Expired product, messy shelves, unfriendly/unhelpful employees on the sales floor. There is always stuff blocking product. I have to move boxes and carts just to get to stuff on the shelf. There are also expired sales stickers still up from Aug 8th. (Its now Oct.13th) Weights and measures would have a field day in this store!

Lots of dollar price items but also maybe equal or more amount of items over a dollar. Got to be really careful when picking out your itmes. It does have a great variety when it comes to birthday celebration decorations.

Staff is always helpful and friendly. They have things like play-doh and art paints for my kid, snacks and soda for me, cigarettes for my husband we come here weekly.

Many items. From soup to pet food to plastic and hardware! Not all recognizable brands. Things seem good though. Some nice clothes. Take cash and cards. Very nice people who go out of their way to be friendly. They had what I wanted and it was a pleasant experience.

Well if you want a great deal on stuff you probably already buy them go here like household cleaning items laundry. OTC Medicine. Same name brand at half price.

Great selection, super quick and easy way to shop in a hurry and on a budgetI made my usual trip in to family dollar to get some household items. They have a loyalty program thats attached to my phone number, saves me even more money, well, until this last visit. Neither of my phone numbers worked! All of the sudden i cant get my discounts! Ill have to go home and get on their website and sign up again! Havent had time lately and i lost over 5$ at that one transaction, because all of the sudden their system doesnt recognize my phone number that I have always used there. The clerk was apologetic, however, offered no help. Wasnt willing to do anything except send me home without my extra 5$ savings! Tells me Go sign back up you know where you can go! I was a regular customer. You could have been more helpful. I got the feeling you didnt want to help!

Great folks lots of good items...worth the stop.

I was so disappointed in this place. Its called Family Dollar, but most things were way more than a dollar and not only that, they were more expensive than Walmart or Target stores! Also, at the 99 cent store, most things are actually 99 cents. And, watch out for the mailer ads! Its a cheesy bait tactic. They made Tide Pods look like this awesome deal so youd want to stock up, but when you got there, the deal is only good for one use. Also, the inside of the store looks like something you see on the Hoarders show. They had to try to squeeze in EVERY little thing people come in for. I was very confused at this business model. Again, retail prices! Never going back. Ugh!

I wish I had the ability to give NEGATIVE STARS...Tried to do some couponing here it was a bust. Store Manager Glen never offered to correct the issue. The cashiers were rude, bad body language and giving me that irritated look instead of being patient. All 3 blamed the system and none of them offered solutions. Nothing was my fault and yet how was I allowed to leave empty handed? Maybe dont offer your shoppers rewards if you cant handle them and make them work.

Decent selection of clothes, home goods, good, electronics. Best of all its like not all in a heap at the bottom of the shelf, like most of the dollar and up spots. Its organized, and well put together.

Love this store. Great prices. Only negative was they didnt have my brand of razors.

As far as lets go this place is a one a good combo between a regular store and a 99 cent store definitely beats Big Lots for most things and I love Big Lots

Family Dollar reminds me of the old PicNSave. If you dont know what that is its the store Big Lots took over. They have brand name items for a cheaper price. And if you download the Family Dollar app you get discounts as well as a spin in a slot machine which gives you More discounts!

Its organized and fairly priced. Reminds me of a Big lots. Cool place if you want to pick up something real quick and dont want to wait inline at the Supermarket.

THE WORST! I tried calling BEFORE I went there to ask if they has a product I wanted. NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! I went there to see if they had it, I asked a young punk kid and he sheepishly said...oh we dont have those... I then told him they need to answer their phones, he said ...oh, sorry, I replied...NO YOURE NOT!!! They deserve zero stars

The associates were actually super friendly and great to chat with. The store is very well maintained and is the cleanest dollar store Ive ever been to.

Family Dollar on Chapman is Always a nice place to shop. I hope they never close or change it.

Horrible customer service by the Manager John. Arguing with me. Didnt want to honor advertised price. He kept stating it was against company policy. He raised his voice. False Advertising, Racist manager, rude and disrespectful. Didnt even want to provide his managers name. Worse experience ever.
