Nice Publix. Its conveniently close to my Dr. office.UPDATE: The Publix at University and Dean has closed temporarily (🤔around April 2021) for renovations.

Every one is friendly there and I love the bogos.

I have shopped at this Publix Dozens of times and it is always a great experience for me. The store is clean and the staff is never rude or mean. On June the 5th 2021 at 7 PM, this Publix will close temporarily so a new Publix can be built where the old 1 stands now.

Always amazing. Except for the bread order. No longer make it daily but when my parents come visit we order it. I ordered for mothers day and was told. We dont make that. But finally had it made.

The facilities seemed more than fine how they were, a good old fashion publix from my childhood and hometown in sarasota. All the publixs there shared the same plan. I dont understand why they needed to closed it down.

This store has been phenomenal about COVID safety precautions since the beginning. Always clean. The people are great too.

Like any Publix, good place to buy your groceries. Like always their deli and bakery are awesome 👌

DON’T SHOP AT THIS LOCATION. The deli is always busy, and no employees help expedite the lines. We never know which line we’re in. We got rotten fish from the seafood section and corporate did nothing when I complained. Today my partner came home with a “pub sub”. They made a sandwich with a dry hoagie roll instead of the actual good bread loafs and charged us the same price.

Awesome publix, it is currently under renovation so its only going to get better!

I had a great experience shopping at this Publix! I usually shop for groceries at Trader Joe’s, but was in a rush and stopped by this location. An employee named Matt W was so helpful and knowledgeable about where to find things and thanks to his friendly and positive attitude I will be shopping at this Publix from now on! :) Give this man a raise!

The way I will start this review is that all my friends and family and my neighborhood call this “the bad publix”This is a decent publix. The main issue I have is sometimes the staff is limited. I usually have issues with the fish section here. I have had multiple times where i have had to wait 10-15 mins by the fish counter for them to never come out of the back. They come out of the back, see you, and then day “i’ll go get someone” and they never come back.This, and never never have enough check out staff. Usually they will have one or two lanes open, one with the 10 items or less section.But otherwise they are usually friendly and nice. I go here all the time, it is mear my home, but if I am shopping for a big meal or something importan, i will drive further to go to a better Publix.

Every single person that I encountered in this publix today was so kind, helpful, and even offered suggestions on how to prepare my meal. And the manager was the kindest of them all. If you are looking for hospitality and good food head over to this publix

Publix is amazing and Leana (hope I remembered her name correctly 😬), is outstanding. Always a pleasurable experience and if she’s there I go straight for her lane. For what it’s worth I tried to tip her and she declined, I’m sure it’s policy but pay attention to this young lady.

Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of checkout lines, great deli section, and I love the weekly BOGO deals. A number of times, Publix staff members have gone out of their way to help me find something. There’s consistently a friendly and welcoming attitude.

I usually go to another grocery store but got discouraged because they did not have a few items that I needed. On my way to my new home, I stopped at Publix because it is my mother’s birthday and she happens to be diabetic....she loves her sweets, so I went in and to my surprise!!! The bakery department had sugar free cakes!!!! I am a happy new customer and the customer service is AMAZING!!! Bravo to the staff!!!

I love this Publix everyone is so nice and helpful!

David wss the cashier: he did not greet me nor did he say any parting words. However, he sounded enthusiastic with the lady behind. He also bagged my 7 soups and threw them after bagging them. Didnt give me my total nor any savibgs. I dont know what it is about this location but 90% of the times Ive been to this location the team members havent been customer service friendly to me. I dont want to think its reace related but.....The only person who has been welcoming to me is the older gentleman who wears the pink button down shirt. I drive from near UCF to the Publix on Goldenrod Road and University Blvd because they make sure to let me know that I am welcomed and so is my money.

I did not feel safe in this Publix this morning. They have a sign on the front door telling guest they are require to wear face mask. However I counted six people not wearing face mask inside. Non of the employees asked them to leave or put one on.

Walked in there this morning to cash a stimulus check had to repeat myself to the customer service 3x to let her know what type of check it was then to get a rude response saying we dont change checks over $500.00 with an attitude & I go there on a regular basis but went to walmart & Glenda had the best morning Vibe for the day made her laugh & thanked her the best customer service.

Theyve had a great stock and great service all through the past few months! I really appreciate having such a nice store nearby.

Closing today for an almost year long remodel

Ive live next to this Publix for roughly 6 years now and have always been disappointed with anything from selection to the staff. The bakery makes an everything bagel loaf that is maybe available 1 out of the 10 visits to the store. I frequent this store at least 3 times a week sometimes 5 because it is so close to my house, yet like I said I RARELY find that loaf. That is my main complaint, all the other stuff I’m mentioning is an inconvenience. KIND makes a cinnamon granola that I discovered recently and loved, I ended up buying a bag of it 3 or 4 weeks in a row! One day I went in and it wasn’t available. I figured they were waiting on an order to come in, NOPE! They took the label off the shelf and haven’t had it in a month. Locatelli pecorino romano graded cheese that I’ve been buying for the 6 years I’ve lived here sporadically, all of a sudden it’s gone off the shelf as of recently and replaced with generic Publix brand stuff. I went by the hot case for lunch one day because I had the smokehouse meals at another Publix while I was working with a vinegar barbecue that I LOVED. So I thought I would be able to get the same sauce they offered with the smokehouse meals at the Publix by my house. I ordered the meal and asked for the sauce that was advertised as an included item. Out of the 4 employees in the deli, not one knew about any sauces that were included with the barbecue meals. One of them even pointed at the ranch and buffalo sauce that you charge extra for. I politely declined and pointed to the sign that i saw the sauces advertised on, and of course they didn’t have any of those sauces. After about 5 mins of going back and fourth with employees about these sauces they’re supposed to have with these barbecue meals, I left feeling disappointed and haven’t had a meal from the hot case there since because of the embarrassment I went through after basically arguing with the deli about a sauce they’re supposed to have that they have no clue about. It doesn’t matter because I just take my business to the Publix on Aloma that is close enough to my house and ALWAYS ALWAYS has the stuff I’m looking for and the staff is insanely more friendly and polite

Publix stores are usually great experiences. Tonight they went above and beyond, had everything I needed and the manager helped me out the store which she could have gotten anyone to do! I wish I could remember her name... Thank you!

The manager at Publix carried a bag to my car and his humility blew my mind. I was very moved by his gesture, that despite his position, offered to walk out with me and we had a great short conversation. I prefer people who pay that much attention to human interactions, altruism and compassion. For that Publix will always be my number one grocery store.P.S. I always enjoy shopping at this store and like interracting with everyone there.

My review is in reference to their hot case and sandwich bar. This place is very hit and miss, especially if youre going for the hot case. Certain days are great and you get helped right away. Other days youre just a side thought and you never get helped. Ive had plenty of experiences where I left empty handed because I was tired of being ignored.All Im asking for is a consistent experience. I hate going home hungry. Police your staff!

Very clean store. However only reason I am writing this review is so she will be commended for great service. Elaine the associate who made my sub was extremely friendly and had a great smile that brightened my mood. Its service like this that has me coming back to this publix. Elaine deserves an immediate promotion. I truly hope her supervisor sees this. As a manager I hope all of my employees treat our customers with this great service.

They always have what I need and everyone is always friendly!This is an older store, so, its bit smaller, but, you can still find everything you need! It looks relatively unchanged since the 80s. The kind of Publix I remember as a kid.Stop by soon!

So Ive enjoyed my experience so far, I love publix in general and have always used it, but since they apparently discontinued sourdough baguettes in the bakery its put a monkey wrench in what Ive been doing. Everyother Publix Ive been too has a bin where they mix the sourdough and italian 5 grain baguettes in, but they do this bread of the month thing...probably to cut costs in dough ordering or something.I like walking to your store everyother day to buy fresh bread, but if youre gonna make me go to a different store now to buy fresh bread thats not cuban or french, then youre going to cut a customer; I am definitely not calling the bakery everyother day to get them to bake me one like youre associate told me too (she was nice, not her fault).

I love the cleanliness and friendliness of Publix their staff they are very helpful and very quick to be there if you need them. I enjoy shopping at the Publix on Dean Rd and University Blvd. And thats very very unusual. Thank you again Publix for being great and professional in the way you treat your customers

I was picking up a script with a friend who had switched from private health insurance to Medicare just within this last month. We were surprised to discover that Medicare does not cover prescriptions. The pharmacist was kind and patient along with being so knowledgeable and helpful. That is why we go out of our way to come to this pharmacy.

I called to ask what age they hired and the lady was very polite and also it gave me extra information. Whoever was answering the phone was very polite and nice.

I went to the bakery looking for whole wheat mountain bread with no luck or assistance. I went to the produce section looking for edamame with no luck or assistance. I went to the seafood counter looking for salmon with no luck or assistance. I went to the bread aisle looking for whole wheat English muffins with no luck or help. Almost ten employees and managers wished me a good morning though. The cashier asked me if I found everything I was looking for. He said thats a lot of stuff when I started listing the missing items. I asked if he cared or if he asked expecting me to say I found everything.

Employees in the deli made our experience of getting 2 subs into over 30minutes. A manager named Jen is all chat and laughing with customers while neglecting us and being short. Its a shame, the subs are amazing. Also another employee is making subs with no regard for speed.

Horrible customer service cashier Matt W didn’t even greet me. He didn’t speak to me at all Throughout the whole transaction. I find that very disrespectful.

The employment is high quality. When you ask a staff member what aisle would cookies be on?, they dont just say ummmm......maybe... Aisle 3? they would actually take you to aisle 6 and shoe where cookies are.

I love to go to PUBLIX. Always clean and organized. Employees are very friendly. But when it comes down to prices, they need to start evaluating those. Id been visiting this store for 29 years, but instead, I decided to go to Wal-Mart in Aloma, where I can find the same exact product, about $3.00 below and sometimes even more. Very disappointedHope they can do better on regard.

This is the 11th time a Publix deli has dropped the ball for me and the 3rd time for this one specifically. I placed a simple order of 20 breaded hot wings. Because of past experiences, I made sure they heard me correctly and got my name. They told me itd be a 15 minute wait. I arrive 20 minutes later and to my surprise (not really) they have nothing under my name and told me Id have to wait 15-20 more minutes. Ive verified that I called my order in to the same store.

Its a great Publix with fantastic staff! The layout is a bit weird, and it takes a while to find your groceries, but it is clean, and the employees are nice and helpful.

Best quality produce, seafood and meat. Look for bogo deals for other items.

Spent forth if July at a hotel and was able to go to publix and bought a fresh dinner to make for my family!! Everyone raved about the rotisserie chicken fresh veggies and the redskin potatoes with butter that was already pre-packaged and microwave ready

In all honesty, this Publix hit different.

Sometimes the Keebler cookies taste stale. I am referring to the coconut chocolate chip cookies.

I couldnt get to deli today for my On Line order I placed for 1pm I arrived at 9:50pm PM, and Deli was closing, But they kindly provided the Ham I needed for my Big party sunday. :)
