Ed and his crew were very professional. His granite was the best price . Jules the on site personKnows the material, and product so good, and was just so pleasant and awesome to work with. We must have changed our minds in the counter top 4 times, or more. Juels thank you for your patience and remembering the exact stone we wanted. On the day of install Val anf his crew were so on spot professional, and knowledgeable. Val took the time to explain the setting time, they cut a part of the counter top to fit around a pipe,kept the area clean and you would never know the cut he did was not ordered when it was cut at the factory. Thank you for respecting my place no mess tonclean up after thru left. Ed has a top notch crew working for him.

Talked to Ed on phone and had Sergei helping me at the yard. I just needed two window sills and was getting ridiculous pricing at other local shops. They had all kinds of fees, making the window sills price really high. These guys tried to help me out. Sergei really went out of his way to help me pick the right material and cut and polish to my specs/template.....which wasnt perfect. To make a long story short, I am super happy with the job they did for me. My daughter needs a kitchen done and I am recommending this place. As a owner of DO IT RIGHT Home Improvement LLC company, I have to say that couple of years ago I requested a quota from couple of granite companies and most of them never even got back to me, accept Ed from EdStoneinc. He responded very quickly, his price was very reasonable, his product looked great and installation was very spot on. I have been using Ed from that moment on all of my projects exclusively and I have been recommending his products to all of my customers that have all been very satisfied.

These guys are unbelievable. Very fast turnaround and very well priced. Also, they showed up to measure and install exactly when he told me they would. They were at my home installing 5 days after I called for an estimate. The counters look beautiful.

I used this company four times. All the time they were very quick (which was important in my case), accurate. and with a fair price. The people who work there aren’t afraid to do non standard work with granite. I had a delicate situation to reuse the same granite again which involved some other complicated and time-consuming work to be done. All the companies I called told me NO. Excellent service. I needed a quick turn around on a remodel to get my tenant’s kitchen functional on their return from vacation. Edvard came out on Thanksgiving day to estimate the job and his crew was installing the quartzite counters and sink the following Tuesday morning. I had called a half dozen other businesses in the Altamonte Springs area and was told at least 2-4 weeks for installation from the estimating date. The counters look great and the cost was very reasonable. The crew was very polite and did quality work. Thank you for a job well done!

Purchased new quartz countertop for our kitchen and bar area. Within two months there were knicks and scratches on the countertop. Called owner who did come out and stated that is not normal...it isnt supposed to do that. Told him I wanted replaced. He said go look at the other tops. We picked a Level 1 granite which is the cheapest there is. He expected us to pay half. Trying to communicate with owner is ridiculous. He interrupts at all times, unable to get one sentence out. He tells me to communicate via text. I do so and and tell him that I dont think I should have to pay for the replacement., we had already paid $5700. He states ok in text. I asked him to provide in writing. He does not respond. Sends his people out with the cut material and states I have to pay! This man is very rude. He is doing well right now and is staying busy so quite frankly he doesnt care. The quartz we purchased is not really quartz, it is cheap and not going to last 5 years. I have had several others since this time tell me that he is rude to them as well when trying to get customer service. Good luck with this establishment.

We are overall completely underwhelmed by the service we received from Edstone Inc from start to finish. From day 1, his abrupt, cold demeanor was a turn off. We should have listened to our guts then but his price and quick turn around time fit our needs so we were willing to overlook his gruff demeanor. This turned out to be our biggest mistake.I will say, we love the quartz counter top that was installed and the quality of the counter top itself seems top rate; but the installation and customer service (or lack thereof) after the installation was appalling.Our old countertop came to a 90 degree bend on the inside corners - this bend matched our cabinets. The quartz countertop installed by Edstone had rounded corners - it looks silly to have a cabinet meet in the corner at a solid 90 degrees and have the counter top over hang by a full 3 inches because the corners are rounded (see photos). When called to Edstones attention, his reply was Its installed now, theres nothing I can do about it. He then tried to blame us for not being clear about what we wanted. If you review the drawing Edstone provided us (picture below), one can see that the corners are at drawn at a perfect 90 degrees (circled in red). So I guess a screw up on Edstones part becomes our problem. The same gruff demeanor he had on his first visit was intensified when confronted with this customer service issue to the point of blaming us for the problem. He refused to fix the problem so we are left unhappy and unsatisfied.To top it off, literally the week before we had some drywall work done around the area where the counter top was being installed; 3 of the 4 corners were significantly damaged to the point that I now have to go back and repair them myself. (see more photos).We were hoping because of all the good reviews he had, that we would have the same experience. Sadly, we did not. Because of our experience and interactions with the owner, we can only give one star.If you do decide to go with Edstone, be crystal clear about what you want, where you want it and how you want it. And inspect EVERYTHING closely.

We hired this company to do the granite in our 2 bathrooms and kitchen. Edvard came out to our house and measured, came back a second time to get the template for the kitchen sink.When they arrived the template cut for the kitchen sink was the wrong size and the granite was cut in the wrong place. We have a very small house and the size of the granite for the kitchen did not fit through the door per their workers. The bathroom sinks didn’t fit either. When they came back the second time, the granite in the kitchen was the same shape and when we couldn’t get it in the house and we asked to have it re-cut Edvard told his workers to take the granite and leave. No call no, explanation nothing. I would not recommend this company at all.

I generally don’t provide ratings but thought I should for this company. Ed Stone came to our house to measure and used, what I call, old technology for measuring the spaces. (handout templates) Didn’t really say anything at the time but when they came to install the granite there were several pieces that did not fit correctly. Gaps from the wall were so wide backsplash tile and grout barely covered theses areas. They even proceeded to cut trim around a door facing that should not have needed cutting if they measured correctly. Secondly one of the installers were ask about these areas and was he was very disrespectful. I can appreciate they were quick in delivering the counter tops but not in the way they prepared the stone or their installers attitude.

Edward came and gave me an estimate which was 35% lower than the next cheapest place, saving me almost $1,500...they came and installed the counters and new sink 12 days later, took 3 hours, and did a great job...i was worried about the seam not being level, but by the time his guys had finished doing the job, the seam is virtually invisible...the quality of the quartz is beautiful...very happy with the job and would recommend.

Was told I was going to receive a call but instead I got a text message (very teenage like) and told to come into the office because I don’t have my cabinets installed. I am owner builder and bid out my jobs before I make a decision. This store did not give me a reason to travel to Orlando to do business. I will keep it local.

I recently had Edstone Inc to install granite countertops in my kitchen. Their prices beat the two other competitors I had gone to by nearly $400. Edvards installation crew was very professional, keeping the area as clean as possible and the quality of the stone is excellent. I have an older home with walls that are not square and the installation crew did what was necessary to fit my granite countertop into those corners. It looks great. I must say that my countertop had no seams, so I cannot speak to this companys ability to handle seams. I would recommend Edstone Inc to anyone.

I checked around like most do and found Edstone on CL. I needed a bathroom done, priced it out several places and then talked to Ed. I was worried because he was so much more affordable than the other big box stores. I gave him a shot and heres what happened.He Came to our house within two days of us calling him for a quote. He quoted an unbelievable price and told us it would be installed within 10 days. His terms were, pay when we finish and you are completely happy. If you arent happy we will fix it and then you pay. How do you argue with that? Our Bathroom walls were not square but the granite was cut precisely and he made it look perfect. He sealed it before he left and it looks great. For the money, the exceptional job, how quickly he had it done and the way he immediately returned all of our calls... Id use him again.There are several grades of granite and you should educate yourself to what you want or need. I knew from looking around and I purchased a good quality. That said, Ed was upfront about the qualities, grades and prices. Excellent experience that isnt common in Florida.

If you are looking to upgrade your countertops I can wholeheartedly recommend Granite countertops by Edstone Inc in Orlando. After taking proposals from three different companies we chose Traditional Designs. The bottom line is they offered the best value for the money and were great to work with. They replaced our old counters, sinks, and faucets with new quartz countertop, new sinks, and new faucets. Their plumber also replaced the faucet in our kitchen. Now we have gorgeous, fresh looking and updated bathrooms and we love them! The installers were nice guys and very competent and their plumber was great also. Ed in the office worked in such a way that we really felt he wanted us to be very happy when all was done. They earned our business. We are very happy with the installation of the quartz countertops and backsplash in our kitchen. We contacted Edstone Inc on December 11 and they came out the same night to measure. We selected and did a contract the same night. They did the installation two days later on Saturday. One day installation which is unheard of. Workers were professional and very efficient. The cost was less than we had been quoted in several places. Would recommend countertops by Edstone Inc.

I am a Handyman by trade so when I measure anything, I make sure its measured more then once. I take pride in my work so I make sure I do it right the first time. I cant say the same for this company. I gave them measurements for a granite top, and they did not go with these measurements. It was a simple one piece counter top. All measurements were off and then he (Ed)said to me that my measurements were wrong. REALLY!! What I wanted and what he brought me was two different things. This is common sense stuff. He made me feel unimportant by his reaction and by not going with the blueprint I gave him. To make matters worse, I had to make out a check for more than I was originally quoted. This is bad business practice. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

I purchased a granite this past Oct 2014 from Ed Stone Granite in Orlando, Fl. 2 days later, there were several stains. He came over and re-sealed it. This occurs daily. He came and re-sealed it again time 3. Each time he promised to refund my money if the staining continued. After the 3 rd time, he was very disrespectful and accused me of doing something to it. He further explained that I cant get it wet, While I was cooking, I put a fork on the granite after I stirred my pot- he was upset and told me not to do that.Although he promised to refund my money, he has refused to respond to my calls. To add insult to injury, he hung up on me when I called to have him remove this garbage from my kitchen.The granite stains daily from water marks, a damp kitchen towel, a wet plate, a wet utensil. This is a granite, not a baby. His only answer is that I should not do that to it, because according to him I tell my wife be gentle to it. My only resort is to take him to court.

I dont usually take the time to review companies but I had to in this situation. I used Ed for a rental property remodel that I did. The granite guy who did my house was out of country and left me hanging. On short notice i had to find a new granite company to do the install before tenants moved in on an already signed lease. I got 4 other quotes to make sure I was getting a reasonable price! Ed was one, the rest were very unprofessional I can tell and I didnt have faith that they would keep there word. I found Ed online, I called him, and at 8am SUNDAY MORNING he was at the property...took the measurements and gave me a quote. I explained tenants were moving on thursday and if he could do a quick install. He said yes and gave me his word and kept it. He installed it that tuesday! Price was reasonable, and I was glad to pay it to someone who can do the quick install and keep his word. most people will take your money and delay delay delay, especially in the construction industry. He is professional in an industry were the vast majority of people are not professional and fly by night. He is the real deal.
