The tire warranty paid for itself. Leaving with zero charge on a tire repair feels great. My only complaint is dont tell customers that the car will be looked at first thing the next morning and then not get to it until late afternoon. By the time they called me they said they were closing early so I had to come get the vehicle right away or wait until the next day.
I dropped my car off at noon, and at 5 it still wasn’t ready. When they called I was told I needed outer tire rods on the front, and the alignment couldn’t be done without it. I ended up taking it to my mechanic, who checked, and had another mechanic check, and both said I didn’t need the outer tie rods. Took my vehicle to another place, and was able to get an alignment no problem. Do not recommend this location.
You be the judge. Four new tires on my F150. Was told it couldnt be aligned because the lower ball joints were worn out. Tires Plus explained it was a safety hazard and the tires would only last 30-40k miles on a 60k mile tire. Tires Plus wanted $790.08+tax+shop fees to replace the ball joints. I checked the ball joints myself and they seemed rock solid but what do I know so I took my truck to a shop that specializes in alignments near 80th a Metcalf. Family owned since 1939. They said there was nothing wrong with the ball joints, aligned it. Out the door for $87.28.If the ball joints were indeed bad I could have bought the same part (MOOG K80149) that Tires Plus was going to use, from Amazon for $22.39 each (Tires Plus wanted $105.99 each), borrowed the ball joint press from OReillys for free and do the job myself for under $50.00. Just saying.Im giving two stars because I came here for tires and Im happy with them but my wheels are marred from removing the center caps, there is grease on my carpet and either someone was not properly trained to inspect ball joints or they were trying to take advantage of me.
Despite what Google says, Tires Plus does NOT provide nitrogen for tire inflation.
I called Tires Plus right after calling Discount Tire at 6PM, the web page says closes at 7PM (Had a price in less than a minute at Discount Tire)... I Askedfor a price for 4 tires for my truck and the guy who picked up the phone said he was closed and would be happy to help me if I called back tomorrow. I will be doing business with Discount Tire and paying them $1000 to put the 4 tires on my truck tomorrow, also we have used Tires Plus for general up- keep oil changes and general repairs for years, I am certain I have a solid 20k in historical business with them. I will be cancelling my credit card and will never do business with them again. Their answering machine says this call may be monitored for quality purposes I wanted a price for 4 tires (thats it).... takes 30 seconds.a business that doesnt have 30 seconds for a customer doesnt deserve my business. I suggest passing up the Tires Plus in Olathe. Frustrating!
Had a nail in tire..was told it could not be repaired that the tire would need replaced for $279. Told him Ill just leave it in the tire and go elsewhere.by the way these are brand new tires. Went to L and M tires and they repaired it for $15.00.
Tried to go here after another Tires Plus left my tire leaking after an appointment I had, Francis was unhelpful and told me that he could look at it 3-4 days later, even though I have an hour commute to work and its not my fault another shop in their chain didnt complete their job properly. Was thinking about switching to this Tires Plus, but apparently the whole chain is short staffed and unhelpful. Do not go to Tires Plus.
Seems they will give ya a receipt saying you need 1000s of dollars work, then theyll offer you 350$ for it, I dont think it is very professional for mechanic shops to buy vehicles from customers.
Told me I didnt urgently need work on my brake pads and one FELL OFF 3 days later. Estimated $2.3k to fix calipers and brakes- Got it done at Burnette Automotive for $845...
Awesome customer service! Brought my car in - in dire need of help with a tire. They got me in right away and took care of my issue. Highly recommended!
Great customer service.
I use these guys all the time for maintenance work. They told me my daughter car had a nail in bottom side ways and couldnt fix it. Tires Plus had no problem fixing it at no charge.
Had a tire emergency close to the time they closed. They got me in and stayed late to make sure I was all set.
Scammers. Set up an oil change and tire replacement online specifically for my wifes car and specifically at this location for October 24, 2020. They refused to honor the online price of the oil change and proceeded to tell my wife that the tires their website which showed were rated for her car were not. $255 out the door price turned into $298.
Went several times. but they only cares of money no service.
Very friendly staff!
Great prices. Once I set an appointment, fast service and no pushy upsell on what is a straightforward service.
I called this location just a minute ago, and I’m very very disappointed, the person who answered the phone waited for me to say something before he answered by saying yes sir????! I was like ok maybe they’re tired, but then when we stablished the conversation he replied to me on everything sorry I can’t guarantee you anything, i was like this location doesn’t want my business, then i asked may i make an appointment ?? he replied sorry I can’t do that but you can bring your car first thing in the morning then he said but i also can’t guarantee you fast service. I was like what???? I guess these people do not want my service.. very disappointing . I won’t be going there for sure. Thanks for nothing Tires Plus
Great service, great deals. Went for a simple tire repair, but was not able to repair it. I bought a new one and was even given a choice and not pressured into the more expensive one. They were extremely polite and definitely there to help at any cost.
Great customer service, they got me in and out in a timely manner. Tires ride so much better and price was great. Very pleased.
Always feel like Im walking into my familys store. Customer service top notch. And quality workmanship.
The way they are handling COVID and waiting room makes feel like you are being punished pushing all chairs into far corner and having cones up to force go in out one opening,, with no amenities like tv, water or coffee. The idea of not touching keys are crazy it come more like throwing keys how do start car without touching keys. I brought up and manager was not empathetic, just said that was not the way should of felt and it was not a problem since I was only the person supposedly to complain. I said I could offer suggestion for better layout and offer social distancing and was not interested sends signal they obviously dont care how customers feel.
Pretty pricey compared to some other places, but not by a whole lot. Good service to make the price alllllllmmmmooossssttt worth it.They were open on a holiday and fit me in when I needed a tire replaced.Good place overall and will be back for a full set of tires next time I need them.I definitely have more confidence driving out of their parking lot that it was done right than I would have elsewhere.
Super sketchy. I tried to get an estimate on tire installation costs and the guy I spoke with hummed and balked and kept giving me excuses on why he couldnt tell me how much for installation. He wanted me to buy the tires from him. I get that much but he made up some bs story about how its not the vehicle that determines the price but which online vendor I used? What? Who care where I got them from? How much is it to put them on? When I challenged the logic he agreed to ballpark the price. Then he quotes me $104 for the installation and a required $94 alignment. I will never use this service.
Very nice guy up front today. They kept me updated throughout the process and the guy up front even asked me quietly if I wanted to switch to cheaper tires because I had said something about only having just enough to cover the cost. Very sweet of him. He answered all my questions professionally too.
👍
Was not impressed with the younger guy at vf the counter thisctime he was rude.
Ive gone here twice now. Both times we were very satisfied with the service. Everyone was very polite and professional. The second service we had done took a bit long but theyre busy so we understood. Well be going back for any future services we need.
The management and staff at this Tires Plus store are very friendly and always try to make you feel comfortable. They have never been dishonest or tried to rip me off.
Exellent service, i came decided to spend over $200.00 in new breaks due to a noise on the front well and after they did the FREE inspection they recommend that is nothing wrong with the brakes. Was only so e rust from this pass winter snow and salt. The honesty showed in this was very amazing. Thanks
This place was the best! I had brake problems that had grown and gotten out of hand, but they got my car back to tip-top shape. And best of all, the customer service was fantastic!
Poor customer service and bad business practices. Avoid!
Staff very nice. Service excellent.
Outstanding customer service!!!! I was helped right away, and Francis really went above and beyond in helping me get new tires for my fleet vehicle. Poor guy patiently waited with my fleet management company to get approval for new tires. I know he called them at least 3 times. I know i would have lost my patients dealing with phone trees and such. The Manager was very friendly with everyone I seen him interact with. Just a great experience. I will be coming back for all of my maintenance needs!!!
Fair price and service, I waited an hour for oil change and tire rotation, it cost me $89. But for Gods sake, dont store tons of tires in the waiting room. The room air is so bad. My nose still feels like burning for hours after leaving the store. Dont feel like come back.
The guys here are usually very helpful. Sometimes things can take it a little longer than you would like, but they are nice.
Get all my repairs done here. Never a problem. Staff is courteous and dont talk down to you. Frances is a stand up guy.
Tires plus was great. They got my a/c blowing ice cold. And took great care of me, communication was perfect.
This was the best experience and even beats out my dealer for service and speed. We were out of town when the tire blew out. This place is one of only a few that are open Sunday. Walked in at 845am and were done before 930am. Good pricing with superb service. Very impressed.
Travis was super nice, and the older gentleman in the front. I called to see if they could squeeze me in for a tire change before they closed, they told me if I could get here in time they definitely would. Sure enough, when I got there, they took care of me asap. I was very pleased with how timely they were, and super friendly. I would definitely recommend them.
I like tires plus theyve never steered me wrong or anything so Im pretty much going to be going back until I wont.
Quick and fair service. We have been here for tires on at least 3 of our cars and get a new set every year. They dont sell us anything we wont need or use. Its also nice that we can shop or hit the gym wile the service is being done.
They found and fixed the problem cheaper than expected.
After being dismissed for the problem that I kept telling another Tires Plus store and yet again by another Tech @ this location, I made an appointment at the other store because that other Tech no longer worked there sent to another store. After all the going back to the store for topping off the air in the $800 worth of tires Firestone & $90+ alignment I purchased they can to the same conclusion that I continued to ask about being dismissed. They took care of my valve stem core simple fix that cost me lots of gas for running back and forth & to the location of this post Im back to being a happy customer. However the MANAGER from this location was very apologetic & stated he would consult his tech that too dismissed my problem & could have taken care of their Valued Customer & that IS Appreciated.
CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! A couple of months ago I got new tires and the customer service was unbelievable. Tires Plus was running a tire sale but the tires I wanted were not on sale, Scott (the service advisor who helped me) gave me the deal anyways! I was very satisfied with my tires and had a great first experience with Tires Plus! Now, onto my second experience, today I had my oil changed. I brought a coupon with me for a $19.99 oil change and when I gave the coupon to Brett (the service advisor who helped me) he notified me that they actually had a better deal going on right now and that he would give it to me for $17.99. Tire Plus does a very high quality level of work but it is their customer service that separates them from the competition!
Super friendly staff and they took care of my flat super quick and made sure to inform me what really happened to my tire and even made sure that all of my other ones were in great shape!!
Love Tires Plus. No waiting like at Walmart. Tires are comparably priced with Sams and Costco.
Nice friendly people who work there. Will do their best to answer your questions. Good prices and selection of automotive maintenance.
Ive purchased several sets of tires here always an easy process and I recently had breaks done here. I did some comparison shopping on both while they were working on my vehicle and their pricing was in line with any other quotes I got. Service was fairly quick and the staff was helpful.
Been here several times to purchase tires and get an alignment done on 2 of my vehicles. Always have great service and competitive pricing. Worked my van in once after sliding into a curb during an ice storm even though their schedule was full.
Dan and the guys got us in late On my way! Hot Sunday while they were slammed to get us back on the road to denver! You guys rock and thanks for helping us out! Highly recommend this place
I had a great experience at this Tires Plus location. Yesterday I tried to get a walk-in appointment for an oil change at a local competitor and they didnt have time to do it for over a week! Its my fault for waiting until the last minute, but I needed one ASAP. I walked into Tires Plus around 4:30 or so and they were able to help me almost right away. Sean did a great job of explaining things to me regarding not just price but the differences in oil options. They did their courtesy battery check and fixed my tire pressures. I had a feeling I would need a new battery and I was right. He explained the quality of battery I had versus what they recommend, the warranty and told me that it wasnt an emergency that I get a new battery today but it was something to think about. He wasnt pushy at all but explained everything in a way I could understand so I could make an informed decision, which I always appreciate!
5 star service.
Low air light came on went over and asked if I could get some air the man said it would be 15/20 min for air. What a joke how are you even a manager?
We love the guys here and totally trust them. Frances and Jason are the best
Tires plus is a little more expensive than Walmart but offer much better service and is well worth the extra money.
Fast, helpful, courteous and above all honest. This is my new locale for my auto needs. Filled my washer fluid for free! Definitely 5*****
Had a bad valve stem. Called them and was told to come by. I wasnt sure if Id make it in time before they closed. I got there right before 7pm and they told me instead of dropping the car off, theyd just fix it then and there! Which they promptly did. It took longer to pay for the repair thsn the acctual work, but its nice to see this since most other places ask you to drip it off cause theyre booked and will get to it some vague time in the future. 5 stars, cant get much better service than that!
My car had a flat a couple miles down the road from this Tires Plus. I changed it with the spare donut, and brought it in at around 9 AM. I had to be at work quickly, so I just brought the flat tire in on the rim. The agent at the front was very nice and said they would take care of it. I told them I would be back around four PM. They said they would call if there was anything to discuss, I never got a phone call. When I returned after four PM, they hadnt even looked at my tire yet. Apparently they forgot about it. Moreover, I had friends who live overseas driving through town staying at my house that night, and my drive home from work was over one hour. I could not drive home on the donut. Off the bat the sales agent (different from the morning agent who had gone home) said they couldnt possibly do anything until after 7 PM because they were so busy. After I described my situation and asking why they hadnt touched it yet, the guy whent and personally pulled the tire off the rim in the matter of a few minutes, showed me the damage, and I purchased a new tire. He put the new tire on even faster, in a couple of minutes. He acted very kind and apologetic about it. But then he brought the tire into the lobby and said here you go. I asked if they could just pop it back on the car real quick, the guy said he couldnt possibly get one of his guys to put it on for over an hour from then. I looked out there and saw a couple empty bays with no cars. It would have taken them less than two minutes I bet to put my car on the jack, impact driver the nuts off, new tire on, impact driver them back on. Instead, I had to go out in the parking lot and use my little makeshift jack that comes with my car and jack it up again, and use the little breaker wrench to do the job, in my khakis and polo. I couldnt believe the irony of doing that right outside of a tire store. Anyhow I couldnt believe that they wouldnt finish the job and just put the tire on my car, like they said they would in the morning.
They took good care of us and are very reasonably and comparably priced!
This place is horrible. They did an oil change and my car started leaking oil. I tried to take my car back and they said they are too busy and I would have to leave the car there for several days. I called coorporate just to get them to pay attention to my issue. It took corporate 1 week just to contact me. Their response was to drop my car off at 7am and they would have it ready for me the same day. I needed the car to go out of town for Christmas. They failed to commit to the service time and did not care about their customers problem with the car or the schedule I had committed to my family. This was a total disappointment. coorporate just ignored all of my calls and emails after this.
You had one job. Change my oil. I had a coupon for $19.99..yes you changed the oil and funny how you charged $49.99 instead but it gets better. Thanks for the over filling of the oil in my car as you have blown my oil seals.
I was in the Walmart parking not when i noticed that I had a flat. With no experience in how to change a tire and no clue where to head to put air in my tire, I called ahead and they told me they could put air in my tire. Once I was able to get to Tires Plus, Anthony was kind enough to start putting air in my front tire when he noticed it was leaking air. He was kind enough to change my tire with the spare to get me on my way home. Im forever thankful for their help and for staying past their work time (they closed at 7 p.m. that day) Although once I made it home the same front tire that had been changed out went flat again (for being replaced incorrectly) I still appreciate Anthonys help.
I needed 4 new tires for my car. I went into Tires Plus after visiting a local competitor to compare prices. Tires Plus beat them right off the bat and even beat Wal-Mart prices for the same exact tire. The front desk staff (Sean) was very helpful in giving me quotes on tire prices and what would be best for my vehicle.I made an appointment to get them changed with no issues.Would I visit again? Yes. They will match tire prices even up to 30 days after..and give you back double the difference. If you make an appointment, your tires will be done in an hour they said they will even let you time them.
Terrible experience! I hate to think they saw a couple women coming & thought to take advantage. I had them replace 2 tires the first part of March due to pot holes! They told me at the time the right control arm needed to be replaced & the cost. This is my granddaughters car & she didnt have that much more money. She figured between some overtime & her tax return she could have the money saved by the end of April, 1st of May. The salesman said to me that we should be ok for 6 months to a year. Roll forward 60 days & she made the appointment & took the car in. They tell us we need 2 more new tires to replace the 2 we bought March 8th. That those 2 are shredded because we didnt have the control arm replaced. They had no GOOD explanation for telling me wed be ok 6 month to a year!
Went to Tires Plus to see about a front-end alignment problem where it looked like my camber was off causing uneven wear on the curb-side part of the tread on my front tires. They put my car on the alignment machine, and came back later telling me theyd have to replace the lower ball joints in order to adjust the camber which their machine said was off by quite a bit. I also had them do a $25 end-to-end inspection of my vehicle, so they told me my brakes needed done, and that would involve new pads front and rear, and new discs for the rear too. In total, they wanted to do $1200 worth of work on my car. Since this is a large amount of money for me, I decided to take their service recommendations, and shop around some other places in Olathe. I called Brets, Anderson Auto, and The Livery Stable Automotive. The only one who wanted to even talk prices with me over the phone was Bruce at Livery Stable. I decided to take my car to Livery Stable since their hourly rate was a little less than Tires Plus, and they didnt look like crooks. Boy am I glad I went there! Bruce put my car on his alignment machine, and discovered the camber was fine. Caster was off, but was off evenly on both sides so it didnt need adjusted. Toe was off, so he fixed that. He did my brakes, and discovered the front rotors were warped and needed replaced (yet Tires Plus only wanted to replace the rear?). He told me my tires were junk and I should replace them (its true, they were very worn). All in all, I spent a little bit more than $1200 at Livery Stable, but I got a heck of a lot more for my money (alignment fixed, new brake pads and rotors, new tires, oil change, repaired a leaky power steering hose), and MUCH better and trustworthy service, than Tires Plus. Given this experience, I highly recommend that you avoid Tires Plus. They are run by a bunch of inexperienced kids. If you need work done on your car, go see Bruce at The Livery Stable, seriously. You wont regret it.
I took my car there after having problems with the battery. I drove up 5 minutes after they closed expecting to drop off my car until they could look at it the next day. However, I was invited inside and the manager assured me they would jump start my car to put it inside overnight so it would be safe. I left and 5 minutes later they called and said they had fixed my car and at no charge because something was loose on my battery and to turn around and come pick it up, that night! When I got back I repeatedly thanked them and the mechanics response was its all about you, the customer. What a great experience, especially since some car repair companies can be less than honest. I will definitely return here for service!
Prompt and courteous service. Professional techs.
Always helpful and trustworthy. They took great care of my car!
Great service ..! Had new tires installed with no problems..!
These guys do a good job and are trustworthy.
Everytime Im here the guys are awesome and on their game. I wont take my car anywhere else.
One month ago yesterday, I took my truck to the Tires Plus on Santa Fe and Blackbob in Olathe KS to have a simple front end alignment done. The reason I went there to begin with was because it was after 3pm when I finished replacing my front differential(yes Im an automotive technician) and couldnt use the alignment rack at work because work was closed. They charged me almost $70 for a front end alignment which is a fair price.During the process of aligning my truck, they rounded one of the passenger side adjustable upper control arm bolts. Instead of putting together a repair estimate, they more or less told me Sorry about your luck. Bring it back to us after replacing the bolt and well fix the alignment. The next morning I drove out to Kansas City and bought several replacement bolts. I took it back to Tires Plus immediately after getting the bolts. They charged me an additional $50 to replace that bolt that THEY rounded off the day before. They also recommended about $500 worth of work which had all been done already by me and argued that I must be mistaken about when the work was done because the recommendations were legit.Heres the kicker... They left my passenger side upper control arm adjustable bolts loose during the alignment. Thinking that I was good to go, I immediately hit the road headed for California.I drove approximately 3700 miles and started hearing a popping noise coming from the front end. I brought it into my shop and thats when I discovered the loose bolts. I tightened everything for the time being. The next day, yesterday, I put it on the alignment rack up at my work. The picture above is what my alignment looked like exactly one month after Tires Plus aligned my truck. Now I am going to have to replace both the adjustable bolts in the passenger upper control arm and realign my truck again because the new bolt that Tires Plus installed is now rounded off again from being left loose.Moral of the story... DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO TIRES PLUS. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND WILL ONLY CAUSE YOU MORE NEW PROBLEMS.Thanks for reading.
Francis was of great help in getting my lug nut issue resolved.
I had just purchased a 2006 Nissan Altima, and I knew that the air conditioner had problems. When I took it in, I wasnt surprised when they told me that they had to change several parts, including the compressor, and that it would cost $1100 to fix. Since I had purchased the car figuring that I would spend about that much, I went ahead with the repair. They performed the repair, and initially the air conditioner worked. Unfortunately, over the course of the next few days, it quit working. I called them up, and they readily scheduled me to get it fixed right. As it turns out, they got a bad supply of compressors, which caused a much more lengthy repair process. They were very professional and apologetic about the delays, and in the end they replaced the entire air-conditioning system with brand-new parts, at no additional charge to me. In addition, they compensated me for the inconvenience with several free future oil changes. Any repair shop can get bad parts from a supplier on occasion, but they were very good about taking care of me when it happened.
Went for alignment left and tires began shaking! When we took it back they said, oh your tires need balanced thatll be another $60 dollarsWill not use them again
Good service as always!
Very friendly, quick and reasonably priced. They seem honest
Something was taken from a compartment my car. Disappointingly rude.
Good people good value very honest great
Amazing customer service!!! Francis is so friendly and very good with kids!!
Francis was the one that took care of us. He was awesome!.. did our oil and then informed its of our trucks need for an alignment. We knew this already was coming. He wanted to know if we wanted them to do it while it was up.I told him we didnt really have the amount to get that done today and would have to come back and do it another day when we were up here again. (we live 100 miles away)He looked at me and said what can I do to make it work? Then he gave a great reduction that worked well for us .Showed us where we could wait and was read very friendly to everyone that came in.We will for sure go out of our way to come back here when needed and hope Francis is always here to greet us .Good job guys!
Good service. Good communication about your vehicle. Very friendly.
I was quoted 1334.00 for 2 new breaks, rooters, and calipers for my front end. I was informed that even though my parts were under warranty I would not be allowed to bring them in for use. I ended up having to drive over 200 miles back home to have it looked at. Hmmmm looks like my calipers were in perfect working order as were my rooters, with 40-50% brakes left. Please help me understand how this company can rip people off????
Great prices and friendly service!
Tires plus is always reliable with great service. We get our tires here plus oil changes or other services if needed.
Very professional. Great service! Ill go back there.
Good to get your tire patched here. Price wise I still prefer to purchase my tires on the internet.
Best shop for good service and fair prices
Very friendly and helpful. Got me in and out in 90 minutes on a Saturday morning.
Didnt replace old leaky valve stems even though they charged me for it. Had to go back.
Great and honest
Always a good place for automotive
Yea this place is fair in pricing with tires and such, but my car always start having “battery problems” about 4 days later everytime I go there. Weird coincidence don’t you think?
Always have great customer service
$800+ to repair both front brakes on an F350.
