Amazing, amazing, amazing! I loved the food. It was absolutely delicious. The sandwiches are huge and have great taste. The atmosphere is so cool. I love the paintings and the eclectic vibe. The staff is so nice. I can see myself coming here often 😁

This was the best coffee l had during a five day trip to Orlando. I loved it so much that l returned a second morning. I wish they had earlier hours on the weekends, but l was able to visit on a Monday and Tuesday morning. The vibe is chill and cozy, which l appreciate. Photos dont do this place justice - its so cool. While l was waiting for my drink, l enjoyed walking around and checking out all the artwork on the walls. I liked both the butterbeer latte and the cinnamon roll latte. The red velvet espresso cookie is delicious. The baristas were friendly and kind. The bathroom was clean.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this place by far deserves it. Moment you walk in you’ll feel a gentle peace in the atmosphere and a warm welcome. The guy in the front was very helpful and patient with the order. Food was delicious and the chef was very talented.Highly recommended to come and relax, chill, study or to just spend time with friends by the pool table.

I loved this coffee shop! It was a rather eccentric, edgy and eclectic looking art shop and I enjoyed every piece of art work that was displayed. The staff was super chill and cool and the overall ambience of the coffee shop was so relaxing and made me feel like I was in someone’s home. I loved the dim lights and the music selection was AMAZING!I got the creme brûlée chai tea latte and it was so dang good! They even light it up and brûlée the sugar right in front of you which makes for a very cool experience!I also got a chicken pita and that was delicious as well.

We were looking to get some coffee an just looked up coffee shops and achellis popped up. When we pulled up it was super cute on the outside very hipster. When we went in we where very surprised by the art and the vibes.. the coffee was excellent!! I got a warm croissant with butter, it was a tad over done but still good.. we definitely recommend this coffee shop! Check them out! Good service very sweet girl at the counter!

Didnt have avocado spead, super bummed. Achilles was decently flavored, and the toasted tuna was delicious, now for the fries, they seems oven toasted with parm, black pepper and something that tasted like curry powder. Didnt taste any truffle at all. Hmmmmm, WOULD SOMEONE ELSE HELP IDENTIFY THE TRUFFLE AND IF THESE FRIES ARE TOASTED OR FRIED? THE FEATHER WAS A NICE DESIGN TO A AWESOME CUP OF CAFE LATTE. The customer staff were touching all guest that arrived hugs arms around neck and long hair woman (witnessed 3 times to many), as a first time visit...and covid running our world. staff may want to take some precautions on the touching policy, then serving others. To say that this place is great is an understatement. The food is amazing! We had the chicken salad sandwich and the Cuban sandwich, both of which were very unique and delicious! I loved the garlic dipping sauce that came with the Cuban. It was nice to see that the beer selection included with the combo had unique beers! This place is definitely a Hidden Gem.

My first time visiting today. Very quaint. Love that they have outdoor seating options. I ordered their chicken salad to go. Got it on sourdough bread. LITERALLY one of the best salads you can have. Delicious and very filling.One note: they are no longer on Wilshire. They moved to 2295 S. Hiawassee Road.

A definite vibe. The outside was inviting. Seating area was cozy and homey. Inside felt just right; as if this was my usual chill spot.The art all around the cafe was beautiful and creative. It’s a great cafe for studying, hanging with friends, or just grabbing a quick coffee, the ambiance here is unmatched. Not only is the coffee good their kitchen is also very diverse beyond regular cafe pastries they also make a wide range of food and drinks. Really recommend if you like Mediterranean food, art and decorum.

From outside, this coffee shop looks unimposing. Especially since the wall marquee just says Coffee Shop. But inside it has a bohemian aesthetic that feels like it belongs in New York. The service was good. The Latte specials are surprisingly creative. I got a Butterbeer latte and, after some additional stirring, it tasted like butterbeer. Also surprising, this coffee bar sells beer. I tried the Einstök Icelandic IPA. AND to top off this unique experience there was an open mic night...FYI they have tarot readings on Tuesdays...but anyways. Completely unique experience and I highly recommend it.

Waste of money!We asked for a brewed coffee, suggested if we wanted latte when we said we didn’t like milk, they ended up serving a latte and charged us 1.75 for 3 pumps of syrup that we didn’t ask and extra for milk, $5.25 for 1 coffee which wasn’t even we we asked. The exterior furniture is pretty worn out

This place is pure magic!! The ambiance and energy is wonderful. Definitely my new favorite Cafe to go to for working and studying. You HAVE to try the creme brulee chai, it is the BEST chai I have ever had. And I have had many chai teas in my life!! The Italian sodas are very tasty and refreshing (I recommend the black raspberry). I also highly recommend trying the delicious food!! Try the caprese sandwiche! Jem and her staff are very welcoming and make you feel like family when you meet them! I will definitely be back to try more drinks and food.

Ive been going there for the past 10 years and Ive noticed a reduction in quality of food, cleanliness, and customer service from your new staff.Why did I have to witness two staff members smooching behind the counter while Im waiting to order.Or, coming up to the counter to only be stared at by a young kid and not be greeted.Ive loved the coffee shop but Im becoming disappointed.

I finally found my perfect study spot! This place is cute, cozy and has such a nice homey feel to it. The food and coffee is really good and the prices are also very responsible. The Wifi is also strong, I had three of my devices connected to it and I didnt have any lag or problems with it. The staff are also so adorable and nice. A big plus from me is the music! The musics vibe match the coffee shop and it completes the overall feel. Definitely going to be coming here more often

Achilles Cafe is one the best Coffee shops in Orlando Florida. Tucked away in Metrowest, once discovered its like finding treasure. The ambiance is bliss. Smooth jazz music and art work has brings you to laid back vibe. Great selection of coffees, cappuccinos, cakes, muffins, and croissants. The staff here is amazing. I had the pleasure of having Savannah. The customer service she provided is phenomenal. Ask for Savannah if you go and youll see what I mean.This is a great place to study, work, have meetings, book club, and to bring someone on a date. In essence, great place and phenomenal staff members like Savannah.

What a fun little find! When I lived in Orlando we found this little place on Google and it was such a good find. The food and coffee was excellent. The atmosphere was top notch! When you ask where your coffee is they make you feel like you are the reason for the delay. And they keep taking orders, not letting anyone know how long it will take to get your order. Absolute joke.I find your reply disrespectful, I do not accept your insulting poor excuse for an apology, how long does it take to pour two coffees and give one cupcake for a take out. Is over an hour reasonable for you? It isnt for me.

I remember mentioning to my best friend this is a safe haven.The shop made think of TV show Friend in terms of ambiance.They have many arts all around and their seating options are comfortable.This is also great place for first dates especially if youre getting to know someone. The drinks and foods were all tasty and worthwhile.The service was good, and the variety of coffee they served was very satisfying to know. If you like your coffee shops, then this is a must-visit!

Achilles Art Cafe is amazing! Because everything is to-go now, I wasnt able to fully enjoy this coffee shop but my experience was fantastic. I ordered the caprese panini w/ no bacon and iced butterbeer latte to go and it was probably the best sandwich Ive ever had and one of the best coffees Ive had in my life. I loved the atmosphere with all the art and the owner was also extremely nice. Please do yourself a favor and try this place out!

I will be honest I dont know how anyone can enjoy a cup of coffee taste/aroma in a shop that smells like a grilled cheese toaster, non stop. Good Vent/ air/ smell is a HUGE factor to a decent atmosphere. Honestly. Customer service is just ok, no special espresso making artistry ( and I dont mean a stupid Starbucks drink), bare minimum.

It was the coffee shops from Friends and Fraiser came together and offered the best of both in real life. The comfy setting made it easy to relax and the coffee was next level. The barista definitely knows her stuff. This little shop is a best secret no longer.

I liked this cafe the first time I went, but the second time was in the afternoon on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy. There was no one working behind the counter and but they were in the back having a prolonged conversation. There isn’t even a bell at the front to catch the person’s attention. We waited at least 15 mins for the person to come back to the register and when they did other customers had come into the cafe and basically formed a line, which meant we who had gotten there before these other people now had to go to the back of the line and wait even longer. It was only when a bunch of people came into the cafe that the person serving came from the back. So we just left. We understand it’s a laidback place but to be in a conversation in the back for almost 15 or 20 mins is a little too laid back. At least put a bell or something up front.

This place is so legit! I post up here about 1-2 times a week, and enjoy a nice tea. The owner is really nice, as well as the staff. Also, the food is unreal how delicious it is. I have had their flatbreads and pita sandwiches. Definitively stop by if youre in the area!

Came to spend the weekend in Orlando from about an hour away. Found this gem of a place!!! Normally when going out of town we like to find little coffee shops, not your typical chain place. Wow, is all I have to say. I tried 4 coffees the 2 times we came here. First day I had the tiramisu iced and the snickers iced as well. Second time I had the dulce de leche and smores, both hot. Great mixing up!!! My husband had the almond joy today, hot, which was out of this world and the cinnamon crumb cake the other day they were both great. I had the turkey pineapple the first time and the caprese this time. You can def split the sandwich between 2, or save leftovers for later. The caprese was SO flavorful!!!!!! My husband had thr Achilles this time, which was pretty bomb and the chicken salad sandwich the first day. Everything we ate and drank here was top notch. Jamie was working the first time we came, and she is a little piece of treasure. Didnt get the guys name from today, but they are both quiet, respectful, hard working, and just nice gentle souls. I love the ambiance of this place. My family is of greek decent and I just like that cozy family feel here. Very chill. Welcoming. Relaxing. Nice and very diverse genres of music, totally my style. Cant say enough good things. Cant wait to get back!!!

I was super excited to show my boyfriend this coffee shop because I had come here a few weeks ago and had a great experience. But tonight was everything but... the barista was incredibly rude to my boyfriend.. because of this I decided to cancel the order and walk out. My boyfriend was having a hard time making a drink decision and all this man had to do was suggest a few drinks but instead he was incredibly rude. I refuse to spend money at a place where I feel unwanted. The atmosphere completely changed when he approached us. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but this was overboard. We went Friday 04/16 at 9:45pm. I did not catch the baristas name but this should not be the standard especially at a cool place like this.

Wow. The place is seriously underrated. The Peppermint Mocha Specialty Latte was delicious as always. However, the first one on the sandwich list, the Achilles sandwich is so incredible I can say is the best sandwich Ive had!! Do not remove anything on it please, leave it as it comes unless you are allergic to something of course. The flavors that come through and how good everything goes together is honestly INSANE!! Also pricing is perfect, so underrated... Keep it up Achilles!!

We live right down the street and choose Achilles over Starbucks, Dunkin, or any other competitor coffee. The atmosphere is unique inside Achilles with paintings, lights, and lots of odds and ends. Doesnt have the same clean white look as many coffee spots these days, which is charming in my opinion. Always inviting and clean and i have never had trouble finding a nice little space to wait in. We love supporting such a kind and genuine local business that gives artists a spot too. Usually we only order iced coffees and theyre delicious with many flavors to choose from. I had tomato soup once too which was surprisingly really good!Overall if youre not looking to take a gamble and just need a reliable cup of coffee in a unique setting you should just go here

So this place is hard for me to rate. I think the food and coffee are both great but it’s very difficult for me to recommend. I have been multiple times and most have been good experiences but the bad ones leave a very bad taste in my mouth. Waiting 2+ hours for a complete order of 5 people is borderline laughable. If the kitchen truly is that small you shouldn’t be operating with food in the first place. The people working have been friendly and I think the atmosphere is unique. The only way I’d recommend it is if you have no plans for the next few hours.

Cozy, quiet atmosphere. My coworker and I stopped here to get work done on business trip and it was great. Plenty of outlets so you can plug things in from any table/couch. The WiFi is strong and didn’t drop out once. The staff and the other customers were all very friendly. The Achilles Sandwich and their specialty lattes are a must try. Would definitely recommend to any college students or business people needing a cozy, quiet place to work.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Orlando. Their Achilles sandwich is one of a kind. Other pretty amazing items on rheir menu are their Tuna sandwich(not your typical tuna salad it even has avocado) their hummus platter(pita, lettuce with tomatoes and feta cheese). Their creme brulee late is to die for! The coziness and artistic look and feel of the place makes it one to remember.

Its really good its a place where people can come in and talk also hang out with friends and make new friends too.

I had a very POOR experience here. Upon me sitting down I was approached by the owner (Im assuming) and he TOLD me to place an order. I responded back with yes sir. He then approached me again within 5 minutes but this time he was even more angry, for what reason, I dont know. He initiated this conversation with I was nice the first time, place and order or leave! He then spoke for another 30 seconds and I sat here listening respectfully, and when he ran out of breath (Im assuming), he tried walking away but I said excuse me sir.He turned around, I then proceeded to TRY and inform him on why I have not placed an order: I have not placed an order yet because I am not thirsty as of now... at this point I was cut off with a very rude I dont care, order or leave. If you dont leave I will call the police.I travel to different coffee shops and work. I have people who take my recommendations on shops and I do my best to bring in more business to fine establishments.Due to a very poor first experience I will NOT be returning.Side note: as someone who is building their own business, this was a fine example of what NOT to do. I have never and WILL never yell at one of my customers.

I love coming to Achilles Art Café I’ve been coming since I first moved to Orlando back in 2017 it’s always been comforting in the hospitality has been five stars. I definitely met my closest friends I’ve still been friends with to this day here at this café.I recently came back to Orlando to visit and of course I had to stop at my favorite café with my favorite people.I love the idea to order food before you sit down it definitely keeps the riffraff out. The fact that I can smoke hookah drink my tea eat my food and have an open tab and fill it up is definitely what I called customer service.Everything was perfect EXCEPT I bought a hummus platter for my vegan wife and they put feta on it. I have to sleep with her so her lactose intolerance stomach won’t be fun this evening. 😩

First time visiting this coffee house, the ambiance reminded me of the coffee shops that I miss back home. I not only enjoyed my dulce de leche latte, the Achilles sandwich was amazing. To top it all off the customer service was most pleasant. I will definitely be returning.

Achilles Art Cafe is a gem. This is my home away from home. Staff is incredible. Owner runs this place like a well oiled machine. Coffee is ALWAYS incredible, no matter what you choose. Sandwiches are the best! The atmosphere is so cozy, comfortable, and clean. It has been gaining popularity over the past few years because it is always packed now, but much continued success to the owner. No better place to grab a coffee and study.
