Nicest guy ever. Reasonably priced and honest.

We needed an immediate mechanic and thankfully Ed at Smethers was our saving grace. He was able to get our van in and fixed in 6 hours! He guided us in assuring us the work we did need and what we didnt need. He didnt play games and was very honest and professional. We are happy to have found ourself a new mechanic!

Called close to 8 a.m.,,,advised I needed an oil change. Mr. Smethers advised to bring in right in they had time. I arrived in about 10-15 minutes. They took the car right in. Check all the levels, & tire pressure, completed the oil change. I had taken a book with me. Dont think I read 20 pages. Advised everything looked good. Very polite, & courteous. Did not get treated like a silly female. Very pleased with service. Thank you Smethers Auto.

These guys are fair, honest, highly competent and a pleasure to deal with. Their competition can only wish they were this good. They are home town people that have been in business here in Olathe for quite a while now. If your last mechanic tried to sell you off- brand parts for a problem you didnt have, try these guys.

Im not one that writes reviews often. Only when service or items are extremely bad or good. Well, Smethers Auto is beyond good. These guys, Ed and Steve are exceptional. Knowledgeable, cordial, reasonable, and best of all, honest. Couldnt ask for anything more.Theyre rock star auto mechanics.

Cant speak highly enough Smethers. Would highly recommend! Another place tried to charge me $800+ for a bad Heater Core leaking into my passenger floorboard. Smethers fixed a faulty drain hose for $50. Problem solved. Thank you for the honesty. It nice to have a auto repair shop I can count on for honest and reasonable priced repairs.

Honest mechanics here, not something you hear often but it is true! never try to get you to do anything you dont need, have used this place on and off for years and always get the same great service!

I paid $4300 for an engine that only lasted 6 months. Ed Smethers would not honor his one year warranty. Id been a regular customer for 5 years. Received no respect.
