Great place to stop in and get groceries and small household items that you need at a great price. Smiling faces and they have sanitized station setup and I see a lot of people cleaning which is good. Still be safe and wear mask
Such helpful and friendly staff. I had a nosebleed just before I came in and that just sucks so I was grumpy, but several employees reached out and asked if I was okay and gave me tips on how to stop the bleeding. It was just really kind to check on me in that way and I’m thankful for their kindness! Plus the store itself is well kept and well run too.
I ordered almost $300 worth of groceries for delivery to my sons apartment today. Charles, the delivery driver, left them on the sidewalk of a busy street and at the wrong address and drove away!!!!!!! First of all, it said they would deliver to his front door. Second, there was NO CALL, NO TEXT, NO NOTHING saying he was there for delivery! If I had not checked my email and notified my son, I am sure the groceries would have just been stolen. I am extremely upset with this Walmart for contracting out to poor delivery services, even though the store employees are passing the buck. I have been calling this store and trying to speak to an employee...the phone has rung with no answer for 5 minutes and counting. Poor service. I will not use them for grocery delivery ever again! I will spend my money elsewhere.
DO NOT GET YOUR GROCERIES DELIVERED FROM HERE!! They really need to get a hold of that department!Tonight I had groceries set for 6-7 PM, I spent $167 dollars and tipped and got a notification that my groceries were here at 7, NO GROCERIES, checked my ring camera and nobody came by.So I called Walmart and they told me “there driver picked up my groceries and than clocked out, and I could call customer care and get a refund” did not offer to resend me groceries, did not say anything except call this other number and get a refund” AND last time I order groceries they didn’t have any drivers available so I didn’t receive my groceries until the next day.
Policy for loss prevention at this location is over the top. Red Bull, Locked up, wait for 3 people to find the correct key, nicotine, Locked, wait for 2 people to figure out how to open the case. Then the nicotine had to be placed into a locked box to walk 15 feet to the check out. All this is not the issue. It was the attitude that I received from several employees that I was interrupting their workflow by asking for access to the products I want to purchase. Loss prevention is a real financial impact, and I get it, perhaps employees that appreciate customers is too much to ask in this day and age.
Under NO federal or state law does it say you have to id all persons in a party to buy wine or beer. This is false information. Please, train your workers correctly (this is to the management because who ever is training these people arent doing their jobs correctly). It may be a Walmart policy and you need to state that. The fact i can buy wine with my daughter and grandmother present and i am the only one i.d., but when my friend buys himself beer after work (manual labor) and he cant buy it because 2 other people are with him is preposterous. You shouldnt be able to cherry pick when you enforce YOUR policy. We went to the liquor store and gave them our business.
Self checkout seems like the only option now. That’s not so bad as I don’t buy produce there, I get my decorative plastic fruit off Amazon instead. That said if you’re going to make us check ourselves out then turn the old checkout lanes into self checkout lanes and give us more space ffs. I used to spend about $100 a week there, sure they won’t notice my absence but I’ve stopped going due to this.
If I could give this location a zero I would. There is no excuse to have one lane open, during peak morning hours, for cash transactions and all of your other lanes for credit cards. Management logistics need improvement. The whole point of having express lanes is to.... Provide quicker service for those that have minimum items.
Excellent food! Creative, beautifully plated dishes served in generous portions. It was a fun, cool place! Definitely a new fave.Beef short ribs were amazing and tender! Try the Smores pie. Omg!
Kind of a dump neighborhood, being honest here, dont be surprised by the occasional panhandler, but to me the store itself is ok.Usually stocked up alright except later in the evening, but that can be said of every Walmart in town including the superstores. The staff is usually nice and helpful, you know how it is, every day and shift is different, but the folks who work here all seem pretty nice no matter when I go in. Ive been in some of the Neighborhood stores around town where this wasnt the case. This location is almost the same distance as the Belle Isle superstore location to me, but when I want to get in and out, Ill run here instead.
My absolute last resort for groceries. I hate this Walmart so much. I know the bar is already low for Walmart, but for this one in particular, the bar is breaking through the dilapidated floor. No hand baskets, youre doing great if you can even find a cart. I get that their staff is overworked and underpaid, but these employees are the worst of the worst. You are much better off driving 2.5 miles to the Belle Isle Supercenter. For that matter, youll have a shopping experience 20× better at either Aldi, WinCo, Traders, or Target. All are within a reasonable distance. Also, I feel like I have to force my way through a barrier of vagrants even to get into the front door. Not at all recommend.
Great experience in the pharmacy line!! Luis was kind and very helpful!!! After the awful day that I had, his kindness truly means so much!!
Had to wait in line so long the frozen food melted. not sure why they only have line for cash payments?
All the carts were gone from the entrance I used. I asked a clerk where the closest place to get one would be. She said “If there isn’t one up front, get one from the parking lot.” 🤨
They have fast, easy, awesome curbside pickup team. I recently discovered how confident & relaxing it can be to just place my order, pick an open time at my convenience and then let the Walmart Curbside Team handle the rest. You guys & girls are really appreciated!
Love the place as its cheap.
Enjoyed your wine selection. Frozen food section had plenty of sale items. Only, complaint was long lines for checkout.
Decent selection; they didn’t have any regular check outs open; all self serve. I don’t think that’s right; we should have the option to have someone check us out.
Epic but its tooooo big and the prices are high, understandable because of stock refueling, but why $50 for a mc lego set?
Horrendous customer service. The women working self-checkout on 8/28/21 in the evening treated my partner and I horribly. Utterly humiliating experience and will not be returning even though it’s my local store and I’ve been shopping here for years. It was the second time one of the women was inexcusably rude to me so there won’t be a third chance.
Love this store as long as they have 1-2 checkouts with REAL ppl ..none of that self checkout only cuz ppl my age 72 are NOT computer savvy
Repeatedly have come to this store BEFORE closing only to be told we are sorry we are closed. If you close at 10:30 let that be on your sign, not 11
Nice store. Clean. Wasnt busy.
Trusted, essential & stocked with most of the products I searched for.Only/mainly self check out, which can be convenient, although not for the majority of my shopping needs.
Horrible. Not one cashier. They herded everyone like cattle to self check out. I cant stand self check out. They make us do this job for them instead of hiring cashiers. The least they could do is give us 10% off since were working for them.
This place is going downhill every week. Memorial weekend. Every single automated checkout is cards only. No cash at all. They have 1 checker that allows cash there are around 15 people in line. Customer with 1 or 2 items are starting to argue with others with baskets. Its chaos and no management in sight. On top of that the guy collecting carts is smoking and talking on the phone as his pants fall down.
The people at Walmart when you ask them for help most times theyre snobby most times theyre not but I dont like feeling like a germ under a microscope I go in there I do my shopping I pay for my foods and I usually go out and make sure before I even pay the everything I got was running up but they stand over my shoulder and watch like Im trying to steal something I mean I understand they do their job dont get me wrong but please back up a little bit you kind of make me a little nervous plus I have my grandson with me and hes running me crazy already so Im a basket case I dont need somebody else there to make me even more worse than I was in the beginning
They are always out of stock on things I need. You can never find a basket to put your groceries in. The employees are very rude.Have made complaints to the managementNothing gets done.
Had everything I had on my list and a few extra finds. Personally prefer the neighborhood stores than the super stores. Was in and out in 28mins👏
Annie is a wonderful, friendly, & helpful manager! Our experience with her and the Grocery Delivery & Pickup department is that she goes above and beyond to help her customers. Thank you so much, Annie!
Only go to this Walmart early in the morning. As the day progresses, the clientele gets scrappy, then downright creepy. The produce is sometimes good, sometimes bad. The prices are great and every employee that I’ve encountered has been helpful and polite. That being said, they don’t enforce the mask rule, which puts everyone there at risk.
Man oh man I thought I would get a decent meal for for $4.23 I only got a chicken breast and a scoop of macaroni and cheese. Never again.
Great team with great service. Very well managed.
Its pretty crunchy but there arent many cheaper options nearby. Its at least better than the Homeland on Classen.
Didnt have any cashiers and people have baskets full of groceries and all they had with a checkout Lanes it was ridiculous the lines were long thats why they need to have cashiers cuz some people dont like to beg their groceries
I shop here often mostly because it’s right down the street from my home. Store is always clean it’s just never any shopping carts sometimes! Overall I love the employees Michelle & the other young lady were very very helpful & friendly:)
For the location its great but they should have put a super center their instead. So many people shop there and not enough check out lines its self check out and its very small, everyone is touching each other trying to get out or go to a check out lane which is crazy long wait times..I stood in line for 30 minutes because it was sooo busy. Little tip walmart should have made the check out lanes spead out little better instead of right next to each other like they are.
If you like lines that stretch half the store. This is your store.
I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET. THE SECURITY GUARD THAT WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF THE SELF-CHECK OUT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THE WAY HE TREATED A STRUGGLING DISABLED MAN. THE MAN ASKED FOR SOMEWHERE HE COULD SET HIS ITEMS DOWN SO HE COULD GO GET THE REMAINING FEW ITEMS HE HAD TO GET. THE SECURITY GUARD DIDNT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE THE MAN WITH ONE LEG SITTING IN A WHEELCHAIR IN FRONT OF HIM DROPPING SOME OF THE ITEMS OFF HIS LAP AND STRUGGLING TO PICK THEM UP. THE MAN CONTINUED TO ASK HIM IF HE COULD SET THEM BY THE BASKET THAT WAS SITTING THERE RIGHT BY HIM. THE SECURITY GUARD KIND OF SNAPPED AT HIM AND SAID, NO U CANT SET THEM THERE THATS FOR RETURNS ONLY! SO THE MAN CONTINUED THROUGH THE LINE AND SELF CHECKOUT AND WAS THEN GOING TO HAVE TO GO BACK AND GET HIS REMAINING ITEMS. THEN GO BACK THROUGH AGAIN. THE SECURITY GUARD DIDNT OFFER NO ASSISTANCE AT ALL. COULD HE HAVE NOT GOT HIM A LITTLE HANDLED BASKET OR SOMETHING. HE JUST TURNED AROUND AND CONTINUED FLIRTING WITH THE CHECK OUT GIRLS AND DIDNT EVEN CARE TO SAY ANYTHING OR FIND ANYONE TO HELP HIM. IT WAS SO RUDE AND NO WAY AT ALL TO TREAT A DISABLED ELDERLY MAN.
Dropped my wallet in the parking lot and they wont play back the cameras
It is decent, when they are not stocking at the same time ans people are shopping. no food when I went just snacks. everything was messy. literally went to frozen food and someone came out from back, and I saw two employees fighting. then there is never a person to man a register here. sometimes, people need interaction with someone, even if it is just to pay for groceries and talk to the cashier. terrible place to shop
This Walmart goes above and beyond for their customers. They are friendly and so kind. Best Walmart grocery store in the city
Love this location, plus there is always discounted baked goods! Yum!
Pros.Early am until 10 perfect go.The best laid back people. Clean and its very convenientCons.its pretty small average local
Easy place to shop. But may not have all the products your looking for.
Very clean and easy to navigate. Staff could look a little happier though.
No carts that rolled near the entrance, 1 person checking people out, had to do self checkout with 40+items including produce.
I went in to cash a check, they were friendly, courteous and I was out within 5 min. Time.
There are only one or two actual cashiers in the entire store. The items I need are rarely in stock, and the lines for customer service are always ridiculous.
Today pulling in the parking lot there was one cop then there were two cops then walking out the front door there were people pulled over in the parking lot there was an ambulance and three more cops. So all in all just another lovely day at our normal Walmart neighborhood market.
Clean store, associates seem happy and willing to help. I left off two stars because there are never any carts. I’m not sure why they seem to have a cart shortage but it’s slightly problematic shopping for a weeks worth of groceries and no cart.
Great prices and variety of brands and generic choices on most items. Pretty clean and organized.
Its the closest grocery store to me. I shop three or four times a week and get all my prescriptions there. They are well trained and helpful
I love my neighborhood market. Its so convenient and usually has everything my family needs.
Stop shopping then. Will never go back all they take is cards and if you pay with cash they are keeping you change. F that
I can get in and out quickly. They always what i need
Only one cashier but lots of self checkout. The line was long but the cashier was incredibly nice.
Very nice people and they were very helpful and fast.
The manager there has accused another of several citizen on shop listening with out showing as nothing on cammaraand t as king the food y hey p a y for and there mon we y i know Im one of his victimsS o meshing needs to be done or Im getting lots of people to protest againents the store.
Highly disappointing that NOBODY has a clue how to do Their job and if You want to use NFC payment, (Samsung pay), you have to have Walmart pay...... I realize that its not any one locations part, but disappointing none the less.
The new pickup service is awesome. Have used it 5 times in the past few weeks, and ever t one way a positive experience. The associates have always been super nice and helpful.
Clean with friendly staff. Nothing like Walmart super center. Easy to navigate.
This Wal-Mart is always out of products and in the hub of the homeless community. That being said since this covid thing the grocery store has given a lot of my homeless friends jobs which I guess provides at least one blessing during this dark era.
Has really improved over the years. The produce is shockingly better than most niche grocery stores and actually have quite a few vegan offerings now.
Long lines. But good customer service
Has great products,,!! Wide variety for a grocery store..
Aye man Aye man LOOOK there aint no ppl to check out ya stuff u gon have to go in there and thug it out but rather then that its gucci on god
I live right down the street from Walmart grocery store and I love going there and shopping theres also a dollar store and a Belle isle Walmart but I prefer the Walmart grocery store.
I love Wal-Mart Neighborhood Mart. The employees at all levels are very good at their own jobs, and very pleasant. They are always happy to help you in ANY way they can.
I always stop at a Walmart store Walmart is the number one store that I shop at . It has everything . its convenient and it has everything that Im looking for
In the morning time only self checkout is open so for those who like to have a lot of items can be very inconvenient and for those who have a lil to wait on the ones who are going to be a while can be a pain if in a hurry. It happens more then it should. Also in the evening time as well.
It is a very pleasant atmophere. The workers were nice and polite. My purchase was readily gotten and I was very satisfied.
This is close to my house and I shop there occasionally for small purchases. I usually go to the super center to do most of my shopping.
Was in and out.. however the Christmas spirit was high! ❄️👍🌲
Love to get my groceries hereNot many people and easy to shop there
Self checkouts let me in and out fast
Very clean store with super nice workers.
I went this morning for senior hours. Why are customers the only ones wearing masks?!?! YOUR EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE WEARING MASKS TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC! The public wears masks to protect your employees. Get it?
The staff stocking shelves and produce must be told to monitor patrons or something because they take pictures of you while youre shopping and its really weird. I understand watching for shoplifters but why would they be taking pictures of people? Its really weird. I see you!!! I know what youre doing! Im taking your pic too smart guys. Im gonna post them on my next review.
I came in with a homeless man who was in need of something to eat, with the full intention of making sure he had whatever he needed to get him through today (its below freezing and snowing). As I was checking out, an elderly white Walmart clerk came up to me and actually attempted to apologize to me (also white), assuming I was somehow being conned into buying things for the homeless man (who was black). When they started shouting at him to leave, I took out an additional $20 in cash, gave him his bag and the money, and walked out along with him. LIKE JESUS WOULD, YOU HYPOCRITICAL CHRISTIANS.
Always find what I need.
Horrible customer service and rude Management!!
Nothings ever stocked at night, patrons are rude, they need better quality food and household items
Its WalMart. One stop shop.
The ladies there are very nice and very helpful.
Cheese, eggs and biscuits were completely wiped out. This was the other day so I hope they were able to get them restocked.
Pretty clean but parking is a little crazy sometimes!
Staff is very professional & helpful & friendly.
They had milk chocolate chips. Just what I needed.
Nice but seems to be crowded most of the time
Today is the last day Ill pay you to herd me around your store like a cow. AND I gave you ONE star BECAUSE I HAD to in order to leave this review.
Quick in and out. Perfect for what I needed.
Dont take cash every other store in Oklahoma City takes it not Walmart ??????
