I love the big variety of Mexican and Latin products in general. The Latin cashier lady that helped me was so nice and helpful. They don’t have 5 stars because the store is a little old and needs some TLC and because they run out of Green pigeon peas.

I went through every isle. They have items I havent seen in 10 years. Definitely, will be shopping here on a regular....

This is my neighborhood market. The staff is always helpful. They are part of Price Chopper and carry allot of their brands. Other stores may be bigger but this store is well stocked. They also have a nicely stocked Mexican food section. They also have a pharmacy. The only reason they dont have a full 5-star rating is because their restrooms arent the nicest.

Store is cluttered and not fancy. But the food is good its clean & organized. The discounts here make it possible to get a couple streaks a week and I get them here! Great place. Balls family owned. Nice place.

Great place to get fresh produce and all your common items--fresh breath of air from the big box stores. The cashiers are friendly as well. They also have a nice selection of rare items too, including Mexican groceries and pastries. Great place to shop! 👍

Prices here, are pretty much the same as HyVee, Hen House and Price Shopper. Dont see a need to go back.

This place is nothing shy of a lifesaver. They are pretty much always priced lower than every other grocery store, they are pretty much always stocked up, and the staff is friendly enough.My only issue is that they dont have self-checkout.

I always enjoy going there. Yes, not a Hyvee or PC but their food always good, except OJ, got some bad stuff once. Ick Prices are good and the staff is always friendly. Meat decent also.. great veggies and BETTER PRICES on them

Only go for the pineapple sherbet. A lot of Mexicans shop there and the prices are a lot higher than other grocery stores around there.

The price chopper pharmacy inside is the best pharmacy anywhere!! Linda and jim treat you like family!! Never a stupid question with them, they take time to make sure everything is right n if not will fight hard for you with the bad way insurance companies treat the customer and the pharmacist.

It is not a place I would return to.Quite dingy and old. By old Im referring to the building and fixtures. Did not see many bargains pretty much standard prices and brands you would find at price chopper, Just the overall feel of the place was uncomfortable to me.Personally will not return.

I refill 5 gallons of water here for $1.25. I like the staff. Lots of choices in the specialty Mexican food section. Red lentils.

I stop into this market from time to time. Its a nice break from other stores. Has a good range of speciality items not found in regular markets. Its out of my way to get there so thats why 4 and not 5 stars.

This is our go-to grocery store. Great prices - especially on produce, dairy, and canned goods. The store is always well stocked and clean. I have always had great service from the cashiers and the customer service area. The only thing I avoid purchasing here is meat (as I had a less than great experience with some meat that seemed a bit past its prime), but there are plenty of other places to go for that. This is where I start with my shopping list and then I fill in the holes other places.

This is a nice grocery store. Most of the prices are descent. The store is clean and the workers seem nice. They have nice sales. They also carry some items that you cant find in other stores. I have been going to this store for many years because it has always been a grocery store just changed names a few times over years.

This is a great smaller grocery store. They have almost everything I need, except a special cat food. It is my favorite grocery store! Great prices, friendly staff, and great selection arranged in a way that makes it easy to find things.

People r very kind. Everything is cheap and fresh produce is great. You can get some exotic things there. However, you pack your own groceries which is not bad because you can help others. I did and they relayed my random act of kindness by paying for my groceries.

Best place for produce!

Nothing fancy and not as big of selection as other larger stores, but the best prices in town. Try their Best Choice brands. Most are just as good as name brands and way less expensive. The people are always nice and helpful.

Fantastic prices, extra-nice cashiers, an all Mexican section! We go there in a regular basis. Great price on butter, cereal, and cola in particular. We actually prefer their cola over Wal-Mart or even the brand names!

The employees are what make this place good. And if youre looking for a great pharmacy this is the one the people who work at this pharmacy are top notch

I personally love their produce dept. Lots of selection, almost feels like a farmers market and the prices are great, actually prices on everything are phenomenal. You do bag yourself but they provide bags. So what, its kind of fun really. Frozen foods were half price of regular store, great prices, lots of checkers.

This grocery store is an excellent choice if you are on a strict budget. You can still purchase good quality food for far less than the big chain super markets charge. It is no frills though, much like ALDI, however, the quality and brands are far superior. Payless is a subsidiary of Price Chopper so they carry the same brands but at a lower price. Just make sure you check the expiration dates carefully before purchasing, and you will have to bag your own groceries....bags are provided.

The pharmacy is one of the best in town they know almost everyone by first name. That means a lot to me and I will be back with all my medicine to get filled here.

I have shopped here for years! Its a great place for inexpensive and fresh produce. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean.

Prices are pretty competitive but not enough so that it makes it worth it that you to bag your own food which makes the lines take forever, so I will just stick with using their Pharmacy; which is by far the best pharmacy in town your not just a number to them they actually recognize that you are person and say Hi to you. In my case they know my name when they see my face and say hi to me before I even say hi to them. If it werent for the pharmacy I would not even go to the store it used to be a Price Chopper then they got it it and remodeled it and changed the name but the weird thing is its still owned by Price Chopper not too many people know that.

Always has good produce. Usually has one good beef sale each week. Otherwise fairly standard.

Customer service was fantastic! I have a special needs child and she went over and above to help me find the right shoe for him.Thank you again. I will be back ! Only wish I could order the shoes for him as he grows and still be the same style.

My go-to for cheap, high quality produce. In general, it’s kindof a sketch store but you definitely pay less. Would not recommend it for steaks or really any meat - in my experience the prices affect the quality in this area.

I would like to give higher marks but the store rarely carries lean ground beef. 93% lean I realize the name is Payless, but the prices are not always the lesser amount for groceries. The people working there are terrific.

Great prices on meats and other items. Sometimes you find seasonal items long gone from shelves, likepumpkin spice items. They have a big Latin clientele, so you will find some unusual items. Its an older store, not modern but is kept clean

Bought 2 boxes of hohos and opened one box and opened one of the packages and bit into it and it was stale and hard. The store took the closed box back but would not return the product that was bad. ?? If I bought a gallon of milk and it was curdled would they expect me to keep it and too bad, so sad. I was truly sorry to return it because I hate to hurt local small business, but I felt violated for this attitude. But ok, I will chose another store from now on. It makes me sad it is that way.

We just moved to the area and have been to this store twice. Both times the employees I interacted with were very nice and you can not beat the prices. I was dumbfounded at how much lower the prices were than where I had to shop before. This is our families new grocery store!!!

I like this place. The prices are lower than at Hy-Vee, and the foods are much fresher than youd find at Walmart. Still, its a grocery, and its a good one. Theyve a larger section of Hispanic products than those other stores, and its a lot easier getting in and out.

Hit and miss on certain items. I like the discount of meats, produce and now beer. Have to sack your own groceries, but they say it saves on cost.

I give this no frills, budget grocery store four stars because of the Hispanic ingredients available, especially the produce. This will never be our main grocery source, its not the cleanest, not the friendliest, but I am happy to have it so close.
