I shop here regularly. I enjoy the variety of meats they offer, which cater to the old soul food cuisine. They also have a produce section located in the same building - next door. Most of the produce is fresh, however, if you buy berries or grapes, be prepared to toss half into the garbage. Other fruit and vegetables are great.

When I lived in Orlando Florida, it was the best place for meat and produce for the community, their prices are very good for low income families, everyone that works there are very nice and helpful, and friendly.May God continue to bless them, and keep there business open.

They definitely are not the same as they used to be. Their prices are high and they have cut the meat. They are cheating their customers out of their product. I will no longer be shopping there.

I have been going to Star for Yrs...Why Does the Souse Taste Different now, I purchased 2packs on 4-24-21 and it just doesnt taste like it use to. Too thick and a lot more gristle than normal, go back to original recipe. Not Good at all cant even eat it!

I got there around 2pm and was so pleased that it was not crowed. A few of their prices are a little steep, like their eggs but overall, good prices, fresh meats and produce isnt bad.. I save so much on my meats than I would have at these big brand named stores!

I love Star Meats & Produce. I been shopping here for years. When I was young, they made sure you get a pamphlet telling you about Jesus. Thats why I love shopping there because its a christian-based organization. I just love the meat, the fruits and vegetables. Thank you all for your services.

The place is ok. Its clean and small. I was surprised by some of the prices. So cheat some high but the meat choices were more for certain ethical groups of people. Which is great if you are looking for meats you cant find in Walmart or Publix. Only issue is the parking. Its a small lot and people with big vehicles would have a hard time getting in or out.

I was able to get in and out quickly. Everything was organized and the employees were helpful and friendly. Prices are good with a nice variety of products offered.

Parking lot is very small but that would be the only downside to this gem. Great variety of meats to choose from. They are pricey but it depends on what meat you are going for, never the less it is reasonable. Staff are helpful and courteous. The produce section which is seperate from the meats which I really like is great also. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I recommend honestly.

I love Mercy meat market. Ive been shopping there for most of my life. Some prices have gone up a bit but, for the most part I cant complain. They have have everything Im looking for when I shop.

Not enough parking space. Clean cuts of meat, but a little pricey. Packs of meat are broken down and priced separately. Kissimmee Produce is BETTER. I would shop here only because it was convenient and close to my home.Staff was very friendly. Very Clean.

We have been shopping here for over 10 years and I can say from first hand experience that the quality of meats has dropped DRASTICALLY over the years. In the past two months I have purchased turkey wings and have had to throw them away due to it being rotten and old. I think weve learned our lesson and will no longer be shopping here for our meat and produce.

Went to every market in the area but either no choice of cuts or priced way too high! Only 26 min from Altamonte Springs; Star is the best deal for beef in Central Florida!

Its an ok store that been around over 40 years. So like a lot of things with time it wears down. But Ive been coming here since I was a child,1978. And not much has changed. Only thing is, this is the place everyone goes to in Orlando for like major holidays, so I would be prepared to wait to find a parking space. Which is why I only gave it 3 stars. Parking is a nightmare

If you need custom cuts, special orders this meat market you need. They actually butcher the meat in the store. Friendly staff and there is always an officer in the parking lot to help the flow of traffic.
