My husband took our mower in to be repaired thats been over 2 months ago. havent heard anything from them and cant get in touch with them on the phone. going up there later today. will be reviewing them again.well I tried to call several times but it would ring a few times then like someone picked up and hung it back up. I changed my schedule and drove up there about 230 and guess what yep closed for the weekend. opening on Tuesday.

I was told 1.5-2 weeks repair time on a Honda push mower.3 weeks in and no update.I had to call to be told itd b a couple more days.I called a couple of days later, they started getting an attitude with me about needing to be patient.Another week goes by and Im told one more day. I call the next day. Two more days...This process repeated several times, including LONG hold times.I call up there angry that its taken so long, and they get an even worse attitude with me. I go to pick up the mower and they refuse my credit card saying they think I will cancel the charge. They refuse to take anything but cash.So after more than a month of inconvenience, my lawns out of control, as a fault on their end, they want to inconvenience me further by making me go to the bank to get cash. I have no idea if the mower will even work at this point, and if I pay cash, I have no recourse.I will not give them a dime, and would rather go buy a new mower than support their very terrible business practices.I, honestly, wouldnt be upset if someone called me and gave me an honest estimation close to when I was told, originally, itd be ready.Theyre liars and dont deserve further business.

Dirnda and Mike have always been awesome and working with me on repairs and new purchases they have always been great to me and my business I highly recommend A-1 lawnmower shop

Very busy at the time I arrived. They worked well with each customer. My first visit to A-1, Impressed with their operations. Really good feel for A-1. Didnt realize the massive inventory of parts and supplies. All employees were very knowledgeable within the trade; they offered help in getting my mower from my vehicle to their shop. Thats what many of us miss about shops--good quality service.

My grandmother took her lawn mower over a month ago for a leaky spark plug. It’s still there today not fixed properly.

Its a candy shop for a chainsaw swinging climber like myself! Carry lots of parts on hand. Lots of knowledge on new stuff as well as the old stuff. They now stock a lot more variety of ropes, beaners, hand saws and all the other fun stuff you need.

An angry old Mom & Pop store. Check online before buying their replacement parts. They charged me more than double for a Sthl OEM sprocket.

Bought a brand new Stihl chainsaw here after the May 25th storms felled some trees on my property. Had some issues with getting the chainsaw to stay on, and was told it was “probably user error” and that I needed to “come in for a lesson”. Said “lesson” was shown where the on switch was, and the gas was. I said “Thanks. Is that your lesson?” 😂 They likely fine tuned it- it was in the shop twice the first week now runs like a champ. Although their customer service is a little different, I’ll be back- I’ll always support the local family run businesses like this.

I brought my mower in was told it would be 3-4 weeks before it would be ready..... called to check on it after 4 weeks was told it would be 4 more weeks before it was ready. No apologies, no call to let me know how backed up they were. Terrible customer service. Never again.

Not trying to grind an ax, I just want people to understand what to expect. I took my riding lawnmower there for service. I was told it would be 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and went, four weeks came and went, after 6 weeks I started calling and asking whats the delay. I was told they were waiting on parts and needed help on a service. After 3 months it was done. I tried to explain the inconvenience, but all that was done was Im sorry. Hopefully my mower runs like a rocket, but just allow much greater time than you expect, or an attempt to make the customer feel valued.

If your looking for workmanship on lawnmowers and chainsaws, this is the place to go! They offer arborist safety equipment as well as saws and mowers. The owner of the store is always on site and I spend at least an hour in their getting advice and tips and tricks of the trade. Once again, thank you very much. Idk what I would have done without your advice.

I went in to buy a 1998 tecumsah carburetor for a push mower they charged me 75 dollars & I looked on amazon found it priced for 14 dollars 25 after shipping they ripped me off & it didn’t even come with a gasket to mount it.. shop on line there gonna stick it to you.. I believe in supporting small business but this is robbery..

Best little locally owned mom and pop lawnmower shop around. They had the parts no one else had, super nice, super knowledgeable. Ive found my new local parts supplier. They also have a huge selection of climbing gear.

I came here to buy a part, which they didnt have, but instead of having me order or turning me away, they actually helped me with some advice (for free) that worked to fix the problem. This is the place to buy from. They stock lots of commercial equipment. Not lowes or home depot consumer equipment. Lots of arborist equipment. There the only people I allow to work on my saws. Dont listen to any bad comments on here. I have many purchases from them and service not had a bad experience.

I called to see how much it would cost to have the oil pump replaced on my chainsaw. They quoted me about $50. When I took the saw in they told me that was just for the part, and the labor would be another $50 to $75! I got it done at another shop for about what they were going to charge for labor. Seems pretty shady.

They were open, and they had what I needed. Have a yard machine with a B&S 6.5HP thats a decade old. Started by calling Home De-pot

Great service though right now they are so busy so right now the wait would be about 4 weeks.

Took my blower in for a new primer bulb. They said repair would be $120. I elected not to have it fixed. Called another shop and I could buy a new primer bulb for $4. Took me 15 minutes to install the new primer bulb. I will say they were nice when they helped me, but I feel like they tried to over charge me for the repair.

Took a mower in for repair on 8/24, advised them of oil leak and the need to replace a gasket, the guy who took the information knew exactly what I was talking about and advised it would take 7-10 days. Checked in 3 weeks later, was on the list parts were just ordered would be another week or so, holiday pushed them back. Got call 10/24, mower was ready. I dont mind paying more for better service, part of that is managing expectations. I wont spend another dime there. They held my mower hostage knowing well they couldnt deliver. Done!

Ive had excellent experiences on numerous occasions will repairing and replacing my chainsaw, bars, and blades. Theyre fast knowledgeable and efficient.

The owners are topnotch in there field and if they cant take care of you, most likely no one can ...........If your a professional and want professional service this is the place to go..I and the company I work for have been doing business here for over 10 years and have not been disappointed once in there customer service. .......if you have had a problem with them most likely its you.

Honestly its probably the worst customer service Ive seen in a long time Ive been in customer service for 20 years and not only cuz I get satisfied I walked outside Ill go somewhere else and then replies will maybe you should because I had a long parts list and they didnt want to look it up and spend the time to do so. that was already my third time to be in there buying stuff, they told me theyd call me back when they got my parts in, never called and when I got up there they had them and with a very bad attitude . Ill never go back even if that was the only place that carried my parts and thank God its not

I was actually referred to A1 Lawn Mower Shop by another mower repair shop. I needed a carburetor kit to complete a mower repair I was working on. A1 was the only business where I could locate the part. Customer service took cafe of me.
