Fantastic place to get wine-making supplies! They have glass carboys in 3 5 and 6.5 gallon sizes for a reasonable price. All the supplies you would need, including bottles by the case. And they sell raw local honey too. Friendly and knowledgeable assistance if you need help. Definitely recommend!

Tucked away inside Rock Pit Brewery this place is a gem. Operated by the super friendly and knowledgeable Jeremy Pittman you can pick up just about anything for your home brewing needs. While you are there enjoy some exceklent craft brew beer and dynamite BBQ food offerings. We had a fantastic afternoon and a memorable experience.

Super helpful staff for a newbie such as myself. They offer a class that walks you through the home brew process and have kits you can buy to take home and run through it yourself. Every time Ive been in there they have answered all my questions and made sure I got what I need.

Either Im being overcharged or the website is drastically wrong because on my last 3 visits, the price at the register has been far more than I estimated based on their website prices.

After many visits in just a few short weeks, I have to say that the staff, their knowledge of brewing, and willingness to be helpful...are all of the highest quality. I always leave the shop knowing more than when I arrived, and with exactly the pieces and ingredients I need. Stayed for a drink at the bar a few times, and found that they have an abundance of well crafted, and very tasty beers as well. Anyone with home brewing needs or wants to take a class on how to home brew, or is just thirsty needs to come here first! Accept no substitutes!

Paid this store a visit because Ive been wanting to learn how to make my own mead. Spoke with Chris while we were there - very knowledgeable, friendly, and more than happy to spend a while answering newbie questions. He made sure I had what I needed to get started, but at no point did I ever feel like I was being back up-sold. Well definitely be back.

This brewery is very impressive! Sign up for a class on DIY home brewing beer $30 for a 3 1/2 hour class. Which included two 12 ounces of beer plus lunch, a trip back 2 weeks letter to bottle the beer that was fermented! This was on a Saturday afternoon, which was very busy a lot of people dropping in to socialize and have a cold one.

Top notch and friendly staff. Priced very well and ready to accommodate. The staff goes above and beyond with giving advice. Walked in looking to just poke around and happened to be a brew day so was invited to join in and watch while offered samples of brews they have done before and even free pizza. Its only one of few ways to a grown mans heart really. Ill be back many times over for sure.

This store has moved. They are now under the same roof as Rockpit Brewing at 10 W Illiana Street. Still the same great supplies for home brewing!

Absolutely incredible. We told Jeremy that we liked a beer we had in NC, and he went out of his way to contact the brewery to help us make our very own version. He also helped us with all our measurements for the recipe! We have completely stopped going to other home brew supply stores and now just go straight to him. You should probably do the same :)

Everything, and I do mean everything you need to make your own homebrew, Mead, wine or ale. The large cans of such a wide variety of grains allow you to truly customize your own blend exactly to your tastes. The selection of brewing containers alone is worth stopping in to see. Id been looking for a place that I can get the parts for spigots without having to buy a whole kit. Now that I know where to go to pick them up, Im able to plan my home set-up better. Several types of sanitizers to choose from to prep the equipment as well. Friendly, personable employee who knows his stuff and is able to guide you in the direction that best suits your ideas for your brewing. From buckets to bottles to kegs, to pressurized containers, plus all the associated supplies for final bottling, this store has it all!

Fantastic service, fair pricing, ands a great selection of grains, ingredients, and hardware for the experienced and new brewer alike. Homebrewing meetings on the third friday of the month are a must go. And with their expansion soon to happen, expect more inventory and a tap room to boot.
