teeny tiny cake you expect it to at least taste good. But it serves its purpose for the gender reveal. But I probably won’t be ordering any more special occasion cakes here. EDIT: In response to the below owner’s response. I’m not sure who they’ve been calling, but it’s definitely not me, or my husband.

I ordered a Mickey Mouse Cake for my Godson’s 2nd birthday, and it was perfect. From ordering to cake pick-up, the process was easy, the associates were responsive and patient, and the cake was delicious! The only mini concern I had was the fact you must pay in full at least 2 weeks before the date in which you need the cake, which was fine. However, I gave them my credit card information upon ordering (which was about 4 weeks before) and after noticing that my card hadn’t been run (approximately 2 weeks after the card information was given) I called, and although the woman I spoke to was extremely nice and they ran my card that day, it did have me a little concerned about where my card information had been for the previous few weeks and where my card info would go after. Overall, great experience!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I called ahead of time to ask about their pumpkin cupcake and asked if it had cream cheese icing and the lady said yes. When I got there I had to stand outside because of COVID precautions, which was fine. But when I opened the door the two lady’s looked at me and didn’t say a word. I literally stood there for about 5 min before anyone said anything to me. Not even a “I’ll be right with you.” Finally I got a condescending “can I help you?” I said yes I’d like to buy cupcakes? So she took my order and came back with the pumpkin cupcake I asked about over the phone. When I got in my car to eat the cupcakes, they were DRY and did not have the cream cheese icing I was told about. Nasty, dry, flavorless cupcakes combined with bad customer service don’t mix. Ew. Never again.

The cake here is DELICIOUS! We went for a cake tasting for our wedding and it was so hard to pick flavors because everything was so yummy! Whenever we are in florida we will definitely be stopping in for a cupcake!

My dad (the birthday boy) was speechless when we presented the cake to him! My dad has created this little character for his grandkids - “Randy the Rutabaga”. Randy tells stories, gets Into mischief and the girls think he is funny! Sugar Divas brought Randy to life in cake form (with an appropriate Covid-mask) and was truly the best gift ever!! Sugar Divas made the perfect wedding cake for us! The photo we shared was a detailed design that had to be hand painted. I admit, I had my concerns because it looked like such a difficult design to copy but they totally nailed it!!! It was absolutely beautiful, better than I could have imagined. It was also DELICIOUS. From the moment we first walked into the shop and smelled the delicious aromas, I had a feeling we would like this place. My daughter had found this place because of its excellent reviews and its assortment of vegan options. We ordered cupcakes and cookies for a bridal shower, and they were all absolutely delicious and beautiful. We gave them pictures of what we wanted and were trying to match, and everything turned out perfectly. I would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone and everyone.

Ordered a full sheet with Bavarian filling for $270. It did not have much filling, but it was a flavorful cake with tasty icing. Probably too expensive. I think this place is better for fun frosting/icing decorations on round stackable cakes.

I cant speak highly enough of this bakery. I ordered a cake for my nieces baby shower. It turned out better than I had hoped for. And, it was delicious - their fondant is actually pleasantly edible!

I got a 7 cake for $170 for my daughters birthday. I asked for a cheesecake, but it was just a normal cake when I got it. I called and asked them. She said they were not a bakery place. They should have told me earlier before I placed the order, not after I paid and had the birthday party. Nobody at my party likes the cake at all. I will never be back.

Sugar Divas made a birthday cake for my boss of our company logo and added a personal touch by making the symbol of his favorite team on a basketball. Not only did the cakes look fantastic, they tasted delicious as well! Sugar Divas was also accommodating by delivering the cake to our business dinner location one hour early. The CEO of our company joined us for dinner and was amazed with the cakes. My boss was pleasantly surprised as well. Thanks to Sugar Divas for helping make our business dinner a special one!

I have used them for both my oldest daughters 3rd birthday and my youngest daughters 1st birthday. They do phenomenal work and really capture what their customers want. The work they do is truly one of a kind pieces of art and all of their creations are mouth-watering. I look forward to using for future occasions and I recommend them to anyone looking for a cake or cupcakes for a special occasion.

I am totally blown away with the cake I ordered for my daughters birthday! It was better then the picture I ask to be duplicated. It definitely was not a cheapest bakery to go with but I’m convinced they are the BEST!!

Absolutely hands down the best cake EVER! My love affair with Sugar Divas started last September when my handsome husband and I walked by and he asked for his birthday cake to come from there... Three custom cakes, four cake decorating classes and innumerable cupcakes later - I can say that we all are officially addicted. The cake is delicious, it is pure magic what they can create with frosting and fondant and the decorating classes are great fun plus they send you home with cake!

I got the Reese’s explosion cupcake and it’s más an explosion in my mouth Lol!!! It was really good. Definitely recommend this place. I also got other flavors but this was my favorite so far 😊

Came here twice, during their supposed Open Hours. First time, the place was absolutely dark. The second time, all lights were on, the Open sign was flipped to the public and I saw a worker inside. However, the door was locked so I waited 10 minutes thinking maybe they had just come back from lunch and were opening back up. 10 minutes pass and I knock on the door to get their attention. The employee looks up at me shakes her head No and turns away. So I try to gesture at the Open sign to let them know to flip it Closed so other people wont make the same mistake. Again, the employee just shakes her head from afar and looks away. Nope, never trying here again.

We chose Sugar Divas for our 6-inch wedding cake and 10 dozen cupcakes. After a terrible experience with B Cupcakes, Sugar Divas professionalism, great customer service, and flexibility was a breath of fresh air! We especially loved having the ability to combine multiple flavors to create a customized cupcake selection for our wedding guests. The cupcakes were a hit, and while some of the flavors didnt translate so well into the final product (our chocolate-bourbon-pecan cupcakes tasted like regular chocolate, nothing else); everything was still moist and delicious! I personally loved the lemon cheesecake and honey lavender flavors the best! Chocolate cherry was also a big hit with the crowd. Our sweetheart cake was also delicious - we chose a chocolate-orange cake, and were able to bring in our own little bottle of Grand Marnier for them to soak the cake in (to make it extra moist and delicious!) They did a great job, and the simple cake design we chose to do with the fondant looked very elegant, and as a bonus - we werent charged extra for it! Bottom line: Sugar Divas is a great choice for any of your event sweet-tooth needs! They are very willing to work with you to customize your order, and will keep everything a stress-free experience.

Sugar Divas Cakery baked us an AWESOME 2 tier birthday cake on short notice. It was beautifully detailed and delicious. If you are looking to surprise someone with a great cake, this is the bakery! They delivered a dozen delicious cupcakes in downtown orlando with no trouble finding our building or getting up to our suite. Both deliveries came right on time. Thank you so much! Sugar Divas is absolutely amazing! The cake and mini cupcakes theycreated and delivered for our 25th Anniversary April 18, 2019 were the best we have ever tasted! Ive walked by several times and never tried, however the place is always empty so I should have known better. I bought a couple of cupcakes. The tops were dry and tasted like box cake mix. Im almost certain the icing was Pillsbury and bought from Target next door, which I think is completely gross. Ive never been disappointed from a boutique cupcake shop and always end up thinking they are each better than the last; this is the exception. It was not good. The staff was friendly, however. Definitely not worth the price!

Lydia is awesome! Sugar Divas exceeded my expectations during our tasting and really engaged in good creative work for my 30th birthday cake. The artistry on display in their shop is astonishing.
