I went to a number of other Auto parts stores looking to replace my battery. however, was told by numerous employees cant install cause a new battery must be professionally installed meaning auto dealership. However, I said, let me try more place Advance Auto in Orange Park. However, got a similar response new battery must be professionally installed until I talked to Pam, She said, Ive done these batteries before and said, she could do it and she did. I was very happy and Pam did a great job installing my new battery in my Ford Edge. I would recommend Advance Auto to everyone. Thank You Pam!!

Guy in the store tried to only sell me a brand new alternator for almost a hundred dollars more than the rest of the alternators thats in inventory. Paid for a brand new slightly cheaper alternator just to be sent somewhere else to pick it up. then I get home to relieaze the same alternator that was suppose to be new is actually a remanufactured alternator and on the actual website the remanufactured alternator was 10-15$ cheaper than the one I originally paid for. I’ll definitely won’t be coming back and I’ll make sure to recommend anywhere else.

Max at Advance, the Orange Park location did everything he possibly could to help me when my entire drivers door handle broke off. Even though Dorman said it was the correct part for my vehicle, it wasnt unfortunately. I could tell that Max really cared and he did everything he could think of to help me. He is a very sweet and professional Man. Thank you Max! 😊 I appreciate your help and your patience with me while I was so obviously stressed out!

Worst customer service ever. Old lady in store was bothered to help and had no idea about coolant additive was and just walked away after showing me the coolant section. Then when asking a question she was too busy opening up a slim Jim to bother with researching my request and the other attendant just stood there and did not offer any assistance. Literally I was the only person in there. People need to be thankful to have a job and do their jobs. I will never use this place again! Horrible customer service. She should be fired if that is what they offer as customer service. It’s a joke!!!

These folks are AMAZING! I have been visiting this location for YEARS! I have NEVER had a bad experience with there staff and this day was no different. I was in search of the location that my Grandmothers Car Battery had been purchased from as it was still in warranty but BAD. I had No Receipt or confirmation of who purchased it, all I knew was it was an Advance Auto Brand.When I walked in the gentlemen behind the counter immediately asked how he could help. After I explained my situation he asked if I had an Idea of who might have purchased it and their phone numbers. I told him it was likely one of 3 three family members. He told me no problem and we went through the list of family members by phone number. Once we found the transaction for the battery. He confirmed it was still in warranty and replaced the battery with NO QUESTIONS ASKED! Not so much as a sigh, grunt or a hint of an inconvenience from the employee, I believe his name was Max! I was absolutely astonished by the Customer Service I received from this gentlemen! Way to go, I wish I had taken a moment to read his name tag so I could make sure I have his name correct to give him some props.I highly recommend stopping by this location for your Automotive needs!

I stopped at this location because I need to add a quart of oil to my car. Went into the store grabbed the quart I needed checked out, and the 3 associates that were working didn’t even ask if I needed any help putting the oil in my car. You would think they would have the curtesy to ask but nope.

Well. Never have the parts I need. If I call to check your on hold for 3-18 minutes. They are short just on line of rude. I would go to AutoZone first if possible.

Its a convenient location for me because its right in front of my neighborhood theyve always been pretty helpful and for the most part of had what I needed now there are times that they dont have what we need but for simple everyday car maintenance stuff and repair or even customize they definitely have a decent selection 😉

Always helpful and always trying to save me money! They have loaned me tools to replace a light bulb or something similar. They actually installed the battery I purchased on the spot and did i QUICKLY! We love this place.

I had to get a battery replaced they asked if I needed it installed and they did a great job no extra charge. Jimmy was awesome and very helpful. They also dont charge here to take the old battery which AutoZone does in the price was the exact same for the hardware.

Their batteries have gone down hill in the past couple years. The Golds last only 2 years, the 3 year warranty starts when you buy the first one.you will be lucky if the lawn and Garden batteries last the whole 90 day warranty.... Now I get them at a legit battery distributor on Jacksonvilles westside for 12 dollars more with a 1 year warranty.

Im a lifetime car guy. Took Auto Tech in high school and worked at Ford for 2 years as a technician. This is my parts store of choice. They dont know me there so its nice to go in there and them not try to sell me unneeded parts. For the most part the people there know their stuff. Check online for coupons before you go. There always seems to be a 20% off that you can get from your phone.

Ordered a part online with the advertised 25% OFF. Picked it up and brought it home to install it but to my surprise, that part was totally the wrong part. So I went back a 2nd time and they tried to convince me that it was the right part but I was doing it the wrong way, so I went back home and tried again. The 3rd time I went back(frustrated),they finally woke up after playing coy and realized it was the wrong part, blamed it on an outdated inventory system. They did refund me my original amount due but the RIGHT part I purchased wasnt allowed the 25% off as I originally wanted due to not being bought online which is a joke. They advertised 25% OFF which originally caught my eye and I ended up not getting it which is just a low business rip off on their part. I could have went to other auto-part stores(and I will in the future) for the same or better price. The customer service guy Chris E(who was having a smoke out front when I came back the 2nd time), acted like a know it all, and looked like the frustrated hot-headed one when I questioned him about the final price for the actual right part on the 3rd visit. I am the customer, I took 3 trips back-and-forth trying to get the right part and you took away my 25% discount along with wasted gas, thanks but no thanks. Stay away, go to any other auto-parts store if you want to avoid sheisty business schemes that this one pulled off with me.

Top notch service. was like chatting with friends when i went in.

I bought a car voltmeter, to check the problem with starting protocol. Wasnt the starter, key ignition, alternator or battery. So employee suggested starter fuse, also incorrect. It may be the clutch switch.
