Bought my car in October. The heated seats worked on 1st test drive but since have not but is going in to be fixed November 2nd. Aside from that it has been a wonderful comfortable car and I enjoy driving it. The salesman and people at Hanson Subaru were great to work with and made things easy.

IT DID NOT GO WELL. MY FOUR-YEAR-OLD BATTERY DIED, JUST HAVING THE OUTBACK IN FOR SERVICE AND SPECIFICALLY ASKING THEM TO CHECK THE BATTERY. THE TOW DRIVER DIDNT COMMUNICATE WITH ANYONE AT THE DEALERSHIP, AND THEY COULDNT FIND THE KEYS. FINALLY RESOLVED, THE NEW BATTERY INSTALLED THAT DAY FAILED A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER. THE GATEKEEPER (PHONE RECEPTIONIST) WOULDNT GIVE ME AN APPT. SOONER THAN TWO WEEKS. HUH? FOR A DEFECTIVE BATTERY THEY HAD JUST RECENTLY INSTALLED, AND, I ONLY HAVE ONE CAR? FINALLY GOT TO THE SERVICE MANAGER WHO OKAYED ANOTHER NEW BATTERY INSTALLATION THAT DAY. LOTS OF PHONE CALLS, TWO TOWS, AND AN ABUNDANCE OF STRESS. DISAPPOINTED IN HANSON!

Not only is Aaron Johnson a great salesman and representative of Hanson Motors, he is a very sincere person. We never felt pressured to purchase a vehicle; yet Aaron took the time to show us options of the car we were interested in and was available to us to answer any questions and concerns we had before and after our purchase. It is hard for me to over emphasize how amazingly positive our experience was. Beginning with Eric hosting my initial round of test drives, and later being taken care of by Juan, there was an impressive continuity of excellent service. Disappointing experiences, one after another. I just checked my oil level this evening before a long trip for tomorrow and its egregiously over filled. Guess who changed my oil last? Yup, Hanson Subaru. Seriously guys, an oil change is so simple and i should not need to check your expert work! Im now draining almost a quart of oil from my vehicle in the pouring rain in the dark so that its safe to drive tomorrow. Who knows what damage has already been caused...

2021-05-3Hanson addressed the issue head-on.Im appreciative of everything Hanson did to help me through correcting the issue, which included providing a loaner vehicle.Its not about whether a business makes a mistake or not, its about how a business adopts responsibility for a mistake, and the actions taken to correct it.I look forward to doing continued business with Hanson.2021-04-28Hanson Subaru is resolving this issue.2021-04-22Used express lane for an oil change. The oil level was overfilled by 1-2 quarts, causing the Subaru vehicle to smoke a bunch. Very disappointed with this, since if Im taking my vehicle to a dealer, my expectation is for the highest level of competency.

Ronnie was amazing and spent the WHOLE DAY finding the perfect car for my family. He wouldnt stop until everyone was happy. He found our 1st Subaru that is perfect for us, it checked all the boxes for what I needed for a SUV. Mike is the best salesman here, hands down. He focused a lot of his time on getting my family into what we needed, at an affordable interest rate with a great trade in value on our other vehicle.My only complaint is that there is no accessibility friendly doors to get into the showroom area. I had struggled with getting a toddler in a stroller over the sidewalk to the door and watched an elderly couple with a walker have the same struggle to get into the building. Other than that minor issue, the building is lovely. The staff is friendly and the snacks were great!

Juan was fantastic to work with. He is very knowledgeble, and very professional.I bought a Crosstrek. They only had one on the lot at the time, (My thing was I wanted something differedt. I have had a Silver car since 2005 and I wanted a change.) The one I wanted was in rout.and had a estimated arrivaltate of a few weeks out. Juan was never to bussie to take my calls, or answer my many questions.The one time I called him for an update on arrival. he told me that they had just gotten one in. and I should come and take a look at it.The one they had on hold for another customer was also availablefor sale. I now had two choices, white or a very pretty Ice Silver. I chose the Ice Silver. ORyan mad the paper work go smooth. They were both great guys to work with. Even after I bought my Crosstrek. Juan still took the time to anser my questions. About a week after I got my car I had a guy going about 60 mph getting on the highway cross the fog line and through all kinds of gravel at my car, which inturn chipped the paint on my car, and pitted the windshild. I went by Hansons to get suggestions on how to fix it. One gentalman told me to get one of there paint pens and apply it to the chipped arreas. I ended up making an insurance clame. I had another question about the cars paint, Juan was great about getting me the answers I needed. Hanson Moters is the best.

We started looking on line for the 2020 Subaru Forester Touring. We went to test drive and everything went excellent. When we went in to meet with someone about purchasing the Forester Touring we were introduced to Aaron. He really did a great job with the pricing and was very friendly and professional. We came home with a brand new Subaru Forester in the exact color and model we wanted with all the features. I am very excited to learn more about our Forester at the educational meeting this week that Aaron set up for us to attend. Then I will be able to use all the new features in the car!

I had a slow leak in one of my tires so I took my Subaru in to Hanson. They checked the tire and said there was a nail in it and it would take about an hour to fix. I made an appointment for the next day, Friday. I brought the car in and after waiting for a hour and half I was told they couldnt fix the tire. They would have to order a new tire and it would not arrive until Tuesday. Then on Tuesday I got a voicemail and was informed the tire would not arrive until Wednesday. It is now Thursday afternoon and I cant get an update. I called a couple of times and was told my service rep would get back to me but no one has called. It is getting near to the end of the business day so I suppose I will have to drive into the dealership tomorrow morning in my backup pickup so I can question someone in person.

Ronnie was also extremely patient with my questions and gave me a lot of good information, he let me test drive and sit in every model I wanted to in order to help me make my decision. I went to several other car dealerships around Olympia and western Washington in general, and Hanson Subaru had the best customer service by far. I’m absolutely in love with my brand new Forester, already nicknamed “The Great White Shark” and it’s safe to say I’ll probably be a Subaru fan for life. Buy the Subaru. Just drive away from here. Nearly 4 years ago we paid for a vehicle and spent the extra on the extra coverage. Now I need to use the coverage and my new local Subaru cannot see it. So, Im paying for coverage I cant use because Hansons finance department doesnt follow through with their paperwork. So, drive a little more and then buy your Subaru somewhere else. Great experience buying a new Subaru at Hanson Subaru. I was a bit nervous about it due to the covid pandemic but everyone was wearing masks and there were bottles of sanitiser everywhere. Dan Canoy was great. I test drove a Forester and Dan explained all the different features. I did not feel pressured and Dan was able to find me the vehicle I wanted and accept my trade in. Everyone there seemed very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this dealership. It was also very helpful to go back when my plates came in and Toni took the time to go over any questions I had about how things worked.

EDIT: 5/19 - instead of attempting to fix my car (3rd attempt) and make the situation better. They have doubled down and told me to pick up my car because they wont fix it due to my review. Truth hurts, this shop was inept anyway, perhaps the next place will be able to get it fixed.5/17 - Just cant seem to get my car fixed. Same problem 3 visits (so far), thought about trading up... terrible selection of cars. 1 model of each (except wrx or sti... had 0 ) generally a terrible stealership. Also... dont fall for the wheel alignment scam.

I bought a 2021 Crosstrek from here and 4 days later they tell me that the financing is not being fulfilled by Subaru and that it has to be financed by another bank and extend the loan another year all because I am a first time buyer and when speaking to Sam the one who sold me the car knew before hand and said nothing about it. They tried to get an extra 5 grand from me and were shady about it. Strongly dont recommend going here to buy a car.

I had a Toyota Tacoma and was ready to trade it in for something new. I reached out to our sister Subaru store in the automotive group that I worked for and was treated like dirt. I was told by an internet sales manager that I was “preventing them from getting sales” after I messaged them about a WRX to see if it was available. I obviously felt discouraged, until I reached out to Hanson Subaru about a BRZ. I was met with the upmost kindness and respect. I worked with Jaun who was extremely helpful during the whole buying process. At the end of it all, I got the BRZ and left with a great feeling. Even after the buying process, I still had to turn my truck in to them. I live an hour and half north of Olympia and drove my truck down to leave it with them. The store was closed because the power went out (I was not aware of that). I called Juan and he drove all the way back to the store to insure they got my trade in. That was great customer service. I will surely be going back to do business with them and recommend them to my friends and family.

Ive owned a Subaru before and always had positive experiences with Subaru dealers in multiple states, so I bought an Outback here, and I regret it. It has 10k miles on it, I have had multiple problems, and the service is terrible. My gas cap hatch wont open again (for the 3rd time) so I cant put gas in my car. I called them, they told me to bring it in (yet again), its been there for nearly 24 hours and they havent even started working on it. I wont go there for an oil change as that takes at least an hour if youre lucky. The headlight cover seal is blown, and I dont even want to get started on the problems with the multimedia. Subaru was always my favorite, but I am very sorry I bought this car, mostly because the service department is so bad.

UPDATE: Hanson Subaru called and after having investigated it, they took responsibility. Their customer service is second to none. They are working with me to take care of the headlight issue.Original Post: They were quite pleasant to deal with and very accommodating at the last minute as it related to the headlight bulb replacement. With the Subaru model I have you have to take both wheels off to replace the headlights which is why I took it to the dealer. Tonight, after it got dark I realized they put the headlight bulbs in wrong and now my beams are wonky. The unfortunate thing is I do not live in Olympia and now I have to spend another $50 to have another Subaru dealer fix what Hanson Subaru failed to fix appropriately.

Hanson Motors is THE place to purchase a new Subaru vehicle. The buying process, which tends to disturb most people, was the simplest and quickest I have ever experienced. The sales staff are NOT pushy, they were accommodating, patient, and had put up with my numerous questions (I kept one salesman on the hook for three years before i finally made a purchase...honest!).One of the nearest features with Hanson is the after-purchase care service where a specialist installs the new license plates, asks a lot of questions related to my understanding of the vehicles safety equipment. He even syncd my android phone to Subarus Starlink allowing me to make/receive calls, texts, messages right from the center counsel. You even get a $25.00 cash card at the end of this session. Oh, your first oil change is on them!I cannot say enough of my experience at this dealership.

I did not buy my 2018 Outback from Hansen Subaru but probably should have. The Service department at this wonderful dealership is second to none!!! I had a few warranty issues with my car that were difficult to diagnose and find but they kept after it until the vehicle was repaired. Jeff and Jeeter( hope I got that right) were awesome and actually care about there customers concerns with there vehicle. Loaner car was always ready for me even on short notice. I grew up around service orientated businesses in the 70s and 80s and have not seen this level from a dealer in a very long time. I would highly recommend this place if you want to be treated good.

It never crossed my mind to think about buying a 2018 vehicle, because I thought the payments might be out of my monthly range. Tommy went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the vehicle I was most comfortable with. He gave me suggestions and his advice and I ended up getting a brand new 2018 KIA Nero Hybrid, that I truly LOVE and can afford. He really surprised me by taking the time to go over all of the features about the car, to ensure everything worked. He even set up my blue tooth ensured everything was working properly. Fraud!! This dealership told me they needed a non refundable $500 deposit to hold a vehicle over the phone. Then they told me I couldnt take the car home because paperwork would take 7-10 days, but if i paid cash I could take it home same day. Total BS beware when buying from them!! I dont think the vehicle was even on the lot!

Juan Neves has a wonderful combination technical expertise and a great personality. He answered all of our questions in a clear concise manner and made the buying experience at Hanson Motors better than our expectations. The after sales process was extremely helpful. Aeryk Denniston, the Delivery Specialist spent an hour with us reviewing all the operating systems in the car. And additionally met with us after a couple of weeks to answer questions. All in all, I dont know what they could have done better.

No hassle, no pressure, quick service without being pushy. Juan asked if I had a model in mind. I told him entry model Sorento. There were at least have a dozen to choose. Test drive went as long as I needed. Juan recommended getting a certified pre-owned to save money while I build my credit.

Went in to have a fog light replaced... long story short after an hour plus not only did not new lights, but slight damage was caused by the service department. No thanks I will drive 30-45 mins for a dealer service center.
