Brought my car in to get it looked at to see what repairs might be needed after an accident. I was clear that I needed to pick the car up after hours the following day so I could drive to work, and was assured they would be left in my unlocked car. They did not leave my keys in my car and it was locked, leaving me with no way to get to work after they assured me it would not be an issue. Trying to call their voicemail box was full. I am unable to retrieve my car and now have no way to get to work.
That was such a wonderful place to go to. It’s a clean, spacious atmosphere fit for anyone looking for vehicle repairs. The lines inside the stores move rather quickly. The body shop keeps you updated by text every step of the way and tells you when your vehicle will be finished. Repairs are set at reasonable prices. I have saved a lot of money coming to Gerber and plan to be an ongoing customer. Staff gives great excellent customer service. Never have I had a bad experience coming here. Great views Outside of the distant mountains. Lots of other businesses in the area to visit. The staff at the counter are always so pleasant.
Worst place you can take a car to made a bunch of excuses to not fully fix our truck will never recommend them to any one not even my worst any horrible work, horrible service, horrible way they treat there customer’s. Also they left a butch of spots with scratches and didn’t fix our dents

Life is a challenge. Forms, reports, insurance, arranging for help dropping car off and picking it up. Service was great and my car came out looking better then new. Nice to get it done quicker than any shop around estimated and 3 days earlier than Gerber Projected. Marcos was super fair with pricing and beat out the other shops around. I wouldn’t hesitate coming back here. Thanks!
Cant recommend these guys enough. They were true professionals every step of the way. Their shop and customer area was always clean and organized. My vehicle was delivered on time and they kept me updated with almost daily text messages informing me of my vehicles progress. The quality of their repairs was excellent and my vehicle left looking even better than it did before our accident.
Hands down period end the absolute highest standard of customer service I have ever received. Regular updates via text message, ultra high quality work, they coordinated directly with the insurance company so I didnt have too. After picking it up there was some issue with my turbo, so I brought it back in and they fixed that, as well as a crack in my windshield and topped off my low coolant. When I went to pay they wouldnt accept. Outstanding operation great people to work with highly recommended.
The office here was very nice. There were a few toys for the kids to play with while we were waiting and there wasnt anything out that they could easily get into. It was so easy to get the car fixed here because of this. They also did an amazing job fixing the damage to our car. I cannot tell where it was anymore.

This is the company that you want to do business with. They will fight for you with the insurance to get your the most money to repair your damaged vehicle. I would absolutely go back.
At the end of feb we took our suv to be repaired after an accident because our insurance said they were an approved shop. They only fixed the cosmetic damage and an exhaust and didn’t check for any other damage. I was out of town when my husband was driving my suv and even within 5 mins of leaving the airport I could tell there were issues. When I got back I contacted gerber and told them and they said they didn’t check for other damage because it was a 5 mile per hour fender bender. It was not. It was a 45 to 50 mile per hour accident and the car that rear ended us had to be towed and was totaled. I told him this and he still argued feeling it wasn’t. The car had slid partially under our car. I told him about the noises and issues and he said that the noises were probably there all along I am just noticing them now because I know there was an accident. I told him these noises and issues with the car jerking back when accelerating and the steering wheel shaking was not happening before the accident. He finally agreed to do a ride along to see if he can hear the noise but I couldn’t because of high risk for the virus. Since then I didn’t feel confident in them checking out my car. So I took it elsewhere and found that the rear differential is damaged and it is going to cost is $8k and the insurance won’t add it to the claim because of how much time as passed. If gerber had done their job properly this would have been found there and it would be covered. Now we are out of a car. Thanks a lot gerber! Don’t go there unless you just want the body work done and nothing else.Edit: Jay did call me and helped to make this right. He contacted my insurance company and sent over info I sent to him and informed them that if he had received this info from the dealership he would have sent it to the insurance for payment. He apologized for thinking it was a 5 mile per hour accident and he is doing all in his power to help me in my situation and is showing that he cares about us getting our car back to the way we had it before the accident. Therefore I changed my rating from 1 Star to 4. I would give it 5 stars if the car was driven around some for sounds before giving it back to us in the first place so all this could have been avoided. But, we are all human and make mistakes. Since he is making it right and helping us I feel they deserve the 4 stars and restoring our faith in them.
Some guy in a big white pick-up decided to hit our brand new VW Jetta and caused some damage to the rear passenger quarter panel. In order to not void our warranty, we decided to go with Gerber to have the repairs made. The staff was rather nice and helped us out through this mess and got our car fixed pretty quickly. They even fixed a small dent that was not part of the original plan :)
Stopped by for a quick estimate after being rear ended. They were very honest about exactly what did or didn’t need to be done. Even buffed out some previous scratches and scrapes on the spot. Excellent and honest service.

Our experience at Gerber Collision was beyond excellent. Our case was handled by Brandon Zavala. He treated me like a family member - explaining everything they would be doing with our car repair, what would be involved in the repair - materials, time/labor and more importantly, why specific things needed to be done in order to fully comply with the manufacturers safety specs. He explained what could be done to save a bit on the costs, but also why certain things were critical in terms of our safety and also resale value, etc. No one has ever taken the time or care to do that before. The job was completed without any surprises at the end, like happens so often at other shops.With all of the above, Brandon called with updates and how they were progressing to the scheduled pick-up time. He also carefully explained why, with todays new paints and clear coats, we needed to hand wash our car for 90 days so the paints could cure 100% (no car washes that could damage the new paints)>Throughout this experience, Brandon was genuine, polite, caring and professional. I would (and will) recommend Gerber, and Brandon in particular, to anyone needing collision repair/auto body work done on their vehicle. Fantastic experience with these guys.Im a college student who knows close to nothing about cars.. I came to them with bumper and headlight damages. They got my car in the shop within 3 days!! Highly recommend bringing your car here.

They were very upfront about what to expect, and they always took our phone calls when we asked for updates, but their free popcorn game needs work lol (mosly salt, butter would be nice, but they are not a movie theater, so it can pass lol). We also appreciate their lifetime warranty on their work, peace of mind. Thank you for taking such good car of our vehicle, and we noticed the additional little details. Also thank you for being so much easier to work with than the at-faults insurance company, it made the whole ordeal barrable.

UPDATE: THE COMMENT BELOW THEY SAY THEY GOT IN CONTACT WITH ME ABOUT THE SITUATION THAT HAPPENED 3 MONTHS AGO AND IT IS A LIE. THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME. NOT ONCE. If I could give Gerber Collision zero stars, I would. I never particularly got to getting a service, but they way I was treated was 100% unacceptable and unprofessional. I was objectified and inappropriately hit on by one of the workers. He was taking pictures of ME while taking pictures of my car, he was calling me names such as, beautiful or sweetheart, and lastly was outlining my body on the picture on the screen. It became so awful and unprofessional my insurance company had to take call in and complain and cancel my car appointment. This worker even went as far by not telling me information on the screen wanting me to come over by his desk and stand by him. That is horrible service, very unprofessional, and can be considered harassment. I feel bad for this company because they probably would be a phenomenal company but are represented horribly by their workers. I PRAY that no women EVER come here.

I had them do body work on my truck when I was in a wreck. Very friendly and went way our of their way for me. I was very impressed with their work in the front end of the actual body work and the backend with their office staff. It is hard finding someone you trust in the auto body industry and I would trust them with any work.
This place is slow and lets you leave with several remaining repairs. We got in an accident so our insurance covered the $4,000 + in damages. For the most part they had our car working after TWO months of having it. When I drove it off their parking lot it was making weird sounds so I turned around and dropped it off for another two and a half weeks. They returned my car with repairs they promised to fix once they got the parts and when they returned it my white upholstery was ruined from black oil grease. Once they have the part, I take it back and it still doesnt get fixed. I feel embarrassed I recommended them to our friends while they were still fixing our car.They did however take care of our deductible and provided a rental that they didnt charge for. Management is great, but the mechanics leave something to be desired.
This is the classic dirty mechanic. Completely dishonest, slow to complete routine work and completely incompetent. I called multiple times to find out when my car would be ready and four days later I still hadnt received a return call. When I showed up, I found that the only thing done to my car was the driver side door left open and a dead battery. None of the work had been completed and Id never been notified once of any problems. The whole reason I came here, despite being warned against it, was because my insurance company said they were a trusted mechanic with a lifetime warranty on all their work. When their work failed (part of my car literally fell off while driving, after being incorrectly repaired) but Joe, the mechanic refused to honor his warranty and did not repair his mistake. Please, do not go here! Im not the first person theyve screwed over and I wont be the last as long as they are open.
Car has been there for 8 weeks. Still dont have it back. They broke things in the process of replacing glass. Cut an electrical wire, broke moon roof track, left black greasy hand prints all over my headliner. Car is brand new, it was clean as a whistle prior to them getting it. Entire car was painted, all glass and lights and mirrors replaced. When we went to pick it up there was paint overspray all over new glass and lights. New paint had dirt, hair and lots of scratches in it as well as over spray and other tape damage to paint. It looked horrible. One set of new lights not working. They dont return calls. We had to return the car for them to fix damage they did to the car. We were without a car for several weeks as insurance only covers a rental for 30 days. Gerber is now renting a car for us after we complained. We still do not have our car. I am scared to see it when they finally call to say it is finished.New note. Was able to pick up car after it had been there several months. Still problems with the paint. So so disappointed. This place is a no for me. Dont waste your time or money. I hate my car now. It was new and shiny. Now it is covered in white Marks in paint. Paint color is not the same all over the car. More than disappointed. This was a stressful situation all around for me. Please dont waste your time and money to be disappointed like me.

Car was delayed so long that the insurance didnt want to pay for a rental anymore. When it was finished, there was messy paint and parts that werent even fixed at all. They tried to charge me more than the price we had agreed upon.Edit: Im not sure how to respond to the business, so Ill just do it here. This experience was posted years ago and only appears as a recent review because I fixed a typo in it. Im over this and am not looking for better treatment. That ship has sailed and Ive moved on.
