I have been using Rapid Estate Liquidators and Auction Gallery for a few years now. It is a great place to buy and sell items. I found that EVERYONE there to be very personable, knowledgeable, and professional, at what they do. I get my questions answered promptly. I like the way the descriptions of the items are honest and thorough. The items in the auction are a nice variety for all the buyers. The site is easy to navigate and the process is very simple to understand. I will continue to use Rapid Estate Liquidators and Auction Gallery because it is simply the best I have found.
Ive been consigning stuff with rapid estate Liquidators since the first day they opened Mary is a great person and her staff is greatly appreciated by me for their research and the value of the items consigned and for the consistency and getting the best value for all the items sold by them for me I dont think theres a better online auction company around and believe me Ive been around a lot of them her and her staff do their best to get the best quality price that you can possibly get for it and her Consignment raids or more than fair so in my opinion if you got stuff to sell and you want to make some money this is the place to do it have a blessed day
Good experience, in all aspects, solving everything on time. Very professional
Just received an item i won an auction on. i was devasted to see it was total junk. it came BROKEN!! They killed me on the shipping costs too. the item came broken and it was chipped all around. i called them but they said all sales final. i guess as they say beware of the pictures. wont work with them again. i should have read the bad reviews here. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
I purchased a few items when she had her thrift store in College Park. I was happy with the price and quality of both. I went to an auction she had across the street as well. There were some antique cars and beautiful items. Almost nothing was sold because she had a reserve price on most items. I am not familiar with estate auctions, however i thought the purpose was to sell everything. I now go to estate sales instead. This is at the home and they typically have better quality items.
I cannot thank Mary Dees and her team, especially Richie and Keith, for all their hard work and the excellent job they performed. I represent a client whos home was very full and had fallen into disrepair. The home needed to be cleaned out and marketed for sale and/or auction. This seemed like an insurmountable task requiring more hands and time than I had available. Mary and her team of experts came in with 4 dumpsters, 3 shred bins, clothing donation containers and a group of people to help. They respected our requests, and we were able to complete this huge task within days. The home was auctioned off and a fair deal was agreed upon by all parties. Thank you to Mary and the entire team at Rapid Estate Liquidators and Choice Pointe Realty for making this daunting task achievable!
I went to an auction at the previous location. Actually 2 locations ago. They had advertised some vehicles and 2 good looking firearms. When I arrived I was told that the items I was interested in had minimum prices. It was more like a used car lot than an auction. It was frustrating. Hardly anything actually sold. I recently found some items online being sold by this company. Same story again most of the items in the auction did not sell. I am not sure why anyone would have an auction that does not sell things. I have seen enough. I will stick to estate sales.
Mary D is great at what she does and has the most courteous crew. i had another company conduct three estate auctions at my house with no good results. Mary changed all that. she came in and pretty much took over the estate. a year later, i am still receiving checks from her for the items that were sold recently.i would highly recommend her services.
I have driven past this store a few times and decided to take a look. Twice now I have found the doors locked with nobody around during normal business hours. I see some interesting pieces inside, as well as household goods like blenders and fans. I will probably try to make an appointment next time.
My husband and I had a resale store and was on an extremely tight time constraint. Along came Mary to save the day!! All went very smooth as our store was emptied in 1 day.Mary is a very professional lady, and by the way a heck of a nice gal!! We highly recommend Rapid Estate for your liguidat ion needs.Sue and Randy Jacobs
Rescued me from my excess possessions ! Mary is amazingly wonderful, professional, and caring. Randy, who came with his truck to remove all my stuff, was friendly, professional, and managed to pack everything into the truck with lightening speed. Incredible people, and a totally awesome company.
I bid & won a Pelikan pencil at an online auction by Rapid Estate Auction Gallery, aka Mary Dees the Owner, aka Rapid Estate Liquidators. I paid for the pencil in full (including the very expensive Buyers Premium & an obscure fee that LiveAuctioneers charges their auctioneers called the processing fee but which this auctioneer decided to pass this processing fee to their customers, which has never happened before to me). Mary Dees offered to ship the little pencil & its little box to me in NYC, NY from Orlando, FL, USPS flat-rate priority mail for a fee of $27, which is ridiculously exorbitant but, since I just wanted the pencil, I agreed.Instead, a few days later, it turns out Mary never sent the pencil, but she did remember to send me an invoice of over $30 for the shipping, adding 2 processing fees and a couple dollars more than the $27 that she had agreed upon. When I questioned her about the extra charges, Mary then refused to send me my item & told me to go find another shipper. When I found a UPS shipper, UPS called Mary numerous times for 2 days straight. Mary never answered his phone calls & never returned any of his calls. When I sent Mary email to call the UPS guy so that he could pick-up my item at her store for shipping to me, she completely ignored my emails and instead said that I was threatening her, which I was not. Then she demanded that I stop contacting her, meaning she was going to hold my auction item hostage and charge me even more money for storage.Meanwhile, Mary also tried to put a ban on me with LiveAuctioneers, claiming that I or my shipper never picked up my item. Of course my shipper never picked up my item, esp since Mary refused to call him back or even answer his phone calls to schedule a pick up!This is how Mary Dees, Owner of Rapid Estate Auction Gallery/Liquidators in Orlando, FL makes her money, by OVERCHARGING HER CUSTOMERS FOR SHIPPING and by making FALSE ACCUSATIONS and by NOT ANSWERING HER PHONE CALLS FOR PICKUP SO THAT SHE CAN HOLD OTHER PEOPLES ITEMS HOSTAGE & CLAIM STORAGE FEES FOR THEIR ITEMS.MARY DEES IS AN UNSCRUPULOUS PENNY-PINCHING CHEAT & LIAR. About 99% of her auction items did not sell during her last auction. You can see that most of the items are listed as LOT PASSED. That means that she would bid against the bidders to keep pushing the auction prices up, so much overvalued that the real bidders would stop bidding, but then of course she wouldnt have any real customers to buy the items. Thats why she cant sell most of her items.DONT GO TO MARY DEES aka RAPID ESTATE AUCTION/GALLERY/LIQUIDATORS!!! If you want her to sell your items, she will NOT SELL them because shes a FAKE BIDDER. If you want to BUY from her auction, DONT, bc youll just end up spending an arm and a leg from her overcharged shipping services which are BOGUS anyway and her processing fees, which are the fees that LiveAuctioneers passes onto her but then she passed onto you, or shell hold your items HOSTAGE & rake up STORAGE CHARGES for your items. Btw, thats called STEALING, Mary Dees.
I went to rapid estate and it was closed, the doors locked and lights out in the afternoon, we determined that this is a warehouse in a storefront location, its next to the subway. We were looking to furnish our new vacation house. We discovered that it was an auction across the way so we came back for the auction and it was not nice, everything had a minimum price that was set way above any online prices that we found. Needless to say with the minimums set that way we did not buy anything and not much sold. The place felt dismal and the lady running things was not pleasant. We thought we were being punked, looked around for Ashton Kutcher, or maybe Suzanne Somers and candid camera, nope, it was real.
I tried to stop at this place several times, there is just no one there to operate it, peeking in it is just used housewares, nothing to get excited about at all. It is a shame to waste this storefront on a business that is not open and not attracting traffic to mutually support the other businesses. Looks like a thrift store disguised as a boutique.
Mary is an asset to Orlando! Dont hesitate to give her a call, we enjoyed a quick turnaround and a fair offer.
If you want to purchase overpriced junk from someone who preaches integrity but lacks it you will be going to the right spot.
