I love it because they have all the natural things. And I always helpful about wanting to help you. If they dont have it they always tell you when they will have it. And very respectful employeesthat are well mannered
Im a long time shopper here. It is always clean and well staffed. There is always help if you have a question. The juice bar/deli/ bakery items are fantastic. There is also usually a great soup and salad bar, but ya know, covid. I especially enjoy the local produce and meat.
My daughter and I happened upon this looking for a book store, so take that in consideration. While we did buy a few veggies we were a little underwhelmed with the choices of meats and variety of produce, a lot of vitamins and not much food. Well be taking the drive to Sprouts from now on.
Great people to help you find the things you want and great checking out of the store they got boxes and bags for youre groceries.
Called to inquire about a product we were wanting to buy . The person on the phone was very short and rude. Very disappointed because we have bought from this place many yrs.I would highly recommend shopping at Natural Grocers - off 89th street in Oklahoma city!! Way better and very nice and patient.
Great selection of oils, soaps, and the best salad bar. Great pet care area.
My favorite place to eat and drink healthy.Try the beet and green apple drink.I had sweet and sour which I really like.
Green Acres Market sells organic food, supplements, succulents, and have a deli with lunch bar. Try the pot pies, they are yummy! Nice clean store, friendly people, would recommend it for all things you may need.
Its like family there. They are each and everyone so kind and so helpful!!! and as I said its just like family. Not to mention great prices on vitamins!!!
This is the best place to buy all your difficult to find supplements. They have a very knowledgeable staff on site to assist their customers. My personal physician introduced me to this place years ago.
It was my first time, I appreciated the help and the friendliness. I will be back. Thank you.
Very helpful and knowledgeable to help find what you need.
Green acres market is a good health food and supplement store. They have a huge selection of supplements, health and beauty aids, food, cleaning supplies, just about anything you are in need of.
Friendly people and good service especially in Spanish
Best place for your CBD needs
Nice place to get stuff thats hard to find elsewhere ... Gluten free / organic... Etc
Electric carts, wide isles, great supplement selection, knowledgeable employees, senior discout on Tuesdays, and rewards club.
Great well stocked store. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
I love this place. Very knowledgeable staff.
A great facility at an affordable price. The staff are professional and friendly.
Wonderful store always clean & friendly staff Bo is at the register is really nice and another lady. They have a big variety of vegan options. I fill up my jugs of delicious drinking water. Big selection of vitamins and supplements.
I found what I was looking for, and got checked out right away. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Just in OKC on a business trip has a large selection of Healthy products 👌🏽
Best grocery store in Oklahoma! All options are vegan and 100% plant based! Very good customer service as well!
Good service clean store
I really like this health food store. They are located just off I-240 and Pennsylvania, behind Hooters and Pier 88. The store is large and very clean. Near the entrance and deli, there are rows of supplements from well known-brands such as Solgar, NOW, Doctors Best and more at reasonable prices. You can also find fresh organic produce in their supermarket. I like to buy Spelt flour, organinc corn meal here. You can even find concetrated bottles od Elderberry syrup. Its the one place locally that Ive been able to find Organic Indias Tulsi Sleep Tea (which tends ot go very vast) and Natures Way zinc losenges. I finally found my Moms Bioastin joint support, so I dont have to go across town to get it. They also sell Kalona Whole milk which is one of my favorite organic milk brands that still has the cream in it when you buy. Ive also seen organic rice noodles, Braggs organic amino acid soy sauce substitutes. Theres quite a number of health food brands that are in this store that you might have seen on Vitacost or Thrive Market that you can pick up locally. They also have a section for essential oils, soaps, etc. Ive seen in their small accessory baskets small empty cream bottles, dispensers, roll on dispensers if you choose to make your own deodorant. So theres a nice variety of health food brands as well as products you can look around and choose from. At the moment, theyre still requiring patrons to where masks, but the customer service at this store is fantastic. The staff is always very helpful. You can also get a rewards card with them and rack up points. So if you shop at the end of the month, you should be able to get $5 off your purchase. I dont know if they still do senior citizen hours at 9am in the morning. I havent checked lately, but I do see seniors shopping here often. Great, family owned health store and supermarket.
Dig the chill atmosphere and always have monthly specials that are cheaper than the others in the area. Very convenient location. Green Acres get ya some✌️
I just talked to them over the phone for some stuff I need sweetest ladies in the world
I love this place and I love the people that work in it. Everyone is always very helpful. They have a great selection of vitamins and supplements and health food that I cant find anywhere else. Store is always clean and well stocked. This is my favorite place to get healthy stuff. Dont be afraid to talk to the staff and ask them questions they are always happy to help and very knowledgeable.
Very nice health store. Clerk very helpful
Great vitamin selection.
The people here are so friendly. If this place was a cult, Id probably join. Its expensive though
Kombucha is the best.
It’s a blessing to come into Green Acres, almost every day! Talking to Miss Jo and Miss Bo, about the Bible, it’s always a marvelous time! The prices can be quite high for me, but some things are just right. I usually get organic bananas for 0.79 cents a pound and I also love getting the grains (oatmeal, raisins, rice, ect.) from the well priced dispenser’s!
Didnt have some of the vitamins I needed.
A good variety of items
Great costumer service
This store seems a little out of place in its current location on I240. Its a local, specialty, health food store with a large selection of items. I follow a reduced sugar diet and am able to locate many alternatives here. Adorable inside with cute plants and succulents. They have a friendly staff. Theres a neat rewards system. However, some of the items that you can also find in larger, bulk stores are a bit higher priced here, which is understandable.
Excellent health store
My entire company once shopped at Green acres until they decided to limit the rights of their customers by banning legal gun owners from carrying their personal self defense firearms inside the store. After about a year of shopping elsewhere Green acres removed their signs and firearms where allowed in. As a collective we started to frequent Green acres but recently they have fallen back into their restrictive policy of banning personal defense weapons. My company employs about twenty people and while this policy is in place we will not be spending our hard earned money with a company that seeks to limit our ability to defend ourselves in an increasingly more violent society. While I realize that twenty people will not make or break a business I hope that they realize we are not the only ones that feel this way. Legal gun owners are no danger to Green acres and would fully support signs telling everyone that illegal guns are not allowed in the shop. Unfortunately for Green acres only us legal gun owners follow the rules despite the fact that we disagree with them.
Well this is first time visiting this establishment and I must day that I am very happy that I stopped in this morning. As I walked in the door I looked to the right and said I do not need a basket so I kept walking big mistake and I already know how I am. I was looking at the already prepared meals that they had and I was trying to figure out what type of meat it was in there and the lady at the Deli department was kind enough to move to the end of the counter and tell about those meals and tell me there was more on the other side that may not pork in them. Then I moved do to the produce area and I found a huge mango and I was like I am getting this cutting it up, mixing it with my pineapples for my after workout pick me up. Then I found some water with the cutest bottle so absolutely had to buy that just for the bottle of course. Finally made it to what I went in there for my vegan butter yes! As I was walking through the store had a.couple of the workers ask me if I need any help it was great. Indulged in some aged white cheddar skinny pop which is not bad per se but I will eat the whole bag in one sitting but dont judge me its skinny pop.oh yeah did yall know pickle juice helps with muscle cramps? Didnt know until today. Now let me tell you the front of the store took me by surprise you know how these stores have all this junk food? Nope not this store I was in heaven all kinds of beef sticks and jerky from turkey, chicken, venison and of course i got venison that is a must and one of them had a coupon on it for a $1off so I got 2 for $3 and I had a great cashier named Keagan or Keanan sorry.
Bathrooms are clean and smell very good. Health speakers come in to do occasional presentations on whole body wellness for anyone moving towards the natural cause. Only reason for 4 stars is because GreenAcres sadly participates in daily plastic bag usage.
I have been shopping at GreenAcres Market in South Oklahoma City for a couple of years and really appreciate how knowledgeable, kind and helpful the associates have always been. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience when it comes to customer service. Though I will admit, however, that I have an addiction to the spinach dip from their deli, it is so good!
I love this store, especially post-remodel. They should really be allowed to take those old reviews down because this is a completely new place. Deli, salad bar, and prepared foods are amazing. Try their chicken pot pie; you wont regret it. Produce is always fresh with a great offering from local vendors. Locally roasted coffee so you know its super fresh. They even sell the best pet food here cheaper than at my vets office. Ive always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. This is one of the only places I shop. I really love it that much.
This is a great Supermarket with very knowledgeable people. I enjoy all the wisdom the workers have when it comes to vitamins and other specific dietary needs.
This is our familys new favorite place to grocery shop. The staff is kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Selection and prices are very reasonable. Thank you, Green Acres team! We appreciate all you do so very much.
Good
Ive been customer for a very long time, when it was the Health Food Center. When Green Acres took over, they brought in a great deli and remodeled the store very nicely. There is a greater selection of everything. The staff is always courteous. I like using their rewards program to get $5 off my total bill.
I love walking in and you are hit with a tasty aray of spices and dried fruits. The people who work here are amazing and very informative. Prices are great and so is the food. Its great to have a place that sells stuff you cant find anywhere else.i definitely suggest this place to my friends and family all the time.
Love shopping here! The employees are always very kind and helpful. An employee, Tyler, has graciously assisted me many times. The best part is the smiles that go all around!
Great customer service. Great selection. The store is usually clean, well lit, and organized. The prices r a little high.
Ive been a customer since they were the Health Food Store. Always have great service, friendly staff and helpful when you need it.The salad bar and deli are fantastic.Best part is you earn discounts as you purchase things. I cant tell you how much money I have saved by shopping here.
Great store. Would like to see an expanded fresh produce section. The prices for meats is better than other whole food type stores. People are very helpful and knowledgable. They have a points program that is good.
I love this store. If youre a health nut or just like being healthy in general then this is the best place to go in okc. The people there are so nice.
Love this place. The only health store I have found that sell herbs and flour, grains, granola, beans in bins by the pound. Love that selection but their supplements beat that by a long shot. Tons of vitamins and supplements. I would say that this store stands up to the health food store name. Probably my favorite in Oklahoma city and I have been trying a lot of health food stores lately.
I was so very impressed with the new look and content of the store. The produce was fantastic, all of the employees that I met and talked to seemed very happy, so Im not sure what the other reviewers were talking about. They have a phenomenal selection of nutritional supplements and the employee that helped me was very knowledgeable about the different brands and products. The juice bar, deli and the salad bar are all exceptional compared to other stores in the area.
Lot of bad reviews. I think its cool very convenient. Friendly staff. I like all the vendors they have on saturdays and the prices for some stuff is high but if you compare the distance to convenience kinda equals out. They are remodeling their store now making it better
Fun variety of organic produce, vitamins and supplements plus a large selection of other items. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for helping me!!! The people are so sweet!!!
I dont do all my shopping here. They do have quite a nice variety if youre eating Paleo or Whole30. Usually someone with samples to try. I was buying certain items on Amazon...grain free pancake mixes, cookie mixes, fake rice... but they sell those items here for comparable prices. You can also by loose flours, grains, etc.Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Store is always super clean. Great job!
Very helpful, good advice. Love the selection.
I really appreciate that theyre three services in one: supplements store, grocery store, and deli. I frequently go here to do shopping on my lunch. I find that the employees are very nice, but the supplements employees are a little lacking on friendly customer service and often shorthanded. All of the other departments are just fine.
The store is much better and easier to navigate after the remodel/new store name. The salad bar is delicious! Overall they have a great selection of products and their produce seems a lot fresher than a lot of other stores in the metro. Employees are knowledgeable and friendly.
I found whatI couldnt find at any other stores. The employees were very nice and helpful
I have shopped here for years..Until recently Ive had no issues. The staff, especially Joe and Robob are always so friendly, and knowledgeable...Robob is amazing, and everything she has recommended in regards to skincare, oils and supplements have been spot on. I get complinents on my skin, all the time.. When I did have an issue, they were very quick to address it, and alologized profusely..
Ordered Holiday Dinner from here and it was amazing! Loved the turkey seasoning! Dressing was great and the mash potatoes were garlic goodness! I really likes the brussel sprouts, but I think they would have been better cut in half. Will definately come back and shop here more often!
I love this store!!! Plus they have a beauty expert that will match foundations and cosmetics to clients interested in going natural. And the skincare/cosmetics lines are amazing!
I drive far just to come here. Its easy to spend 2 hours looking for vitamins and checking out new stuff.
I have been coming to this store for a long time and have really tried to like it. Two star only because they carry local honey. However EVERY time I go to this store there is some kind of issue. The amount of times things are rang up incorrectly is amazing, I have had to walk in many times for refunds. If you have to go in for a refund some cashiers seem very annoyed. I believe joe is her name, I have never had issues when checking out with her. Today my cashier was coughing her head off all over my produce and no hand sanitizer in sight. Mind you I had my small baby with me and the transaction for about 20 items took near 15minutes. Maybe educating employees on telling the difference between a pear and plum is a good place to start. Also if you are sick, don’t work, especially at a health food store. Natural grocers is way cheaper and I know things will be rang up correctly.
Love the selection of GF foods and the friendly staff!!!! This store has GF items no one else has! Lots of fun things to try! I love their store card also, it saves you $ as long as you scan it each time you shop!
Store has a pretty good selection...but seldom has what I am looking for so I have to go to a store in Norman. Prices are really high here too.
I had a spicy mushroom soup that hit the spot. Greenacres (the new owners of this local chain) makes it themselves. Other than the corn starch used for thickening, it was all whole foods with a red wine base.I also had a green drink with apple, broccoli, celery, ginger, kale, lemon, and parsley. The vegetable juices are made fresh with a juicer. I watched all the veggies come out of the fridge and into the juicer. It hit the spot.Young people might be turned off as this doesnt have the yuppie grunge feel of a wholefoods market, but give it a chance. I grew up in Florida in the late 70s and 80s and this reminds me very much of the health food stores from when I was a kid.I was here in the early afternoon so the patrons were mostly senior. The staff was a mix ; all were very friendly.
Incredible selection of homeopathic remedies and vitamins. Friendly and helpful staff. Almost always find what I need.
When I saw the sign in store that advertises 1.5L of Essentia PH water for 1.99 I took one bottle to the cashier while waiting for my brother to get other 9 more to pay for all 10. The old cashier took away the ad sign at the stand and allowed me to buy just one saying because there is only one at the check out: THIS IS TRULY A DISHONEST AND FRAUDULENT WAY TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. WE SHALL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DAMN PLACE ANYMORE. This is definitely not the Oklahoma way to do business !
Great store and folks. Come shop and get smoooothies.
Super centers are fading out the kettle cooked brand. My friends and I love the kettle cooked jalopaloe chips. We traveled across town because I knew we could find them here. Guess what. Natural grocers offers the jalopeno flavor in both organic. Thanks for offering an organic option. Much love.
Been shopping here for over a year. This time when I went back to take a vitamin that was bought 3 days ago unopened would not allow me to even exchange it. I trashed the unopened vitamin in front of them and The sales rep named Boe shouted at the top of her voice, thank you for shopping with us. So much for being a loyal customer. Will never return back to this establishment for sure.
I normally come here a few times a month, not after the from what happened.I was ready to checkout, ahead of me was a pregnant woman with a child ready to pay for a small meal for herself and the child of a small salad each and a couple of cookies and drinks. The clerk told her they dont take food stamps embarrassed, she said but I called before to come and I was told I could they called over a supervisor, then a manager. They desided they were keeping the meals. There was a line of people looking and feeling sorry and just as embarrassed as she did. To my understanding this is a situation to be left to the discretion of a manager, to have common sense and a heart but no, they all desided to trash the meal. I told the cashier i was going to take care of it, and I did so someone wouldnt have to go hungry.Im not going back to Green Acres Market for such a display. I hope anyone who finds this agrees that what theyve done isnt right and shouldnt be condoned.
I absolutely love this store! I might only go in there once a month, but its definately well worth it!! This is the only health food store that I can find that not only carries THE STUFF that i get, but are the only store that actually knew what i was talking about when I asked if they sold it. Im sure I called every health food store in the phone book and this place was the only place that had the stuff that I needed... Honestly, im thankful out of every store that i called this is the store that ended up selling the stuff i needed..... Overall its a pretty good store, I have never had any problems. They seem to have wonderful customer service when i go in there!! This is not Corey... This is his wife
They have a lot better selection than the store down the street but that comes at a ~30% increase in price.
Nice selection and friendly service. We went for a gluten free festival and it was great knowing they had so many options.
The selection is pretty much trash and extremely over priced. Most products they carry can be found at other stores for a lot less. The customer service really blows! With other natural food stores finally opening these guys need to get it together in a hurry or they will be out of business fast.
Not the most budget friendly, but great selection of essential oils, supplements, specialty food items, organic produce, and grass fed meats.
Their customer service is always top notch! Their staff is very knowledgeable and I love their recent improvements.
Great selection on healthy food and large vitamin/supplement area
Love that I can get organic food in my neighborhood without having to drive 10plus miles.
I love this store. Easy to shop, helpful staff, great selection of what I need.
They have phenibut so 5 stars
Great variety, amazingly helpful staff, and consistently available product lines. Fair prices (you get what you pay for) and with the recent remodel, the stores looking better than ever!
Great selection of supplements and food! Very friendly and helpful employees!
Expensive
Really great service, clean bathrroms, food is delicious. Love the place!
Love this place!! Only thing missing is its own meat butcher.
#racism is alive and well at Green Acres Health Food store in okc Oklahoma-The employees follow around any person of color and ask them if theyre buying anything & if not they ask them to keave #bigotry
Worst customer service everrrrr. Woman was so rude when I asked a simple question of a product when I decided I didnt want her rude service I left and she yelled fine with me they really dont know much of the products they sell and worst of all they dont care to help you
Bad customer service. Their pricing changes from day to day and they do not honor sale prices even when it was rung up on sale literally the day before and they still had the sale sign up. Their barcoding system is misleading and messes up at the register. You think youre getting a deal and it turns out the price is much higher than the advertised ticket. It will be my absolute last resort in grocery shopping from now on.
Prices are a little high since they became Green Acres but they still have the best nutritional supplement selection in town.
