Price was good with 1 year 12,000 mile warranty. Got it done in a week. Communication could be better but Id recommend them for your car repair needs.

Blew the transmission on my 1997 Nissan Quest. Took it to A&M Transmission Specialists.Mike was awesome. He gave me the best price he could get,and worked with me on payment. Long story short I took my 2001 F-150 in to Mike and his guys after an issue with my Transmission and some repairs to the drive shaft I attempted to do on my own. I didnt bother with transmission repairs on my own as I knew that was out of my league. Anyhow, I gave Mike and his team a letter in my truck of everything that I had done and what not. Shortly after my truck was towed in, he had a diagnosis for me on the Transmission.Worked with me on the price, warranty and such. Even told me of a couple of items that needed to be addressed right away. I will be taking the truck back to him for other repairs in the future. Very pleased, professional and good guy!Highly recommend this local shop, they dont just do Transmissions, they do it all for the most part. Excellent service. Great communication and tells you exactly what you need. A-1 local small business that is definitely well run. Mike really knows his trade and his customers. They do more work other than transmissions, like engines and other major jobs that will cost you more somewhere else and wont give the attention to detail that A&M does.

So I called around to several shops and looked at their reviews. This place was a little more pricey than some of the others as I needed a new transmission for my ford 2004 f-150 (no reverse). Let me tell you why I picked this place. First, I emailed them on their website as it was already after business hours. I got a call back from Mike within minutes. I explained my problem and that I needed a fast turn-around (48 hours). He sent a tow truck to pick it up (no one else offered that or 48 hour turn-around. Also, he explained how they beef up the transmission a bit from stock. My regular mechanic said that was really good. So I had the work done here. It was on time and I have a loud noise coming from the engine I wanted to ask him about, but he mentioned it first, bad fan clutch. Sure enough my own mechanic replaced it and it fixed that problem too! I also like that they have an 18 month or 18,000 warranty on the transmission. Everyone else was offering 6 months or 1 year or 12,000 mile warranty. These guys are friendly and knowledgeable. My own mechanic even asked me to pass on the info so he could recommend them as he didnt know of a good transmission place around here. I highly recommend them. Dont pick the cheapest place you can find when doing the transmission, I made that mistake with my suburban and it broke down within 1 year and the replacement then broke down again within 1 year. Go to these guys if you want good service with no hassles.

I am 100% satisfied with Mike and his mechanics. He very quickly diagnosed the problems with my car and communicated the issues and alternatives very well. He gave me a fair price for the work performed and the quality of the work is top notch. I have been going to A&M Transmission for all my car needs. Mike and his crew have worked on my 2007 Tahoe as well as my Classic 1981 Corvette. Mike explains what your vehicle will need and gives you a fair price to do the work in a timely fashion. He keeps you informed on your repairs and is a straight shooter. Good quality honest work, mike was upfront about all the work and prices. He did really good work on the transmission for my 05 530i bmw. I didnt get any surprises with the price, or work that he did. To top it all off my car was finished within the timeline he gave me. My cars still driving like a champ.

Mike and his technician just replaced the clutch on my 05 GTO and it came out perfect. Great customer service, great communication, fair prices. Mike also looks for related items that will save money in the future. He replaced the rear main seal, a inexpensive part that costs a lot to replace because the transmission has to come out. Its things like this that mean a lot to me, not many shops look out for things like this. I will be taking my cars to Mike from now on. Thanks Mike.

Excellent service!!! Mike Towed my 2005 Ford Explorer in for transmission repair on a Wednesday afternoon and by Friday afternoon it was ready for pick up. The transmission is running like new again. Brought my truck to Mike at A&M after another shop performed a transmission swap. Other shop couldnt get it to shift right among other things. Mike went above and beyond to repair the shotty work the other shop did. Not only did he fix it right, he did the work super fast.

Replaced shifter cable for fair and reasonable price, and was pretty fast too. Works perfect now. went back 4 months later and got new brakes all around and new oil pan gasket and rear main seal. done in 1.5 days, and at about half the cost of the dealer. great! had a minor issue 2 days later and Mike met me as i pulled in and corrected it in 5 minutes. Great guy, ill be back with the wifes truck soon.

Mike from A&M transformed my 1986 Toyota Corolla. He removed my 150hp engine and put in a 350hp Sr20det. There was a lot of custom work to get this done but he did it! I took my pick up truck in for a rebuilt and the service I received was nice and friendly. Yet it took four visits and three weeks to get the job done. First visit after 3 days the truck was ready and the same issue was there and now with a trans leak. 2nd visit after almost two weeks waiting, it seemed it was fine at first but after driving it for awhile the issue came back and the leak was still present. 3rd visit instead of getting it rebuilt, the tranny was replaced. It took a little over a day. I had to come back again for a 4th time in order to fix the leak since I had to wait for the part to get in. I noticed my truck was dirty around the truck and the bed of my truck was used because it was dirty in the bed as well of the truck and along with a scratch on the body. If thats not enough, the owner Mike would get upset when I start questioning about the services lately. It made me upset since I had to keep coming back for the same issue. During this all, Mike maintain in trying to please and satisfy me till the end, yet I walked out dissapointed then upset.

Mike and his team fixed my car and its been running smooth ever since. Definitely recommend to anyone!
