I love Honda Vehicles. Nothing against them. However prices are insanely high right now just to get into a newer Honda. Because of that I decided to just stick with my current Honda. If you want more people driving Honda I would suggest lowering those prices.

Pretty frustrated that my tires were rotated but air pressure was not fixed. My tire pressure warning light was on. That is one of the things you say will be checked with the advantage care oil change. Other than that it was fine.

Honestly I felt very well attended to. McKay was the one who took care of me and got my car in and handled what needed to be handled. He was very professional and attentive and gave me the best pricing he could.I wish the service could have been quicker, but they were extremely busy and I can understand and empathize why it took so long.Honestly have no gripes other than the time. So I found the truck I’ve wanted to get for some time now at this dealership in Orem, Utah via the internet. It was the first time I’ve ever made a purchase like this without first test driving or seeing the vehicle in person (trusting complete strangers). I was very nervous about it but, after having all my requests for video and additional photos fulfilled, I went ahead with the purchase. Surprisingly, the truck (which I had shipped to my home 1563 miles away) arrived 2 days later and was in pretty good shape. While there is a long list of things it needs to be complete, I am quite satisfied with the service of the sales people who helped me with my purchase.

I needed to get my car keys replaced and called my total care warranty last week. They told me to make an appointment with Ken Garff Honda and that all they needed to do was call them when I arrived and they would pay them with a credit card. It took 1 week to even get in and once I did, the Ken Garf employee told me that Total Care would not honor it and to go to Salt Lake to Stockton Malone. He continues to talk my ear off about how he use to work for Larry H Miller and he was right and wouldn’t let me get a word in edge wise. So I parked my car and called total care and they said they would honor it. So I went back and he fought me again saying they wouldn’t honor it when I literally just got off the phone with total care saying they would. So we got the manager involved and called total care and they HONORED it. I wanted to clean out the guys ears because he for sure in fact wasn’t listening. Then he goes on to tell me that they can only make me one key when I needed two. But then when I get in my car…..there was two keys. So mistake on them and I just got two keys for the price of one. Change your motto if you aren’t actually going to listen.

We are new to Utah. Weve always had our car serviced at the honda dealers before because we trust the service dept. We are mostly pleased with the dealership here. There was just a minor issue with our oil change due to the oil residue left thar caused an oil leak spot in our garage.

I had a wonderful experience buying a used car from this dealership. Desert was very helpful and knowledgeable about finding the right car for us. The car was everything we were looking for and right in our budget. Mike was also very helpful with answering and solving any issues we had. My daughters car was in for recall work. We brought the car in a day early so we could leave it overnight. They jumped on it and did the work that same day then paid for a Lyft for me to come pick it up! No pressure to do any extra work. Friendly when I got there. Overall experience was great

Absolutely the most horrible experience with this dealership. Not only with its sales rep but it’s management department due to the lack of communication and follow ups. We drove over 300 miles to purchase a vehicle from them just to find out it had a stop-sale recall in the middle of the contract signing. This recall could’ve been fixed if they would’ve checked a week prior and before we scheduled our drive there. We ended up signing the contract and agreed to pick up the vehicle once it was done being fixed. I had to call almost every day in order to get updates because the sales rep (Rick) didn’t see as giving us update as an important thing to do for its customers. We involved the management (Chris) on the situation and it seemed promising at first until follow ups became a low priority to him. This lasted for over 2.5 weeks until we just got tired of their unprofessionalism and canceled the contract. Before you buy from them and waste your time make sure to have them check all their vehicles before setting anything up. I spent over $400 gas, hotel, food for absolutely nothing. Thanks Ken Garff for the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership.

Turns out Ken Garff isnt great at listening. My experience buying my car and having it financed through Honda financial services was good. The trouble came after I paid off the car. I paid off the car early and Honda notified me that I could be entitled to a refund of gap insurance and that I needed to contact the dealer. I sent Ken Garff Honda of Orem a message via the messaging system on their website. Several weeks went by with no response. I called Ken Garff Honda of Orem and was directed to the financial office. My call went to voicemail and I left a message. After a week of getting no call back I tried again. After another week of no response, my husband called and left a message. After another week of no response, my husband called and told the receptionist we had not received a response from the financial department after multiple messages and she took my husbands information and asked the financial department to call us. We received a call a few hours later and the man in the financial department asked us to email him the notification letter we had received from Honda and he would then send us a form to fill out to receive the refund. My husband sent the email with the letter immediately. We received no response despite sending multiple follow-up emails. After several more weeks, my husband went to the dealership in person and talked to the same man he had spoken to over the phone. The man acknowledged that he had spoken with my husband before and received his email but did not offer any apology or explanation for the lack of response. My husband was then able to fill out the form in a few minutes and we received our refund several weeks later. Im happy we received our refund eventually but the delay was frankly ridiculous and actually resulted in our refund being less than it would have been. It seems pretty ironic that a company whose slogan is We hear you cant even be bothered to answer a voicemail or an email. Very annoying and disappointing.

I really hate car shopping, so I sent my husband and son to start by looking at different cars. They came back with preference for Honda. I already drove a CRV so that made sense. I preferred the Passport. We met with Rick Dawson and he was more than willing to fit my needs. It was an easy and pleasing experience. He covered the features well and guided us as we went along. He was thorough and very helpful.

I made an appointment to bring my car back to fix a repair that had been repaired the week prior, but that started up again two days later. At the appointment, I was asked if I was okay leaving the car overnight (our family van), because they probably wouldnt have a chance to look at it that day. Why did I make an appointment, then? I cant leave our family car over night so they can look at it the next day... very frustrating trip.

Just moved to Utah and needed my 2019 Civic serviced for A17 code at 22750 miles (multi-point inspection, oil change, tire rotation). Was very pleased to see the value added Advantage Care special for 3 oil changes, tire rotations and car washes for Quick Quack or Wiggy Wash! Heck yeah!The service rep Jer Goldsmith greeted me with a smile, was very kind and courteous and patient with my questions...even showed me the dirty air filters that should be replaced as part of the inspection (but still gave me the choice).I will definitely be returning to this place for my service needs.

Great experience. I felt like my budget was adhered to the whole time and nothing remotely close to being over it was ever pushed on us. Josh did an excellent drop, not only taking care of us in getting us the vehicle we wanted but even running around with our 2 year (who had a blast) and playing hide and seek to make sure he want losing his mind. It felt like a comforting and welcoming place and I would 10/10 buy my next vehicle from here. Ken Garff is usually alright, however it wasnt a great experience this last visit. I dropped off my car for a routine oil change... Usually theyre supposed to send a video of the process with updates and information on the car inspection. Never received that this visit.When I picked up the car, my steering wheel had gunk on it and was super sticky. On my drive home, the tire pressure light came on. When I checked, my tires were at 39psi, when the recommended is at 32 psi for front and 30psi for back tires. My caps for the tire gauges on my tires were missing as well, 2 of the 4 have disappeared since this oil change. The quality of service have decreased a lot this time around, even the service staff wasnt super friendly.

Customer service is really bad, everytime i bring my car here something always goes wrong, their service on the vehicle is horrible. Seems like i always have to bring my vehicle back to get it REFIXED and the worst part they seemed annoyed about it 😂 like if it was my fault. The technicians leave countless mistakes on my car as in, leaving my tire pressure sensor on, forgetting to close my tramission dipstick hole open and forgetting to rotate my tires, this place is a joke.

Professional reception and they provided a ride to get to my workplace. Dropped off my car at 8:30 am. So far - great!I assumed they would call back in the morning to let me know of costs and approval to do more service.To make a long story short no calls. At 1:00 I decided to give them a call - automated answering system. 5 minutes before I could even leave a message. No one would answer my calls or even pick up the phone all afternoon - despite repeated requests for them to return a call. At 3:30 I finally talked to a live person (what a joke that they advertise We hear you). Terrible at communicating. Even if they were overbooked they could have had the courtesy to share with me the status of my car and what was happening at the shop. Overcharged me when I came to pay - but they corrected it after I asked for an explanation. The fellow helping me kept yawning. Made me feel like they couldn’t wait to have me out the door.Wish I had another choice for Honda service. My next car will be a Toyota just so I can have a better option for service on my vehicle.

Reception desk was a great experience, not happy with service team. Went in to get a warranty taken care of with a perfectly fine car, left being told unless I spend $2,300 I would not get AC. How can a cars AC go out overnight while in the shop? If I had known I would lose AC and have to pay $2,300 for bringing my car in for a free warranty, why would I do it?

The video from the tech was excellent and such a nice way to show service and what needed on car. My only input would be that it took 2 weeks to get an appointment and appointment was at 7:45 am but car didnt get looked at until around 2 pm. I did get my car back the same day with issue resolved.

The service team at Ken Garff Honda of Orem are awesome! After being turned away at two other dealerships for an Advantage Care oil change (because they were apparently too busy, although there wasn’t a line but claimed they only do appointments now) I contacted Ken Garff Honda of Orem and they let me know they would be happy to perform the service. Ironically they were busier than the other dealership I had just come from yet they were happy to earn my business. The waiting area was clean and they also provided drinks and snacks while I waited (there were tables to work from even). I’ll definitely be going back for additional service when the time comes. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and super helpful.

Lyle my sales rep was great. He knew all about the CR-V and educated me on the technology during the test drive and after I bought the car. I asked him to drive me around in the XL and show me how the technology works and he did. I had a great time. The financing was quick and pretty painless; of course, I paid cash. But still. If I have a criticism it would that buying a car takes so much time. But I think we were in and out in about two and a half hours. Great experience, great sales rep, great car. Love my car.

They gave me a free car wash. When we went to pick up our car, the car seat cover was almost pulled off the seat. The tire was not mounted yet but was still in the trunk and the donut was on the wheel. We waited in comfortable chairs while they put the tire on. Everyone was very nice.

Calling in to dealership was difficult. Three calls and almost an hour, only to be put on hold twice. Unable to make an appointment until sometime in August, so brought my Accord in on Thursday hoping that service on my car could be completed Friday. Upon arrival, waited a few minutes and my car was inspected and service order written up and I was on my way. Scott was personable and efficient. Excellent experience. Last Saturday (Sept 25) I scheduled an appointment (12:15) to bring in my daughters Honda Fit for a valve adjustment. (3 hour job) By 4:00pm no one had reached out so I called and was told they were 5 cars behind. Since my daughter needed her car for work over the weekend we went and picked it up and said wed reschedule. Scheduled it for 9am on Thurs the 30th. Brought it in at 8AM. Received a video around 2pm of another service it needed (fuel injectors - which we would decline because its $2000 and I can do it myself for $700) Nobody called or reached out. So at 4pm I started calling service to see if the car was finished. Not a single solitary person at that dealership would pick up a phone. I tried for 2 hours to reach SOMEONE. Nothing. Sent my daughter to pick it up and they told her they hadnt started on it. Asked her if she wanted the injectors replaced - she said no. Friday morning (late) the service agent calls to see if we want the injectors replaced. (seeing a pattern here?) I said no and she said they would get the valve adjustment done. Which I realized hadnt even been started yet. At 4pm on Friday they notified me the job was complete. We were on our way to a wedding and wouldnt be able to pick up the car until Saturday morning. Thats 2 and half days total to complete a 3 hour valve adjustment job. Ken Garffs motto is We Hear You. I think its time for hearing aids.

Bought a pre-owned vehicle. Went in with a set budget and trade-in vehicle. Charlie made it happen, even though we didnt think it would be possible. The process was super easy. He was very patient with me in all my question, but I got honest and straight forward answers instead of some of the run around I experienced with salesmen at other dealerships. As a person who wanted to stick to a strict budget, I felt I got a fair deal and wasn’t pressured into all the extra accessories and add ons that other dealerships wanted to force on me. I made an appointment for this morning to have my ignition switch replaced due to a recall on my Honda Pilot. I made the appointment 2 weeks ago. I made it for a time when it was convenient for me to have it done. The reception lady told me it would take a half an hour. So I agreed to have it done. I showed up early for my appointment and the service lady told me that they would need my car for half a day to a full day. I was floored. I said I made an appointment. They knew I was coming in. She told me that there was 4 other cars before me. But I made an appointment. They knew I was coming in. When I make an appointment with my doctor they know I am coming in and I get in and out in an hour. When I get my tires changed, I make an appointment. I get in and out in an hour. Apparently Honda doesnt abide by that same principle. So I have decided to give up on having the dealer work on my car and go to my local mom and pop shop. The mom and pop shop knows me and my car and care about me more than the dealer. My suggestion is to find a mom and pop shop and build a relationship with them. The dealer doesnt have time for you schedule.

I was really disappointed this morning after driving north 25 minutes for just an oil change to learn it would be a3 hour wait. Now need an appointment for an oil change. Really? They said they were busy. I was the only car there and it wasnt near as busy as it was in the past. When you make cut backs its hard to provide quality service. Signs for quick service need to be taken down. I have been going to Honda for 20 plus years. This is more of a warning to anyone else who tries to do an oil change without an appointment. Crazy! I have found another place for oil changes. Cheaper too. Friendly people who dont act like you are in their way.

The service we received was okay. We had a problem when nobody would answer the phone in the service department after me calling multiple times about our car. When scheduling the service appointment I also asked for a tech to call me beforehand but that didnt happen and the correct parts werent ordered in time for our scheduled appointment so we had to come back again for the fix. This wouldnt normally be a big deal but we live 40 minutes away and both work so it was pretty inconvenient to have to come back. Our vehicle is also brand new and shouldnt have had an issue to be fixed in the first place.

Fantastic experience. I had just driven across country from Philadelphia to Utah for a job. I noticed some weird sounds and wanted to get my car checked up on. Brandi Obershaw (My point of contact when I came in to get service) was very professional and a delight to deal with. Isaac was my technician and gave me a breakdown on what my issue was with the car and fixed it. I even got a video explaining it all. Incredible. This is by far the best experience Ive ever had taking my car in for service. They have earned my business and I will not go anywhere else as long as I am in Utah. I went in and had my oil change today with the advantage care everything was good until I went out to the car and noticed the leather on my gear shift had been ripped! Like how does that even happen? I didn’t even get it in to drive away I notified the care specialist immediately and she looked at me and said well what do you want me to do about it? I’m like one of your guys did that. She rolled her eyes and went to get a Macanic he looked at it and said there’s nothing we can do call Hyundai. I told her she needed to see what we could do to fix this with an eye roll and said her manger was in a meeting and would call me in a little while. It’s 6:32 and no follow up phone call! I’m beyond frustrated with this whole issue. We have purchased many cars from you and bring them in for service I’m not regretting my choices.

Update: I was in contact with the general manager through email. He was going to be out of town so I was told Jason would be in contact with me. After a few days of phone tag I was able to talk with Jason on the phone. We will be getting a refund for the one time bolt due to the stripping and will be getting the pan replaced with no charge to us due to their mistake. I was notified it will be 3-4 hours to work on and due to only having one vehicle right now they will be loaning a car out for me to use while my vehicle is being worked on. I highly recommend speaking to Jason he will take care of you!We have been consistently getting our oil changed at Honda for about a year now. Today we had the worst experience getting our oil changed. We were told that it would be an hour wait and we waited nearly two hours. The guy came in and told us that the plug on the pan had been stripped and we had to get a temporary plug but would have to get a new pan next time. I wasnt told the price of the temporary plug and he said he would get a price but then at check out he gave the total. To make things worse we got a new oil pan a year ago! I shouldnt have to get it replaced again this soon! The customer service was TERRIBLE!!! If this all gets made right I will update the review.

This doesn’t necessarily apply to every employee obviously, but the maintenance department has caused more problems than they have solved.On two occasions they wrenched the oil filter on so hard that it was impossible to remove myself later (I usually do my own oil changes).After the first time, I asked the manager several times to ensure that it was only hand tightened as is recommended, and he promised to make a note of it to the technician, but they cranked it on the same as before. I bought an oil filter socket to remove it, but the dealership uses filters that are completely smooth, making the socket useless.There are simply better mechanics out there, especially for something as simple as an oil change.Note: edited for spelling errors.

I was VERY disappointed with the service I received for my Honda Pilot. I had made an early morning appointment (7:45 am) to have an error fixed and have a new key programmed. They told me that it would only be a half a day fix. I took my car over the night before, knowing that my car would be the first of the day, only to receive a phone call from Brandy at 2:00 pm telling me that they would need to keep my car for another day because they had a dozen other cars ahead of mine. Are you kidding me? How could there be a dozen ahead of me when my appointment was the first one of the day? When I expressed my frustration, I was treated rudely and told that it wasnt their fault that the technicians didnt come in today. I confirmed with Brandy what services were being done and when she mentioned the price, it was completely different than what I was originally quoted. I asked if that could be adjusted and she said they could not adjust the technician fee. Even for all the trouble to keep my car? She briefly talked with her manager and magically they decide to move my car ahead and have it done by 5:00.I will definitely be choosing a different service location for my future repairs. I was not at all impressed with Honda of Orem.

We came for our regular oil change and tire rotation and we ordered another 2 services on top of that. They asked us to leave the car overnight and the next day they would contact us to let us know when the car was finished. Two days later we contacted them with several calls and messages with no calls returned, finally getting an answer so the receptionist could tell us what was going on and they said that the car was ready and we could come get it. When we went to pick it up, we tested the things we’d asked to be done and it turned out they had just done the oil and tire rotation. They asked us to leave it another day but as we were going out of town the next morning and needed our car, we had to reschedule for another day to get the other services. They charged us for all of the services with only completing half of them and telling us they were all done.

I went in for a recall on my accord about a week ago. The service ended up taking less time than they said it would, and I got to relax in their nice waiting room. They have drinks and snacks available and the wifi was strong enough for me to do work on my laptop. Nice staff and clean facility!

1 star is too generous a review for zero zero customer service there trying to get help. I have called 4 times this month, spent 30 minutes letting the phone ring during business hours after the secretary transfers me to the place I need or vehicle repairs. Finally have left 3 voice mails and well get back to you. No one EVER answers the calls, no one ever calls back. Its horrible. I have never experienced such poor service at a car dealership, Im literally trying to give you money to fix something that shouldnt be this difficult going on one month now. Im frustrated to the extreme by this point. Willing to drive 30 miles to find a better dealership who actually wants to talk to their customers or will answer a phone. Dont bother.

If you have a Honda that needs work, take it to these guys. Various account managers helped us on multiple occasions get our Honda Pilot running right. I especially loved how they worked with our warranty company to get as much of the needed work covered, as was possible. 👏🏽

On our last visit we needed to have our battery replaced. They went out of their way to look it up as they have replaced it before but we couldnt find record of it. They finally located it after doing some searching and we were taken care of. Great staff, fair pricing.

They were quick and efficient with my oil change once they got started, despite being 1-2 weeks out on appointments (which you have to have). They also have a nice waiting area with snacks, a soda machine, and power/usb outlets. I bought the AdvantageCare and was supposed to get a car wash voucher with it which they forgot to give me but I live too far away to drive back for it. They also recommended that I get my brake fluid flushed and quoted me $150, which I then went to my regular mechanic and he did it for $99 so be sure to get a second opinion on suggested services. Overall fine for routine maintenance but it wasn’t anything special otherwise.

I did have to wait for at least an hour; whereas in the past it has been less than 30 minutes. It would of been nice if someone came and told us they were running behind just so we are aware. I asked the guy that was ahead of me how long he had been waiting and he said 2 hours. He was just getting an oil change like me. I told him he should go check and see what is going on.

We stopped in on our way from Boise to Santa Fe on because of a warning message and braking system light. The service technician we spoke to was very knowledgeable about the cause and went out to our car and showed us where and how the problem occurred. Who knew a bug on the front camera affected the cruise control thereby resulting in the warnings.. He rubbed the bug residue from the camera and gave us a voucher for a car wash. Ken Garff Honda of Orem, your employee rocks. I am sorry I didn’t get his name.

I was greeted right away by the service guy Scott. I had an appointment. Scott checked what my CR-V needed and actually told me that something I thought was needed was not. He advised me about future maintenance needs but didn’t try to up-sell me. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes after checks, oil change, and tire rotation.

I went to get some repairs done for my family van here twice. Joe S. did an outstanding job making sure it was done in good timing and always communicated with me to make sure I was updated on what needed to be done. The vehicle runs smoothly and they send you a video via text of your diagnosis so you can see what they found. Friendly staff and professional. You even get a complementary carwash which I loved. Thank you Joe for working with my warranty as well. You guys have my continued business!
