Went here once to pick up an order for my wife. I think she said shed visited there many, many times to catch up on research during lunch. For a small-er Cafe they have a pretty good breakfast offering....and to my surprise...they make your food on the spot!I thought the breakfast sandwich would be pre-made and sitting the case (nothingwrongwiththatof course)...but, no, no, no they put it all together right there with your requested preferences....while you wait. So my sandwich was piping hot!I tried to buy something a treat and a hot coffee for a lady sitting outside whom I thought was homeless, but she respectfully and sternly declined. They have ample seating both inside and out, so dont be a stranger....give their breakfast a try.
Coffee drinks a little pricey and not made per the description. Pastries looked good but did not try. Still better than Starbucks but as far as going back, I think well pass.
We bought some macaroons and a couple of croissants. It was ok. The macaroons seemed too spongy in my opinion and the croissants (at least the one I had) tasted a little stale. We did go in right before closing so maybe it was the time of day we went. Will give this a shot next time we’re in town although maybe this place is just not for me. A+ for service and cleanliness though.
The atmosphere of this cafe is priceless. The interior design and music choice of it makes it feel like you transported into another city. The food, especially the breakfast meals, are incredible.Although the staff was quite intimidating at first, they are really nice and polite. Tempted to go there every week, however it is indeed quite pricey but worth the price.
Food was great! Kids loved the ice cream! I tipped well. I should have not. All I wanted was my glass of wine. After 10 minutes my kids were done and my wine was done. But my wine wasn’t brought over. After checking I was told I would be brought my glass. 10 minutes later. Nothing. my wife went to check and was told it’ll be brought to us. After standing there we were finally given our drink by an irritated server. Simply wow! What was that!?!
Lovely and authentic place. Foods are delicious and kind service.
Pandor is my fiance and Is favorite breakfast and night time Gelato place. The atmosphere is matches perfect with the setting they are going for. The food is made fresh and taste fantastic. Highly recommend take a weekend morning to come here for breakfast or a late night Gelato run! Highly recommend!
We had a great time here! The food is a breath of fresh air compared to other restaurants. You can have a light but filling lunch or dinner and finish it off with gelato or one of their amazing pastries. They even have fresh bread for sale. Can’t wait to go back!
The place lives up to expectations with friendly and cheerful staff and a good selection of affordable healthy menu options. The ambiance of the place is very comfy and was conveniently located. This is a great place for any business meetings and dates as well. I highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone.
Good job! This coffee shop really has the best coffee thats best for me! Every time I come around here, the staffs are very polite and even greeted me enthusiastically. The coffee was really good, and thanks to this barista, who does it very well. It was a good place to hang out with friends and family.
Treasure Found! Bread Pudding and an iced mocha. Definitely stop here for dessert.
The French martini I ordered was well crafted. The mussels were in a wonderful sauce— delicious! The Caesar said and both the fish and Steak entrees were excellent. Not inexpensive, but I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was very good, however, youll get more food at another eatery for the same price. A tiny plop of potatoes that could have been cooked longer came with my small Make Your Ownomelette.
We went for a baby shower. The pastries are very good. They have a patio set up out front.
Fantastic brunch. I had the three item omlette, my wife had a delicious french toast. We split an almond croissant and each had a very nice cup of coffee. The meal was fairly prices. Service was excellent and food was 5 star. The quantity, quality, and price were awesome 👍.We will do that again!
No longer serving crepes....perhaps due to cutbacks & overhead. All done going here to eat.No longer a French establishment without the crepes they used to serve
First time visiting this cafe and it was an absolute delite! The employee Aadin was so a great employee really explaining everything to be from choices on the menu to each and every Macaron flavor in the display case. He really took his time to give suggestions on food and talked to me asking what I was in the mood for and went from there. Really great customer service which is hard to find now a days.I ended up getting a spicy chicken panini along with potatoe and cheddar soup which were recommended and they were both delicious! Had great flavor and bread which was made at the location was really good! A crunch and softness to it which was amazing. The soup could have been just a tad warmer but the flavor was great and extra cheesy! The bread really was good, I honestly try not to eat bread too often but it was hard to resist finishing it all which I did.For dessert I got a single Earl grey macaron (my favorite flavor) and it was pretty darn good. It came from a refrigerated case so I did let it that a little to room temperature and it was very good! Soft/fluffy shell with a crunch on the outside still. The flavor was light but still there to tell what it was. Very good. I ended up getting 12 to go and try many of the other flavors. After I ate I ordered a drink to go and it was also very good. A tea latte which a lot of places wont even do for me. He was excited to make it and took his time making sure it was made correcting and it tastes great!! I would go back just for the drink!Im excited to go back and try different things on the food menu and see what everything else tastes like.
Really good food. Cozy and friendly atmosphere. Ill definitely visit again!
It is optional for the food service employees here to wear masks, so they get a 1 star from me. We are still in the middle of a pandemic and I’m not comfortable with unmasked people handling my food. I hope they reconsider this irresponsible stance.
I am giving it 5 stars because they are so friendly and everything was delicious except for the french onion soup. It was very peppery and tasted like bullion. Skip that and try everything else. Yum!
The staff is very quick. The food is so delicious youre going to feel at back there. Im sure Im going to go there again and suggest a visit to everybody.
What kind of French place doesnt have crepes?! I drove over an hour to get here, waited in line for 15 minutes, and then the guy at the counter tells me they have no crepes. Ridiculous.
Have been a fan of this location in its various iterations. So glad that Pandor kept the gelato and paninis. We all enjoyed our different plates and desserts. The Orange Circle has Glassell blocked off for through traffic and the restaurants including Pando have outside dining in an open air tent.Overall a great experience.
Love their matcha lattes!!! Breakfast is great! Try the breakfast sandwich and their chocolate almond croissant and beignet.
Great food, delicious bread, specially the almond crossants. A bit pricey but worthy. Definitely coming back.
Always a tasty treat good coffee good service good people great pastries!
Had some amazing gelato, took home some creme brulee. It was delicious!
Excellent people, my server even gave me a complimentary cupcake 🧁 and was very helpful and polite with her assistance. Love their cakes, doesnt feel like you are tasting anything too sweet or artificial.
Turkey & Brie sandwich is great avocado and mixed greens. The bread on the sandwich is so crispy. The omelette comes with potatoes and Salad. Omelette very spinachy really light breakfast meal. The place is always clean and the staff is nice. They have decent variety of drinks topo chico, organic, etc. The gelato here is on pointe!
The OMG bars are sweet with not much flavor.. It was described as a blondie.. it was nothing like it
I gotta say that the pastries here at Pandor are probably among the most delicious Ive had anywhere. Probably not the healthiest, but the most delicious.Pandors little twist on the cross bred donut/croissant, called the Dornut is a flakey, buttery fried dough of goodness! Fill it with vanilla custard cream and its out of this world. Besides the signature donut, they make make beignets, danishes, savoury breakfast dishes and sandwiches. Mimosas are served with real OJ and personally, I think that makes a huge difference!Service is good as well. Akin to the service at a European café. The space inside is long, with sufficient space for multiple parties of 6 plus people.Overall a great place. Just wouldnt be able to make it a weekly ocurance. They are on the pricier side and I would probably pack on 600lbs.Cheers!!
We tried this place for breakfast and it didnt disappoint. I had the quiche florentine which had a very nice consistency, not too dry. My husband had the egg sandwich and that was a portion big enough for two along with diced potatoes which were pretty tasty. Decent sitting outside as well.
Friendly service, and best Napoleons in town.
This place is our go to place when we cant decide
Best almond croissant I’ve had which is really unfortunate considering the poor customer service, terrible management, and incredibly toxic environment. Employees but especially management also wear masks below the nose which is just not ideal in the middle of covid. On top of this my order has been messed up on numerous occasions, and they leave food uncovered?? Anyway, I’ll still be going for the almond croissants but pretty gross vibes regardless
Great bakery located in a very nice place
Excellent pastries and friendly staff. Perfect place for breakfast.
Love the breakfast all day menu and outdoor ambience. Very Parisian.
Excellent food. We had the breakfast egg sandwich, ham and cheese croissant and the croque madam and all were very tasty. There were many other items I would love to try should we get to go back.
Latte was very good. Great selection of pastries and Gelato...
The food was great, the outside seating needs some flare
Great Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. We love this place.
Good size sharing omelette and bread. Good taste.
Great patties and Gelato
We loved our savory crepes and salad. We also ordered an Americano coffee. It was also very good.
Great place to hang out and study. The staff are kind and friendly. I like the fresh lemonade with tiramisu ❤
First time eating here. Was good. People are nice. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. French toast was decent. Iced latte was pretty good.
Good coffee/espresso drinks.
Very terrible and unclean place. Hair everywhere, workers (managers) not wearing masks and mistreating employees in front of customers (I can’t imagine what they do when customers aren’t there). 0/5 stars
That place is freaking awesome. Great bakes and Gelato. Coming back again to try their sandwiches.
Yummy pastries and panini, coffee was good too
Pandor has a great location, located just off the Orange Circle, and is an easy walk from your car. A wide open entrance with a few tables on the outside invite you for quick easy dining. Inside, I found a disarray of tables, and immediately began to feel warm, waiting in line along a counter of desserts and pastries, with the order counter at the end of the line. There is a medium sized monitor near the front of the line, making it somewhat difficult for first-timers, to determine what they will order, while waiting in a long line. Did I mention, it was somewhat warm in there? Fans and air-conditioning would have made it much more comfortable for waiting to order and dining. The plates of food looked inviting as it was served to our table. I would say it was good, but did not surpass any expectations. Portions were average. I have visited Pandor twice, as other family members have enjoyed dining here. For the money, the atmosphere, comfort and food, for me, it was just okay.
Hands down one of the best breakfast spots!! The homemade gelato always satisfies any sweets craving. The OMG Bar is an absolute MUST!
Love this French style cafe with fresh bread, pastry, well prepared menu. Couldnt wait to eat... Tasty sweets. A gem in old Town Orange.staffs very friendly and the the atmosphere is very cozy.I recommended highly!!!
Staff is always super sweet and accommodating. The food is always very good but the desserts are GREAT. Their croissants are incredible but the best thing is for sure the macarons which are perfect!!
Impressive selection of breakfast items (including a good eggs Benedict and both sweet and savoury crepes), amazing selection of pastries and some beers!I dont know what is called, but I had something made with the same dough as a croissant but baked differently. It was one of the best baked goods Ive ever had. They accommodated our large party of approximately 12 people and let us rearrange the tables and stay for a fairly long time. I went with a native French person and she was quite satisfied. Great service, amazing food!
Very ghetto. Would not recommend.
This place is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. when I want to go to a proper meal, this place comes first to my head. splendid and diverse food and a rich cuisine.generous crew, and nice atmosphere. And very important, the cost is affordable. I tell about this restaurant with pleasure.
We got an assortment of desserts to try. Every thing was good! We really liked the raspberry cheesecake, the tarts, the creme brulee, and some of the chocolate desserts. Oh and this cake with a cream filling inside and Napolitano. We would definitely come back!
During Corona - plenty of outdoor seating and same gr8 quality !
Their breakfast options are amazing. Super good. Fresh and their service is dialed. My wife and I enjoy the desserts they offer here. I highly recommend Pandor. Its a great spot and to sit, enjoy some coffee and people watch.
I ordered pick up on 5/10/20I didnt receive the entire order-- they omitted a baked good. Also, at least 3 staff were not wearing masks. If they dont care about their health or mine, what does this say about this business?I wont be going back here again.
Really enjoyed this place I had the quiche was able to sit outside and be able to enjoy my hot food with great service Will definitely come back
Good place, food, service. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff.
Love this place. An absolute favorite. Fresh feels homemade efficient shop. Well run and dont miss the fresh bread!
I live in the Bay Area. I ordered a surprise birthday lunch for my son and his family and, with the help of DoorDash, it really was a delightful surprise!! Pandor did a fabulous job! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Absolutely delicious and fresh. Stopped by this morning and picked up an almond croissant. It was delish. i’ll definitely stop by again to try a different pastry.
Good food and friendly staff.
Excellent bakery. The OMG bar was incredible if you have a sweet tooth. This place truly reminded me of my time in France. Also was open on Mothers Day which was a nice plus. The coffee here is also quite good.
I find the place to have consistently bad service . This last time we had to wait fifteen min for a cup of coffee!Half way through our meal the waitress knocks into our table dumping the coffee on the table and floor the walked off grabbed a towel dropped it on the table and leftMy daughter and I cleaned up finished and leftThis was three for threeThe real issue is the Newport location does not have these issues
Bakery/cafe located right across the park that’s currently offering al fresco dining options as well as takeout during coronavirus. Decided to have some dessert and take a load off. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and it’s all shaded (seat yourself). Masks are required and they do enforce social distancing. I like that they do have beers (~$5) so if you don’t have a sweet tooth like my dad, you can just enjoy a cold one (just remember to ask them to open it while you’re inside the store). My one qualm is that the stracciatella gelato wasn’t as creamy as I’d hope it would be, and there was a dearth of chocolate mixed in. Gelato flavors were pretty standard, and they have a small/medium/large option which amounts to having 1 scoop/2 scoops/3 scoops. Alas they don’t have waffle cones, but they do have a variety of pastries and baked goods. They accept credit cards. For parking, we found street parking but be sure to read the posted signs. Otherwise there are public parking lots available.
Cozy, great customer service and yummy pastries. Came from Washington.
Nice cute cafe! Quite slow when they first open but definitely picks up between 8-9am. It gets pretty busy and would definitely recommend this place. Great coffee and different food and pastry options!
Food is great. Croissants are excellent. Their price points are a little high, but if you look for the right menu items you can get some pretty great value. The Pandor Club is MASSIVE (and delicious) and is basically two meals.
Everything was wonderful! Food, service, ambiance. My fiance & choose this quaint, romantic place to celebrate our Valentines day here. Thank you Pandor for a beautiful memorable evening with my love.
Love this French style cafe with fresh bread, pastry, well prepared menu. Always fresh, consistently good, health conscience combinations of menu. Every time we ate there it was delicious. Macaroons are great also.
Omg you have to eat here come on a empty stomach.Ate out side had the chicken ceasar salad 2 can split .The pastries, the breads and gelato. Just go you wont be disappointed.
Great French place with pastry, drinks
Pandor never fails. There food is always fresh and delicious, the staff is always friendly, and the restaurant is clean. I go about twice a week, and Ive never had a bad experience.
Okay so I havent tried many of their items but their pizza is amazing. Definitely worth a try if youre in the area. We also got a croissant which was great but I think I prefer Tartine in this category. Then again Tartine is a high bar with a ridiculous wait. Definitely want to try more items if Im ever in the area.
They have no respect for their workers or customers. And Iit’s very unsanitary. I’ll rather eat at the chum bucket.
This was such a fun place, very much like a pastry shop in Europe. They have indoor and outdoor seating. With a great breakfast, lunch, brunch menu. The K2 is definitely a shareable breakfast/dessert. The fruity pebbles on the top add fun color and and nice texture difference!
