I run a business and one of my trucks went down and I brought it over to these guys they had it working in 2 hours and gave me a great deal on it. Honest and smart guys work here.

I had a great experience here.Theyre flexible with emission retests. I came with a coupon for emissions and where some places do free retest for 2 weeks, they didnt have that time limit. After diagnosing the cause of my check engine light (which meant the van didnt pass emissions) I took it to a Chrysler service center for recalls and see if the problem was under warranty still. The other place quoted me on the repair needed, which the labor I was quoted at Cleggs was cheaper and going with Cleggs the part was cheaper too.It took a few visits since my check engine light kept coming back on, but they made the effort to figure out the problem and get it done right at no extra cost to me. They were super helpful and friendly. Needless to say, I ended up needing more than 2 weeks to get things fixed, then enough driving for the retest so I was glad I chose here. Even though my plates expired last month, they helped me with getting the temporary permit and paying my yearly fees on the spot and didnt charge extra for that like On The Spot Renewal can at some places.I highly recommend them!

NEVER BRING YOUR CAR TO CLEGGS.I took my car in to get the main window switch replaced. They replaced it and then my car alarm started going off at random times through out the day and night. I took it back and they replaced the window switch again saying that could be the problem. It was not my car alarm kept going off.I took it back in and they said they would give it to their guy and it would be ready for pickup in the morning. I went in to pick up my car and they told me that it wasnt ready and that they would call me if it was done even though they said it would be done the day before.They finally found out that it was my hood clamp that was the issue and that it wasnt their fault.Over all they were terrible at communicating with me what was going on with my car and even if it was fixed.

Everyone I dealt with over there was very friendly and easy to work with, however, when I took my car in for a simple oil change and check, I was billed more than $100. The vehicle needs 4.4qts of synthetic (which at other places gets rounded up to 5qts). Here, I was charged for 6qts as well as $54 in labor for 30 minutes worth of work.I brought my car here out of convenience since this was closer, but for reference, last time, I took my car to Meineke and was billed $81.43 total for all of the following services: Oil + Filter Change, Tire Rotation, 35 point inspection (free of charge), and replacing my wiper blades.Again, the owner and employees at Cleggs were very friendly, but theres no way I can justify the cost to value here next time. Ill be going back to Meineke in Provo... its worth the extra 10 min drive for me.

Took my truck here to have the steering rack checked out. I had already suspected steering rack bushings or inner tie rods. Came back and confirmed it was the bushings. He told me that they dont make replacement bushing but he made up a way to fix it by repurposing A-arm bushings. Anyone with an internet connection knows there are hundreds of kits for replacement bushings. Tried to show him one of the bushing kits to see if he could fit them if I brought them in. He said those must be a new thing and acted like he didnt believe me. Not sure what kind of repair he did on those other trucks. But the conversation was enough to make me never bring my truck back.

These guys have really helped me out several times. Theyre great about the vehicles. They really know their stuff. Sometimes theyre price gets a little high, but I know that these guys will always take care of me. In the end, its more that vehicles are expensive to repair these days. I really like these guys, and totally trusting with my vehicles.

So honest! My car was having problems so we took it in to be looked at. They told me exactly what was wrong and gave prices for what it would cost to fix. Didn’t charge us for taking it in to get it looked at. You don’t find that nowadays! I will definitely be coming back to them for service.

This was my first time getting car work done at Cleggs, and they were awesome. I kinda screwed myself by buying the wrong aftermarket struts, and they were nothing but helpful, they found me the proper struts and had the whole car done on the same day. A repair that I quoted at les Schwab for over $1500 was just a but over $700 here. If youre a struggling student around orem, clegg is the only place you should go, if I could give 6 stars I would!

They always make time when have to have it done now! They are at times very busy and there can be a back up when waiting. They do quality work. They work on my old cars (Nissan, Cadillac, Honda) and newer cars for maintenance ( Mercedes GL450, BMW 550i). I trust their work and estimates. Get it done right for less with factory or aftermarket parts. If you dont tell them, they will use factory parts as they they know they work right.

They are very attentive and always try to get you the lowest price possible. The owner and employees are all friendly and lovely to work with.

Mechanic Dave South of Cleggs was recommended to me by a former manager of a major Salt Lake Dealership. He said to never use a dealership if you are worried about costs. I have had my Volvo worked on 3 times and am more than extremely satisfied. Both Dave and the owner have treated me awesomely. Shocks and struts were done at 40% less than the Salt Lake Dealer had quoted me. I love their work and the way I have been treated. Need I say more?

Cleggs Car Care did a great job and for less money. I had gone to another place and they wanted a lot more to fix my car. Cleggs worked me in, diagnosed the problem correctly, and fixed it the right way in a timely fashion. They are honest and dependable. You cant ask for more.

I have never felt like they have over charged me or tried to replace something that didnt need replacing. Does good work, not very nice people. I had never been and went in around 5:20 and asked about an emissions check and got massively chewed out because “the last emissions are at 5. So I can’t help you, you need to leave and come back another time.” I will not be coming back.

Good people, but the mechanics who did the work on my truck did a poor job. I Had the motor rebuilt, and when they finally got the truck finished a month and a half later, I popped the hood to take a look and saw a lot of missing bolts, no dipstick, and several un-attached parts. Seemed very half-effort from the outside and made me wonder if the internals had been put together right. After several more trips back including one break-down and having to have it towed back to them(they were kind enough to pay for the tow truck), i finally had a smooth-running truck, but a very large headache from it and many hours lost. However, Kyle bent over backwards to make things right in the end which i am very grateful for.

I towed a car here for a friend just the other day. I left it in the row of cars right in front of their bays. In the morning, she called and asked if they could check out the car to see what was wrong. They told her that hey couldn’t find her car. I have no idea how they were not able to see the car considering it was literally right in front of the shop. The girl walked a mile to get to the shop to find her car right where I left it, right in front of their shop. They determined that all that was needed was a new battery. They wanted to charge her $160 for a new battery installed. I just got my truck’s battery replaced at Sam’s for $125 installed. Not sure if $160 is the going rate and Sam’s just beats the heck out of everybody else’s prices on batteries and installation, or if these guys were trying to rip her off. Either way, extremely unimpressed with these guys. I’ll be sure to warn anybody I know about going here.That being said, I have used them for mechanic work on my own vehicle since, and they seem to be fairly priced, maybe even on the low end for the area. But I’m still unimpressed with their professionalism. I’ve found a different mechanic I’ll be using from now on.

We brought our 1987 Airstream motorhome to the Orem location a couple times. Customer service was good and prices were fair. The fan clutch they replaced failed again one year later, but Cleggs reimbursed me when I brought the failed part to the office. Also, we discovered a fist-sized scrape and dent by the gas tank a few days after we left...that lot is too small and densely parked for a 30-ft long vintage vehicle, especially with an inexperienced driver. Customer vehicles were being moved from their very busy lot into the work bays by some student-aged gentlemen. Will not be returning.

Honest service, fair pricingConveniently located, but unfortunately not a lot of space to park cars they are servicing. I think a lot of the cars parked there are lost causes....cars that people drop off in hopes that one day one of the mechanics will be able to get them running again. A noble venture, but bad for business and makes the place look cluttered and unorganized....scares some people away.This was my second visit to this location, and I would have given them 5 stars, but they forgot to give me a mid-day follow-up call to inform me of the progress of my vehicle and they forgot to reset my SES light, so I had to drive back and get that done. Not a huge deal, but cleaning up the lot and follow throughs will get them 5 stars.

This is the worst place I have ever taken my car to. I cant believe I recomended them to other people. My car was no crank no start. I had it towed there. They had my car for over a week never called me. Checked in they said trying to figure it out. Eventually they said battery needed to be replaced. So I paid $250 basically for a new battery. Car ran maybe 50 miles and a few starts then same problem. Had it towed again. They had my car again for a few weeks...no call so I called and they said come get my car...didnt say they did anything) went to pick it up and wouldnt start. I told them probably needed relearn procedure for passlock. Said they would take care of it..few weeks no call. I called again and they were working onit. This time I brought them printed material on a very common problem and fix. I kindly asked if they would complete the fix cuz no car repairs allowed where I live. After 3 months a called they said someone spoke to me and I said I would pick up my car..no I didnt I had their number in my phone. No one EVER called ne. Somehow they got my car to start so I would come get it. I drove it home and tried to start it a few hours later and wouldnt start. My paper had notes that read can we bypass security and is there a relearn proceedure? This was a slap in the face because they did nothing at all and didnt even try to to do the relearn. The passlock bypass and relearn proceedure is pretty common in all later model gm cars...many many makes and models..so in the end because I wasnt bringing them $$$ they did absolutely nothing and then reminded me how lacking in knowledge everyone is there. Not to mention Im a girl and feel like I knew more about cars than they did. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!!!DONT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HAVE $$$ OR ELSE YOUR CAR WILL JUST SIT LIKE MINE. I have never had a bad experience here, and never will. Kyle, Steve and the mechanics do awesome work and always do a superb job. You may be able to find a cheaper shop, but youll also get a cheaper quality of service. Ive had my car repaired here multiple times in the past year, and honestly I wouldnt want to take it anywhere else.

The worst place to take your car, I tried to have them replace an evap filter for my car which took weeks because they insisted it was other things. They said they couldnt find the issue and never replaced the evap filter. Finally after I continued to ask for them to replace it they did and it was fixed. However when they returned the car to me fule lines were disconnected and other things were not put back together. I have never had a good experience and I have been there multiple times. They take an excessively long time to do anything. Better off doing it yourself.

I took my car in to have my oil pan retapped and to have my steering pump and belt looked at and fixed. The retapping was fairly priced but the charge for looking over my steering components was far too expensive especially since they did nothing to fix the problem. I took my car to an Autozone and had their guys take a look--not only did they not charge me but they helped me fixed the problem right there in their parking lot. I know many have had good experiences with Cleggs but I personally dont think I could recommend them.

Kyle and his team are top-notch. Not only have they made excellent regular wear and tear repairs to my car over the years, theyve also saved it from being totaled more than once. Absolutely competent mechanics and wonderful customer service.

Took them a week to diagnose a bad key connection, then I had to pay the dealer to fix it because they could not.The funny part is that they say if you fix it through them they waive the petty diagnostic fee. Dont use them they take agesAnd when they finally find your issue, youll have lost enough money from not being able to drive for work. That youd been better off taking it to a dealer and getting screwed.Dont recommended they are💩

Stay away!! Crooked and just try to take advantage to make a buck. Told them to check out our suv and see if they could find anything wrong with it before we sold it. Gave us a list of things and I said I would call my husband and get back to them on what we wanted them to fix. Instead they went ahead and fixed whatever they wanted and left us with a large bill! Said we gave them the go ahead and neither my husband or I ever did. But now we have to pay for work we never agreed on. Gave us a 15% discount... oh gee thanks! If you don’t like being screwed out of your money then this isn’t the place to take your vehicle!

Took my car in at 8:30 in the morning to have it looked at, he said it would be looked by the end of the day. End of the day comes, no call. Next morning I call at at Ten, No answer. I call again at 1 pm, they answer and put me on hold for 5 minutes. When they finally pick up tell me how much it will cost to fix something (more than it should have been). I think about it for a while and agree. He says they should be able to finish it that night.I call back at 6pm they say oh well they just pulled it in to work on, it should be done tomorrow morning. I say ok and then no call. So i call at 1 and they say oh we are just finishing but the original problem you brought it in is still happening as it is just a sensor. That will take us 5 minutes to replace as well as the cost of it plus 30 for that 5 minutes of labor.While the people are actually pretty friendly their overall customer service completely sucked. 5 days to fix something else and then to tell me they can fix the original problem for a lot cheaper and in 5 minutes.Ill let you decide if you want to take your car to them but as for me they will never get my service again.

Super helpful & did a very thorough job

They were amazing people that were so considerate of my desperate situation (dropping off my car last minute as it broke down just down the road and leaving it as I walked to work). They assessed my car quickly and got an answer back before lunch time!! They helped walk me through what was wrong with my car over the phone and gave me several options and suggestions on what to do. I didnt feel pressured to make a hasty decision, instead postponing any answers to talk with my husband. They called me back to check in with me to see what I had decided to do and offered to store the car over the long weekend while I thought about it. They did all of this and more without charging me a cent! NOT ONE PENNY!! I highly recommend Clegg Car Care. They are an outstanding company.

My parents love this place but I have only had sub-par experiences. Theyll get the job done but what the owner says and what the workers do is always a little different. For example I asked if he could top of my fluids after fixing my breaks he said sure! For no extra charge, but in the end the worker billed me for every fluid I got topped off.

This is the only place we bring our car for repairs, and we know so many others who feel the same way. Trustworthy, fair, and top notch work.
