I couldnt imagine the experience Id have here until I arrived, the most beautiful place and amazing people, every cabin was unique and charming and we had meals prepared every night and it was the freshest and most incredible food.Great amount of interaction offered and brilliant range of activities.For anyone looking to try something different explore or see the northern lights this is the place to go

Absolute gem! Perfect combination of outdoorsy experience combined with modern luxury. Perfect place for a couples or family getaway. Loved the dogs, the cabins, and the food. Unique unforgettable experience that we will never forget!

A paradise for anyone that enjoys coming close to nature with that little extra. Everything from the cottages to the adventures that the wonderfull hosts can provide. This is a place I will come back to one day.

If you are into nature and huskies you have to visit that place. The employees are really nice and friendly. The huskies can be huged and cuddled. Worth every penny 🥰

One of the best places I had ever been!Its a wonderful place a side of a big cities. Perfectly combined hand made cabins with taste of modern stile and technologies. here you have everything you need for a few days staying.The view from the cabin, and around will stay in my mind for the rest of my live!

Absolutely awesome place. Staff are fantastic and cant do enough for you. We went on the 5 day sled tour but unfortunately I had an accident were I came off and hurt my face on a tree totally my own fault thought I could do it but it is hard work holding on the beautiful dogs just want to run. The staff couldnt do enough for me trying to encourage me to push myself but I had lost confidence and transport was arranged to bring us back to the lodge. My husband loved it and will definitely be coming back. Its like living in a dream xxx

A very pleasant surprise if you like the feeling of living out doors in a log cabin.

Wow. What a place. So nicely decorated. This is a must see place to visit. Totaly relaxed area, and every detail is thought through. Everything Is made of natural materials, and it is like comming to a small hobbit village where everyrhing is hand made. I really have to came back and sleep over and pet the huskies. Think this is the perfect place to have an arrangement or meeting.

This is the most amazing place we have ever stayed at! We enjoyed the hospitality of Sven and Thomas in summer 2012, were really amazed with the husky farm, impressed with the dogs - they are awesome!Design cabins with all the interior ideas are the piece of art. I still can hardly imagine how all these thing could have be invented, not to mention the implementation of all the ideas in a real life.We always remember with warmth the great dinner Thomas had cooked for us and his stories about dogs life.I hope we would be lucky enough to visit this lodge again some day.

It is just magical place. My friends and I spent only one night in June, but it was amazing.I really love the style of this place. A lot of interesting handmade details in interier, and in general is very cozy and warm atmosphere inside the appartments. The endlesses forest and wooden houses makes impression like in fairy tales. Also many huskies are here and they so cute and friendly)Only one minus in this amazing place at summer is a plenty moskitos, so highly recommend to take some protection from it and then you can enjoy by walking in the forest:)Very interesting to visit this place at winter, I can imagine how cozy and wonderful will be here:)

Now we realise the words of Sven Engholm:Once infected with the sled dog mushing virus, there is no cure, there is only trail!After our 5day Husky tour, it is very hard to come back in Belgium:seems that life can be differend!Thank you all @ Engholm, to give us the never to forgett and emotional experience.

Nice place to visit.

We booked a trip of a life time - the accommodation was amazing as was the food and we were very excited to get out sledding. Less than an hour into the trip someone who was behind my partner fell of their sled and let go of their dogs. There was a really bad accident where my partner was dragged by the other persons dogs and sled. Eventually she was freed from the tangle but had badly hurt her leg so couldnt compete the journey apart from as a passenger. The accident was not my partners fault but we were still charged to have the dogs returned to home base which I found really annoying. If we had had anchors the person who fell off would have been able to stop the accident. Now, three years later and after surgery to the knee my partner has ongoing back issues as a result of the accident which is now costing huge amounts of money and lost work time - its a nightmare. Engholm never acknowledged the accident or even asked if she was ok. It was a great trip for me but its had long-term consequences which would have been avoided had the safety been addressed better.

Unique place!!!

Husky farm with huts scattered in the forest. Very nicely laid out and well maintained. The huts are very lovingly designed. There are an incredible number of clever detailed solutions in it. Everything from an ecological point of view. Somebody made a dream come true.

Incredibly beautiful cabins, very good standard, original and tastefully decorated with handmade interior. Highly recommended!

With heat record, blue sky, lots of mosquitoes we could not run with the dogs. So it became relaxation.

All the cabins were very nice. The interior was very cool and much of the interior was found in nature, but it just made our stay even better. And the dogs were very cute, especially the puppies❤❤. I was very surprised by how creative the interior was !! Everything just fit together! I can only comment on the cabins, and there is nothing negative about putting your finger on it. Love the place👍👍

This property is memorable with all its handmade, wonderful details. At every turn you discover little wonders.The rooms are decorated with love and very clean, dinner and breakfast are a feast for the palate and eyes.

Its a great place with such a nice design that makes it worthwhile to just stop by to look at it.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in! A wonderful atmosphere, the cabins furnished with a mix of design and Sami style, complete with a fireplace in the center, all splendid!Staff very nice and very kind, the girl who welcomed us also came to warn us that there was the visible northern lights.Unfortunately we have not had time to do anything, but if they want to organize a lot of activities like hiking or sled dogs, highly recommended place.

This is definitely a destination worth several nights!

Highlights: Our stay at the Engholm Husky Design Lodge was one of the big highlights of our trip in the north of Norway. We spent two days and nights in the cave lodge Buvri (one of 9 lodges). Down to the smallest detail Sven (and his great team) designed everything. The proximity to the husky dogs (over 60 of them are kept there) was exceptionally beautiful. In addition, you can swim in the immediate vicinity in the river (very fresh but worth it). Conclusion: Highly recommended! The price is right.

The cabin, the dinner, the breakfast, everything is authentic, a magnificent experience.Waking up in the morning to howling dogs, magical.we will be back, longer, thats for sure.
