Went there for breakfast and it was really good. The staff were friendly and fast. I decided to try the chicken and waffles Bloody Mary and it didn’t disappoint. It’s all the breakfast you need. Got the side of biscuit and gravy and the biscuit was soft and flaky but the gravy was excellent. Dipped my chicken in it and took it up another level. Just get a plate to put the chicken and waffles on so you can drink your Bloody Mary as you eat. Definitely will be back.

First time there had prime rib for Easter Sunday and it was just excellent my compliments to the chef

Excellent stop for breakfast with delicious food and friendly service. I always have the eggs Benedict and they never fail to satisfy. The nitro cold brew coffee is also a delight and enhances any breakfast. Katella Grill is a good choice. 10/10 recommend.

Came here for the first time, brought the family to have lunch, I order the beef ribs, the wife ordered the chicken fried steak and my son got the waffle from the kids menu overall we felt that the portions were very good size and the flavor was really good. I also order the Cobb salad which to my surprise was really really good, the portion was very generous and it had lots of turkey and bacon, it was delicious.Overall we had a great experience and we enjoyed coming in here and will be back for sure

The food is always great and it was today. I deducted one star for the poor air conditioning. It was very warm and stuffy in the dining room, bit with a cold iced tea it was ok. Service is always a bit slow and it was slow today.

Been around forever and been a few times. Came for breakfast and was just ehhh. The omelet was a mushy mess, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, maybe I was there on an off day. The sugar biscuits reminded me of the ones my mom would make from bisquick so you know nostalgia at its best.

It was where I say a cool ufo there and was able to connect in my life. 3vstars 4 those moments the rest was disappointing it wasnt Disney and Sailor Moon Approved. But its your business n this is my review. Thank you for being human with us. I like your way of helping when no one did. But everything has a ending. 10 years for me to go public about this.

Ive been eating breakfast there since I bought a car from the Mazda dealer across the street from Katella grill in 2016. I look forward to getting my car serviced every 5,000 miles at the car dealer and eating at the grill. Great breakfast and great service!

In todays reality, i give props to a restuarant that can adapt to all the protocols and rules that they must adhere to. My wife has met with friends a few times over the last months and had breakfast here. We were out and passing by and decided to stop ourselves. We sat outside, it was a really pleasant fall morning. The server was prompt and on it. The food came out quickly and we were served quickly. Hot and tasty. Server was very friendly and made sure to check on us a couple times during our meal. Very pleasant sit down breakfast. Which is rare and has been missed. Check them out. Youll be glad you did.

I had a Texas Chili Skillet for breakfast my husband had the veggie Skillet while we waited for our bike being serviced at IRV BMW. The best breakfast I had since the pandemic hit. Thanjs

Always great service and food. They have gluten-free options and are always happy to substitute for dietary preferences and allergies. Its home cooking so no surprises!

Service is a little slow, but usually due to how busy their servers are. They’ve set up an outside tent and the tables are distanced apart. Servers wear masks and gloves. Paper menus and a coffee pot to stay on your table for refills. I am satisfied with their COVID measures. It’s hard to go wrong with their breakfast but recently I tried their fried chicken and it’s amazing!! Even to-go it holds up well. One chicken dinner is enough to share between two people. Definitely recommend.

Great diner burger with a side of onion rings. The lemonade is not too sweet but also adequately sour. Wish I could have tried more items in the menu but I wasn’t able to. The thousand island dressing on the burger really made it stand out from other diner burgers. This place is a great go-to for a casual lunch or dinner.

Ive patronized Katella Grill for over 7 years. Their specials are delicious with XLNT pricing and their menu is quite diverse. I love the prime rib, plus its super tender, and only wish it were offered more often. Im also the leader of a group and we have met their for 3+yrs and love the food. They set up the patio area which allows us some privacy. We did have one reservation that was bumped so we sat in another location but they served everyone a complimentary dessert to compensate. The servers we had were always helpful and friendly. BTW, Mondays 1/2 chicken special is delish. They also offer discounts with same day movie tix which is unusual for restaurants and also have an inhouse discount card when you make purchases and get stamped it build value to be used towards a future meal. Overall, my negative experiences have been very limited, as no business is 100% all the time, but its their continued effort to maintain excellence for a great dining experience. As a result I give them 5 stars!

Our family goes here weekly! We LOVE the food and the service is bar none the BEST! All our servers are attentive and super nice. They are like family to us! They also have great gluten free pancakes that taste like they arent ;) My fave is the turkey dinner. They also have a great Thanksgiving take out if you dont feel like cooking!

Whats not to like about the delicious food served here. I havent tried everything on the menu but what I have had has always hit the spot. They serve a great breakfast menu for adults and children. The service is first class and the prices are very reasonable. Of particular note, in my opinion, are their pies. Try my favorite, the Apple pie. One of the best crusts around.

Went here for the first time last night. I was a little skeptical of the place when I pulled in the parking lot because the outside was not very appealing. Inside was much of the same, not very appealing. The inside reminds me of going to Norms. I was pleasantly surprised though. The staff is super nice. The food was tasty. It is one of those places you dont expect much from, but then you have it and you cannot wait to back.

Place was very quiet. Few customers. I guess not rush hour time. Food was good, service great, prices are compatible with other restaurants around area. Lots of free parking spaces. I will come back here and recommend to friends.

The menu is fantastic. The Managers hands on dealing with the cooks, Walters, waitresses and even customers is a 4 to 5 Star restaurants. I do not expect this great service from a neighborhood restaurant / grill. It is outstanding. The food is always excellent. This is a must try restaurant in Orange County.

I came in for breakfast before catching a train. I got the farmhouse breakfast. The food was delicious and my tummy was happy. The service was excellent too. I need to return and try some of the lunch items.

Use to come here a lot, for about 6 years or so.The staff is always nice but the manager likes to hover over the staff and customers.Not a big deal but what is a big deal is the new menu which is completely skyrocketed!!!Like I started before the staff is great, but the food isnt worth the money. Especially with a chilies right across the street and a farmer boys less than 3 minutes away.Good customers like myself dont like to complain, we just dont come back......

This place is such a gem. The service is great and the food is delicious and comforting. Kelly was our server and she did not miss a beat. She checked on us all the time and kept our drinks filled. She was very polite and funny! We will keep coming back here for years to come.

Breakfast was so good! Had a basic breakfast, 2 eggs over easy, hash browns, 4 thick slices of bacon and a biscuit with gravy. Very tasty! I recommend eating here.

Always a friendly staff. Menu on point, food selection is just wide enough to get what you want. Portions are good. Ordered a Cesar salad tonight, loaded with tons of chunks of salmon. The cheesy bread that came with it kinda derailed my idea of me eating healthy, but how can you resist cheesy bread? Recommended for everyone. Parking lot is in poor shape, be careful.

All the food (dinner) we had was of great quality and good portions. I really enjoyed the chili (spicy, not sweet). Ill be back to eat breakfast and drink coffee at the long counter.

I had the Cajun meatloaf, the spicy BBQ sauce was delightful. The place was packed for St. Patties day but the service and food was 5 star. While I did not eat anything off their St. Patricks day menu, others did and all was fabulous. Love this place

The food was great but the mask policy is dumb. Wear it to enter and wait in the lobby, cant sit in the lobby either. Once seated youre ok to be bare faced.
